"AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!"
Dramatic Pause.
"REGRETS I'VE GOT MINE............!"
All of a sudden "Full of Regrets" comes bursting out of the speakers like a shotgun as Steve Awesome steps out onto the stage. He turns backwards and shows off his vest with a big Steve Awesome graphic on it. Then he peaks his head back and smirks into the camera as pyros blast off on the stage on opposite sides.}
Eric Hardy: Former world champion Steve Awesome in the house
Dave Holland: With an awesome new haircut
Willy Carter: Looks gay......
Eric Hardy: Damnit willy....five minutes into the show and you already offended people
{The drumbeat of "Rise Above" sounds over the PA, and the sound of harsh guitars ushers in Caleb Lockwood. He smirks, bouncing on the soles of his feet and shouting at the crowd to get them fired up. He fixes his gaze on the ring and grins, charging down. Lockwood leaps into the ring, kipping up and playing to the crowd. His music dies down as he moves into his corner, awaiting the bell.}
Willy Carter: Caleb lockwood..master of gravity...blah blah blah
Eric Hardy: What's your problem
Willy Carter: Where's the damn title matches?...or the ladies?
Dave Holland: You're an idiot....
{Steve Awesome moves around the ring and fixes his hair, Steve walks up to Caleb and starts saying a few things. Caleb shakes his head and backhands Steve across the face, Steve holds his cheek and turns in anger swinging at Caleb who ducks under Steve's arm and jumps onto the middle rope springboarding back with a moonsault, Caleb lands on his feet as Steve ducks under, Caleb rolls under a clothesline attempt and then rolls again kipping up off his neck to his feet. Steve points at Caleb obviously frustrated, Steve gets a holds of Caleb and wrings in his arm, Caleb throws his body back, kips back up again and plants one hand on the ground before kicking Steve in the side of the face.}
Eric Hardy: Caleb with a swift kick
Willy Carter: Whoopedy do more hippity flippity crap
{Caleb and Steve lock up, Steve slams his knee into Caleb's stomach, hooks up Caleb and hit's a snap suplex. Steve rolls his hips, stands up and hits another one, Steve floats over and starts raining down right hands into Calebs skull. Steve stands up and then stomps down on Caleb holding the top rope. After a few hard kicks Steve takes a few steps back and measures Caleb up, as Caleb gets to his feet Steve leaps up with a high leg clothesline taking Caleb down, Steve stays on the attack pulling Caleb up kneeing him in the stomach, Steve runs to the ropes and hits the brain scrambler Axe kick, steve goes for the pin 1...2....Caleb kicks out}
Eric Hardy:Steve Awesome almost got the win there
Dave Holland: But Caleb showed his heart and kicked out
Willy Carter: Awesome is a big time movie star....he should have a real opponent
{Steve gets to his feet and starts to call for the crowd to get on his side. Steve measures up Caleb, as Caleb gets to his feet Steve kicks him in the stomach and sets him up for the ego check. Caleb blocks it and pushes up backdropping Steve. Steve holds his back and gets to one knee, Caleb comes in and hits a shining wizard. Afterwards Caleb gets to his feet and climbs to the top rope, he stares down at Steve and goes for the corkscrew shooting star press, he hits it and hooks the leg 1....2.....Steve kicks out}
Dave Holland: What a move
Eric Hardy: Lockwood is crazy
{Caleb runs to the ropes and springboards off, as he does Steve gets under Caleb, catches him and slams him across his knee. Caleb rolls around holding his back. Steve pulls Caleb up and sets up the Steveko, as he spins Caleb, caleb lands behind Steve, he spins steve around, kicks him in the stomach and hits the whiplash caleb pins 1.....2.....3}

The big taco conspiracy reveal

{Mariachi music hits the P.A. Dinero Suave comes strutting out. El Nacho Loco follows eating nachos. Dinero Suave yells at him to put those away. El Nacho Loco grabs a handful and shoves them in his mouth and gives the rest to a nearby stage-hand. They walk down to the ring and climb in. Dinero Suave checks his hat to make sure he looks good as El Nacho Loco jumps onto the turnbuckle and sprays the nacho chips and cheese that are still in his mouth out into the air, disgusting the nearby members of the crowd. Dinero grabs a microphone.}
Dinero Suave: Howdy howdy! Otalay! Viva la rassca! We are out here and we are pissed! Pissed! We deserve tag team title shots! We are muy better! Muy better!
{El Nacho takes the microphone away from Dinero.}
El Nacho Loco: We demand everything-o we deserve! We are the best luchadores any of you have ever seen-o! Ever! We were robbed, again! We have been here for months and we have been demanding our shot-o at those tag team titles! We are the greatest-o Mehican wrestlers in the world! So we will not leave, we will not exit-o this ring, until we get our tag team title shots and represent the greatest-o continent in the world! Mehico! We don't care if ha--
{Suddenly the lights go out.}
El Nacho Loco: What the what!?
{The fans go crazy in the dark. Suddenly, bursts of fire blow out of the stage. The lights return and as both members of Cabeza del Queso stare at the stage, El Dragon de Valor stands behind the two, fists shaking with rage. Both members of Cabeza del Queso look confused, then turn around to see the masked luchadore! He hits Dinero with a punch, then Nacho, then Dinero again, then turns and hits Nacho with the Dragon Kick! Dinero charges at Dragon, but he side steps and then does a float over, coming around with his knees buried under Dinero's chin and drops down with the Path of the Dragon! Dragon gets up and points at Nacho, who's slow to his feet. The fans rally behind Dragon as he charges up. Nacho stands and Dragon kicks him in the gut, then grabs him with a double underhook and lifts him, then slams him down with the Dragon's Wings! Dragon drags Dinero's limp body over to Nacho's and he sits both men up and grabs the masks from under their chins. He yanks upward revealing Dinero as GQ Money and El Nacho as Obsidian! They quickly cover their faces in shame as Dragon holds the masks in the air like trophies! He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and celebrates the unmasking of Cabeza del Queso!}
Willy Carter: Finally, someone shut up those two losers.
Dave Holland: Wow, I can't believe it was Obsidian and GQ the whole time.
Eric Hardy: Are you serious?
Dave Holland: They were masked!
Willy Carter: Well, whatever they case with them, I'm glad to see El Dragon de Valor back in the ring!
Eric Hardy: Next up we have the unsanctioned street fight between will washington and Doc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unsanctioned Grudge Match
Will Washington vs Doc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. The voice of an old man comes through the speakers.}
“For years prophets have spoken of the arrival of a man. A man who exemplifies all that is right, good, and just in the world. A man who would leave a lasting legacy that would forever change the world as we know it. This… is that man.”
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in it’s rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before smirking and starting down the ramp.}
Amber Ashe: “The following contest is not sanctioned by New Championship Wrestling... Now Making his way to the ring..... From Cambridge, Massachusetts..... Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-two pounds.… ‘The Patriotic Paragon’… Will Washington!”
{Washington walks down the ramp with a certain swagger as the feeling of superiority washes over him. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and smirks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start.}
Eric Hardy: "This thing all started off with Doc coming back to try and help out the talent of NCW, but it quickly became personal."
Dave Holland: "Will Washington took exception to Doc's hiring, and made has made his vendetta known... He's going to get rid of Doc once and for all."
Willy Carter: "That's what he says, at least. I've got a feeling this thing is going to get nasty."
Eric Hardy: "It's Unsanctioned. That means no rules... no remorse... and NCW claims no fault for anything that happens here."
{As the fans wait in anticipation, "House of Pain" hits over the PA and the crowd rise to their feet, awaiting the arrival of Doc. The lights then turn to darkness, and soon two bright blue strobe lighting bolts shine on the top of the ramp. They cross over in a huge "X" shape, like the St. Andrews flag of Scotland, and as Doc walks out and stands under the "X", the lights turn back on and the crowd pop for their gutsy favourite.}
Amber Ashe: "And the opponent.... From Glasgow, Scotland.... Weighing in at two hundred and sixteen pounds..... 'The Lionheart'.... Doc!"
{Doc walks down to the ring sporting a protective helmet and slides in, stretching himself off and getting focused mentally on the match ahead.}
Dave Holland: "Doc is coming back after a year off and you have to wonder if there will be any ring rust."
Willy Carter: "I don't think so. I saw Doc in there today warming up with some of the newer talent, and he looks as good as ever."
Eric Hardy: "He asked for this match as a way to get revenge on Washington for dragging his name through the mud. Part of me thinks he could end up regretting it when this night is over."
Dave Holland: "This is going to be a car crash, gentlemen."
{The two wrestlers stand across from each other as referee Norman Dafoe calls for the fight begin. The wrestlers meet at the center of the ring and come nose-to-nose, where Washington begins to talk trash to Doc. The man with the boxing background nods his head and takes a step back and looks down before firing off a big left hand that sends Washington falling back to the mat. Will grabs his jaw and looks up at Doc, who advances, causing Will to back out and roll out of the ring, to the floor. Washington doesn't have time to recover, as Doc steps out and gives chase outside the ring. Washington rolls back in and Doc follows, but the soldier dives on top of him and fires away with clubbing forearm shots to the back, before standing up and stomping. Doc gets to his knees and dives forward, tackling Washington to the ground, and delivering rapid fire punches of his own. Will uses his superior power to push Doc away and get to his feet. Doc charges Washington immediately, but Will is able to sidestep it while hooking the waist and going behind for the German Suplex. Before Washington can complete the move, Doc slips free and goes behind, pulling Washington, himself in for the German Suplex. As Doc tries to Suplex, Will grabs the ropes and keeps himself grounded. Doc hits him between the shoulders with a clubbing forearm, loosening Will's grip. Doc powers Will up and goes for the Release German Suplex, but Washington is able to flip and land on his feet. Doc gets up and turns, finding himself standing right in the way of a charging Spear. Doc jumps in the air, leapfrogging the attack, causing Will to go through the ropes and land on the apron. Washington stands up on the apron and Doc throws a punch, which Washington blocks and hits with a punch of his own, staggering Doc. Washington leaps to the top rope and looks to Springboard off, but Doc leaps in the air and catches him with a Dropkick, sending Washington crashing down to the arena floor. Doc steps through the ropes and stands on the apron, looking over his shoulder as Will gets to his feet. The Scot then grabs the top rope and jumps to the second, flying through the air and landing on Washington with the Corkscrew Moonsault Plancha!}
Willy Carter: "Doc's not going to play it safe tonight! He's going to leave it all in the ring."
