Willy Carter: Well then, lets not waste any time shall we? We have a lot to get to.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH ONE Joe Everyman vs. Seth Evans Singles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.} Willy Carter: Does he have enough pyro? {Row by row, the lights throughout the arena all go out. The music has not begun to play. During the black-out, mist has started filling around the stage. It seems to take forever, but is merely just a few seconds until the instruments of "Stand Up" by All That Remains kick in, and the lights begin to flicker until a single spotlight shines up at the top of the stage, shining through the mist to reveal Seth Evans standing there with his arms out to his side, staring out toward the crowd that is cheering for him. A smile on his face, satisfied with the cheers that he is receiving while nodding his head.}{ Seth calls out to the fans, allowing Joe Everyman to blindside him with a clothesline! Everyman tries pinning Evans right away after the takedown. 1.....2.. and Evans easily kicks out of it. Everyman lifts Evans up to his feet and backs him up against the ropes. Then he chops him HARD. Then another chop. This chop too is HARD. And then another HARD chop. And when the HARD chops are through, Everyman shoots Evans into the ropes. With Evans on the way back, Everyman takes him down with a big flying forearm attack. Everyman pops back up to his feet, raising his arms in the air and taunting a shocked and silenced crowd. Evans suddenly kips up off the canvas. Everyman turns around to see a grinning Evans back on his feet, and he gets a mean evil shot right to the face! Then another! Then another! Then it's Evans sending Everyman off the ropes, hitting the running Everyman on the way back with a big Spinning Heel Kick! Everyman crawls over to a corner where he uses the turnbuckles to lift himself up to his feet, unprepared for Evans who comes in with kicks to the gut. When he's through doing the kicking and stuff, Evans leans in before Irish Whipping Everyman across the opposite corner, where the evil man hits the turnbuckles back-first. Seth comes charging in after him, leaping up onto him for the Monkey Flip, but Everyman catches him! Everyman turns it around, setting Evans down on the top turnbuckle. He tries climbing up onto the middle turnbuckle to capitalize with a Superplex, but Seth shoves him back so that he stumbles back down onto the canvas. Evans reaches out, still seated on the top turnbuckle, and he pulls Everyman's head into a Front Facelock position. Then Evans swings himself around, driving Everyman's head into the mat with a Tornado DDT! Evans covers him. 1.....2... Everyman kicks out of it!} Eric Hardy: Seth Evans is resiliant. Willy Carter: Or Joe Everyman is just terrible. Dave Holland: That too. { Evans grabs Everyman by the head as he lifts him back up to his feet, backing him against the ropes. He delivers a cople of HARD chops himself before grabbing the arm for the whip only to get it turned around, with Alex getting sent in instead. Everyman throws the wild right, which Evans manages to scout and duck under, hitting the ropes one more time. This time coming back, Evans jumps up for the Cross Body, but Everyman catches him! Joe drops Seth to his feet, knees him in the gut, then hooks him and brings him down HEAD FIRST with a brainbuster! The crowd "Ohhh"s at the move because it looks damn dangerous and stuff. Everyman goes for the cover, hooking the inside leg. 1.....2.. - Evans gets the right shoulder up!}Eric Hardy: What a brainbuster! Dave Holland: You can't underestimate Joe Willy Carter: He still sucks. {The crowd pops big time for the escape, but a pissed off Everyman just grabs Evans by the hair to pull him into a Side Headlock on the mat. Evans kicks his legs to try and work up some adrenaline, but Everyman works it in tightly, keeping Seth grounded. When Evans manages to move himself up into a seated position, Everyman shifts the hold into a Rear Chinlock, dangerously close to making the move an illegal choke. The ref continually checks the arm's position on the throat, but declares it legal. Evans throws himself over to his left, getting to a knee. He move up further, managing to get all the way up to his feet completely. Everyman keeps in the Rear Chinlock barely, but Evans puts a stop to the grip by delivering a couple of elbows to the midsection, weakening Joe. When he's got enough room to break free, he shoots himself into the ropes. Everyman goes for the Clothesline, but Evans ducks under it and stops dead in his tracks as he passes Everyman. And when Everyman turns back around, he gets a wicked Back Heel Kick straight to the face! With Everyman down, Evans goes into the ropes for some speed, then comes back and jumps over Joe, then moonsaults onto him! Evans covers him! 1....2.. - Everyman gets the foot on the rope! }Eric Hardy: Seth Evans is on a roll. Dave Holland: Yeah, Joe's gotta do something to slow the momentum. {Everyman gets lifted to his feet by Evans, who holds him by the hair. In mid-lift, Everyman reaches up and grabs Evans by the head, pulling his chin down on the top of Everyman's head with a Jawbreaker! Evans staggers across the ring in pain, holding his face. When he turns back to Everyman, he gets a dangerously low kick that doubles him over. Everyman brings Alex's head between his legs in the PowerDriver position. He makes a throat slashing signal before clasping his hands around the waist of Evans. He lifts him up onto his shoulders for the Powerbomb, but while up, Evans continues his momentum, and lands behind Joe, then he leaps backwards, as Joe turns connecting with a pele kick! Joe stumbles around then walks into Seth, who lifts him up in fireman's carry position and connects with the Overkill Extermination! Seth keeps the legs hooked 1....2....3! }Eric Hardy: And Seth Evans picks up the win. Willy Carter: Did you expect anything less? Dave Holland: I take it you don't like Joe Everyman? Willy Carter: The Trolley. You are on it. { Seth rolls out of the ring as we go to the next segment. }-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SEGMENTMercedes Vargas“Character Assassination” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {We cut from the arena and fade backstage where Carly Robins is standing by with Mercedes Vargas.}Carly Robins: NCW fans, Carly Robins here backstage, and I’m with my guest at this time, you know here as a former NCW Starlets Tag Team Champion and the runner up in this year’s Starlets Road to the Gold Tournament, Mercedes Vargas. Mercedes Vargas: Even though I really don’t need an introduction, thanks for doing it anyway, Carly. Carly Robins: My pleasure. Now, Mercedes, later tonight on Collision, you will be in a triple threat match against both Charity and Freya Davis. What are your thoughts ahead of this match? Mercedes Vargas: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. Triple threat match? Oh, Carlene, you are so funny. You ever thought of doing stand-up? I think it would make a great second career for you. First of all, I think we all know who the REAL triple threat is in this match, and you’re interviewer her right now. Yo soy fuerte, atractiva, y atlética—I am strong, sexy and athletic. With that being said, who is going to be the threat in this match, Charity? Please. Not even she can stand in my way. Let’s call this match for what is, it’s not a triple threat, it’s a singles match between me and Freya Davis. And tonight? I’m going to expose her for the flake that she is. Carly Robins: I hope you don’t mind me changing the subject, Mercedes, but there was a major news story that broke a week ago on ncwentertainment.com that NCW received a serious complaint from an anonymous female on the NCW staff. Because of this, The Ace, who is the Head of the Starlets Division, was called into an emergency meeting. Would you know anything about this? Mercedes Vargas: What are you saying, Carly? Carly Robins: I wasn’t sayi – {Mercedes cuts her off.} Mercedes Vargas: What are you implying? You think I had something to do with this? I can’t believe this! This is nothing short of character assassination. I would be the LAST person who would commit a heinous crime than putting someone under the bus. I take my job as a member of the Starlets Division, seriously. Since this news story came to light, this obviously affects not only Jake Conway, but the entire Starlets Division as a whole. I was one of the first ones who approved of Jake being the new Head of the Starlets Division. Why do you think I would suddenly give him a bad rap? You said an “anonymous female member” of the staff, right? There are plenty of women that are here in this company. Did the thought ever occur to you that maybe our mysterious female member could have been a member of the announce team? Who is to say Jaymie Boone could be the one? Maybe it was Amber Ashe, the ring announcer? Or it could have been anyone on the Starlets Division. I’m sure there are one or two girls who think they’ve been unfairly treated because they’ve been sitting at home, or not getting booked on a regular basis. What about Jennifer Williams? She’s the Starlets Champion, the hood ornament of the women’s division. It could be Emma Danielson, I know she and Jake haven’t been seeing eye to eye lately, or it could be Ayla St. James or even Alysson Gardner? She’s always been a spiteful bitch and she seems to fit the profile you’re looking for, Carly. Wait a minute… {Mercedes leans into Carly’s face.