MATCH ONE
Joe Everyman w/Davey Ortega v AC Douglas w/Todd Williams
Singles Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The sounds of "Good Morning" draw the fans ire as they stand and boo. A.C. Douglas emerges from the curtain, holding his arms up in the air, his head held high as he spins showing off his awesome robe With "A.C." written on the back He saunters down the aisle, paying the fans little to no mind as he is stuck on how good he looks. He makes it the base of the ring and stops, smirking before climbing the steps and entering the ring.}
Eric Hardy: You know this guy A.C Douglas is turning alot of head
Willy Carter: He's a successful young black American what's not to love?
Dave Holland: He's also arrogant and hasn't done a damn thing to earn it....
{Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Willy Carter: Joe Everyman has been in NCW for what seems to be forever...can he ever win a world title?
Eric Hardy: I think Joe has the skills to be a world champion....
Dave Holland: I don't...I like the guy but his time has passed
{Joe stands in his corner talking to Davey Ortega, the two men seem to be working on a game plan, in the other corner Todd Williams is talking to A.C who just bounces up and down, A.C then turns to Todd and just says "I got this". Todd and Davey both drop down as the bell rings. A.C comes out with an arrogant smirk. A.C moves around Joe and then ducks down with a single leg tripping Joe up, A.C spins over Joe's body and then stands up slapping Joe in the back of the head. Todd leaps up on the apron screaming into the ring "Yeah A.C that's how we do". A.C shoots a glare at Todd and shakes hie head. Todd jumps back down as Joe slams his fist on the mat, the two guys go to lock up, A.C ducks down and picks up Joe on his shoulder before slamming Joe down, A.C spins around over Joe a few times and again stands up, this time when Joe gets to his feet A.C hits a knee to the stomach and hooks up a teardrop suplex slamming Joe down before kipping up. }
Dave Holland: A.C is so arrogant....
Willy Carter: He deserves to be Dave, look at him, he's a real athlete...something you white boys don't understand...
Dave Holland: I'm sorry what's your vertical leap Willy?.....
{A.C walks in and says something to Joe before smiling and offering to shake Joe's hand, Joe looks at the fans who seem to try to warn Joe but Joe goes to take his and then A.C backhands Joe!. The crowd boo's as A.C just waves them off, Joe slowly turns looking less than happy about being embarassed, Joe leaps forward grabs A.C around the midsection, pops his hips and throws A.C with an overhead belly to belly suplex. As both men get to their feet Joe runs forward and hits an STO before reigning down right hands onto A.C, the referee counts to four and Joe stops and pulls A.C to his feet before slamming A.C down with a scoop slam, Joe walks over and climbs up to the top rope, he leaps off with a diving elbow and goes for a pin 1...2...A.C kicks out. }
Eric Hardy:A.C Douglas Kicks out just in time
Willy Carter: Yeah A.C
Eric Hardy: You are supposed to be impartial damnit
Dave Holland: Don't use words he doesn't understand that's just cruel
{Joe gets to his feet and measures up A.C. Douglas get's to his feet, Joe hooks A.C up and hits a vertical suplex, Joe rolls his hips and hits another suplex before rolling up and over grabbing A.C's leg and locking in an ankle lock, A.C quickly pulls himself to the ropes and causes the break. Joe pulls A.C back into the center of the ring and points at Todd, he goes to lock in Todd's submission move the cloverleaf, A.C grabs Joe's tights and pulls him backwards A.C gets to his feet and faces off with Joe with a huge smile. }
Willy Carter: Yeah way to escape A.C
Eric Hardy: I give up...I just...give up...
Dave Holland: I would to.....
{Joe goes at A.C. A.C smirks and catches Joe with a T-bone suplex throwing Joe over the top. As Joe gets to his knee's A.C comes in and hits the rearranged ddt. A.C gets to his feet and waits for Joe, as Joe gets up A.C kicks him in the stomach and sets him up for the natural selection hooking the leg as he bridges 1...2....3}
Eric Hardy: A.C did it!
Willy Carter: Why do you sound surprised?....racist.....

MATCH TWO
Rose Acantha Vs EMF
Handicap Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{“We R Who We R” by Ke$ha hits and a single spotlight shines on the entrance as every other light turns out, Zelda and Crystal step out together wearing their identical black EMF sleeveless hoodies. They throw out their arms and puff out their chests as they close their eyes and look up into the spotlight. The music picks up and Zelda and Crystal walk to the ring bobbing their heads jumping up and down playing to the fans with a few high fives and finger snaps at people who don't seem to be enjoying the show.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is a handicap match, and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, the team of Crystal Hilton and Zelda Knite, they are Every Man’s Fantasy, E! M! F!
Eric Hardy: This match was made last week by Kathleen Conway, and Rose Acantha’s just being put through a grueling gauntlet by her for everything she’s done to harass those in power.