Eric Hardy: "I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing for him. He's got a history of injuries... he'd better be careful."
Dave Holland: "Spoken like a man who's never been in the ring."
{Doc mounts Washington and rains down on him with some hard punches, before getting to his feet and guiding Washington up as well. Doc whips Washington into the security barricade where his back crashes into the unforgiving structure. The Scot runs at Will, but Will dodges it by rolling out of the way. Doc instinctively leaps up like a cat, and lands, standing on top of the barricade. Washington turns around and Doc leaps off the barricade, catching Washington with a flying Hurricanrana! Doc gets to his feet as the crowd roars, and he grabs Washington, lifting him up. Doc rolls Washington into the ring and pulls himself up to the apron. Washington keeps rolling in the ring, all the way across and under the bottom rope. Doc climbs into the ring and looks disgusted as he spies Washington on the arena floor. Doc walks over and ducks through the ropes, grabbing Washington to pull him back into the ring. As he does this, Will brings a steel chair up and nails Doc in the skull with it! The former Young Gun falls to the mat, and Washington quickly slides the chair and himself into the ring.}
Eric Hardy: "It was only a matter of time before foreign objects came into play."
Dave Holland: "Yeah... and that was a vicious chair shot."
{Washington stands over Doc as the Scot rolls over to his hands and knees to push himself up, but the Paragon raises the chair high and brings it down across Doc's back. Another chair shot keeps Doc grounded, allowing Will to come up with a plan of attack. Washington drops the chair on the mat and lifts Doc to a vertical base. Will hooks Doc up into DDT position, but Doc pulls free and wrenches Will's arm, Irish Whipping him into the ropes. As Will rebounds, Doc ducks his head and looks for the Back Body Drop, but Will stops short. He pulls Doc in and hooks him up, before powering him up and sending him crashing down on the steel with a Tigerbomb! Washington rolls Doc to his side and pulls the chair from under his back, before putting the chair across his chest and delivering a stomp to the chair. Will steps through the ropes and ascends to the top turnbuckle, looking to score with the Guerrero Splash. While he plays to the crowd for a brief moment, Doc gets to his feet and grabs the chair, swinging and nearly taking Will's head off of his shoulders with a sick shot! Doc puts the chair on the mat and heads to the top rope, grabbing the out-of-it Washington, and Superplexing him down to the mat and the steel. Both men lay on the mat, before struggling to get to their feet. Doc is up first, where he catches Will with a Jab... and and then a Left Hook. Doc backs Washington into the ropes and tries to shoot him off. Will blocks it and sends Doc to the ropes instead. As Doc rebounds, Will looks for a Clothesline, which Doc avoids, spinning around, and locking Washington in a Main Event Sleeper Hold. Doc tries to put Washington to sleep with the Sleeper Hold in the center of the ring.}
Willy Carter: "Sleeper Hold in an Unsanctioned Match? Weird choice."
Eric Hardy: "Choking the life out of your opponent is pretty hardcore if you ask me."
{Doc finally releases the hold after a few moments and Washington falls to the mat. A sick smile comes across Doc's face before he heads out of the ring and begins looking under the ring for some weaponry. He pulls out a Kendo Stick and tosses it into the ring. Then he pulls out a fire extinguisher and tosses it in the ring as well. Doc walks over and grabs a cup from the outstretched hand of a fan and heads back into the ring. He stands over the motionless Washington, and dumps the contents of the cup, half of a soda, on the head of his opponent. This revives Washington, who slowly starts to come to. Doc grabs the fire extinguisher from the mat and watches as Will gets to his feet and turns around. Doc sprays Washington in the face with the extinguisher, temporarily blinding him. Washington stumbles around, trying to clear his eyes, only for Doc to grab the Kendo Stick and viciously strike him in the head. The sound echoes around the arena and Will falls to the mat like a fallen oak. Doc places the kendo stick across Washington's throat and hits the ropes, coming off with a Running Leg Drop to the stick and the throat. Doc pulls Washington into position and then heads through the ropes and to the top rope. Doc leaps from the top rope and delivers a pointed Elbow Drop to the heart of his opponent. The impact of the move jars Doc's neck a little bit, and he gets up holding it. Doc slowly heads to the corner and starts to prepare for wipeout. He hunkers down and watches as Washington slowly gets to his feet, and as he does, Doc comes flying in with the Genocide Kick. Will sees it coming at the last second and ducks down, simultaneously nailed Doc with a hard Low Blow.}
Willy Carter: "Ouch. Hope Doc doesn't want to have kids."
Dave Holland: "There's no defense for a move like that. Normally it'd cause a disqualification, but in a match like this, it's as legal as a Suplex."
{Doc stands, holding his sensitive area, while Washington grabs the kendo stick from the mat and hits him in the gut with it, causing Doc to lean forward. Washington takes the weapon and grabs it with both hands, leaping behind Doc and pulling it under Doc's chin... drilling him backward into the mat with a kendo stick assisted ZigZag. Doc ricochets off of the mat with great force as the crowd gasps. Washington takes a moment before sitting Doc up and stepping back. Will runs towards the seated opponent and drops down, striking Doc in the chest with the kendo stick in a modified version of the Sudden Impact Clothesline. Washington hooks the leg and goes for the first cover of the match. 1... 2... Doc kicks out. Washington wastes little time pulling Doc to his feet again, hooking his bicep under Doc's chin. Will runs up the turnbuckles and looks to score with Stab and Slice, but Doc hooks the top rope and Will flips over without completing the move. Doc turns around as Will charges him again in the corner, and lifts his boot, catching Washington under the chin. Doc steps out of the corner and lifts Washington up and turning him into a Scoop Slam. As Doc drives him down, Washington hooks under Doc's leg and uses the momentum to roll him into a Small Package Pin. 1... 2... Doc breaks free. Both men get to their feet at the same time, but Washington quickly leaps and drives his knees into Doc's chest, sending him flying back into the turnbuckles with a Codebreaker. Will gets up and heads across to the ring at the opposite corner. He raises and arm high in the air before running and leaping at Doc, looking for the Stinger Splash. Doc slips out of the way and Will connects only with turnbuckles, before backing into the waiting arms of Doc and a Bridging German Suplex. He holds on for the pin. 1.... 2.... Washington gets his shoulder off of the mat.}
Dave Holland: "You'll see these guys going for pins more and more often as they tire out."
Eric Hardy: "Pride is on the line. Nobody wants to lose."
Willy Carter: "Well... duh, Eric."
{The 'Lionheart' is up first, and Washington is up soon after. Doc grabs Washington and pulls him into Piledriver position, but Washington is able to block the move and turn it into a Back Body Drop. Doc gets up, holding his back, and Will meets him with a stiff kick to the side of his leg. A series of kicks to the leg drop Doc to a knee, and Will steps back, looking to score big with a Roundhouse. Doc ducks the move and dives forward, tackling Washington's leg out from under him with a Chop Block Knee Clip. Will falls to the mat and Doc knows exactly what to do. He grabs Washington's leg and goes for his finishing Doc Lock, but Will is able to roll through and send Doc tumbling through the ropes and back out to the floor. Washington slides under the bottom rope and grabs Doc by the arm, whipping him hard, shoulder-first into the ringside steps, which break apart on impact. Will walks over and grabs the top piece of the steps and tosses it into the ring, before stalking Doc as he pushes to his feet. Before the Scot can react, Washington steps back and drills Doc with the Cambridge Calling Superkick, sending him falling face-first into the remaing piece of steel ring steps! Will grabs Doc by the the neck and peels him off of the steps before rolling him back into the ring. Will then bends down and looks under the ring apron, pulling out a table. The crowd cheers for the appearance of the table, but then quickly boos, realizing it's Will that has it. He slides it into the ring, and then climbs in as well.}
Eric Hardy: "What is Washington going to do with that table?"
Willy Carter: "Gee, Eric. Maybe he's going to set up an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet for Doc. Come on man!"
Dave Holland: "I'm sure he's got sinister intentions."
{Upon entering the ring, Will doesn't go for the cover, instead opting to drag Doc to the corner and set him up against the turnbuckles. Washington then picks up the steps he threw in the ring and carries them at shoulder height, before running and squashing Doc in the corner with the steel. Doc slumps out of the corner and falls to the mat. Washington puts a boot on Doc's lifeless body and taunts the crowd who boo him mercilessly. With Doc down, Washington decides to set up the table in one of the other corners, across from where Doc is currently struggling. Will watches Doc get to his knees, and the former soldier responds by picking up the steel steps and preparing for another hard shot. Washington charges Doc with the steel, but in doing so, he doesn't realize Doc has the kendo stick in hand, which he uses to swing and strike Washington in the shins. This causes Will to fall forward, face-first into the steel ringside steps! Washington lays motionless in the steps as Doc gets back to his feet and approaches. He grabs Washington by the leg and twists the ankle, locking on the Doc Lock! Washington pushes himself up with his arms on the steps, and you can see the agony in his face as Doc viciously twists his ankle. He reaches, grabbing the second rope, but there's nothing the referee can do!}
Eric Hardy: "There's nowhere to run from that Doc Lock. Doc's going to snap his ankle!"
Willy Carter: "This is a bad spot for Will. He's gotta be in a lot of pain."
Dave Holland: "And look at that fury in Doc's eyes. He's looking to hurt somebody!"