} Mercedes Vargas: Who is to say that female could have been you, Carly? Carly Robins: Wait, what? No way! Mercedes Vargas: Don't play dumb with me. You’re an interviewer. You always get your story. You know what goes on around here. Who is to say that you aren’t that member? Carly Robins: That would be crazy. Mercedes Vargas: Whatever you say, Carly. Whatever you say. {Carly shakes her head in disgust as she watches Mercedes walks off before she turns to the camera looking into it disgusted before we head to commercial}-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH TWOCurtis Kanyon vs. Stephen KingsleySingles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric Hardy: Up next, two juggernauts go head to head.... Again. Willy Carter: You say that like it's a bad thing. These two are brawlers fo sho and they about to deliver some grade A beatdowns on one another. Best believe dat. Dave Holland: I know I do. They've delivered before and there's no doubt in my head that they will deliver again. {As the drums and didgeridoo kick in, Cyrus Daniels and Stephen Kingsley walk to the ring as two men side by side with a purpose. Stephen has on his corked hat and his vest. Stephen uses the steps but before he steps into the ring, Stephen takes off his corked hat as an acknowledgement to the crowd and places it on the ring post. He steps into the ring and he takes off his vest and he hands it to Amber Ashe. Cyrus Daniels is in the ring with Stephen. He gives Stephen some last instructions before he steps out of the ring and onto the floor. }Dave Holland: Stephen Kingsley has been trying to get his name in the proverbial corked hat of contenders to single's titles. I think he's ready. Eric Hardy: What he needs is some solid momentum behind him and a series of wins would wash away any doubt in any man's head. Especially if those wins started against a former World Champion. Willy Carter: What I need to do is get me one of dem hats. I need to be more like Stephen Kingsley and bang me out one Carly Robbins. {"Lord of the Thunder", by Rhapsody hits the speakers as Curtis D. Kanyon emerges from the curtain. He has a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder. Curtis pounds his chest with his fists then raises the hammer in the air. He walks down to the ring, nodding to the fans. He grabs a sign from a fan in support of his cause, and shows it to the camera!}"Lord of the thunder please be my guide before and after my last ride I'll be your soldier serving the light riding forever alive and proud..."{Curtis then climbs into the ring and goes to the turnbuckles. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest, then screams "The archangel is here! Prepare for the glory of battle!" He points to the crowd with his hammer, then hoists it straight up into the air and yells "BANG!" He then gets down and awaits the match to start.}Willy Carter: Curtis D. Kanyon looks ready to bring about that whoop ass. You know this dude is also talking about a shot at a title. Dave Holland: He's been calling out Xavier Cross but after coming off a huge loss against Double D?... I just don't think he's ready. Eric Hardy: Ready or not, that's never stopped him before. {The bell rings and both men converge in the middle of the ring where they proceed to have a face to face exchange of very unflattering words. After hearing enough, CDK open hand slaps Stephen across the face. Stephen takes a step back, enraged by the blatant act of disrespect before reeling back and returning the favor.}Willy Carter: Come on, dudes. This ain't no bitch fight. Eric Hardy: How politically correct of you, Willy. {Curtis stands by the ropes, holding his cheek and looking out into the crowd while shaking his head. Stephen stands behind him, waving him on so Curtis turns around with one hell of a right punch. Stephen's jaw is cracked as he takes a step back, holding his jaw, Curtis now waving him on. Stephen recovers and steps forward, faking a right punch that Curtis was ready to catch and switching to a front kick to the gut instead. Kanyon falls to a knee, where Stephen takes him by the head and then lifts him into the air, holding him up suspended upside down with a Stalling Suplex.}Dave Holland: And CDK goes for the ride as Stephen shows off his impressive strength. {Stephen holds him up for at least 10 seconds but it proves to be a mistake as Kanyon slips out of his grasp and lands on his feet behind the Australian, turning him around and snapping off a sharp knife edge chop. Stephen stumbles back, holding a chest that quickly welted from the strike but Kanyon is relentless as he removes the arm from the chest of Stephen to snap off another chop. Stephen finds himself cornered against the turnbuckles as Kanyon goes for a corner clothesline but runs into a boot to the face instead as Stephen was able to counter at the last second. Curtis stumbles out and Stephen continues the attack with a strong clothesline that Kanyon ducks, underhooking the arm in the process as he slips behind the Aussie, underhooks the other arm and then lifts him into the air to drive the back of his head down to the mat with a Full Nelson Slam!}Willy Carter: Now that's power, dawg. CDK should go for the pin right quick. Dave Holland: Stephen is a big guy. It's going to take more than a Full Nelson Slam to beat him. Eric Hardy: He's well on his way to getting there though. {Stephen holds the back of his head as CDK looks down on him while on his knees. Kanyon smirks before grabbing Stephen by the back of the head just to deliver closed fist after closed fist to the face. After the third the crowd counts along, reaching ten before slamming Kingsley's head to the mat. Curtis then rises to his feet, pounds on his chest and raises his arms to the air, riling up the crowd as a dazed Stephen is pushing himself to his feet. Curtis stands back, allowing Stephen to stumble to a standing position in an attempt to catch him with the "Kanyon Cutter"(Diamond Cutter) as he turned around but as he was going to wrap an arm around the head, Stephen strikes with a clubbing blow to the back of CDK's head. Kanyon stumbles forward and Stephen wastes no time in jumping into the air and bringing Curtis' spine crashing on his knees with the "Jury's Out"(Backstabber)!}Eric Hardy: The Jury's Out with that one. See what I did there? Willy Carter: I did and that made me want to punch yo' momma's womb for making you. Dave Holland: That was pretty lame but that move was not. {It took a few seconds for Kingsley to come around and finally crawl over Kanyon for the pin and 1... 2... 2.9CURTISGETSTHESHOULDERUP! Stephen looks up at the ref, shaking his head in disapproval as he rises to his feet, taking Kanyon with him. Once standing, Stephen takes Curtis by the arm and strong whips him chest first into the turnbuckles. Curtis' chest collides and the force of the crash causes him to backpedal right back out where Stephen was waiting to scoop him up from the side, walk in a circle, before driving CDK to the mat with a Walking Sidewalk Slam! Stephen hooks the leg and 1... 2... KANYONKICKSOUT! An angry Kingsley gets to his feet and begins raining down boot after boot, stomping out Kanyon's face and chest area.}Eric Hardy: Stephen is losing his temper and that could lead to one big mistake. Dave Holland: Or it could give him the edge needed to take this one home. Willy Carter: Either way, CDK is getting stomped the eff out. {Stephen continues the vicious assault before backing off and taunting the crowd, Cyrus clapping in approval on the outside. Kingsley would go back with a boot to face as Curtis was getting to one knee but Kanyon catches the boot unexpectedly and then rises with a rising clothesline that sends Kingsley head over heels! Stephen then staggers to his feet, lost in La La Land only to be turned around by CDK and "KANYON CUTTER"! The crowd is going wild as CDK doesn't pin but instead heads to a corner and begins calling for it. The crowd chants along with each motion of his hand until Stephen, out of instinct, pushes himself to his feet and stumbles right into a charging Kanyon and the "BANG!"(Gore)! Kanyon hooks the leg and 1... 2... 3!}Eric Hardy: That came out of nowhere. Kanyon picks up the victory when it seemed like Stephen was dominating. Dave Holland: Never let someone like Curtis breathe because he can strike and quickly end it from out of nowhere. Willy Carter: That was madness, yo! Stephen is looking up at them lights not even knowing where he at. {"Lord of Thunder" hits the speakers as Curtis has trouble getting to his feet. The ref comes over and raises his arm before Kanyon pulls away and heads up a turnbuckle, pounding his chest and raising his arms into a cheering crowd as Cyrus pulls Stephen out of the ring.}-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH THREEDavey Ortega vs. Andrew JacobsenSingles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {'Back in the Saddle Again'' hits the speakers as the fans have a mixed reaction. Davey Ortega comes from the back and stand on the entrance way looking to the ring, then eying both sides of the crowed. He walks down the ring with confidence, making his way up the stairs to the apron, he walks to the middle of the apron and turns to acknowledge the fans, raising his hand for a photo opportunity before he gets into the ring and waits.}Dave Holland: Mr Davey Ortega, a man I've been in the ring with and I will say that no one should count Davey out Eric Hardy: Not at all, Davey is a sound technician Dave Holland: But he has never lived up to his promise {A loud air raid siren splits the air as the main guitar riff of "Indestructible" hits, and Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, making a gun shape with his hand, and pulls his thumb across his throat as a mass of red and green pyro goes off behind him. Jacobsen walks down the ramp, staring dead at the ring, and pulls himself up onto the apron. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves as he waits for the match to start.}Dave Holland: Our former world champion looks to be a man on a mission Eric Hardy: He seems to be a man possessed Dave Holland: I would be too {The bell rings and the two men come out and meet face to face, they both go for a collar and elbow tie up, Andrew uses his slight size advantage to push Ortega into a corner, after a four count Jacobsen ducks down grabbing Ortega's arm he ducks down taking him towards the middle of the ring with an armdrag, he keeps hold of ortega's arm and locks it with his kneecap pushing against the elbow of Davey's arm pulling back on his palm looking as if he's trying to break Davey's arm in half. Davey says no to the referee before rolling backwards over his own shoulder trying to get away, Jacobsen pushes on Ortega's shoulder so Davey is face down and locks in a fugiwara armbar.