Willy Carter: And why not? You mess with the bull, you gon’ get the horns! Or the cat and the claws…
{The spot light follows them the entire way down the ramp. Crystal slides into the ring and does a sultry little hip shake, spins around and stands there with her arms outstretched. Zelda in the meantime steps into the ring, slides to a kneeling position on one knee and throws out the heart symbol with her hands. After the pose the lights come on and they wait for the match to begin.}
Amber Ashe: And their opponent…
{“Her Portrait in Black” blares over the arena loudspeakers as Rose comes out of the curtain and starts her slow methodical walk to the ring. She stares eerily at EMF, a dazed grin on her face as they stare back, slightly unnerved.}
Amber Ashe: From New Orleans, Louisiana, Rose Acantha!
Eric Hardy: Rose Acantha pulled out the win over a very game Emma Danielson last week, but this week she goes from one motivated woman to possibly the most dominant female tandem in NCW history. Dave, do you know what’s going through her mind right now?
Dave Holland: Nobody quite knows, Eric. But I know she’s not afraid. Rose doesn’t seem to know fear, which in this case might turn out to be a double-edged sword.
{When she reaches the ring she steps on the ring apron and with her back to the ropes does a rope assisted twirl over the ropes and then goes to her knees and lets out of the scream as she leans further back. She walks over to her corner and drops down, sitting with her arms over the bottom ropes and staring at EMF.}
Willy Carter: Okay, that chick is seriously giving me the—
Eric Hardy: Willies?
Willy Carter: Naw! Creeps! I ain’t THAT cliché!
{Crystal reluctantly starts off for EMF as the bell rings. She circles in, feinting a kick to Rose’s knee. Rose jumps back, and Crystal catches her off guard with a tremendous open-handed slap! Hilton taunts her as Acantha reels from the hit, shouting that “there’s only one Rose in this company” as she poses to a smattering of boos from the crowd. Rose recovers, crouching down, and when Crystal turns back around it’s into a big boot straight to the face! Crystal hits the mat, and Rose drops an elbow right after her! She goes for an immediate cover! 1! And Crystal kicks out right away!}
Dave Holland: Rose trying to wear down Crystal right off the bat. That quick cover wasn’t a serious pin attempt, it was just trying to burn a bit more energy down after that big boot. Surprisingly sound strategy.
{Rose pulls Crystal up, whipping her to the ropes, and comes back with a high knee. Hilton hits the mat again, rebounding to a sitting position, and Rose comes off the ropes, looking for a low-angle big boot. Crystal lays flat, and Rose overshoots her, stumbling. Hilton kips up and readies, catching Rose on the return with a dropkick. Rose hits the mat, immediately rising and being put down with another dropkick. Crystal Irish whips Rose into the EMF corner and tags in Zelda. The Pixelated Princess comes into the match, and EMF whips Acantha to the ropes, hitting a double arm drag! Crystal climbs back out to the apron, only for Zelda to tag her in. They pick up the dazed Rose and go to opposite sides of the ring, running in and hitting clotheslines from the front and back! Zelda hops back onto the apron, and Crystal immediately tags her again!}
Eric Hardy: Quick tags, frequent tags from EMF, keeping Rose Acantha off-balance in this handicap match!
Willy Carter: Rose didn’t need help being off-balance, Hardy. They’re just giving her a hand with it.
{This time, Zelda and Crystal take turns dropping elbows on Rose. First Crystal hits one, then Zelda follows up. They roll to their feet and repeat the pattern, Crystal-Zelda. A third repetition follows, and this is where referee Johnnie Lei steps in and forces Crystal back into her corner. Zelda looks down and hits a fourth elbow drop, grinning as she rolls to her feet. She points at Rose before walking to the corner and climbing the ropes. Zelda taunts to the Zombies in the crowd before coming off with the MASS EFFECT straight to Rose’s chest! Zelda covers!
1!
2!
KICKOUT!}
Eric Hardy: Now THAT was an emphatic statement! Rose hasn’t been able to get out of the blocks, and maneuvers like that can’t be helping.
Dave Holland: EMF are a talented team, no doubt about it. Kathleen Conway really stacked the deck high for Rose Acantha.
{Zelda shakes her head, grabbing Rose’s legs and signaling for the Triforce. As she tries to cross Rose’s legs, however, she gets kicked off by a struggling Acantha. Zelda bounces back, and Rose gets to her feet, only to meet a vicious kick to the sternum. She doubles over, and Knite grabs her arm, Irish whipping her. Rose reverses that too and leaps up, catching Zelda with a Thesz press! Rose snaps on Zelda, punching and clawing at her face ferociously! Lei pulls her off after a few seconds, and Rose hauls Zelda up with her. She grabs Zelda by the hair and smashes her face into her knee! Rose holds on, hauling Knite up onto her shoulders for a brutal gutbuster, and she spins Zelda around before dropping her with a brutal inverted headlock backbreaker to complete ROSE’S THREE STRIKES! Acantha covers!
1!
2!