{Washington desperately grabs the ropes, hoping for some kind of relief, but none comes to him. He grabs the top rope and is now not touching the ground at all. Doc tries to pry him away from the ropes, but Washington holds on for dear life. The Paragon pulls himself up and over the top rope pulling himself down the outside of the ring, now grabbing the ring apron for support. Washington throws himself foward, sending Doc tumbling over the top rope and to the floor... and he's still holding onto the Ankle Lock! With Washington now holding onto the bottom rope from the outside, Doc continues to torture his leg with his signature Doc Lock. Will pulls himself further into the ring, and Doc follows under the bottom rope, while still crippling the ankle in his hold. Washington rolls through the move again, but Doc STILL hangs on! Washington turns his body and uses his elbow to strike away at the back of Doc's knee, desperately trying anything to break the hold. Doc's knee buckles and he trips back to the mat, and Will pulls his leg free and scurries away as fast as he can. Washington pushes himself to his feet and his ankle nearly gives out instantly. Doc charges Washington, but Will is able to grab the chair from the mat and deliver a shot with the edge into Doc's gut. Doc keels over and Will brings the chair down across the back, sending him to the mat. Will drops to the mat and rolls Doc over, looking for the pin. 1... 2... Doc gets his shoulder up! Will looks dumbfounded as he pushes himself up and hops on one foot, trying to shake the pain out of his other ankle.}
Willy Carter: "I thought Will had him there. Doc's got a lot of heart."
Eric Hardy: "They don't call him 'Lionheart' for nothing."
{Washington hops over to the corner where the table rests and begins to set it up out in front of the turnbuckles. Washington lifts Doc and tries to drag him over to the table, but Doc responds by pushing him away and nailing him under the jaw with the Genocide Kick! Doc's Superkick takes Will out and both men lay flat on the mat.}
Willy Carter: "GENOCIDE KICK! It's over!"
Eric Hardy: "He's just gotta get into the cover!"
{Both men continue to lay motionless as the crowd begins to try and will Doc to victory. Doc starts to move a little, getting to his hands and knees. He crawls over and drapes an arm over Washington, looking for the pin! 1..... 2..... Washington gets his shoulder up! Will rolls over to his stomach to avoid being pinned again, and Doc starts to get to his feet again. The 'Boyhood Dream' gets on wobbly legs and grabs Washington by the head and neck, dragging him to a vertical base. Doc steadies himself and hits the ropes, coming forward, where out of nowhere he's drilled by the Coup d'Etat! Washington's decapitating Lariat drops Doc and the crowd boos wildly.}
Dave Holland: "My god what a Lariat!"
Willy Carter: "NOW it's over!"
{Washington drapes an arm over Doc and the referee drops into position for the count. 1..... 2...... DOC KICKS OUT!}
Eric Hardy: "NOT YET IT ISN'T!"
{The crowd explodes, jumping out of their seats. Washington very slowly gets up and gingerly walks over to the steps that are in the ring. He pushes them over and places them directly under the table that he already set up in the ring. He then sees the stirring Doc, and delivers a stiff kick to his ribs, before ripping him up off of the mat. He places his shoulder in Doc's sternum and charges him into the corner, before lifting him up on the top rope. Washington steps up on the bottom rope and looks to go for Kill 'Em All, but Doc delivers a punch... and another punch. Doc fires punch after punch, keeping Washington at bay. Doc then takes his boot and puts it in Will's chest, pushing him off the bottom rope and back to the mat. Doc steps up and stands on the top rope, he hesitates for just a moment, and Will lunges forward, shaking the top rope and causing Doc to slip. Washington puts his back to Doc and pulls Doc onto his shoulders in the Electric Chair position, fighting the pain of all that weight on his ankle. Will steps up to the second rope with Doc on his shoulders as the crowd begins to panic. Doc delivers another punch to the top of Washington's head, trying to break his grasp, but Washington leaps off of the turnbuckles and pulls Doc down.... JOKER DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE AND ONTO THE STEPS! Doc's body crashes through the wooden table and slams down hard on the steel steps!}
Eric Hardy: "GOOD GOD!"
{Washington pulls himself up on top of Doc and the steps, laying on top of his motionless body. The referee counts. 1.... 2.... 3!}
Dave Holland: "Will Washington wins! I'm just glad it's over before someone got killed!"
Willy Carter: "I'm not so sure. We need to get somebody in there to check on Doc."
{Will Washington gets to his feet and fights off the pain as the referee raises his arm in victory. Washington quickly sits back down and rolls out of the ring. Meanwhile, some referees and paramedics rush into the ring and check on Doc.}
Eric Hardy: "This may not be good..."
{Washington backs up the ramp as he looks back at the carnage left in the ring. One of the paramedics motions to the back, and two more men run out with a stretcher.}
Dave Holland: "Uh oh."
{The men carefully put a neck brace on Doc and guide him over to the stretcher, gingerly placing him on it. The crowd is in hushed silence as they strap him in. After getting Doc in place, they begin to push him up the ramp as the crowd applauds politely. Suddenly, Doc raises his hand and the crowd pops wildly for him.}
Eric Hardy: "That's a great sign, ladies and gentlemen. Doc put everything into the match tonight, and we can only hope he's not too badly hurt. We'll be sure to keep you updated on his condition."
Willy Carter: "Mad respect to Doc. And respect to Will as well. They put each other through hell, and Will came out on top."
Dave Holland: "This was a star-making performance for Washington. Mark my words."
Eric Hardy: "Doc and Will were both warriors, but tonight was Will's night... and future just may be his as well."

Starlet's Fate
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We see the entire NCW Starlets Roster surround the ring as the opening trumpet brings the lights of the arena down to pitch black, and as the soft piano kicks in, our attention is drawn to the blinking amber lights of a Spade symbol in the darkness. As the lyrics to 'Skyfall' by Adele kick in, a s single white spotlight eliminates the circular platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us, the platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and as the chorus is reached, the lights in the arena start to flash yellow and cards begin to fall from the rafters. The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and grasping the hand of Kathleen Conway, the couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand. At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as the couple share a kiss. The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Kathy enters the ring first.}
{The Ace motions for a miccrophone and is handed one by a stage hand.}
The Ace: Wow, look aat all of these expectant faces out here, Kat All out here wondering what the fate of their most prestigious title will be. Of course I tend not to think in terms of fate. I prefer to think in terms of fortune, and I'm out here tonight to let all of you. my Starlets know, that the fortune of the Starlets World Championship is in safe hands.
The Ace: You see traditionally every deck has four Queens and so four Queens of the ring have been chosen at random to fight for your most precious crown...
{The Ace then passes the microphone along to Kathy.}
Kathy Conway: That's right. Next week on Collision, four of you will fight for the Starlets World title in a Four Way Match....those four lucky Starlets are: Megan Sanderson, Jenny Williams, Jasmine Barrera....and just to show I'm really not one to hold a grudge no matter what Rose Acantha says....Mercedess Vargas.
{Kathy lowers the microphone as Skyfall hits.}

Amber Ashe: The following contest is a Submission Elimination Extreme Handicap match! The match may only be won if all members of one team have been submitted.
{“Her Portrait in Black” blares over the arena loudspeakers as Rose comes out of the curtain and starts her slow methodical walk to the ring.}
Amber Ashe: Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing 130 pounds, Rose Acantha!
Eric Hardy: Rose is in quite the difficult position here. She’s in a brutal match environment with two very, VERY talented wrestlers. What do you think Rose should do, Dave?
Dave Holland: Stick and move, stick and move. Keep herself out of the hands of Emma Danielson and Kathy Conway, use the no-DQ environment to her advantage, and really try to fight this on her terms. That’s the only way she’s got a chance.
{When she reaches the ring she steps on the ring apron and with her back to the ropes does a rope assisted twirl over the ropes and then goes to her knees and lets out of the scream as she leans further back. She move to the opposite side and sits in the corner and waits.}
Amber Ashe: And her opponents…
{"Tell Me Where It Hurts" plays over the PA as Emma Danielson saunters out onto the ramp amid boos from the crowd. She smirks, dismissively waving off the crowd as she struts towards the ring.}
Amber Ashe: First, from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, weighing 157 pounds, Emma Danielson!
Eric Hardy: The new and improved Emma Danielson, or so she claims. I guess the question on everyone’s mind is really “why?”
Willy Carter: Why not? She got insulted all up and down for years, and when she did something she thought was good for her, they crapped on it.
{As she reaches the foot of the ramp, Emma speeds up, jumping and sliding beneath the bottom rope. She rolls to her feet, walking over to the corner, and leans back, closing her eyes and letting the crowd boo her as she waits for the match to begin.}
Amber Ashe: And her partner…
{The lights in the arena start to twinkle with the chorus of 'Skyfall' by Adele. Kathleen Conway appears on the stage with one hand on her right hip, and the other in the hand of her husband The Ace as he is beside her. She kisses him before the couple continues to walk down to the ramp, hand in hand, Kathy with a smile on her face.}
Amber Ashe: Being accompanied by The Ace, from Wichita, Kansas, weighing 123 pounds, Kathleen Conway!
Eric Hardy: Kathleen Conway’s been hounding Rose for weeks now, and this is it. Rose gets her hands on the wife of our Starlets Division head, even if it is in this kind of match.
Dave Holland: Yeah, but the question’s going to be how long does Kathy really spend in the match? She could just hide behind Danielson for most of the match if she wanted to. Not likely, but…
Willy Carter: If she wanted to, that’s a lot of beef to hide behind! DAMN!
{She gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee. She holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. She walks to the middle and flips her hair again with a hand on her hip as the lights return to normal and the music fades.}
Eric Hardy: Referee Johnnie Lei officiating this matchup, and this match is about to get underway!
{Kathy steps onto the apron, and Emma cracks her knuckles, apparently starting off for her team. Rose stands up and crouches against the buckle, waiting for the bell. When it rings, Rose and Emma charge into the center of the ring and start teeing off on each other, exchanging rights and lefts, elbows, all manner of bludgeoning strikes as the crowd roars. Emma blocks a right from Rose and rears back, delivering a huge headbutt that sends Rose staggering back. Emma grabs Acantha’s arm, Irish whipping her hard into the turnbuckle. Rose hits back-first, bouncing off and staggering into the center of the ring, where Emma meets her with a charging big boot straight to the face! Rose bounces off the canvas, and Emma raises a fist in the air, smirking down at the fallen Rose.}
Dave Holland: That was a vicious big boot from Emma Danielson! She’s got the early lead here, and it looks like it’s going to be a hunt for an opening for Rose from here on out.