}Dave Holland: Andrew Jacobsen is showing why he is such a great technical wrestler flawless control.... Eric Hardy: He seems to be working on Ortega's arm for the lock and Dam his variation on the anaconda vise a kove that targets the arm and the neck of the opponent.... Willy Carter: I hate technical wrestling...borrriiing someone grab a chair and strike someone with it {Jacobsen stands up pulling Ortega to his feet, he holds Ortega's wrist and then kicks Davey in the armpit and then slams his forearm into Ortega's shoulder before spinning around, grabbing Ortega's arm and sitting down hyper extending the shoulder. Davey moans in pain and gets some distance from Jacobsen who seems to be stalking him, Jacobsen runs in and goes for a running STO on Ortega, Ortega blocks it and spins over jacobsens back hitting a russian legsweep, Davey quickly gets to his feet his arm still bothering him, he leaps up for a standing dropkick, and again and thyen with his good arm he hits a european uppercut, Davey seems to be on a roll}Dave Holland: Ortega coming back after being grounded by Jacobsen Eric Hardy: He looks as if he's getting the feeling back in that arm Willy Carter: Yay his love life is saved....... {Ortega gets to his feet and runs at Jacobsen as Andrew is getting to his feet and hits a DDT, Ortega floats over 1...2..Jacobsen kicks out, Ortega looks at the turnbuckle and starts to climb, Jacobsen jumps up and meets ortega at the turnbuckle, Ortega pushes Jacobsen off Jacobsen comes in and ortega grabs his head hitting a tornado ddt, Ortega goes for the pin again 1...2...Jacobsen kicks out again. Ortega gets to his feet and calls for the setting sun, as he runs forward Jacobsen dives out of the way sending ortega crashing into the turnbuckle, his hurt arm smashing right into it}Willy Carter: Ortega tried to end it.... Eric Hardy: So very close Dave Holland: But not close enough {Jacobsen turns to Ortega and grabs his sore arm before jumping into the air and bringing his arm down across his knee's, Ortega rolls around in pain as Jacobsen moves around, he calls for the lights out, as he goes for it Ortega drops and ducks out of the way before grabbing Jacobsen's arm and taking him down for the crossface, jacobsen rolls over and gets away from ortega before locking in the lock and dam, ortega reaches for the ropes, he almost gets there but Jacobsen pulls him away. Ortega can't take it and taps}Dave Holland:Jacobsen did it! Eric Hardy: Ortega showed heart -------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]------------------------- Eric Hardy: And here we go with Spike Kane taking on the Ace. Dave Holland: These two have a long history, and they're about to add another great chapter here tonight. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH FOURSpike Kane vs. The AceSingles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {The opening trumpet brings the lights of the arena down to pitch black, and as the soft piano kicks in, our attention is drawn to the blinking amber lights of a Spade symbol in the darkness. As the lyrics to 'Skyfall' by Adele kick in, a s single white spotlight eliminates the circular platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us, the platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and as the chorus is reached, the lights in the arena start to flash yellow and cards begin to fall from the rafters. The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and grasping the hand of Kathleen Conway, who is carrying her husband's steel rake in one hand and the couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand. At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as the couple share a kiss. The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Kathy remains at ringside, armed. The Ace climbs the steel steps towards the ropes and steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air. The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring, removing his jacket as the song fades, the lights return to normal...}{The arena lights go out and some lights flashe in time with the guitar riff as "My Curse" hits the sound system, strobe lights flashing with the drums as they kick in, the video showing wide shots and arching shots of Spike Kane, before the lone bass drum and guitar riff play the lights black out.}
"YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-ALRIGHT!"
{As Howard Jones' voice rips through the arena the lights flash wildly, and the tron shows quick flashes of Spike nailing people with the "Thunderstruck" before panning to the figure of Spike Kane standing on the entrance way with his arms outstretched to his side with a slight angle, his palms facing upwards.}
“I watched you walk away Hopeless, with nothing to say I strain my eyes Hoping to see you again"
The strobe lights flash wildly as Spike sprints to the ring with the song continuing in the background}
"This is my curse (the longing) This is my curse (time) This is my curse (the yearning) This is my curse"
{He rolls through to his knees in the centre of the ring and thrusts his arms into an "X" across his chest, smirking to the crowd, but not acknowledging any of their cheers or taunts.}
"There is love burning to find you Will you wait for me? Will you be there"
{He climbs to his feet as the melodic part of the song comes to an end and extends his arms once more at a slight angle, raising his head as if to say 'I'm above you' to the crowd and smirks as the music dies down with Howard's scream and the lights return to normal.}Eric Hardy: And here we go. {The two men circle one another. Ace dives in for an ankle pick, but Spike has it scouted and rolls out of the way. The two men regain a vertical base and continue circling. Ace reaches for a lockup, but Spike slaps his hands away. They continue circling. Ace cautiously extends his left hand, twirling the fingers. Spike slowly grabs it with his right hand. They struggle to grab each other's opposite hand. Finally, Spike simply places his other hand on Ace's left wrist, spins, and applies a Wristlock. He wrenches it in. Ace slaps his own arm, then rolls forward, kips up, and reverses to a Wristlock of his own, to Spike's left arm. Spike uses his right arm as a pedestal, cartwheeling to relieve the pressure. He quickly spins Ace into first a wristlock, then a quick Hammerlock. Ace searches for an escape, then quickly reverses to a Hammerlock. They switch off, then again, with Ace ending up with the Hammerlock again on Spike's left arm. Spike groans, then reaches back for a Snapmare. Ace moves his head aside, so Spike tries to counter into another Hammerlock, but Ace won't allow it. Finally, Spike reaches between his legs, hooks the right foot of Ace, and trips him up! Spike imediately tries for a Figure Four Leglock, but Ace kicks him in the butt, shooting him toward the ropes. Spike bounces off, and Ace rolls to his stomach and positions himself perpendicular to Spike. Spike leaps over Copelan's body on the rebound, bouncing off the opposite ropes. Ace pops up and delivers an Armdrag takeover, only for Spike to continue the momentum upon impact, taking Ace over with an Armdrag into an Armbar! Ace wastes no time, rolling back, getting to his knees, and using his free arm to sweep Spike's legs out from under him, followed by a quick lateral press. One, two, kickout by Spike, who uses his own arm to sweep Ace's feet from under him, followed by a lateral press. One, two, kickout. Ace gets to his feet and rolls under a Superkick attempt from Spike! Ace stands, and the two men eye each other up. The crowd stands and applauds the exciting wrestling sequence. Both men look out at the crowd, with Spike nodding his head and Ace merely scowling. The two men circle one another. This time they lunge into a collar-and-elbow tieup. They jockey for position, with Ace dropping to a knee, then standing, and Spike doing the same. Finally, Ace cinches in a Side Headlock. He cranks it in, but Spike stands upright, attempting a Belly-to-Back Suplex! Ace rolls behind him, however, lands on his feet, and hooks him in a rear waistlock! Spike delivers a back elbow to the face, then switches off to a rear waistlock of his own. Ace grabs Spike's left wrist and spins it into a Hammerlock, positioning himself behind Spike! He then switches to another rear waistlock, then lifts him up for a German Suplex! Spike has it scouted, however, blocking it by slipping his left foot behind Ace's. Spike quickly reverses to another rear waistlock of his own. He then lifts Ace up slightly, then spins and slams him down to the mat gut-first, maintaining the waistlock. He shoots the half nelson, which Ace spins out of. Spike applies a front facelock, but Ace escapes and reverses to a Hammerlock, which Spike escapes by twisting around and back into the rear waistlock. He rides Ace, who finally counters with another amateur wrestling maneuver, regaining his vertical base , slipping free of one of Spike's hands, and delivering a Fireman's Carry takeover. Ace stands and challenges Spike to get up. Spike stands. Ace drops to all fours, challenging Spike to another amateur wrestling exchange. Spike quickly obliges, going for the rear waistlock. Ace easily escapes with a headlock takeover, segued into a Cross Armbreaker to the left arm! Spike yells in pain and drapes his left foot over the bottom rope. The official forces the break. Ace stands and lifts Spike to his feet. He delivers another Wristlock, then elbows the arm three times. He backs Spike to the ropes and whips him to the opposite ones. Off the rebound, Spike explodes at him with a Cross Bodyblock! 1....2...kickout!}Eric Hardy: Spike Kane hasn't lost a step. Dave Holland: He's not a hall of famer for nothing {Spike bounces off the ropes again and extends his right arm for a clothesline. Ace ducks it, wraps around behind him, and explodes with a released German Suplex that throws Spike on the back of his head three-quarters of the way across the ring! Spike's legs compress to his shoulders, then fall back to the mat as he stays on his back. Ace stands and walks to Spike. He lifts the former World Champion to his feet, overhooks the left arm with his right arm, and delivers a DDT to the injured body part, staying in the position on the mat with a variation of the Fujiwara Armbar! Spike screams in pain, but yells "no" when the Mitch Kennedy asks him for a submission. Spike pushes up with his free hand, then rolls forward, grabs Ace's neck, and rolls him over into a pinning predicament! 