KICKOUT!}
Eric Hardy: A lesser competitor might have fallen there, but the resiliency of Zelda Knite is legendary! Do you remember how she wrestled Lance Ryan to a draw with an injured shoulder?
Dave Holland: To this day I have no idea how she pulled off that match. It’s truly surreal.
{Rose growls, grabbing Zelda by the hair again and hauling her off of the canvas. Acantha directs her to the corner, rearing back and bouncing Zelda’s face off of the turnbuckle. She moves to Irish whip Zelda to the ropes, sending her running. Zelda hits the ropes slightly too close to her corner, and Crystal blind-tags herself in. Rose doesn’t notice, leveling Zelda with another big boot! Crystal ducks between the ropes, running and springboarding off for a crossbody on Rose! No! Rose rolls through, grunting as she hauls the lightweight Hilton up and charges, powerslamming her into the corner! Crystal slumps, trapping herself in the Tree of Woe inadvertently, and Rose grins wickedly.}
Eric Hardy: This match is turning around all of a sudden! Can Rose do it? Can she pull off the upset of the century?
Willy Carter: Aw hell naw! GO CRYSTAL! YOU CAN DO IT! KICK HER ASS!
Eric Hardy: I’d make a crack about your journalistic integrity, but…
{Rose points to Crystal, climbing the turnbuckle above her and making a cutthroat motion as she sets up for the Psycho Stomp. Zelda sees this, eyes widening, and she runs over, pulling on Rose’s leg and sending her crashing to the canvas! Lei jaws with Zelda, forcing her back into her corner. Knite goes willingly, grabbing the tag rope and encouraging Crystal to make the tag. Hilton slumps to the mat, and Lei begins counting both women out reluctantly.}
Eric Hardy: That standing ten count is one of the mixed blessings of being a referee. On the one hand, you can protect a talent’s health, but on the other nobody likes to see that as a finish to a match.
Dave Holland: Absolutely not. The fans like seeing definitive winners, and a double count-out is the exact opposite of that.
{1…2…Crystal rolls over, weakly scrabbling towards the corner as Rose stirs…3…4…Rose grabs a rope, pulling herself back up inch by inch as Crystal climbs towards Zelda’s outstretched hand…5…6…7…Rose forces herself to her feet, shaking her head as Crystal closes the gap…8…9…Rose dives after Crystal as she lunges forward, tagging in Zelda to a monster pop!}
Eric Hardy: Zelda’s back in! And here we go!
{Zeldaducks between the ropes, cartwheeling out of the way of an oncoming Rose clothesline. She bounces off the ropes and nails a running dropkick. Rose drops down and bounces back up immediately, Zelda flowing through and nailing a springboard forearm that drives her back into the corner. Knite backs up into the opposite corner, taunting and stomping her feet before charging and delivering a big boot to the cornered Acantha! Rose slumps, staggering out of the corner slowly as Zelda grins wickedly.}
Eric Hardy: It’s looking like the beginning of the end for Rose Acantha! Could this be all she wrote?
{Zelda charges Rose again, but Acantha has her scouted, dropping her shoulder and swinging Zelda up into a fireman’s carry! She twists, swinging Zelda out for the Back to Reality, but Zelda drops behind, snaring Rose into a full nelson and delivering a stunning GAME OVER! Zelda rolls Rose over, shooting the half!
1!
2!
3! The bell rings as Zelda springs to her feet, “Call to Action” playing over the PA.}
Amber Ashe: Here are your winners, EMF!
Eric Hardy: Valiant effort from Rose Acantha, but it’d be tough for most tandems to take down EMF. One woman on her own was going to be almost impossible. She still deserves credit for putting up a great fight.
Dave Holland: Of course. A handicap match of any sort is going to be grueling on the short-handed team, and Rose did a great job with the hand she was dealt.
Willy Carter: What MATTERS, though, is her ass lost! Boom! Taken DIZOWN to Losertown!
Eric Hardy: Can you believe he gets paid to do this?
Dave Holland: I try not to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
Will, Doc and Kelly
“Petitions and Contracts”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We cut to backstage, where Will Washington is talking to some random NCW staff members, gesturing vigerously towards the pen and paper which are on the table in front of him.}
Will Washington: So I say, enough is enough! We have to protect the young talent in NCW and get rid of this junkie once and for all! So all you guys have to do, is just sign your name here on this petition.. and soon we'll be able to remove Doc from his position and..
{One of the stage hands shrugs and grabs the pen as all of a sudden, Doc walks around the corner, apparently having overhead Will's speach.}
Doc: What's... this...?