{Emma loads for an elbow drop, delivering it straight to Rose’s sternum. Emma rolls back to her feet, hauling Acantha up by the hair, and cinches in a rear chinlock, driving the point of her knee into her back. Rose squirms, Emma shouting ”ASK HER!” as she leans back on the hold. This is met with an emphatically negative reaction from Rose, and Danielson hauls back even harder. Rose scrambles, trying to get her feet underneath her, and as she begins to rise, Emma just transitions into a bulldog to drop her back down. Danielson smirks, rolling out of the ring and fishing under the apron.}
Eric Hardy: And Danielson going to the plunder under the ring, no surprise there. She’s a hardcore expert, and in this match type it’s best to be the first one to start the weapons flying.
{Emma comes back out with a Singapore cane, rolling into the ring again. She winds up, aiming at Rose as she staggers to her feet. Danielson rears back for a huge strike, but Acantha kicks her in the gut, stopping her. Rose quickly capitalizes, toe kicking her again to drive her to a knee. Rose grabs the cane from Emma’s hands, delivering a brutal shot to the temple, and she follows it up by hitting the ropes and delivering a crushing SHINING WIZARD! Danielson backflips, crawling towards her corner, and Rose lunges forward, grabbing her ankle and hauling the larger woman into a vicious ankle lock!}
Eric Hardy: And now the first submission attempt from Rose Acantha! Could she get the surprise elimination early here?
Willy Carter: Crazy woman turnin’ things around!
{Emma struggles against the hold, grasping for the ropes. Rose wrenches on the maneuver, laying back into the hold, but Emma manages to roll with it and kick away at Acantha, loosening her grip. Emma dashes for the corner, tagging in Kathleen, and Conway ducks between the ropes, immediately hooking Acantha’s head and dropping her with a DDT! The fresh Conway kips up, hitting the ropes and dropping a knee to Rose’s back. Kathleen grabs the cane, laying into Rose’s back with a blistering hail of cane shots. After about a dozen, she tosses it aside and heads to the outside, grabbing a steel chair.}
Willy Carter: Looks like Kat Conway’s gonna be layin’ the smack down on Rose, baby! GIVE HER THE CHAIR!
Dave Holland: This is gonna get ugly.
{Kathy lays a brutal stomp into the knee of Rose, raising the chair and bringing it down hard. Emma drops off the apron as Kathy begins to lay in the shots, kneeling down and pulling out a table. She slides the table in, hopping back up on the apron as Kathy grabs Rose’s leg. She mockingly taunts Rose before hauling her into the center of the ring and wrapping her up in the Four Leaf Clover! Rose squirms in pain as the vicious submission hold bears down on her knee and shin! Referee Johnnie Lei drops down to check if Rose is ready to submit, and again he gets a loud declaration of defiance from Acantha.}
Eric Hardy: Rose doesn’t seem to have an ounce of quit in her! She’s scrabbling for the ropes!
{Rose drags herself closer and closer towards the bottom rope, using her hands, elbows, and even fingernails to eke out those millimeters of reach she needs to prolong her survival. However, the ropes are just too far out of reach. Rose is forced to look back into the grinning face of Kathleen Conway, and she grits her teeth before suddenly rearing her head back and spitting at her opponent! Kathy, shocked, moves to wipe her face off, and this provides just enough respite for Rose to twist her body first to one side, then the other before spinning out of the move entirely, much to the crowd’s delight!}
Eric Hardy: And the match is back on neutral footing! This has been frenetic, fast-paced action back and forth so far, but Rose still can’t quite overcome the numbers game. She needs to go big and go big soon.
{Kathy smirks, moving in and kicking Rose in the gut again. She double chickenwings her, twisting her around and setting her up in position for the Katastrophe. Rose manages to grit through the pain, however, and lift Kathleen up, delivering an atomic drop right onto her tailbone! Kathy bounces a bit, holding herself in pain, and Rose charges her, dropping her to a knee with a high knee strike! Acantha lands, hopping a bit, and grabs Kathleen by the hair, dragging Conway to her feet and ramming her face-first into the turnbuckle. Rose sees the table, a wicked look crossing her face, and Emma immediately begins to try to wave her off, begging her to not use the table.}
Dave Holland: Looks like Emma knows exactly what Rose can do with that table, and she’s going to be putting it to good—WHOA!
{As Holland speaks, Rose delivers a brutal elbow to Emma’s face, knocking her off the apron. Acantha picks up the table, walking out of the corner, and sets it up in the center of the ring. She grabs the chair, raising it high above her head, and delivers a brutal chairshot to Kathleen. Conway arches her back in agony, holding it and letting out an earsplitting cry of pain. Rose tosses the chair aside, smirking, and she grabs Kathy’s head once more. Rose drives her face into her knee, gritting her teeth as she slings her up onto her shoulders and drives Conway stomach-first onto her good knee, and barely manages to pull her up for the inverted headlock backbreaker that completes ROSE’S THREE STRIKES! Both women crumple to the mat, Kathleen holding her midsection and Rose clutching her knee.}
Eric Hardy: This match can’t end in a count-out. They’re going to have to get back up, and it looks like Kathleen’s going to have to tag in Emma Danielson so that she can recuperate.
Willy Carter: They’re goin’ hard, like two starving hobos fighting over a ham sammich! You gotta love it!
Eric Hardy: …that can’t have been English.
{Rose struggles towards the ropes as Kathy gets to her feet, both women clearly exhausted from the abuse they’ve received. Danielson pulls herself back up onto the apron, signaling to Kathleen to tag out. Kathy shakes her head, however, and shouts at her to watch and learn. Kathy turns back to Rose, kicking her in the gut…but Rose catches her foot! Kathy’s eyes go wide, and Rose grins, spinning Conway around before scooping her up onto her shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Rose screams for the Back to Reality, going to swing Kathy around. However, Kathy manages to catch Rose mid-move, countering out into the Kat Kall facebuster almost out of nowhere!}
Eric Hardy: What an incredible counter! From one high-impact maneuver to another, and both women have to be really reeling from the effects of this contest so far!
Dave Holland: Kathy needs to tag Emma now. She might have wanted to teach Rose a lesson there, but it’s too risky to stay in longer.
{Kathleen is the first to her feet, as Rose lays unmoving on the canvas. She beckons for Emma to enter the ring, and after a tense moment Danielson obliges. Kathy hauls Rose to her feet and shouts something at Emma. Danielson nods, and Kathleen pulls up Rose, holding her in position. Emma glances back to the ropes, rotating her right arm slowly and smirking at the crowd’s sudden surge of boos.}
Eric Hardy: Danielson being set up to hit the Brooklyn Hangover…this could be all she wrote for Rose Acantha if that move connects and puts her out!
Willy Carter: Kathy directing traffic around here. This is gonna get real ugly, real fast.
{Kathy holds Rose in position, and Emma glances back again before charging and hitting the ropes. She comes screaming in with the Brooklyn Hangover…
…
…but Rose drops down at the last second, rolling to the side as Emma inadvertently levels Kathy with the brutal lariat! The crowd bursts into a roar, and Emma shakes her head, spinning around to track Rose, trying to recover. As she spins about she’s met in the face with a speedy SEDATIVE SHOT out of nowhere! Emma flips backward over the top rope, face bouncing off of the canvas, and Rose quickly stalks Kathy, a surge of adrenaline flowing through her body. The moment Conway’s even a bit off the canvas, Rose slides in and clamps on the gogoplata half of the MENTAL HEALTH CHECK!}
Eric Hardy: MENTAL HEALTH CHECK! Rose found that mistake she was looking for, and she’s squeezing the life out of Kathleen Conway now!
Dave Holland: It looked like Emma hit her head going out of the ring there, she might be out too. Wouldn’t that be an incredible reversal of fortune!
{Kathy scrabbles and claws at the hold, desperately trying to get her feet on the ropes or break the hold. Rose, however, has managed to position herself between Conway and the ropes! Emma stirs on the floor, groggily rolling onto her side and flailing for the apron. Emma manages to finally get a grip and push herself up, just in time to see Kathy reluctantly slap the canvas. Lei turns and calls for the bell as Emma’s jaw drops in utter shock.}
Amber Ashe: Kathleen Conway has been eliminated!
Eric Hardy: Incredible! It’s one-on-one! Rose just might be able to pull this one off!
Willy Carter: Hey, just ‘cause she can’t get the elimination anymore doesn’t mean she isn’t gonna try to pull any other tricks out of her bag.
{Emma manages to slide back into the ring, getting to her feet as Rose celebrates. Kathy glares venomously at Rose before delivering an unexpected and vile shot below the waistline! Acantha doubles over, staggering back, and Emma immediately capitalizes, delivering a brutal kick to the gut. She grabs Rose in a gutwrench, noticing the fallen chair, and maneuvers over, bringing her up and sitting out for a HOLY DRIVER gutwrench piledriver on the chair! Rose bounces off the steel, eyes rolling back in her head as a trickle of blood begins to bead on her forehead, and Emma nods to Kathy, who rolls out of the ring at Dafoe’s loud insistence.}
Dave Holland: As if on cue. Kathleen clearly not happy with how things went down, so she swings the tide back in her team’s favor with that devastating low blow, and Emma capitalizes with a disgusting piledriver on the fallen steel chair!
{Emma walks over, signaling in a cutthroat motion, and grabs the almost comatose Rose by the legs, stepping through and crossing her legs. She smirks again before turning over fully and locking in the SHARPSHOOTER! Danielson hauls back on the deadly hold, screaming for Rose to tap out. Acantha twitches., the agony shooting through her already taxed leg and back. The tank is almost empty for Rose, and she claws for the ropes with all her might, blood dripping down her face. The movements become less and less frequent, however, and Norman Dafoe drops down, grabbing Rose’s wrist. He raises it…and it drops! Dafoe checks again…and a second drop! Emma smirks proudly as he checks for the third time…and her hand drops to the mat! He immediately turns and signals for the bell, Danielson not relinquishing the hold behind his back.}
Amber Ashe: Here are your winners, Kathleen Conway and Emma Danie—
Eric Hardy: What the hell is Kathy Conway doing?!
