Guilty, as Charged.
The scene fades in as we see Stephen Kingsley looking at his right leg. He has on khaki shorts and of course he is shirtless. We see a scar that is on his right leg.
Stephen Kingsley: Thinking about what the X Championship Title stands for, How far will a wrestler put his body on the line to become the X Champion? This scar reminds me of one of the times that I put not only my body on the line, but my life was changed. My younger brother Bruce was trying to follow his older brother's footsteps. Bruce was always trying to do better than me. One day Bruce went out on his own, which was a mistake to begin with. I tried to reason with him to take the day off because rumors had it that the police would be out in force but Bruce ignores the warning and set out for the big prize that awaited him. I decided that I would follow him, it’s always better to have someone else along in case something goes wrong. Well Bruce did find the big croc.
Stephen begins to shake his head.
Stephen Kingsley: But what he did not realize until it was too late that it was a female croc. Bruce went into the river thinking that this will make him better than his older brother. After a few seconds of watching Bruce taking this female croc on I realizes that Bruce was in trouble. We kept a boat close by and by some lucky chance we were close to that boat on this particular day. I got the boat into the water and maneuver it over to Bruce. By that time the female croc was pissed. It wanted a piece of Bruce. I reached down pulling Bruce in the boat just as the female croc ram into the boat. It rams the boat so hard that it knocked both of us on our butt. I got to my feet and placed a blanket around Bruce as the female croc hit the boat once again knocking me into the water. I was pulling myself up into the boat when I felt those sharp teeth biting down on my right leg. I let out a deathly scream as the Croc was trying to pull me down. I was holding on to the side of the boat as if my life was depending on it, because my life was at stake here.
Stephen rubs his hand on the scar.
Stephen Kingsley: For some reason, the female Croc released its grip on my leg. I grabbed for my knife as I was pulling myself up into the boat. The croc had tasted blood and was coming for more. As the croc approaches the boat I leaned over and as the croc was getting ready to ram the boat I just started stabbing away and finally the knife stuck right into the eye of the female croc. I leaned back in the boat and blood was all over the place. I could not feel my right leg and at that time the Police boat pulled up beside ours. Bruce was going to tell them everything, but instead I told them that I was hunting Crocs. I knew that my younger brother could not handle prison. Hell was I in for a big surprise when I first step foot into a prison. My life changed forever. I learn some stuff in prison that would make the hair stand up on your head if I told you. I am talking about how to protect you and keeping yourself alive in prison. The best thing that happened to me was hooking up with Cyrus Daniels.
Stephen stares at himself in a mirror.
Stephen Kingsley: I did not get to show off my prize after placing that knife into the eye of that croc. The female croc is dead somewhere in that river. The prize that I did get to show is that I survive the attack, and I survive being in prison, and my younger brother had changed his life around. So does this really make me a criminal? Yes, I did spend time in prison for something that I did not commit. I was protecting my life and the life of my brother but no one cares. No one listens to the story. All they heard was I stabbed the knife into the eye of the female croc and I was guilty as charged. So if that means everyone is going to continue calling me a criminal for my actions, then it was well worth saving Bruce’s life. It was well worth keeping Bruce from going to prison. In a way, we are all criminals. Does not matter if you were born in the United States, does not matter if you were born in China, Japan or even in Aussie. Everyone has done something illegal in their life time. Just some of you have not been caught.
Stephen moves away from the mirror. He walks over to the TV set and grabs the remote, but does not turn it on yet.
Stephen Kingsley: I never did get to tell you why I deserve to become the X Champion. My opponents have told you why I should not become the X Champion. If you ask Xavier Williams and Dexter Davis they will say that I am a joke. That I make them laugh for a couple of days. Let me ask both of you a couple of questions. So when I become the new X Champion at Breaking Away will you guys still be laughing? How will you feel getting beat by someone you think is a joke? Or better yet Dexter how will you feel losing the X Title to someone that you think does not have the ability to win the X Title?
Stephen goes and sits in a chair and he still has the remote in his hands and the TV is still not on.
Stephen Kingsley: Curtis you may have my number from the past couple of weeks. You are right about one thing; I will be more dangerous because I want something. I want to be the X Champion and I am ready to prove to the fans, Dexter, Xavier, and Curtis that I deserve this belt. I am dangerous because this is a match where anything can happen. This is my match because I am used to fighting without rules. I am used to fighting for my survival. My criminal instincts will kick in. The question is which one of you can stop a criminal. Sure, all three of you have beaten me. This match is different, it has a title on the line and everything can happen.
Stephen points the remote towards the TV and press the power button.
Stephen Kingsley: The question is who is going to lose the match. Will it be Dexter Davis, Xavier Williams, or Curtis Kanyon. I will decide who Guilty as charge, and I will execute the punishment, and I don’t care if you are black or white. I don’t care if you are pleading for your life. Just like in my case, I will not hear, I will have no mercy for anyone. The thing that has shown mercy to me was that female croc and by showing mercy to me lead to the death of that female croc. I will not make that fatal mistake at Breaking Away, all I see is the X Championship Belt around my waist.
The scene fades to black as Stephen starts flipping through the channels on the TV. He comes across Judge Judy.
