Stephen caught in the act.
The scene fades in as we see Stephen Kingsley walking backstage at Collision. He sees some of the starlets walking past him. He looks at them as they passed. He sees Kathy Conway walking towards him. He looks up and down Kathy and she passed him. Some nCw employees are watching Stephen and they are shaking their head.
Stephen Kingsley: What! I am doing nothing wrong. I am looking at some fine Sheila’s here in nCw.
Employee: What about Carly? Does she mind if you are looking for other ladies.
Stephen Kingsley: Carly does not care. Beside we are seeing each other, not married to each other.
Employee: I think you are messing with fire and when you mess with fire you will get burnt.
Stephen Kingsley just waves them off as he walks out of the building as the scene fades out. One hour has passed and the scene fades in and we are in Stephen Kingsley hotel room. He is shirtless and has on a pair of black shorts. He is standing in front of a mirror.
Stephen Kingsley: Breaking Away I have a chance at becoming the X Champion. As I looked at the cards a couple of thoughts went through my mind. The first thought was that most of my opponents for Breaking Away have beaten me. Dexter took the win in the Triple Threat match and of course Curtis Kanyon has beating me a couple of times. The second thought that I had is that my opponents are Champions or former Champions. So some might say that I am at a disadvantage and I would have to strongly disagree with them. Now if I was put into this situation when I first came to nCw then I would have to agree with them, but as I have gained more experience with singles matches and as I learn to take my opponents to their limits what a great match to be in at Breaking Away.
Stephen jumps on the bed. He turns over on his back and has his head resting on the pillows.
Stephen Kingsley: Take Ken Davison for instance. We have had several singles matches and he has beaten me. Tonight Ken Davison ended up losing to me. I know what some of you are thinking tonight was a Tag Team Match. My point is just because you have beaten me once before or maybe twice does not mean that you will beat me again. The X title will be perfect for me to have around my waist. To me the X title means how far you will go in a match to win the title. Lately I have proven how far I would go. At Breaking Away I will prove that I deserve to be the X Champion.
Stephen gets up and sits on the edge of the bed.
Stephen Kingsley: Xavier Williams, I am sure that you don’t like me. You had Dexter beat in that Triple Threat match, but I took the referee out of the ring. It was not planned that way, it just happened that way. BUT what I did to you when you came to the floor was planned. I did it not because you are black. I did it to get you out of the way. I did it because I wanted to win that Triple Threat Match. You may think that I am a racist, but I will kick your butt, I will dish out as much punishment to you as I would do to any other opponent that is across the ring from me. There is going to be a new X Champion and it will not be you Xavier.
Stephen Kingsley stands up and he stretches.
Stephen Kingsley: Curtis Kanyon, you have been giving me trouble lately. It seems that you can take the punishment and then come back with the BANG. You have taken me out with the BANG at least twice. Some might have to wonder if a third time will be a charm for you. Can you become the X Champion once again at Breaking Away? I am sure that if you hit the BANG on me that Xavier Williams will try and stop you from getting the pin, even though he does not like me. I am sure that Dexter Davis would try and break it up after all he is the X Champion, and I am sure that he wants that title to still be around his waist after Breaking up. So does that mean that I don’t expect to feel the BANG? In fact, Curtis I am expecting it. There is going to be a new X Champion and it will not be you Curtis.
Stephen Kingsley walks over to the window. He looks out the window.
Stephen Kingsley: The X Champion Dexter Davis. You have what all of us wants. The question is will you walk out of Breaking Away as The X Champion? I am sure I don’t have to tell the X Champion that you are in a dangerous position. Why would I say that you are in a dangerous position? You are the current X Champion, and you pinned me during that Triple Threat Match and I deserve to have the X Championship belt around my waist. Now I know that you are smarter than Xavier Williams, and you might be thinking why I keep on saying that I deserve to be the X. Well Dexter I am glad you ask that question. Why do I deserve to become the X Champion? The reason why I deserve to be X Champion is…..
Just at the right time Carly Robins walks into Stephen Kingsley hotel room. She walks up to him and gives him a hug. She walks back towards the bed and sits down on the edge of the bed and motions for Stephen to join her. Stephen walks towards the bed and sits down next to Carly. She places her hands on Stephen’s chest and starts to “feel” around his chest.
Carly: I am your favorite Sheila?
Stephen Kingsley: Of course you are my favorite Sheila.
Carly: You would tell me if there was another Sheila involved?
Stephen has a grin on his face. Carly noticed the grin, and didn’t like it. She slaps Stephen’s chest so hard that it left her hand print on his chest. Stephen starts to rub his chest.
Stephen Kingsley: What was that for?
Carly: I saw you looking at Kathy Conway tonight.
Stephen Kingsley: I just looked at her as she passed by me. What is wrong with that? Beside every man does it. It’s not like I stopped her and kissed her.
Carly removes her hands from his chest and lets out a loud sigh of relief.
Carly: You are right. I just got carried away.
Stephen Kingsley: At Breaking Away there will be a new X Champion and….
Carly finished Stephen’s statement with excitement.
Carly: It will be Stephen Kingsley!
Thescene fades out as Stephen Kingsley has a smile on his face and is looking at Carly.