{Conway has slid back into the ring, grabbing the kendo stick, and locks in a modified version of her husband’s finishing Trente et Quarante hold, using the cane as extra leverage across Acantha’s throat. The bell rings repeatedly as Lei pries at Emma, trying to get her to release her half of the hold. Emma stands, doing so, and roughly shoves Johnnie back through the ropes. She calls for Kathy, who wrenches one last time on the hold before releasing it. Emma indicates the table, and Kathleen nods, grinning viciously. She steps out onto the apron, gripping the top rope firmly as Emma grabs the near-comatose Rose, hauling her up and Irish whipping her to the ropes. Kathy, rather unusually, jumps up, springboarding into the ring, and Emma flapjacks Rose up as Conway drops across the back of her head to drive Acantha’s body through the table with a brutal flapjack/FameAcer combination! The two immediately begin stomping away at her prone form in the wreckage as the audience showers them with pure hatred.}
Eric Hardy: This is sick! This is reprehensible! Can’t anyone stop those two evil women?!
Dave Holland: I don’t know, Eric…
{As the commentary team speculates, “Smile” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA, and the fans come unglued as Jennifer Williams sprints down from the back, a Singapore cane of her own in hand. Emma and Kathy bail, Jenny leaping into the ring and warding them off with fierce swipes of the cane. She defiantly stands over the form of Rose as Emma and Kathy stand shoulder to shoulder on the outside, tension between the three at a boiling point.}
Eric Hardy: It’s Jennifer Williams! We haven’t seen her in months, and here she is in the nick of time! And these fans are on their feet for the former Starlets Champion!
Willy Carter: J-Will…defending…Rose…THIS AIN’T COOL! THIS IS NOT COOL!
{Rose grabs at the ropes, barely stirring now. Jennifer quickly helps her to her feet, Rose gratefully putting an arm around Jennifer’s shoulders as Williams helps her maintain her bearings. Kathy and Jenny’s eyes lock, and there’s a tense staredown moment. Suddenly, a slow smile creeps across Jenny’s face, a smile which Kathy returns. Before Rose can react in her weakened state, Jenny lifts her up and spins around, dropping her into the EXECUTIVE DECISION onto the shattered remains of the table! The fan noise shifts mid-sound from rousing cheers to raucous booing as the two blondes slide back in, resuming what is now a three-on-one beatdown.}
Dave Holland: From savior to slayer! Jenny Williams has shocked everyone here by joining in on this heinous, this REPREHENSIBLE act of violence! The match’s already over, dammit! You don’t need to do this! Someone stop this or I will!
{Luckily for Holland, he doesn’t need to wait any longer. This time, “Forever Shamed” by Godsmack hits, and Nathan Webb barrels down the ramp with a chair, EMTs following him. He slides into the ring and the three women back against the ropes. Nathan menaces them, but the three women each quickly arm themselves, Emma and Jenny with canes and Kathy with the blood-splattered chair that had fallen in the ring earlier. There’s a tense standoff between the quartet, none of them wishing to make the first move.}
Eric Hardy: Nathan Webb, standing up for his friend against this pack of harpies! Not so tough when your opponent can fight back, are ya?!
Willy Carter: Unbiased reporting is the name of the game, Eric. Or did you forget that? AGAIN?
{Suddenly, yet another piece of music begins playing: “Skyfall” by Adele. A fresh chorus of boos kicks up for The Ace, who walks out onto the ramp with Callie Jacobsen by his side. Ace whispers into Callie’s ear, and she raises a microphone as the music fades.}
Callie Jacobsen: Girls…back off. That’s enough for now.
{After a few seconds, the trio drop their weapons and split, walking around the ring and back up the ramp. They join Ace and Jacobsen at the top of the ramp, and “Skyfall” plays the quintet out as they walk backstage. EMTs tend to Rose in the ring as Nathan kneels down, staring after the group with a look of vicious anger on his face.}
Eric Hardy: It looks like those four women are in league with each other…and taking orders from The Ace, no less! What a shocking twist! What does this mean for the future of the Starlets Division? They can’t just be allowed to run rampant like that!
Dave Holland: I agree, Eric. If ever there was a definition of abuse of power, that would be it. Anyone else pulling that stunt would have been fired. It looks like Kelly Fox isn’t the only one who can have their own group of attack dogs at their beck and call.
Willy Carter: You’re just jealous you don’t have all them fine ladies and Emma Danielson at your side. Now, back on track, suckas. We got a title match comin’ up next, but first that goon Mike Laszlo is gonna bore us some more.
Eric Hardy: Ever the bastion of unbiased and professional reporting, Willy…

Segment
Mike Laszlo "i will be heard"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike Laszlo: Tonight's the night...
{The scene fades in on Mike Laszlo sitting by himself in the middle of the lower bowl as NCW technicians are continuing setup of the Metamorphosis stage and ring. Mike appears calm as he sits back in the seat, his arms resting comfortably on the arm rests beside him.}
Mike Laszlo: Win or lose, this is my last chance to challenge Roberto Verona for the NCW title. Tonight, all the trash talk is done, the name calling is over.
{Mike looks up to the ceiling from which hangs the dreaded cell and the arrogant smile we've come accustom to draws slowly across his face.}
Mike Laszlo: Tonight, we do battle in that cell and we find out once and for all who the better man truly is. Tonight we find out that I am worthy and capable of becoming the new NCW CHAMPION!!!
{The scene fades.}
Eric Hardy: Strong words from the number on conetender
Willy Carter: From a contender to a title match....
Dave Holland: That's right time for the ladder match
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NCW X-Title Ladder Match
Alex Jones(c) Vs. Seth Evans
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The lights shut off as the theme song from SAW comes overt the PA, as we come to the height of the song the song it suddenly stops.
BREAK!
Blue smock nancy's "unsettling differences" blasts out as a spotlight shines on the entranceway. Alex Jones emerges wearing a black shirt with "prince of perfection" written on it.The X-title over his shoulder. He walks down to the ring and leaps onto the apron sliding across it before getting into the ring and leaping onto the second rope instigating the crowd. }
Amber Ashe: Now coming to the ring standing six foot tall and weighing two hundred and twenty pounds, he is the reigning X champion Alex Jones!
Eric Hardy: Alex Jones has had a career resurgence
Dave Holland: But his attitude has turned I've never seen Alex this selfish or angry
Willy Carter: I love this new attitude....
{Row by row, the lights throughout the arena all go out. The music has not begun to play. During the black-out, mist has started filling around the stage. It seems to take forever, but is merely just a few seconds until the instruments of "Stand Up" by All That Remains kick in, and the lights begin to flicker until a single spotlight shines up at the top of the stage, shining through the mist to reveal Seth Evans standing there with his arms out to his side, staring out toward the crowd that is cheering for him. A smile on his face, satisfied with the cheers that he is receiving while nodding his head.}
I know no one had ever dreamed that,
We were this strong, and we'd achieve this,
So long the doubt, and all believed it,
And now it's come for all to see, yeah.
{With one swift movement, he punches his fist forward toward the camera in front of him and lunges himself forward before turning his attention back out to the crowd. Walking toward the ring, ready to compete, ready to prove himself. He wastes little time to get into the ring, by sprinting when he reaches the end of the ramp and sliding underneath the bottom rope to get inside the ring. As soon as he's in the ring, he jumps to his feet and goes to the nearest turnbuckle, pointing out to the crowd and giving them a thumbs up. Just by this symbol, the crowd gives him a louder pop and he claps his hands together to applaud the fans as a means to thank them for his support. He jumps from the turnbuckle, spinning 180 degrees, and landing back on his feet in the ring, and waiting for the sound of the bell.}
Amber Ashe: And his opponent, hailing from Miami, Florida, Seth Evanssssss!!!!
Dave Holland: Seth Evans has been fighting for respect
Eric Hardy: And he's been doing a great job
Willy Carter: I hate this kid....
{Alex Jones hands the X title to the official who wraps it around a hook, the hook raises as Alex and Seth eye each other off, the bell rings and they circle around, they lock up, Alex pushes against Seth and shoves him into the corner, Seth pushes back and grabs Alex's wrist and has a top wristlock, Alex drops to one knee before rolling forward and then kipping straight up and reversing the pressure into a hammerlock, Alex ducks down and picks the leg causing Seth to fall back. Seth kicks Alex off into the ropes and gets to his feet, he hits an arm drag on Alex as both men get up, Seth runs forward and gets hit with a japanese armdrag, Alex kips up and spins around arrogantly smirking at Seth who gets to his feet.}
Eric Hardy: Alex proving to be just as quick as Seth
Dave Holland: Seth usually has that as an advantage over others but not this time
Willy Carter: Great start
{The two men stare each other down. They go to lock up but Alex buries his knee into Seth’s midsection and a hard right hand sending him down, Alex sits Seth up and hits a swift kick to the back. Alex moves around Seth measuring him up, as Seth gets to his feet Alex hits Seth with a hard kick to the thigh and quickly hooks Seth up in a suplex, he snaps Seth over before rolling his hips and standing up, Alex hits a standing switch and german suplex’s seth over before rolling his hips again, Alex hooks Seth’s arm over his head and hits a belly to back suplex before kipping up yet again to a chorus of boo’s. Alex pulls Seth up, Seth starts a fight back with a shot to the stomach, and another and another, Seth runs to the ropes but Alex leaps up with a high kick sending Seth down. }
Eric Hardy: Seth tried to come back and mount some offense
Willy Carter: Alex just beat him down
Dave Holland: Seth has this crowd behind him..that has to count for something....
{Alex slides from the ring and grabs a ladder, as he turns to slide it back in the ring seth runs at Alex and hits a baseball slide kicking the ladder into Alex. Alex crumbles to the floor outside holding his ribs as Seth slides from the ring to grab a ladder of his own, he slides it in the ring and sets it up and he starts climbing. As he gets halfway up Alex slides in and pulls Seth down, instantly Seth fights Alex off with rights and lefts, as Alex stumbles back Seth plants one leg on the second rung of the ladder and leaps up hitting a hurricanrana on Alex sending him across the ring and under the bottom rope. Seth starts climbing again and again Alex slides in and pulls Seth back down before ducking and taking Set down, as both men land Alex starts hammering down rights and lefts, Alex gets to his feet and grabs the ladder seth kicked into him and slams it into Seth’s stomach. }
Willy Carter: The ladders really coming into play now
Eric Hardy: They always do...
Dave Holland: I thought they were meant for climbing.....