1....2..kickout, but barely! Ace stands and kicks Spike in the injured shoulder, drawing a yelp from the Hall of Famer. Ace lifts Spike to his feet and backs him to a corner. He grabs the left arm, then runs Spike toward the opposite corner. At the last moment, he drops down and uses all his force to fling Spike shoulder-first into the top turnbuckle pad! Spike screams and grabs the arm, staggering back. Ace grabs the arm again, then runs Spike toward the ropes. He leaps over the ropes and drops feet-first to the floor, snapping Spike's left arm across the top rope! Spike drops to the mat and rolls across the mat, grabbing at the bad arm. The fans are showering Ace with boos as he re-enters the ring. Spike backs to a corner and uses his free arm to pull himself up. Ace charges in and delivers a boot to the injured arm, however, forcing Spike to his knees. Ace lifts him to his feet and Hammerlocks the injured arm, keeping himself in front of Spike. He then places his head under Spike's right armpit. He snaps back, delivering a Hammerlocked Northern Lights Suplex! He releases as Spike squirms on the mat, turned to his left side with the left arm limp behind him. Ace smiles a wide grin, circling Spike like a buzzard would circle a carcass. Ace grabs Spike's good arm and lifts him to his feet. He whips Spike to a far corner, where Spike hits back-first. Ace charges him with a head of steam, but Spike somehow manages to roll away at the last instant!}Eric Hardy: Quick thinking by Spike Kane { Ace collides chest-first, ala Bret Hart, and staggers back. He turns and gets smacked with the Superkick! The fans erupt as Ace drops like a sack of bricks, but Spike is unable to capitalize. He clutches his injured arm and rolls across the mat. Spike uses his good hand to hook the middle rope and pull himself up. Across the ring, Ace is starting to stir. Spike climbs the ropes, facing the crowd, then turns to face Ace when he reaches the top. Ace slowly gets to his feet. He staggers back toward the center of the ring and turns to meet a Missile Dropkick from Spike! This time Spike ignores the pain and makes the lateral press. 1...2... -- No, Ace manages to kick out. Spike waits for Ace to stand, then nails him with two forearms to the face. He places his good arm between Ace's legs and lifts him for a slam. Without the other hand to keep Ace in place, however, Ace is easily able to escape by sliding down Spike's back. He Hammerlocks Spike's left arm, spins the former Champion around so that the Hammerlock is applied with Ace in front, places his head under Spike's right armpit again, and lifts him up. Instead of a Northern Lights, Ace spins around and PLANTS HIM with a HAMMERLOCK SPINEBUSTER! The fans "OH!" after that one, and Ace hooks the far leg. ONE! TWO! THRE- right shoulder up!}Eric Hardy: How did Spike Kane kick out of that? Dave Holland: Drive. A lot of drive. {Ace gets to a knee and looks at the ref in frustration. He slaps his hands together three times, but the ref responds by slapping his hands together twice. Ace stands and looks out at the fans, who are now chanting Spike's name. The overwhelming chant starts to bring Spike to his feet. Ace silences the crowd by punching Spike's injured arm as he stands. He whips Spike into the ropes. Off the rebound, Ace ducks his head down and Spike kicks him in the mouth! Spike charges him, extending his right arm for a clothesline. However, Ace wraps around Spike into a rear waistlock, and kicks Spike in the leg, dropping him to one knee, before leaping over him and hitting the Fame-Ace-Er. He dives into the cover 1...2...3!}Eric Hardy: What a big upset win for the Ace! Dave Holland: This is big momentum for the Ace. { Ace stands, smiling as he looks down at Spike flat out on the canvas. Ace exits the ring with his music playing }-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]-------------------------

Dave Holland: There's three Starlet's that have been doing very well in the division. Some say one of these three could be facing Jennifer Williams for the Starlet's Title next. Willy Carter: Aww yeah! Ladies about to come out and make little Little Willy happy. Eric Hardy: How do you still have a job? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH FIVECharity Case vs. Mercedes Vargas vs. Freya KaneThree Way Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {The lights dim down as the intro of "Standing on the Edge", by The Browning begins to fill the arena.}"Standing on the edge!"{Pyro rains down from the ceiling as Freya Davis pops out from the back. She begins to throw her arms in the air as the crowd gets pumped up. Freya begins to walk to the ring slapping hands along the way as Dexter accompanies her. Once Freya gets to the ringside area, she keeps walking around the ring slapping more hands telling people to get on their feet. Everyone responds with cheers as Freya goes ahead and slides into the ring. She climbs the nearest turnbuckle before raising her arms for a final time. Freya backflips off and begins to loosen up as the music fades.}Willy Carter: Look at Freya Davis thinking she's all that just because she bagged herself a brutha. Eric Hardy: I don't think she was thinking that at all. Freya is one hell of a competitor and I now believe that she kicked out before the three. Dave Holland: The record books say otherwise. However, I do believe she deserves a second go at it. {"Push It", by Garbage begins to play as Charity walks down to the ring with aqua and orange flashlights. She calmly slides onto the apron then leans back against the ropes before letting herself flip backwards into the ring, landing on her knees. She holds her arms in the air as she sits kneeling before rolling to her feet.}Dave Holland: Charity pinned Jenny a few weeks back proving that she is no novice within that ring. Willy Carter: She still as green as the fungus between my toes though. Eric Hardy: That's just... Wrong. {"Face to Face", by Siousie & the Banshees starts from the PA system as Mercedes appears on the entranceway, hand on waist. Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she goes up the steps and walks along the ring apron, she straddles the top rope, facing the crowd before she walks the rest of the apron and climbs to the turnbuckle and then turns her head back as the camera shows her determined expression-perhaps a message that she's wont give up without a fight.}Willy Carter: Mercedes Vargas is someone I can see myself spending the rest of my life with. Dave Holland: I'm sure she doesn't feel the same way. Mercedes is one of the fiercest competitors in the Starlet's division and I for one think she's due for her shot just as much as Freya is. Eric Hardy: Not denying that but I'm sure Freya and Charity would. {Three ladies begin to circle each other, each one attempting to feel the other out. The newer of the bunch, Charity, strikes first as she hurls a clothesline towards Mercedes but Merce dodges it with a Matrix like back-bend and Charity ends up running into Freya who knocks the sense out of Charity with a running palm strike. Unfortunately, Mercedes positioned herself so that when Freya ran through Charity she also ran into a Headscissor-like maneuver as Mercedes twisted around Freya before smashing her face to the mat with a Déjà vu Headscissors Takedown!} Willy Carter: Not Freya's pretty face. She needs that when she retires from wrestling, ya know. {Mercedes then rolls to her feet where Charity comes up from behind with a forearm but Mercedes is wise enough to turn fast enough to catch the arm and wrench it into her "Two to Tango"(Arm Wrench into Hook Kick), but as she raised the leg to kick Charity in the face, Charity ducked and then drove a forearm to the face of Vargas which forced her to release the Arm Wrench and gave Charity the opening to take her over with a Fireman's Carry. Charity then kicks Vargas in the side of the head as she sat up before drilling a standing elbow drop to the chest. Charity then hooks the leg but Freya is there with an axe handle to the back of the head to break up the count before it got started.}Dave Holland: That's a whole lot of action at the beginning bell. Willy Carter: The Starlet's be taking it to the mothereffing paint, Holland. Eric Hardy: I don't know what that means. {Freya brings Charity back to her feet and pushes her up against the ropes with a mixture of body shots and fists to the face before Irish Whipping her into the ropes across the ring, catching her on the rebound with a dropkick straight to the face that sends her rolling out of the ring. Freya then hurries to lay in some stomps on Mercedes in order to keep her down. After a series of stomps and kneedrops to the head, Freya rolls over her and hooks a leg and 1... MERCEDES GETS THE SHOULDER UP!}Willy Carter: Charity better dig deep. She missing all the action inside the ring. Dave Holland: It's still early and I'm sure she doesn't plan to stay down for long. Eric Hardy: Unless Freya can somehow get the pin before she is able to do so. Willy Carter: Captain Obvious everyone. {Freya, with handfuls of hair, pulls Mercedes back to a standing position but Vargas has had enough as she slaps the hands away and then grabs handfuls of hair herself to yank Freya over unto her ass with a Hairpull Snapmare, following it up by flipping over the seated Freya from behind and snapping her head forward with a Rolling Necksnap. Freya writhes around, holding her head and neck as Mercedes stands and struts, pandering to the booing crowd.