{Will look's a little surprised to see Doc, but is soon grabbing the petition from underneath the nose of the staff members and shoving it in Doc's face.}
Will Washington: What does it look like to you Doc? Oh I get it, you're too high to read. Well let me clear it up for you - this is a petition to get you out of this company once and for all. Don't you get it, Doc? You're supposed to have some sort of new role around here looking after the young talent. Do you think you're really the kind of role model-
{All the while, Doc has been standing calmly, listening to Washington speak. All of a sudden, he loses his temper and lunges forward in a rage. He pins Washington back against the wall as the staff members try to hold him back and shout for security, who within seconds are on hand to break the pair up. As Doc is pulled away and calms himself down, Kelly Fox power walks towards the crowd of security men.}
Kelly Fox: What's going on here? What's with all the security?
{Kelly looks round and sees Doc and Will Washington being held apart, and looks less than pleased.}
Kelly Fox: Doc.. Will.. what the hell is going on here?!
Will Washington: I told you Kelly! This man is a loose cannon! What sort of role model assaults NCW wrestlers backstage? When are you going to see sense and get rid of this guy?
{Kelly snaps a stern look at Doc, who is still breathing heavily in anger.}
Doc: Kelly.. I was just walking down the corridor when I heard Will talking to these staff members, telling them how I was a no-good junkie and asking them to sign a petition-
Kelly Fox: Petition? What petition?
{Kelly grabs the paper from Will Washington and looks even angrier now.}
Kelly Fox: Will, what did we talk about during the week? Didn't you take the hint? Doc is going nowhere. The pair of you need to grow up and leave whatever issues you have in the past.
Doc: I'm sorry Kelly, but I've had enough of this. I really enjoy being a part of NCW and helping to nurture some great young wrestlers. But I can't go on like this. I've done nothing but try to help people and this asshole has tried to tarnish my reputation at every opportunity. I don't get it, but I'm sick of it. Make the match Kelly, me and Will on Metamorphosis, and let me shut his mouth like I should have done years ago.
Kelly Fox: Doc, you know you're no longer cleared to wrestle by the medical-
Doc: Either I get Will Washington next Sunday, or I'll save you all the hassle and walk away from this job myself.
{Kelly looks between both men, and shakes her head.}
Kelly Fox: You know what? Fine. This Sunday at Metamorphosis, the two of you can beat the hell out of each other once and for all - but after this Sunday, this stupid squabble is finished - or both you are going to be in serious trouble.
{With that, Kelly storms off and a small smile comes across Doc's face as we cut back to ringside.}
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCH THREE
Will Washington Vs Mike Laszlo Vs Steve Awesome
Triple Threat Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in it’s rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before smirking and starting down the ramp.}
Amber Ashe: “Making his way to the ring..... From Cambridge, Massachusetts..... Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-two pounds.… ‘The Patriotic Paragon’… Will Washington!”
{Washington walks down the ramp with a certain swagger as the feeling of superiority washes over him. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and smirks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start.}
Eric Hardy: Will needs to get his career on track
Willy Carter: Agreed
Dave Holland: He has always been impressive
{"This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage hits the sound system as Mike Laszlo walks out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a favored reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a smirk comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a slow confident walk, ignoring the fans along the isle who want to slap his hand.
Amber Ashe: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds, MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
Mike slides into the ring under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd who give him another favored reaction, as Alexis ascends the stairs and enters the ring. Backing into the corner Mike clasps his hands and loosens his wrists waiting for the start of the match.}
Eric Hardy: The number one contender for the world title
Willy Carter: Please as if he can beat Roberto
Dave Holland: Oh yee of little faith
{All the lights in the arena suddenly go dark. The fans work themselves into a frenzy because they know who it is. They know who is coming. They begin to boo like crazy as a recorded voice over begins to play.
“AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!”
Awesome slides into the ring, ending the slide in the middle of the ring. He gets up on his knees as a slow motion effect begins and wind begins to blow his hair. He puts his arms out and flexes as blue and green pyro rain down from the ceiling.
Regrets, I've had mine
Lonely nights and a whole lot of wasted time
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery}
Willy Carter: Steve Awesome has returned from filming movies and he looks great
Eric Hardy: It's awesome to see him back
Dave Holland: I see what you did there....