{Alex slides from the ring and grabs a taller ladder, he slides it in the ring and grabs another one sliding that in too, he climbs up onto the apron and waits for Seth to get to his feet. Alex jumps up and springboards off going for a crossbody, Seth leaps up and catches Alex with a dropkick causing Alex to fall straight down onto one of the ladders, Seth gets to his feet and sets a ladder up in the corner, he then grabs one of the larger ladders and sets it up under the belt. Alex gets to his feet, Seth whips Alex towards the ladder in the corner, Alex runs up the ladder and backflips off over a charging Seth Evans, Alex hits a stiff kick to Seth’s chest followed by one to the leg and another to the chest, Alex jumps and goes for a spinning heel kick, Seth catches Alex and throws him over his head crashing into the ladder back first breaking the smaller ladder sending the crowd into a frenzy}
Eric Hardy: Alex may be broken!
Willy Carter: Seth Evans has a chance right now
Dave Holland: Alex looks to still be in pain.
{Seth starts to make his way up the large ladder, he gets to the top when Alex follows him up, Alex leaps off the third rung up and grab’s Seth’s head bringing him backwards with a sleeper style slam into the mat below. Seth’s head bounces off the mat as both men stay down. Alex pulls himself up, Seth follows and runs at Alex, Alex ducks down throws Seth in the air and as Seth comes down Alex kicks Seth in the chest. Alex slides from the ring and grabs a large ladder for himself and slides it in he sets it up and grabs a smaller ladder making a bridge between the two. }
Dave Holland: What the hell is Alex doing?
Eric Hardy: I have no idea
Willy Carter: It uh....looks dangerous....
{ Alex clotheslines Seth Evans over the top rope, he then gets a run up slingshotting himself across the ring and under the ladder bridge before throwing himself over the top rope onto Seth Evans onto the floor. After a few moments Alex gets to his feet and slides in, he slowly pulls himself up the ladder, Seth makes his way into the ring and starts on the opposite ladder, both men stare at each other, they start throwing rights and lefts, Alex grabs Seth and goes to lift him in a suplex, Seth blocks it and hooks Alex’ arm before hitting a michinoku driver through the ladder bridge causing the ladder to break. The crowd makes a shocked noise as they chant “holy ****”. }
Eric Hardy: Alex may be broken in half!
Willy Carter: The ladder is....
Dave Holland: This is nuts!
{Seth pulls himself up as Alex lies broken on the mat. Seth pulls himself to his feet and starts to pull himself up the ladder. The crowd starts to chant “seth” over and over again as he pulls himself gingerly up to the middle of the ladder. }
Dave Holland: Seth Evans could do this!
{Seth reaches the top of the ladder and reaches for the gold, Alex springboards off the top rope kicking the ladder from underneath Seth who crashes to the mat. Alex says “that’s it” as Seth gets to his feet, Alex ducks down and picks Seth up for the TBS, he throws Seth in the air and connects his knee with the back of Seth’s head, Alex smirks and stumbles back leaning on the ropes before making the climb, as he gets to the top seth grabs the bottom rung in vain reaching for Alex as he unhooks the belt}
Eric Hardy: Alex does it!
Dave Holland: A great showing from Seth
Willy Carter: But Alex showed his class....
Eric Hardy: Next up we have the tag team title match
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NCW Tag Team Title Match
Team Amurika(C) vs. Stereo Black
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{"Good Morning" by Chamillionaire hits on the PA and A.C. Douglas and Todd Williams part the curtain to big boos. Douglas motions for the crowd to shut up,and he and Todd talk strategy as they walk down the aisle and enter the ring.}
Eric Hardy: This brand new tag team has a golden opportunity tonight.
Willy Carter: No, Eric, this team is about to WIN the tag team titles!
Dave Holland: That remains to be seen.
"Born in the U.S.A." blares over the PA and soon enough, Simon Daye runs out from the back, followed afterward by Gib, Tag titles around their waists. Simon rushes down to the ring, while Gib slowly makes his way down as well. They climb into the ring, and hold their belts up to the cheers of the audience.}
Eric Hardy: Team America has been a great tag team in NCW's history.
Willy Carter: But you know what, that all is coming to an end tonight.
{The Bell sounds as A.C. and Gib step out to their respective corners. Todd and Simon circle each other for a moment, then lock up, and Simon shoots into a side headlock. He cranks on it, as if he’s churning butter, and Todd drops to a knee. Quickly regaining his vertical base, Todd backs Daye into the ropes and tries to shoot him off, but Daye keeps the headlock and pulls Todd back to the center. Simon continues to crank on the hold, and Todd again backs into the ropes, but this time holds on, forcing Norman Dafoe to step in and break the headlock. Simon breaks, smirking at Todd. The two circle again and lock up, and this time it’s Williams with a side headlock. Simon struggles, but soon reverses into a hammer lock, then applies and armbar. Todd leans his forearm into Daye’s chin and backs him into the ropes, before getting closer and shooting Simon off into the ropes. On the rebound. Simon takes Todd down with a shoulder block. Simon hits the ropes closest to his corner and Todd rolls onto his stomach, forcing Simon to jump over. On the rebound, Todd attempts a hiptoss, but Simon blocks. Another attempt, another block. Thinking quickly, Todd fires a quick strike to Simon’s gut, doubling him over. Todd places his leg on Daye’s head and backflips off of it, before tripping Simon with a drop toe hold. Williams seamlessly floats into a grounded head lock, cranking it himself, before Simon is able to counter with a head scissors. Todd kips up out of the scissors, and Daye rolls towards his corner, before standing back up. The crowd applauds.}
Eric Hardy: Excellent chain wrestling by Todd and Simon Daye.
Willy Carter: Todd could have easily embarrassed Simon right there, but he chose not to.
Dave Holland: I don’t know, if I was scoring this match, Simon would be ahead.
Willy Carter: That’s ridiculous! If you wanna score this on points, Todd is WAY ahead.
{Simon looks ready to go again, but Todd tags in A.C. Douglas. The crowd boos as Douglas enters and prepares to lock up with Daye. He does so, and immediately overpowers Simon and fires him into a neutral corner with a shove. More boos as A.C. flexes in front of Daye, who seems less than impressed. Another lock up and A.C. applies a headlock to Simon. Daye instantly backs into the ropes and shoots A.C. off. On the Rebound, A.C. bowls over Simon with a shoulder block. More boos as Simon rolls away clutching the back of his head. Simon then nods, calmly walks over and tags in Gib. }
Eric Hardy: And here comes Gib!
Willy Carter: Uh-oh.
Dave Holland: If A.C. Douglas wants to test his strength, here’s a man to do it.
{Gib steps in with a smile on his face and circles before locking up with A.C.. Gib locks in a side headlock of his own, and he cranks it. Douglas fires some shots to Gib’s abdomen before, in an impressive display of strength, lifts the over 300 pound Gib up and takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex!}
Willy Carter: Oh yeah!
Eric Hardy: Wow. What strength by Douglas.
{A.C. Looks pleased as Gib clutches him back and gets up. The two big men lock up again and A.C. this time applies a headlock. Gib raises a finger to the sky as if to say “watch this” before lifting A.C. up like a child, and tossing him to the mat a few feet away! Gib smiles, as A.C. looks bewildered and embarrassed.}
Eric Hardy: And Gib just tossed A.C. Douglas like a small boy!
Dave Holland: The man’s an ox.
Willy Carter: What?! No!
{A.C. stands and demands a test of strength. Openly mocking Gib, trying to get him to take the challenge. Gib nods in agreement, and the two lock fingers, A.C.’s right, Gib’s left, then the opposite. The two struggle up a moment to gain control and then the arms go up, and A.C. appears to be winning.}
Willy Carter: Yeah!
{A.C. tries mightily to get Gib broken down, but Gib will not fall. His knees bend slightly, but he remains on his feet. Gib gets back to fully standing, in an effort to power his way back. Gib stands fully, and begins to use his height as leverage and A.C. begins to crumble, but at the last second kicks Gib in the gut, doubling him over and drawing boos. Douglas fires off forearms to Gib’s back and drives him a knee. He grabs Gib by the head and leads him to the A.C./Todd corner and tags Todd. Todd jumps to the top rope and comes down with an axe handle, staggering Gib. Todd then begins kicking at Gib’s quad, trying to drop him. Gib backs into a corner and Todd charges with fists. Gib fights back, pushing Todd away. Todd comes right back with more fists and kicks to the leg. Gib again pushes Todd away, and again Todd comes right back, but Gib catches Todd in the face with a boot. Gib quickly makes the tag to Simon, who comes in and clotheslines Todd as he stands. Todd slowly gets back up, and Simone chops him and Todd falls back in the Team America corner. Daye drapes Todd’s arms over the top rope and unleashes a chop. Then another. Then another. Then one more, and Todd staggers away. Simon grabs him, but Todd grabs a handful of hair and spins Simon against the ropes, before whipping him off. Gib complains to Dafoe about the handful, which enables A.C. Douglas to low bridge Simon and send him sprawling out onto the floor.}
Eric Hardy: And A.C. Douglas goes to the shortcut.
Willy Carter: Nonsense! Simon is clearly just clumsy. He fell out of the ring because he’s uncoordinated.
Dave Holland: You are reaching.
Willy Carter: Don’t judge me.
{Todd at this point has exited the ring, and lifted Simon to his feet. He drapes Simon’s arm over his back and waistlocks him, then drives Simon back-fist to the apron. Then again. Then one more time before Daye falls back down clutching his back. Todd lifts Simon back up and tosses him back inside before dragging Simon towards his corner and tagging Douglas back in. Todd stomps Simon’s back as he leaves. Simon slowly gets back up before A.C. grabs him and shoots a forearm into his back. Then again. Daye drops to his knees and Douglas drives a forearm into his back again. Simon groans in pain as Douglas then simply WALKS on his back. Simon crawls to the ropes to get back up, but is stopped by multiple kicks square in the back. Simon’s arms fall limp over the middle rope and A.C. plants his foot in Daye’s back and pulls back on the top rope. Dafoe instantly begins the count 1…2…..3…..4….And Douglas breaks. Simon falls back onto the mat and Douglas covers 1…2…kickout. Douglas grabs Daye in a front headlock and nails a few forearms to the back before attempting to lead Simon back to his corner. Daye fires some right hands to the gut of Douglas, then some punches to the head. Douglas reels back from the blows and Simon attempts an Irish whip. Douglas reverses, and shoots Daye in. Douglas attempts a clothesline, but Simon ducks. He spins around and hits more punches to A.C.’s face. Simon kicks him in the gut and pulls him into piledriver position. Daye lifts, but his back is still injured. A.C. quickly recovers, kicks Simon in the gut, and hooks him in suplex position. He lifts, and holds. After about 15 seconds, Douglas drops with his delayed vertical suplex, and he floats into the cover 1…2.3 Kickout! }
Eric Hardy: And another near-fall for The team of A.C. Douglas and Todd Williams.