}Eric Hardy: Vargas needs to focus and not waste time here. Willy Carter: Still Captain Obvious. {Vargas brings her attention back to Freya but by then Charity had climbed the apron and is now springboarding into the ring where she flips over Vargas and snaps her back with a Floating Neckbreaker! Charity then hurries back to her feet and spots Freya struggling to stand so she quickly runs to her and picks her up in a Fireman's Carry before dropping back and allowing Freya's midsection to come crashing down on her knees with the "Rapture"(Bioshock)! Charity hooks the leg and 1... Mercedes comes up with a leg drop aimed at Charity but the sister of Helms pulls out and Mercedes ends up leg dropping Freya. Vargas stands, not really worried about the mishap, but with her back turned Charity easily scoops her over with a School Boy Pin and 1... 2... MERCEDES KICKSOUT!}Eric Hardy: Charity's quick style almost worked in her favor. Willy Carter: Almost don't cut it, Hardy. Dave Holland: It was exciting though. {Charity is upset but she gets right back to her feet, pulling up Mercedes when she notices Freya is already standing. Charity drops Mercedes and focuses on the Kane sister, kicking her in the stomach before taking her over with a Snap Suplex. Charity floats over and mounts Freya and then begins to simply pull Freya up by the head to slam her back down to the mat repeatedly. After about five, Vargas comes up from behind with a kick to Charity's skull. Charity falls to the side and Mercedes looks down at her two opponents with an evil smirk.} Dave Holland: I think Mercedes is waiting to see which one sits up first. {Freya makes the mistake of sitting up only to be roundhouse kicked in the side of the head by Merce's "Coup de Grace", sending Freya rolling to the outside. Mercedes looks to be stepping out too but Charity comes up from behind and leg sweeps Merce's one leg, as she had the other through the ropes, from under her and Vargas crashes back into the ring in the most awkward of ways. Charity then grabs her by the arm and it looked like she was going to pull her into the ring but Freya reaches in from the outside and pulls Charity off her feet before yanking her out of the ring and sending her crashing to the ringside floor. Freya then hops on the apron, shaking the effects of the kick to the head to slingshot over the ropes with an elbow drop to the sternum of Mercedes before going for the pin and 1... 2... CHARITY REACHES IN AND GRABS FREYA BY THE LEGS AND YANKS HER OUT OF THE RING!}Willy Carter: This is one epic match, fellas. Back and forth is making my neck hurt. Dave Holland: You can probably hear these fans cheering from space. Eric Hardy: As Willy usually puts it, no diggity, no doubt. Willy Carter: Mad props. {Freya and Charity begin exchanging blows right outside the ring as Mercedes gets some time to recover. Punches and chest chops are being shared until Mercedes finally gets to one knee and sees what's going. She hits the ropes and comes back with a baseball slide that catches an unsuspecting Charity in the side of the head, sending her stumbling to the guardrail. Freya is also taken by surprise but her quick thinking allows her to spear Mercedes into the side of the steel steps. Freya then backs up and goes for a running boot but Mercedes ducks and sends her flying over the steel steps to the other side of the ringside floor with a Back Body Drop! Charity is leaning against the guardrail as Mercedes catches her breath against the steps while Freya is laid out on the floor and the crowd is going wild.}Dave Holland: It looks like the field is even now. Willy Carter: Yeah, they all look like they need a time out. Eric Hardy: No time outs in wrestling. {All the ladies are resting until they all spot the other nearing the ring. All three ladies simultaneously slide in and rise to their feet, staring at each other in a Mexican stand off until the shots begin firing. Mercedes and Freya and Charity are all punching, kicking, chest chopping away. None really gaining the upperhand on the other until Charity gets double punched right in the face by both of her opponents at the same time. She drops to the mat and then Freya and Mercedes focus on each other. Mercedes finds an opening and digs a knee in the midsection, effectively keeling Freya over. Merce then takes her by the head and looks to send her flying out of the ring but Freya counters and switches up with Mercedes sending her over instead. Freya then turns back to Charity who was standing to her feet, and pulls her into a Dragon Sleeper from behind before flipping over into the Ace Crusher, hitting her "Death by Red Bull" finisher!}Dave Holland: I think that may be it. Willy Carter: I don't think so, dawg. {Freya hit her finisher but unbeknownst to her, Mercedes hanged on to the top rope and is now flipping back into the ring where she intercepts Freya before she pins by grabbing her by the back of the head and sending her flying over the third rope and out of the ring! Mercedes then dives on top of Charity, stealing the pin and 1... 2.... 3!}Willy Carter: Mercedes Vargas steals a victory, yo. She a true thug. Eric Hardy: She certainly did. The sly minx comes out on top and I have to wonder when her turn to step up to plate is coming. Dave Holland: I'm sure soon, Hardy. {"Face to face" hits the speakers as Mercedes just lays there, celebrating her victory. Freya is on her knees on the outside, mouthing off to herself as Charity rolls out of the ring. The ref helps Mercedes to her feet and raises her arm in victory while Freya deathstares a hole through her from the outside. Dexter tries to console her but she pushes him away all the while Mercedes is gloating in the ring.}-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SEGMENTThe Ace“Make This Right” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- { The camera cuts to the backstage area to show a visibly shaken Jake Conway who paces up and down outside Kelly Fox’s office with his wife Kathy. Taking a moment to try and compose himself he can contain his curiosity no longer he bursts into the office to reveal Roberto Verona and Kelly Fox situated behind a large wooden desk. Roberto looks up at Ace who stands in front of them with his wife. }Roberto Verona : How are the family jewels, Jake? The Ace : Go **** yourself, Verona. { Sensing tensions, Kelly abruptly interrupts the pair as Verona just smiles. }Kelly Fox : Welcome Jake, take a seat. { Kelly points at a chair as Kathy and Jake both sit down in front of Roberto and Kelly, the former standing behind Kelly. }The Ace : Thank you…..what is this about Kelly? I’ve been struggling to think who would make such allegations against me all week. I just want to get this cleared up. Kelly Fox : Well, let me be blunt. I received a serious complaint about you making sexual advances on a Starlet which is a terrible display of gross misconduct considering the position that I have entrusted you with. I know about your past Jake, you’re one of the biggest womanisers in this company but I trust you to change the way the division was run following Steve’s tenure. The Ace : Whoever it is, they are lying. I would never betray Kathy like that, what we have is far too important. Kelly Fox : Regardless of whether it is true or not, this is very serious. I am trying to run a tight ship here and the last thing I need is people threatening lawsuits because you couldn’t keep your Jake Junior in your pants. The Ace : I appreciate that Kelly, but I can’t help it if people try to undermine me by making the cheapest of complaints. You should know people will go for the easiest believable problem and hope something believes it. Kelly Fox : I am aware Jake, but you need to sort this problem out. The Ace : I will, but I need to know who made this complaint, so I can deal with them. Kelly Fox : I’m not sure that would be very beneficial….. The Ace : Kelly…..if you don’t tell me, I can’t make this right. Kelly Fox : I’m not convinced you can make it right anyway, Jake. This has been a nightmare for our PR. Roberto Verona : Adultery doesn’t go down well, Jacob. The Ace : Do we really need to have this jerk off chime in all the time? Kelly Fox : Roberto represents this company in exemplary fashion, so leave him out of it. This is about you, Jake. The Ace : Let me fix this, tell me who made the claim and I will make everything go away. { Kelly pauses momentarily as Verona leans in and the pair whisper to eachother as Conway tries to listen in to their conversation. }Roberto Verona : Do we really have to tell him? I like watching him squirm. Kelly Fox : Yes…..besides, it could be fun, we need to stoke the fire in his belly again if we want to move thing along. { Kelly turns back to face Ace, a smile running across her lips. }Kelly Fox : It was Mercedes Vargas. Kat Conway : I knew it! The Ace : That little bitch…..she’s been playing the proverbial cocktease for weeks. {Jake does his best to keep his cool, but he is visibly shaken and angered by the news that the young Vargas has tried to screw with his job, leaving him the vipers nest with Kelly and Verona. }The Ace : She is going to pay for this. Kelly Fox : Bullying some strumpet won’t cut it, Jake. I want to see more than that. Roberto Verona : We want a statement. Kelly Fox : I expect to see one before the end of the night Jake, give people a reason to forget about all this crap. { Kelly points an authoritative finger to the exit as Ace hols in his emotions as best he can, turning and walking out of the door with his wife, almost slamming it behind him as Kathy jumps a little. Ace begins to breathe heavily, his nostrils flaring as the rage begins to build up. }The Ace : Kelly wants me to make things right? I’ll show her…..and him. Then, we’ll deal with Vargas. { With that Jake pushes the camera man aside who falls over, leaving us with the shot of a enraged Ace storming away with his wife Kat Conway in hot pursuit.}Dave Holland: We’re back and up next... a classic X-Division matchup between two men who were two of that’s division’s best. Eric Hardy: They have taken part in some classic X-Division matches in NCW and this should be a fantastic look back. Willy Carter: And it should be good to see my man X-Will tear down some Texas white ass in the process. Dave Holland: Oh lord... not this again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATCH SIXXavier Williams vs. Alex JonesSingles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {The intro of "Gasoline" starts as the lights fall low, as spots lights blink around the arena.