{Will and Steve look at each other then slowly at Mike before attacking the number one contender. They beat him down with kicks and punches before throwing him out of the ring. Steve and Will high five, Steve turns to Laszlo and starts talking trash, Will grabs Steve from behind and hits the jumping reverse bulldog. Washington cleans off his hands and points at Steve before posing and enciting the crowd. Awesome pulls himself up holding the back of his head. Washington runs in and hits a leg lariat, he goes for a quick pin 1....2..Awesome kicks out, Washington grabs Awespmes leg and locks in a brock lock, Awesome moans in pain and reaches for the ropes, but Mike Laszlo comes nack in with a running kick to the back of Washingtons head, he pulls washington up and hits a uranage. }
Dave Holland: Washington and Awesome got rid of Laszlo
Willy Carter: But the big guy returned with a vengence
Dave Holland: Steve Awesome seems a little rusty guys
{Awesome goes for a quick roll up on Laszlo 1....2...Laszlo kicks out and gets to his feet, Awesome runs in and hits a running forearm before kipping up and hitting a dropkick as Laszlo gets back up and then follows up with a spinning neckbreaker to keep Laszlo down he goes for the pin but Laszlo pulls him off and hits a hard right hand as Awesome spins around, Washington pulls Awesome up and hits a hard tiger bomb into a pin 1....2....Awesome kicks out, Laszlo gets to his feet and Washington intercepts him, they go at it as Awesome gets to his feet, Laszlo goes to clothesline Washington who ducks and Laszlo takes Awesome over the top rope}
Eric Hardy: Awesome to the floor
Willy Carter: Laszlo took him out
Eric Hardy: That was accidental
Dave Holland: It's an effing triple threat match
{ Laszlo and Washington go at it, Washington hits a knee to Laszlo's stomach and sets him up for a DDT spiking him in the center of the ring. Washington pulls Laszlo up and hits a belly to belly overhead throw before slapping his chest, he turns and measures up Laszlo, he grabs Laszlo's head and runs up the turnbuckle hitting the stab and slice (sliced bread number 2 into a backstabber), Washington then jumps up and climbs the turnbuckle, he goes for a frog splash, Laszlo gets to his feet and catches Washington with a cutter}
Willy Carter: OH WOW
Eric Hardy: Laszlo caught him....
Dave Holland: Jesus what a shot
{Laszlo picks Washington up and hit's the Malicious intent, this one is over!. Suddenly the lights go off and when they come on Laszlo is outside the ring face down and Alex Jones is above him, he leans down and says something to Laszlo before leaving back in the ring Steve Awesome leaps on Washington 1....2....3}
Eric Hardy: Awesome wins?!?1
Willy Carter: Thanks to an assist from one of Verona's goons....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
Cabeza del Queso.
"We want our shots"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Once again, we find Chad Lights backstage with the members of Cabeza del Queso.}
Chad Lights: I wonder what you want this week?
El Nacho Loco: We want our tag team-o title shots!
Chad Lights: I never would have guessed!
Dinero Suave: You trying to be funny essay?
Chad Lights: No, let's just...get this over with.
El Nacho Loco: Chad, we are the greatest luchadors to ever come out of Mehico. We don't just "get thingos over with." We do thingos right! We kick ass and take names and everyone loves us for it! When we walk down the streets of Gad-o-la-harra, the ninos bow at our feet! The mamacitas bow at our feet. The working hombre, the copos, the taco makers, they bow at our feet. You know that one guy, the most interesting man in the world?
Chad Lights: Yeah.
El Nacho Loco: He bows at our feet! That's how legendary-o we are in Mehico! We are three time Muy Better Tag Team-o Champions! We have called out the NCW Tag champs every week.
Dinero Suave: We tried protesting, that didn't work. We tried twinkie bribing, that didn't work. We told them we'd fight them anywhere, anytime bro! That didn't work. We told them that if they put those belts on the line, we'll put our careers on the line! They still duck us, they don't even want to acknowledge our existence essay!
Chad Lights: Well, they have more important things to do, I'm sure.
El Nacho Loco: NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANTO THAN CABEZA DEL QUESO! That is why, we are upping the ante!
Dinero Suave: Wait, what?
El Nacho Loco: We know we can win those belts if given the chance-o. So here's what we offer. Let's hang those tag belts on an Assault-o X, but not just the belts. We'll also hang up there a sack of money! Our own money!
Dinero Suave: What?
El Nacho Loco: Cabeza del Queso will put up our magnificent luchador careers and 10,000 dollaros of our own money for a shot at Team America! Let's see if the old geezer and the guy who can barely grow a five o'clock shadow can refuse that.
Dinero Suave: Dude, I never agreed to that. What are you doing?
El Nacho Loco: Because he is Dinero Suave!
Dinero Suave: Seriously dude, what the hell?
El Nacho Loco: Eeee I am Eeeeeeeelllllll Naaaaachoooooooo Looooooocoooooo! And we are Cabeza del Quesoooooo! You're next tag team-o champions of the world!
{El Nacho gives a thumbs up while Dinero and Chad both do facepalms. We go back to ringside.}
Eric Hardy: Those two should be careful what they wish for.
Dave Holland: I like their spirit. They're seriously outclassed, but they got moxy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCH FOUR
Mercedes Vargas Vs Addisyn Star
Singles Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eric Hardy: It has been an interesting night so far, next up, a Starlet’s match.
Dave Holland: Addisyn has been pretty good since arriving and Vargas can always put on a show, but who will win?.
Willy Carter: Two girls grab assing? Everyone wins.
{ Hardy and Holland both look at Carter incredulously. }
Willy Carter: What!?