Dave Holland: If Simon does not tag Gib back in very quickly, this match isn’t going to last much longer.
{Douglas lifts Simon to his feet, shooting some forearms to keep him groggy, and leads Daye to the corner, and tag Todd back in. A.C. holds Simon in a front face lock, as Todd comes off the top with another axe handle. Daye drops to his knees and clutches his back as Todd picks him back up. Todd cinches up Simon for a suplex, and takes him over. Simon howls in pain, and another cover. 1..2….Daye rolls the shoulder. Todd motions to Norman about the speed of the count, but Dafoe reassures Todd is was a 2. Todd moves back in and attacks Daye with another kick to the spine. Daye yells before getting back to his feet with the aid of the ropes. A solid forearm shot send Daye to a neutral corner where Todd whips Daye as hard as he can across the ring. Simon hits the corner hard and face-plants from the force. The crowd audibly moans along with Simon. Todd comes over and steps on Daye’s back and stands there, holding the top rope. Dafoe again counts 1…2….3..4.. And Todd breaks. Todd drags Simon towards his corner and tags Douglas back in. A.C. Steps in and shoots Simon off with a whip. Douglas puts his head down for a back drop, but Simon scouts it, and hooks Douglas and delivers the “Good” DDT!}
Eric Hardy: Counter by Simon!
Dave Holland: He’s got to make that tag now!
Willy Carter: C’mon A.C.!
{Neither man is moving as Norman Dafore begins his count 1……2…..3…..4…..5….6…..7. Douglas moves, he staggers up, and Simon is now crawling towards Gib. He’s just about there when Douglas nails Gib, which draws him into the ring. Norman tries to hold Gib back, which allows Douglas to pull Simon back towards his corner and drop an elbow on Daye’s spine.}
Eric Hardy: And this is getting dire now for Simon Daye.
Dave Holland: A.C. Douglas did the smart thing, and prevented a tag. It’s obviously the game plan, keep Simon Daye in the ring.
Willy Carter: They are so good.
{A.C. tags Todd back in and A.C. holds Simon on place on his stomach on the mat, as Todd hits the ropes, tumbles and connects with the “Star power” across the back of Simon. Dafoe ushers A.C. out of the ring, all while Williams has Daye pinned.}
Willy Carter: That stupid referee!
Eric Hardy: After all the cheating done by Douglas and Williams?
Willy Carter: There’s a pinfall going on!
{Dafoe finally turns around, and sees the pinfall, he dives into position. 1….2…GIB PULLS TODD OFF! Dafoe now has to usher Gib out of the ring allowing Douglas to sneak in as he and Todd attack. They whip Simon in, and both kick him in the gut on the rebound. They go for a double suplex, but Simon elbows both men out of desperation, causing them to straighten, Simon grabs both men and hits A DOUBLE DAYE BREAK!}
Eric Hardy: Double Daye Break! What a counter by Simon Daye!
Willy Carter: No!
{A.C. rolls out of the ring, on the impact. And Todd is down, and seemingly out. Simon too, does not move. Dafoe starts his count 1……….2………3……..4……..5……...6……..7 by this point, A.C. is back on the apron with one arm extended, the other holding his head from the Daye Break. Todd has begun to crawl to him. The crowd is stomping and clapping as Simon ever so slowly crawls towards Gib. }
Eric Hardy: The race is on! Who will make the tag first?
{Inch by inch.}
Eric Hardy: These men are exhausted..
{Todd reaches up and tags A.C. }
Willy Carter: Yes!
{A.C .quickly comes in, trying to stop Simon}
Willy Carter: Get him!
{But he’s too late as SIMON MAKES THE TAG!}
Willy Carter: Oh no!
{Gib, fresh as a daisy enters, and points at A.C. the crowd yells “YOU!” A.C. attempts a right hand but it’s blocked, and Gib drops him with a headbutt. Todd comes in and gets clotheslined for his troubles. A.C. is back up and he swings and misses with a clothesline Gib catches him from behind and nails him with an atomic drop! Todd comes in with a jumping forearm that stuns Gib, allowing Todd to continue striking Gib with all he’s got. A.C. gets back up and joins Todd in the attack, they whip Gib into the ropes, but on the rebound they attempt a double clothesline and Gib ducks. Their momentum takes them near the ropes, but as they turn around, Gib clotheslines both of them over the top rope!}
Eric Hardy: Gib is on fire here!
Willy Carter: Come on, guys!
{Simon comes back in and whispers something to Gib. Gib nods as Simon hits the ropes behind him. Gib turns, and catches Simon, presses him over his head and throws him onto A.C. and Todd on the floor!}
Eric Hardy: Great teamwork by Team America!
{Simon slowly stands and tosses A.C. back into the ring to a waiting Gib. Todd slowly gets up, and sees Simon getting back into the ring, so he nails Simon in the back and throws him into the steel steps!}
Eric Hardy: And Simon Daye may have just been removed from this tag match!
Willy Carter: Good!
Dave Holland: But Gib is still ready to go!
{A.C. stands and walks into another Gib headbutt. Stunned, he stumbles into the vacant Team America corner. Gib moves in, but then he drops as Todd Williams comes in with a chop block to the knee! Gib falls clutching his leg, as Todd begins to stomp on it. A.C. recovers and continues the attack, as Dafoe escorts Todd out of the ring. Douglas lifts Gib to his feet, and then scoops up the mammoth Gib and body slams him. After another stomp, Douglas pulls Gib to his knees, but Gib fires off punches to A.C.’s gut. Gib begins to drive A.C. back, and gets back up, but A.C. kicks him in the knee, then hits a lightning quick Rearranged! (Kneeling DDT) A.C. makes the cover, but Gib rolls the shoulder out at 2. Todd extends his hand for a tag, and A.C. goes for it, but Simon Daye comes back and pulls Todd off the apron, and Todd hits face-first on the apron!}
Eric Hardy: How is Simon Daye even standing?
{ Simon slides back in and begins to fight with A.C. and the two trade punches. Simon gets the better and goes for a whip, but A.C. reverses, and brings Simon back into a Samoan Drop! Simon howls in pain and he rolls out of the ring. A.C. stands, smirks and goes back over to Gib who is just getting back up. A.C. Grabs Gib, but is NAILED by a right hand knockout punch from Gib!}
Willy Carter: NO!
Eric Hardy: He just knocked A.C. Douglas’s block off!
Team America wins
{Gib stands and waits for a groggy A.C. to do so as well. Todd Williams slides back into the ring and charges an unsuspecting Gib only to be met and Clothesline from Simon Daye! Todd rolls out of the ring, leaving A.C. alone. He stands, and Gib scoops him onto his shoudlers and delivers the HOMELESS HARPOON! Douglas rebounds and walks into another DAYE BREAK! Gib moves the cover 1…2…..3!}
Eric Hardy: Team America has done it again!
Willy Carter: NOOOOOOOO!
Dave Holland: Calm down there Darth.
Willy Carter: Shut up Holland! Shut your big, stupid face!
{ Gib rolls off of Douglas and to the outside where Team America collects their tag belts. Their music plays as they walk back up the ramp as Todd checks on A.C.}
Eric Hardy: Team America earns a hard fought victory once again at Metamophasis!
Willy Carter: How exciting now onto a bloody grudge match between Xander and Webb!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xtreme Match
Xander Famularo Vs. Nate Webb
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Potions by Puscifer begins to play, Xander walks to the ring and awaits his opponent}
Eric Hardy: I would love...LOVE just once for Xander to show some emotion
Willy Carter: He's a cyborg Hardy...he just destroys...
Fave Holland: He's also a human being damnit
{ "Forever Shamed" by Godsmack blares through the arena loudspeaker which is them simultaneously accompanied by a wall of pyro. After the pyro goes down Nathan is shown standing on the entrance ramp along with Rose Acantha standing at Nathan's side. Both proceed down the ramp at a methodical pace and entering the ring before climbing a corner and raising his hands, Xander comes from his side of the ring and shoves Webb to the floor}
Eric Hardy: Again?!?!?!?!
Dave Holland: Second time in two weeks he's attacked him before the bell
Willy Carter: I think Xander dislikes him....
{Xander follows Webb out of the ring and starts hammering him with right hands. Webb covers up as Xander hammers him down, the ref tells Xander to get it in the ring, Xander does so, but after rolling Webb into the ring he throws him into the corner,Xander starts stomping into webb while holding onto the top rope. The referee pulls Xander back and admonishes him for not creating distance. Xander puts his hands up as Webb stumbles from the corner, Xander ducks down and picks Webb up before slamming him down with a powerslam. Xander gets to his feet with a smirk on his face as Webb holds his back moaning in pain. Xander walks back into the corner and calls for webb to get up, as he does Xander explodes with amazing speed into Webb with a high shoulder tackle. }
Eric Hardy: Xander is a special kind of athlete
Willy Carter: Agreed...size, strength and cat like reflexes
{Xander gets to his feet and pulls Webb up as well before lifting webb onto his shoulder, Xander points at the corner and runs Webb headhirst into the turnbuckle with the harpoon, Webb falls to the mat as Xander shows him no respect dropping him like a sack of potatoes. Xander says that's it and pulls webb up, he calls for the mushroom cloud picking webb up, as Xander runs towards the turnbuckle webb flips his head back throwing Xander across into the turnbuckle face first. Xanders face crashes into the turnbuckle and Webb quickly skips across the ring with his blinding speed and as Xander turns around Webb connects with a running knee to Xanders face that forces the former world champion to the outside, webb again springs to his feet and runs across then ring and through the ropes onto xander as the crowd cheers }
Eric Hardy: Suicide dive!