"I check you like I might quit, comin out ya damn mouth catch you while tha cameras off, show up to ya damn house 'Like excuse me MA’AM where such & such ride hard no buckle up' All left hooks, right uppercuts, shoot you like the beat then **** you up"
Xavier emerges on the ramp as the crowd gets loud. Black hoodie, hood up, and black skull bandanna covering his face. Xavier walks to the side of the stage, as he just looks up into the stands. He walks back to the middle and drops to a knee, he looks out into the crowd and a pulls down the bandanna, he looks up and a smirk comes over his face, he stand up and lets out a loud yell as he makes his way down the ramp. He slaps hands with some of fans at ringside, before sliding into the ring. He stands on the middle rope and looks out into the crowd. He points up to the fans in the upper decks, then pounds his chest. He does his trademark 'X' across his chest, before doing his signature gun taunt toward the camera before hopping off the ropes and going into the corner as the music starts to die down..}{{"This is CONFRONTATTTTIIIOOON!"}
{The start of "No end in sight" By Killswitch engage comes over the PA, the lights dim down as strobe lights follow the first few seconds before the guitar riff explodes."The American Nightmare" Alex Jones emerges in a long sleeveless vest coat, Shelly Jones his wife and manager makes her way down with him, Alex leaps up onto the ring apron, climbs between the ropes and throws his arms out in a jesus pose}}Dave Holland: Here we go boys, both men look ready to go here. Willy Carter: I didn’t realize Alex Jones was so eager to have his butt kicked by a big black man. Eric Hardy: Would you stop already? Willy Carter: you can’t hold me down white man! {The match begins as Alex Joens tries to grab Xavier in a lock up right after the bell rings, but X catches him off guard with a spinning heel kick right into the gut of Jones who slumps over in pain. Williams grabs Jones and hits the Uranage Backbreaker. Jones arches his back in pain as he rolls off Williams knee and XW heads towards the ropes and the apron. Williams pulls back on the top rope as Jones is trying to regroup, he jumps into the ring and levels Jones with the springboard lariat! Williams grabs a leg as he lays his back against Alex for the pin 1... but Jones rolls the shoulder up. Williams isn’t going to slow down however as he grabs Jones and pulls him back to his feet, and a short bit later, Jones is whipped into the corner with an Irish whip. Xavier charges into the corner looking for his corner Shining Wizard but Jones catches him in midair, comes out of the corner and drives him into the ground with a spinebuster! Alex flips over and turns, now at the top of Williams head. Alex grabs X and brings him back up, he hooks Williams and hits the TBone Suplex! Jones makes the cover 1...2... but Xavier throws the shoulder up.}Dave Holland: Beautiful suplex from Jones there! Eric Hardy: Fantastic move and a great comeback from Jones to slow down X’s early assault. Willy Carter: Wont’ last long. Dave Holland: Whatever you say Willy. {Alex Jones grabs Williams by the head and brings him back to his feet, he takes X to the corner and throws him in back first. AJ chlosp X across the chest and then stands back as X staggers out of the corner, AJ jumps onto the ropes, spins off and comes off with a bull dog that puts X into the mat. Jones flips Williams over and covers again 1...2.. but X puts the shoulder up. Jones slaps the mat before heading towards the turnbuckles. He climbs up and perches himself in a sitting position at the top. Xavier is making his way back to his feet and Alex stands up, he steps onto the top rope and when X turns around he leaps off with the missle dropkick... but X catches him in midair with a dropkick of his own right in his gut. Alex hits the mat and holds his stomach in pain before he turns over and gets back to his feet, but RUNNING YAKUZA KICK! Xavier falls to his knees and covers. 1...2... but Alex throws the arm up.}Willy Carter: Yeah that’s right, kick his head off! Eric Hardy: So much hostility Willy. Willy Carter: He asked for it. Dave Holland: How so? Willy Carter: By allowing himself to wrestle my boy Black Jesus. {X grabs Jones and brings him back to his feet, he takes Jones and whips him intot the ropes and hits the DECAPITATION LARIAT! X goes for the pin 1...2. but Alex throws the shoudler up. Williams brings Jones back up, but Alex fights him off shoving him in the chest after a quick shot to the ribs. Jones sprints to the ropes and comes back for a head scissors but Williams holds his ground and shoves Jones to the mat. Jones stands up and turns around KTFO! Williams grabs Jones and sets him up for the FATALITY, but Jones breaks his arms free and instead throws X to the mat by taking his legs out from under him. Jones sprints to the ropes and comes back with a quick elbow drop to the chest of Williams but X nimbly rolls out of the way! Alex holds the back of his head in pain from the miss and turns over, but while he is trying to get back up...BFK kick! Jones’ eyes roll into the back of his head, williams flips him over and covers 1...2...3!}Dave Holland: Xavier Williams with a vicious kick for the win! Eric Hardy: Oh wow, this match did not disappoint. Willy Carter: I told you guys he had it in the bag. Should have listened to me. Dave Holland: Oh hush... You always pick him to win. Willy Carter: The point remains. Dave Holland *Sigh* We’ll be right back after this fans. -------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]-------------------------

Eric Hardy : After an eventful evening we have our main event, any other time this would be a star studded finale, but instead we have Xavier Cross against Roberto Verona in a champion v “champion” match. Dave Holland : Little harsh Hardy, Verona is a legitimate champion, even if his conduct is less than desireable. Willy Carter : Verona has helped change this federation for the better and you all know it, Hardy is just jealous. Eric Hardy : Of what? A World Champion who likes to cheat his way through matches after doing the hard work? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAIN EVENTRoberto Verona vs. Xavier CrossSingles Match -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {The nCw-tron with a black screen, we then see Xavier Cross standing there. A bead of sweat drops off his face, and slowly drips. The camera zooms in as the bead falls into a small puddle, the lights in the arena grow dark. Then the music begins. We hear words spoken through the introduction part of the song.
"I am the shadow, and the smoke in your eyes I am the ghost, that hides in the night."
Boom-lay boom-lay, boom!