{"Turn me on" by David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj hits the speakers and Addisyn slowly walks out with Tyrone closely behind her. At the top of the ramp pyros go off on each side of her as she does a big of showing off by rubbing her body in the center of the pyros. When the pyros die down she walks to the ring, totally looking like she's too good to be here with Tyrone closely behind her. She slides into the ring, runs to the to the ropes, stands on the bottom rope as she leans over with her arms outstretched and pyros shoot off behind her. When those die down, she smiles smugly and hops off waiting for the start of the match.}
Amber Ashe: The next match is scheduled for one fall! Entering first, from Hollywood, California, Addisyn Stttttaaaaarrrrrrr!
Dave Holland: Star has looked pretty good, a solid start to her career here in NCW, her promos are certainly original.
Eric Hardy: She faces a stern test tonight in Vargas, can she pull off a win?
Willy Carter: I am sure she is used to pulling off….
{ Mercedes Vargas appears from behind the curtain. Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she goes up the steps and walks along the ring apron, she straddles the top rope, facing the crowd before she walks the rest of the apron and climbs to the turnbuckle, then turns her head back as the camera shows her determined expression-perhaps a message that her opponent will be in for a tough fight }
Amber Ashe: And her opponent, from Buenos Aires, Argetina, Mercedes Vaaaarrrrgggggaaasssss!
Eric Hardy: Vargas recently got ditch by the Ace, I wonder if she has ever gotten over that.
Dave Holland: I gave up trying to understand women a long, long time ago Hardy.
Willy Carter: Hardy understands how a feminine mind works, don’t ya Eric?
{ The referee signals for the bell and Addisyn Star steps forward and extends a hand to Vargas, but Vargas just looks down at it with contempt before slapping it away and driving a quick knee to the gut of Star and an elbow to the back of her skull which sends her down to one knee before Vargas drives a knee into the side of her head which sends her barrelling across the ring. The crowd boo which only seems to please Vargas even more as she bows mockingly in the middle of the ring as Star uses the ropes to pick herself up. }
Dave Holland: Well, say what you want, but Vargas isn’t here to just put on a good show, she wants to win.
Eric Hardy: Perhaps, but this sort of blatant disrespect is what puts some people off our sport.
Willy Carter: Are you kidding me? People tune in just to see who is screwing who… in both ways. Especially when it is the Starlets.
{ Vargas drags herself away from mocking the audience to grab Star by the head where she gets her in a headlock before taking a few running steps forward to plant her opponent into the mat face first with a bulldog before slapping her around the back of the head disrespectfully and laughing, clearly enjoying herself. Dropping a few boots into the shoulders of Star, Vargas seems satisfied that she has grounded her opponent for the moment, long enough for her to leap into the air before landing an elbow right between the shoulder blades of her fallen opponent and capitalising on this focus assault she grabs one of Star’s arms and begins to wrench it in an unnatural manner as she works over her foes shoulders. }
Eric Hardy: Vargas is applying a great deal of pressure to that region of Star’s back; she has clearly gone into the match with a strategy.
Dave Holland: She’s a student of the game; she knows the pressure points which will maximise the pain she can inflict.
Willy Carter: Look at Star’s face, it looks like she’s trying to give birth. She’s not pregnant is she?
{ Eventually Vargas let’s go of the hold before driving one final boot to the centre of Star’s back. Vargas then lifts up her opponent and whips her against the ropes before charging forward and hitting her with a ferocious spear! Vargas goes for the cover, 1….2…NO! Star kicks out, there’s still plenty of fight in her. Vargas is a little bit frustrated but soon shakes it off pretty quickly as she hoists up Addisyn and whips her against the ropes but this time she is met with a leaping spinning elbow from Star which almost takes her head off! Star finally gets a little offence in, staggering to her feet whilst wincing from her earlier assault before running and hitting a neckbreaker on Vargas to keep Vargas down. }
Eric Hardy: Star really needed that, what a spinning elbow.
Dave Holland: She hit Vargas with a hell of a lot of force there, I don’t think she expected that quite so quickly after that spear nearly snapped Star in two.
Willy Carter: I hear Star is used to being split in two.
{ Vargas clutches her neck as Star begins to feel like she is in the groove. Lifting Vargas up she leads her over to the turnbuckle and wraps an arm around her head before hopping up top and quickly twisting and jumping off to hit the Vargas with an elevated top rope DDT! The ring shakes as Vargas is planted headfirst into the mat as a few flashbulbs go off in the audience to capture the aerial manoeuvre. Star gets up as quick as she can and drops a leg across Vargas’s throat in a target attack of her neck before twisting her body to lay beside her to apply a headlock where she begins to apply a little pressure. }
Eric Hardy: Looks like Star is going to wear down an area of the Vargas as well.
Dave Holland: Well if you weaken her neck tyou can make things very difficult.
Willy Carter: Maybe she will want her neck rubbing better afterwards?