On the 'Boom!' part we see Xavier Cross step out from the back throwing his arm up, as the fans stand up in unison exploding with cheers. He begins his decesent down towards the ring. The rest of 'Diamond Eyes' by Shinedown plays as Cross high fives some fans before sprinting into the ring. He looks around, before ascending the turnbuckle pointing out to the fans who cheer madly. He kisses his tapped wrist that bare "CC" on either side, before pointing towards the sky. Leaping down from the turnbuckle, he leans backwards against it stretching while waiting for the bell to ring}Amber Ashe : The next match is scheduled for one fall. Entering first, he is the NCW National Champion, from Lexington, Virginia, Xavier Cross! Dave Holland: Cross was brilliant at Battlegrounds in his titanic clash with Adam Knite, but he has been stuttering along lately after his defence against the Ace. Willy Carter: Yeah, and he is going to lose again tonight to another man who is his superior. Dave Holland: In your opinion Willy, he earned his belt as much as Verona did. Eric Hardy: And despite what Verona may tell you he hasn’t turned his back on his ideals either. { The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As boos being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head, the NCW World Championship wrapped around his waist, and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who heckle him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the abuse. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, raising the NCW World Championship high above his head as he awaits the beginning of the match. }Amber Ashe : And his opponent, from Firenze, Italy, he is the NCW World Champion and the Saviour of New Championship Wrestling, Roberto Verona! Eric Hardy: I still see that success has yet to go to Verona’s head…. Dave Holland: Everybody predicted he would become the World Champion sooner rather than later, and whilst he may have turned a new leaf he is deserving of his status. Willy Carter: Here comes our World Champion, he is going to squash Cross like a fly. { The referee takes Xavier’s belt from him followed by Roberto’s as both men keep their eyes locked on one another, Verona grinning cockily, before motioning to the floor crew to ring the bell, who duly oblige. The two men stay still, scouting one another out and waiting to see who makes the first move as the crowd begins to raise the noise levels. Loud chants of “Let’s go Cross!” and “Verona Sucks!” begin to echo through the arena as Roberto is clearly not even a little bit daunted, almost revelling in the hatred, as Xavier smiles, throwing his arms in the air to pump up the crowd even more as they beg him to beat the hell out of the NCW World Champion. }Dave Holland: Cross is the firm fans favourite tonight as well all wait with anticipation to see Verona get what is coming to him. Willy Carter: Cheap pandering, who cares what these people think? Dave Holland: Our accountants. { As the crowd begins to settle the two men suddenly lunge at one another, locking up as they struggle for the upper hand and an early advantage. As soon as the audience had just begun to quieten down however Xavier manages to get Roberto in a headlock before dragging him over his hip and sending him crashing down to the mat on his back with a great display of strength, causing the crowd the cheer as Cross lays a boot into the Italian’s face. The referee pushes Xavier away much to the disappointment of the crowd as Roberto grabs his jaw but before he has time to regroup Cross is straight back on him with another boot this time to the spine causing Roberto arch his back as Xavier circles him plotting his next line of attack. As Roberto gets to his feet Xavier grabs his head, thrusting it below his armpit before delivering a DDT as he rolls on top of Verona and begins to deliver a series of punches into his face. }Eric Hardy: Xavier looking to dominate this match early, he needs to watch out for any devious plans Verona has up his sleeve though. Dave Holland: Good start for the National champion, who must be looking to prove he really is a deserving champion after a rather hard hitting verbal attack from Verona this week. { The referee pulls off Xavier who nods his head, pushing him aside gently and walks towards Roberto who has crawled towards one of the corner to recollect his thoughts, delivering a boot to the ribs which knocks the wind right out of Roberto. Xavier continues to stomp a mudhole into Verona who progressively falls down each turnbuckle with the strikes from Cross, to the delight of the crowd. Xavier is once again pulled away by the referee who is slightly concerned about the fans favourite’s assaults, Cross this time deciding to listen for his own good as he nods along in agreement a little more sincerely this time. As the referee backs away Xavier paces a few steps back as he lines Roberto up before charging and delivering a running dropkick to the face which nearly takes Roberto’s head clean off, leaving him laying underneath the ropes as Xavier paces the ring, pumping up the crowd who are loving this beat down. }Eric Hardy: Xavier is doing what we all wish we could do, kicking Verona in the face. Willy Carter: Roberto is just making sure he doesn’t embarrass out National Champion too much, wait and see. Dave Holland: This match is far from over, I’ll give you that Carter. { Xavier returns to the prone body of Verona, grabbing his ankle and dragging him out of the ropes and into the centre of the ring, leaving him for a moment before leaping into the air and planting a leg drop across his throat much to the delight of the crowd who sound their appreciation. Xavier rolls over quickly and goes for the cover, 1….2..NO! Xavier sits up before picking himself up and delivering another boot to the face for good measure as Xavier is dominant in the early stages. Roberto rolls overs as Xavier begins to follow him from behind but as he leans down to grabs Roberto by the head the World Champion delivers a rake to the eyes which causes Xavier to clutch his face. Taking his opportunity Roberto staggers to his feet and drops a sharp elbow to the back of Xavier’s skull who kneels down clutching his head in pain as the sound of the impact resonates around the arena, and the crowd boos heavily in response as Roberto smiles wryly. }Eric Hardy: Another cheap shot by Verona, he is just lucky this referee didn’t see that. Dave Holland: You have to do what you can to win in this business Hardy, Verona spotted an opening and took it. Willy Carter: Yeah, shut up Hardy. { Roberto shakes off the cobwebs as he races towards Xavier, delivering a big knee to the face which forces Cross to roll backwards, but Roberto doesn’t give him time to recover as he launches himself into the air and drops another knee to Cross’ face. Roberto grabs Xavier’s head and lifts the champ up, whipping him against the ropes before hitting an elbow to the chest which sends the challenger down to the mat. Realising he can’t give Xavier too much time to regroup Verona turns and plants a boot into the face of Xavier who has just sat back up, sending him crashing back down to the mat, his head whipping against the mat. Positive he has time to plan his next move Roberto walks alongside the ropes for a few seconds, taking time to rile up the audience. }Willy Carter: Verona back in charge like a real champion. Dave Holland: And what is Cross exactly? Willy Carter : A belt warmer. { Roberto turns around and begins to pace around Xavier who is slowly getting to his feet. As he turns around he is met with the flying fist of Verona who catches Cross on the jaw, sending him staggering across the ring towards the other side. Verona gives chase, following Xavier and grabbing him by the shoulder, only to be met with a vicious uppercut from Cross who turns and plants his own fist into Roberto’s jaw. The crowd erupts as Xavier begins to deliver a series of punches to Verona who is sent backwards with each shot before he is forced into a corner. Xavier turns and walks a few steps before charging at Verona, leaping into the air and hitting him with a running knee to the head. Roberto steps forward groggily clutching his chest, taken a little by surprise, as Xavier backs off again and runs at Verona, landing a spear to his midriff sending him back to mat. Xavier notices that Verona is laid in a perfect position for a high risk manoeuvre and he begins to climb to the top rope. Steadying himself Xavier launches himself into the sky, landing a corkscrew elbow drop to the prone Verona who takes the full force of the impact. Xavier goes for straight the cover again, 1…2…NO! Verona just about gets a shoulder up whilst pushing Cross off violently, a visibly annoyed look on his face. }Eric Hardy: What a move by Cross, showing his aerial ability with a fantastic display there. Just a few more and he can put away this poser. Dave Holland: He is a tremendous athlete, but you sometimes wonder if these high risk manoeuvres are best saved for an opponent who won’t exploit them. { Xavier doesn’t waste any time at all, getting up and bouncing off of the ropes to deliver a clothesline as Verona sits up momentarily but is sent right back down. Xavier rolls over and gets back to his feet and brings Roberto up with him, whipping him against the ropes and spinning round to catch him in the face with a spinning kick which sends Roberto down. Xavier grabs Roberto’s arm, lifting him up, and whips him into the turnbuckle but instead of staying where he landed Roberto hobbles back out and is caught with a bulldog as Xavier simultaneously bounces against the ropes. Xavier quickly flips over and delivers a quick punch to Roberto’s face before getting up again and hitting a few more kicks to the chest and spine of Verona who grimaces. The referee steps in and Xavier pleads his case but the referee ignores him makes him to step away from Verona who begins to pick himself up. Xavier pushes his way past the referee only to be met by a massive right hook from Roberto who catches Cross completely off guard. } Eric Hardy: *** damn it…. Dave Holland : Cross wasted a little time and paid for it, Verona really connected with his jaw there, it look pretty damn painful. { Roberto wastes no time as he kicks Xavier in the face again before walking around to his side and getting on top of him to deliver a flurry of elbows before he too must be pulled away by the referee, who is incredibly reluctant to place his hands on Verona. Shouting in his face about removing his hands, Roberto simply picks up Xavier and drags him over to the turnbuckle, and throws him shoulder first into the ringpost before violently pulling him back out and slamming him into the mat, to a chorus of boos and groans as Cross crumples on the floor. Clutching his shoulder Verona lowers himself down and rolls out of the ring, reaching back in to grab Xavier’s arm, pulling him in towards the ringpost until he is in a precarious position. Clutching Xavier’s larm Roberto looks around and smiles as he leans back and then violently slams Xavier’s shoulder into the ring post, causing him to yelp in pain and clutch his arm.}Dave Holland: I’ve always wondered why ring posts are legal, but Verona is putting it to strong effect here. Eric Hardy: Roberto isn’t going to ever play nice, he’s proven that with a flurry of low blows and title shots recently. Willy Carter : Go on Roberto, do it again! Hurt this clown! { Roberto soaks up the abuse from the crowd, just smiling as they throw quite abusive language his way before grabbing Xavier’s arm and slamming his shoulder a second time into the post with the much more force than before. The crowd emits a groan as Xavier slams the mat in absolute agony with his feet. Roberto waits for a couple of moments before going back for a third time but he is met with the fist of Cross’ good arm which buys him some time, sending Roberto staggering into the barriers. Picking himself up Xavier crawls away from the corner but Verona recovers quickly, sliding back into the ring at speed and racing to connect a swift elbow to the back of Xavier’s bad shoulder, forcing him to emit a yelp. Cross rolls onto his stomach, kicking the mat to try to divert the pain as Roberto grabs his arm. Lifting Xavier’s arm up Roberto drives a knee into his shoulder a few times as Xavier tries to fight his way free but Roberto slaps away his hands and lands a punch to the back of his head to silence his resistence. }Dave Holland: Verona is taking that shoulder apart, textbook stuff from our World Champion on a night he looks to prove he is the superior champion. Willy Carter: Cross shouldn’t have run his mouth trying to tell Verona who he can insult, he’s the champion. Eric Hardy: Being champion doesn’t give you the right to be carte blanche about what you do and say. { Xavier slowly drags himself towards the ropes but before he can get too far he is faced with another elbow to the shoulder by Verona. As Xavier lies against the ropes, his arms wrapped around the bottom rope, Verona begins to stomp on his victims weak shoulder with absolutely no mercy, clearly trying to send a message. Roberto backs off before the referee intervenes though he can’t resist telling the official off for going near him, walking over to the other side of the ring.. }Eric Hardy: It isn’t looking good for Cross right now. Dave Holland: He is in the ring with a man who is ruthless when he wants to be, and he is sadly finding this out the hard way. Eric Hardy: Cross could still win this one, somebody has to teach Verona a lesson. Willy Carter : Oh look at Hardy having another dig at our champion, real professional. { Roberto finally walks over to Xavier, stomping on his shoulder a little as he walks by. Xavier tries to pick himself up but he still finds it difficult to put weight on his arm. Roberto then drives forward and places a knee to Xavier’s face before coming to a stop at the ropes, grabbing them to steady himself. Verona pauses for a moment, before turning quickly and racing towards Cross but he is caught by surprise as Xavier launches himself up, landing a Lou Thesz press, leaving both men on the mat as Roberto didn’t see that offence coming and Xavier is still in a lot of pain, too much to take advantage of it. Xavier gets onto both his knees as he grimaces in pain and looks at Verona. Lifting himself up he hobbles over as best he can and gets on top of Verona and unleashes a volley of punches with his good, trying this best to stop Roberto from getting back up and returning to dominating this match. Then, all of a sudden, “Skyfall” by Adele blares out of the PA System as Jake Conway comes storming down the ramp towards the ring. }Dave Holland : Verona’s mouth may finally have gotten him into hot water, Conway looks legitimately pissed off. Eric Hardy : He deserves everything that is coming to him, he has to learn he can’t just do what he wants when he wants. { Xavier Cross gets up off of Verona as he diverts his attention towards Ace who is still making his way towards the ring, which draws away the attention of the referee who tries to separate Cross from Jake as the latter gets on the apron and begins shouting and gesticulating in Verona’s direction who, in the meantime, he gotten to his feet and begun to expose one of the metal rings under the turnbuckle pad before feigning injury in the corner to play possum as Cross has had enough arguing with Ace. As Jake continues to lambast the referee Cross spots Verona and runs at him but as he does Verona leaps into action hitting a drop toe hold which sends the National Champion face first into the exposed turnbuckle which busts him wide open as Verona sneakily looks around to make sure the referee wasn’t paying any attention. }Dave Holland : It looks like Verona has capitalised on Jake trying to get his hands on him by luring Cross into a dangerous predicament. Eric Hardy : Sickening display yet again by our champion, what a disgrace. { Verona quickly picks up Xavier and in one swift move he plants him down with a Requiescat In Pace which sprays more blood over the ring before he goes to cover the limp body of Cross who has barely moved since he ate metal seconds earlier. The referee finally gets Jake down from the apron and turns around to see Verona angrily beckoning him over to the prone Cross as he drops to his knees sliding across the ring to begin the three count. 1……2…….3!!!!!! Roberto Verona wins and Xavier Cross is look a little worse for wear. }Eric Hardy : I am getting so sick of seeing this man profit from such unsportsmanlike behaviour, it is a travesty. Dave Holland : Verona said he would win by any means necessary, and he did. Case closed. Willy Carter : Ohhhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhh!!!! My man Roberto shows the world who the best really is! Suck on that Hardy. { Verona quickly calls for his belt as Ace pushes into the ring and makes a beeline for Verona, clutching his signature rake in one hand as he leans back ready to strike but as he moves forward Verona doesn’t even move an inch, watching as the rake crashes down on the skull of Xavier Cross who was slowly beginning to stir. The crowd are in uproar as Ace begins to savagely beat Cross with his rake, the World Champion simply stepping back to admire the ruthless work of Ace who screams angrily with each strike, prompting claps from Verona who leans against the turnbuckle conversing with a few fans as he smiles. }Eric Hardy : This is disgusting, Ace is beating a helpless man when he should have been beating Verona’s face in. Dave Holland : Kelly told him to make up for the complaint received against him, it looks like he is signalling his intent to right the wrongs of the title match at Road to the Gold at the same time. Willy Carter : Verona said that if Cross couldn’t act like a champion he would find a man who could, looks like he found him. Fantastic choice may I add. { The referee tries to get Ace to stop but he is pushed away violently before he finally lands a killer blow which knocks Cross out cold. Tossing his rake onto the floor Ace turns around and grabs Verona’s outstretched hand firmly, shaking it as he looks him right in the eyes before suddenly dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring to meet his wife Kat Conway who makes her way down the ramp to greet her husband. Verona talks a little more trash to Cross before lifting the title into the air as “King of the World” begins to play and the NCW World Champion once again shows off to the disgust of the crowd who have seen enough. However, as Verona celebrates the lights in the arena go out. }Willy Carter : What the hell? Turn the lights on! A brutha can’t be seen in this crap. Dave Holland : What is going on? { Suddenly, we here Mike Laszlo’s voice over the sound system as the arena is in a state of utter confusion. }Mike Laszlo : Roberto, you made a mistake last Sunday…YOU DIDN’T FINISH THE JOB! { As Laszlo’s words echo throughout the arena, a mixed reaction is heard from the crowd as the lights comeback on leaving the World Champion looking in every direction expecting a sneak attack from the Number One Contender. As Verona continues to look around, running he hand through his hair, “The Game” by Disturbed blares through the speakers and after Roberto looks around a few more times he fixates on the stage as we see a security guard fly through the curtain followed by Mike Laszlo holding a steel chair.Willy Carter : He’s not supposed to be here! Get him out of here, he can’t be allowed near our champion! Dave Holland : Mike Laszlo walking to the ring with a purpose. Eric Hardy : AND HE HAS A CHAIR! { Laszlo heads down the entranceway with two security guards trailing who eventually pull ahead of him begging him to stop. Laszlo swings the chair and the first guard moves out of the way, the other behind him is not so lucky as the chair cracks him over the skull. Laszlo drops the chair and goes after the other security guard who tries to defend himself, but to no avail as Laszlo hits him with a knee to the gut followed by a DDT on the concrete! The crowd don’t quite know how to react towards a man they normally despise as Roberto poises himself ready to defend himself, almost begging Laszlo to get in the ring with him. Eric Hardy : He’s laying waste to security! He is absolutely incensed and it is all thanks to the “champ”. Willy Carter : That chair shot did a lot worse than a concussion! Dave Holland : And now he has his eyes on the champion! { Laszlo grabs hold of the chair again and heads for the ring sliding in where Roberto tries to get the upper hand dropping an axe handle on the Number One Contender. He continues to pound away, but the blows don’t have as much an affect after he was in a grueling match. Laszlo fights to his feet and starts firing back with right hands but Verona manages to duck them before dropping to the mat and rolling under the bottom rope as Laszlo strikes the mat with his chair in attempt to hit the champion, but to no avail. }Dave Holland : He’s sending a message to the champion! Willy Carter : He can’t do this! Get out of there Roberto! Eric Hardy : Nobody is stopping him at the moment, it is a glorious sight. { Laszlo invites him back in as Roberto backs up the ramp now holding the World Title in the air as “The Game” plays over the speakers. Verona holds the title in the air as he mouths something towards Laszlo before smiling and kissing the belt with a shot on the NCW Tron of Laszlo staring him down from the ring. The NCW logo appears on the screen as security guards pour down to ringside to try and apprehend Laszlo as Verona slithers through them to be well and truly out of the range of the challenger who strikes at the ring ropes with his chair as we close on the image of security trying to get in the ring as paramedics work on Cross in the corner. }