{ Vargas realises what is going on and she gets to her knees, forcing Star to expose her ribs which allows Vargas to drive a few elbows into them which eventually forces Addisyn to give up the hold. Realising that she is losing control of the match Vargas forces herself back to her feet despite still being in pain and she runs at Star and hits a knee straight to her face with a jumping knee lift. Vargas hits the ropes as she spots Star getting up and her drops her back to the mat with a running dropkick which keeps her down a little longer this time. Stalking her prey Vargas allows Addisyn to get to her feet before she scoops her up and delivers a jackhammer which sends her foe flying back to the mat with force. }
Dave Holland: Vargas showing her ruthless streak by getting back into control of this match from a precarious position.
Willy Carter: That girl is a little too crazy.
Eric Hardy: This match is a great bit of back and forth.
{ Vargas lifts herself back up and takes a few steps back to assess her next move as Star gets up groggily gets onto her hands and knees and finds out Vargas’s next step as she is met with a running knee to the face which sends her back down to the mat again, rolling to the sit and almost out of the ring. Making sure she keeps on top Vargas lifts Star up and hits a snap supAce on Addisyn which sends her hurtling across the ring towards a corner, which she scrambles into to try and get away from the onslaught but to no avail. Spotting that Addisyn has sat herself up in the corner she charges at her and hits a boot to the face before continuing to stomp on Star. Before long the referee has to pull Vargas back and begins to tick her off but Vargas just laughs as the crowd rains boos down onto her. }
Dave Holland: Vargas proving to be as popular with our fans as ever.
Eric Hardy: Perhaps not but then, when has she ever been overly concerned with what the audience thinks of her?
Willy Carter: She is a smart woman, these chumps are morons.
{ Holding her hands up mockingly Mercedes paces backwards away from Addisyn but Star uses the time she has been given to charge at Vargas before landing a clothesline to send Vargas down who just bounces straight back up only to be met with another clotheslines which keeps her down. Taking her opening Addisyn bounces off of the rope and as Vargas manages to get up to one knee she grabs her head and lands a tornado DDT before she begins to apply another headlock to Vargas. Finding herself in a precarious position once more Vargas begins to sprawl her arms out looking for an escape route and luckily for her there is a rope just inches away from her fingertips, forcing Addisyn to break the hold. }
Dave Holland: Vargas doing the smart thing and getting away before Star could really do anymore damage with that.
Eric Hardy: Smart move from the Vargas.
Willy Carter: Well she was hardly going to let Star lock it in was she?
{ Hoisting herself up Vargas spots the charging Addisyn who had taken a run up to try stay on top and pre-empting her foe she drops back down and pulls the top rope as she falls which sends Addisyn flying to the outside. Shaking off the cobwebs Vargas steps out between the ropes and points to her head to indicate how smart a move it was and follows Addisyn, landing a vicious right hook to the side of her face which sends her stumbling backwards on the mats outside. Following her foe Vargas picks Star up and grabs the back of her head before looking around at the baying audience who are mouthing obscenities at her and driving Addisyn’s face into the barrier which sends her staggering off towards the announce tables for refuge. }
Willy Carter: Watch out guys!
Eric Hardy: Vargas has taken this to ringside after Star almost got back in control of this bout.
Dave Holland: Vargas is a sneaky customer, but Star isn’t beat yet either.
{ Addisyn leans against the announce table but quickly finds Vargas’s hand placed on the back of her head again, sending her face first into the announce table, only this time she falls backwards and hits the ground. Vargas looks around and begins mocking the crowd again who shout further abuse at her as she leans over to grab Star and roll her back in the ring. Sliding in Vargas follows Addisyn who stumbles to her feet only to be met with a clothesline which sends her bouncing straight back down. Vargas stands up and leaps in the air before driving back downwards with an elbow to Star’s shoulder region, wasting no time before turning her opponent over and climbing atop Addisyn and raining down with several fists, making sure to stop before she is warned by the referee, feigning complete innocence. }
Dave Holland: Vargas is showing a brutal streak that has kept her alive in this match for so long.
{ Vargas yanks Star from the mat before lifting her up and dropping her across her knee driving it straight into the shoulder blades of Star. Not content with this assault on the increasingly weakening area Vargas lifts her up and repeat the manoeuvre before driving a couple of knees into the side of Star’s spine for good measure. Mounting the prone Addisyn she start to launch a series of fists into her skull but once again before the referee can intervene she halts the assault and lifts up her victim. Wrapping her arms underneath Addisyn’s she flings her over her head, leaving her lying in a heap of pain in the middle of the ring. Allowing herself a quick smile Vargas sits up and plots over her next move. }
Willy Carter: Vargas has lost it.
Dave Holland: She is going back to those shoulders, perhaps preparing for an arm bar of some variety to try and force Star to tap.
Eric Hardy: Both women have concentrated attacks on specific areas and you can hardly blame them.
{ Vargas stands up and brings Star with her, whipping her into the ropes as Vargas tries to hit another clotheslines Star drops to her knee and lands a right fist to the kneecap of Vargas. Vargas leans over to try and grab at Addisyn but she rolls underneath the attempted grapple, landing an elbow into the other knee before rising up and dealing out a devastating swinging neckbreaker to Vargas who hits the mat with a thud and is forced to clutch onto her painful neck. Star shuffles over to Vargas and begins to land knees and elbows into the neck of her opponent as she tries to further the assault on the increasingly fragile area. }
Dave Holland: Star is right back into this match and she is dishing out some serious offence to the neck of the Vargas.
Eric Hardy: This may just be a case of giving something to distract Vargas long enough for Star to try and land a finishing manoeuvre to close this match off.
Willy Carter: These broads are beating the crap outta one another!
{ Star lifts herself up and kicks Vargas in the back to send her back down to the mat before she looks to the corner of the ring. Walking over slowly Addisyn begins her climb to the top rope as Vargas begins to stir a few feet away. Picking her spot Addisyn jumps into the air and lands a hard drop kick to Vargas which sends her right back down. Addisyn goes for the pin 1….2….NO! Vargas gets a shoulder up much to the displeasure of Star who argues politely with the referee for a moment before turning and planting a boot into Vargas’s face to keep her down on the mat and averting gifting her an opportunity to recover. }
Dave Holland: Star was close there but it wasn’t enough to put away Vargas who is still more than entirely in this match.
Eric Hardy: It has been far too close to call so far, you suspect it will be one moment of brilliance that wins.
Willy Carter: Come on ref let them fight!
{ The referee warns Addisyn about not continuing to boot Vargas who nods, pushing her aside gently and walks towards Vargas who has crawled towards one of the corner to recollect her thoughts, delivering a boot to the ribs which knocks the wind right out of Vargas. Addisyn continues to stomp a mudhole into Vargas who progressively falls down each turnbuckle with the strikes from Star. Addisyn is pulled away by the referee who is slightly concerned about the assault after warning her seconds earlier, Star decides to listen for her own good as she nods along in agreement. As the referee backs away Addisyn grabs Vargas by the hair but as she takes her away for a few moments Vargas lands a sneaky low blow which sends Star to the mat like a sack of bricks, without the referee realising what transpired. }
Eric Hardy: What a sneaky, no good, move!
Willy Carter: Right in the babymaker!
Dave Holland: The stakes are high, sometimes you’ve just got to do whatever it takes to win matches and Vargas isn’t afraid to blur the lines of what you can and cannot get away with.
{ Vargas picks herself up and staring around at the crowd she paces around the ring and starts pumping them up into a frenzy with some rather rude gestures before she begins to circle Star who picks herself up, a hand clutching her crotch which wasn’t overly pleased with the sudden sneak attack. As Addisyn turns she finds herself sent back down with a clothesline but as she picks herself back up she is met with another running knee which connects with venom! As spit flies through the air Addisyn’s legs buckle beneath her and she hits the mat again. Vargas walks towards the turnbuckles and hoists herself upwards, standing up and balancing herself. }
Dave Holland: Vargas is back firmly in control of this fight, albeit through nefarious methods.
Willy Carter: Stop your complaining this has been a great match.
Eric Hardy: Although it pains me to say it, Willy is right.
{ With a smug grin Vargas steadies herself and leaps into the sky, dropping an elbow deep into the chest of Addisyn Star! The camera’s flash as Vargas shakes her head suggesting that she isn’t quite done yet, leaning over as she waits for Addisyn to slowly shake off the pain. When Addisyn stands up Vargas lunges forward as she goes for a super kick but Star has seen it coming and she grabs her foot before twisting it and sending Vargas down as Star applies an ankle lock! Thinking quickly Vargas turns over and lands a boot into Addisyn’s face which sends her stumbling backwards. Lifting herself up Vargas turns and runs towards the rope and just as she does so Addisyn does the same, both women charging at each other. As they approach puts out an arm and the pair clash with a double clothesline which sends them both crashing hard to the mat. }
Willy Carter: Damn, these girls are going all out!
Eric Hardy: Both women are incapacitated here, it’s all about who can recover first to capitalise.
Dave Holland: They both need to make this count.
VARGAS WINS
{ The crowd begin to will Star to her feet but much to their dismay it is the unpopular Vargas who begins to get up first whilst Addisyn barely even moves. The referee checks on both women but the Vargas pushes her away as she uses the ropes to get some leverage to get back up onto her feet whilst Star finally begins to stir. As Star gets onto her knees Vargas spots the opening she has been waiting for and she runs towards Addisyn and lifts her into the air for a Black Rose Overdrive! Vargas hooks a leg….1….2….3!!!!!! }
Willy Carter: Poor Addisyn, but I think she is used to being on her back.
Eric Hardy: After a hard fought contest it is Mercedes Vargas who comes out on top!
Dave Holland: Credit to both women but it was the Vargas who had more about her here tonight to get the job done.
{ “Face to Face” blasts out of the PA system as the Vargas leaps to her feet with joy, not allowing the referee to have the honours of raising her arm as she celebrates happily despite the fact the crowd rain down boos on her. }