Dave Holland: What a move from Nate webb!
{Webb gets to his feet and pulls Xander up rolling him into the ring, as Xander gets to his feet webb springb oards off the top rope into the ring going for a crossbody, Xander catches Webb and shows his amazing power body slamming webb down. Xander pulls webb to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Webb comes off the ropes with a flying forearm hitting xander square in the jaw. Webb builds up momentum running to the ropes with a clothesline, then a leaping kick, then another kick, Webb slams his fist on his chest, webb climbs to the top rope and leaps off going for the shooting star leg drop, Xander rolls out of the way and somewhow webb aborts the move landing on his feet. }
Eric Hardy: Webb landed on his feet!
Willy Carter: He's crazy!
{Webb runs to the ropes again using his speed to get around Xander, as he comes back off the ropes he runs right into the widowmaker right hand!, Webb crumbles to the mat as Xander shakes off the cobwebs, Xander then pulls webb to his feet and hits the metal health for the one two three}
Eric Hardy: Webb tried so hard
Willy Carter: But Xander is a straight beast yo!
Dave Holland: I'm excited for the next match guys, a National title rematch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dragons Den for the NCW National Title
Andrew Jacobsen(C) vs. Jake "The Ace" Conway
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We hear Amber Ashe who is stood by the timekeeper at ringside as we focus on the impressive barbwire dome that is the signature match of Metamorphosis - the Dragon's Den, with all manner of weapons hung from its walls and its ceiling.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is A DRAGON'S DEN MATCH scheduled for one fall, and it for THE NCW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Eric Hardy: We are just moments away from one of the staple attractions here in NCW...
Dave Holland: The Dragon's Den. A match conceived from one of the most sick and twisted minds in all of professional wrestling...my friend, and fellow NCW legend...Spike Kane...
Willy Carter: Some would say, Spike Kane might have invented it, but his mentor, The Ace perfected it....and you can count me amongst those men...
{The opening trumpet brings the lights of the arena down to pitch black, and as the soft piano kicks in, our attention is drawn to the blinking amber lights of a Spade symbol in the darkness. As the lyrics to 'Skyfall' by Adele kick in, a s single white spotlight eliminates the circular platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us, the platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel.
This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the Earth move and then
Hear my heart burst again
For this is the end
I've drowned and dreamt this moment
So overdue I owe them
Swept away I'm stolen...
Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and as the chorus is reached, the lights in the arena start to flash yellow and cards begin to fall from the rafters.
Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together...
The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and motioning for someone to step forward, slowly Emma Danielson appears by the Ace's side, carrying a large folded ladder in one hand and the couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards.
Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together
At sky fall
At sky fall
Sky fall is where we start
A thousand miles and poles apart
Where worlds collide and days are dark
At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as The Ace instructs Emma to take the ladder into the Den.
You may have my number
You can take my name
But you'll never have my heart
The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Emma enters the Den and props the fifteen foot ladder into the corner, against the turnbuckle. The Ace climbs the steel steps towards the ropes and steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air.
Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together...
The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring, Emma helping him to remove his jacket as the song fades, the lights return to normal. Emma puts the folded jacket over one arm and carries it out of the ring, and out of the den.}
Eric Hardy: It seems that The Ace has brought some sort of insurance policy with him tonight.
Willy Carter: Are you talking about Emma Danielson or the ladder? Why bring a ladder anyway?
Dave Holland: The Ace is a smart man and I can tell you exactly why he brought a ladder into this match, obviously it is to reach some of the weapons that have been suspended from the walls and the ceiling of this structure that would be otherwise out of reach unless you somehow managed to scale the barbed wire wrapped around the steel walls of this barbaric structure.
Eric Hardy: Not to mention, the ladder itself can be used as a weapon and its all legal.
Willy Carter: So we're all just going to ignore the obvious fact that The Ace's wife, Kathy is not here supporting her husband tonight?
{A loud air raid siren screams out as the fans erupt into cheers. As the main guitar riff of "Indestructible" hits, Andrew Jacobsen comes striding onto the ramp, National Championship around his waist. Danielle Chase follows him out for the first time in a long time, seemingly having not missed a beat. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, making a gun shape with his hand, and pulls his thumb across his throat as a mass of red and green pyro goes off behind him. Jacobsen walks down the ramp with Chase, interacting with some of the fans at ringside, and eyes the Den warily. He climbs up onto the apron, stepping into the Den, and walks to a corner, climbing it and unbuckling the National Championship to hoist it high over his head as the crowd cheers him. Andrew turns around, hopping down, and slings the belt over his shoulder, waiting for the match to begin. Both men get nose to nose in the middle of the ring.}
Eric Hardy: Here is the current reigning and defending National Champion, Andrew Jacobsen...
Dave Holland: Accompanied by the still lovely if seldom seen, Danielle Chase...
Willy Carter: Compared to Emma, she's easier on the eyes at least...
Amber Ashe: Introducing first...the challenger, he is a former NCW World Heavyweight and former two time NCW National Champion, from Birmingham, England, weighing 246 pounds...THE AAAACE!
{The crowd boo mercilessly.}
Amber Ashe: And his opponent...from Minneapolis, Minnesota...weighing 235 pounds...he is a former NCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the current reigning and defending NCW National Champion...ANDRRREW JACOBSSSEN!
The crowd cheer.
{Mitch Kennedy steps to the side and leans over the ropes instructing a second referee on the outside to shut the door to the den, which he does so, padlocking it. Meanwhile inside the ring The Ace reaches out and grabs the National Championship from Andrew Jacobsen. He looks down at the title for a moment, before he raises it above his head and thrusts it forward right into Jacobsen's forehead, immediately cutting him open. Andrew goes down as the crowd boo, The Ace drops to his knees and starts pummeling AJ in the side of the head with piston-like right hands.}
Eric Hardy: The Ace is not wasting any time here...
Dave Holland: This isn't going to be a classic wrestling contest, this is going to be a fight, pure and simple...
Willy Carter: I'm not sure if anyone wants to get into a straight up fight with a man as sadistic as The Ace...
{Mitch Kennedy finally turns around, and signals for the bell to officially start the contest. The bell rings. The Ace then starts to choke Andrew with a hand around his throat, taking full advantage of the no DQ circumstances of the match. The Ace then jumps to his feet and bows for the crowd who reign down their boos upon him. The Ace just laughs and spots Emma pacing outside the Den, and he winks at her. The Ace then grabs Jacobsen by the head, pulling him to his knees, slowly and deliberately, methodically taking his time and dictating the pace. However the veteran has taken too much time, and Andrew low blows The Ace, causing him to hunch over and Andrew follows up with a snap DDT. Andrew then takes the precious time he needs to regain his bearings and get back into the match. Andrew kips up to his feet much to the crowd's delight. Andrew seizes his advantage and drags The Ace to his feet, spinning him around and locking his hands around The Ace's waist, and hits a German Suplex, Andrew keeps his hands locked around his opponent's waist, rolls the hips and hits a second. Andrew tries for a third to complete one of his signature moves, but The Ace strikes Andrew in the face with an elbow, then a second and a third, the third elbow forcing Andrew to stumble back and clutch his nose. The Ace then grabs Andrew's head in a front facelock looking to drive AJ's face into the mat with an Ace-Plant, Steve senses this and immediately twists out of it and steps back. Both men stare at each other, impressed and The Ace extends his hand in offer of a handshake but Andrew knows better and instead answers with a Lights Out Superkick straight to The Ace's jaw!}
Eric Hardy: Lights Out! Lights Out!
Dave Holland: Could it really be over this quickly?
Willy Carter: Andrew is scrambling for the pin...
{Andrew is indeed going for the pin...1...2...The Ace gets a shoulder up. Rather than get too frustrated, Andrew presses his advantage and gets Ace to his feet, before he irish whips him across the ring and on the rebound catches him with a vicious Arn Anderson style spine buster in the middle of the ring. With Conway down, Jacobsen leaves the ring, looking up and sees a white steel chair with a Spade symbol painted across it, hanging on the wall across of him, right next to a steel roulette rake. From the platform, Andrew reaches up and grabs the customised steel chair. The Ace sees this and just as Andrew has pulled it down, The Ace makes his way out on to the platform too and ducks a swing, instead nailing Andrew with a super kick of his own. Andrew's eyes are rolled back in his head as he falls backward into the barbwire and steel of the chamber wall. Andrew is bleeding from the back of his head but still standing, supported by the chamber wall, dropping the chair. The Ace grabs the steel chair and a woozy AJ walks straight into the shot across the face, going down immediately on the platform outside. The Ace enters the ring, leaving Andrew outside on the platform.}
Dave Holland: Fast paced action here...
Eric Hardy: These men are almost mirror images of one another in their offence here...
Willy Carter: What the hell is Ace planning here?
{The Ace goes over to the ladder that Emma Danielson had left propped up in the corner, and lifts it carrying it to the centre of the ring, he sets it up and looks up towards the aluminium poker chip case that is dangling above him from the ceiling. The Ace climbs the ladder, when he gets to the top, he grabs the case with both hands. Meanwhile Jacobsen is back to his feet and slides into the ring, snatching the ladder from underneath The Ace's feet, leaving the veteran dangling from the case with nowhere to go. Andrew then climbs the nearest turnbuckle, and jumps off towards The Ace with a spear. The Ace falls off, holding the case which has now flung open due to the impact and inside the den it is raining poker chips and playing cards as The Ace crumples to the canvas. The crowd jump to their feet chanting 'THAT WAS AWESOME!' 'THAT WAS AWESOME!'}
Eric Hardy: MY GOD WHAT A SPEAR!
Dave Holland: THE ACE MAY BE BROKEN IN HALF!
Willy Carter: The ACE HIMSELF JUST FELL FROM THE SKY!
{Andrew gets to his feet and slowly goes over to the opposite side of the ring, climbing out and grabbing a wooden table, that was leant up casually against the steel wall of the Den, he sets it up next to the wall and climbs on top of it, using it as a platform to reach a baseball bat that was otherwise just hung out of reach. Andrew retrieves the bat, and a black steel chair that was wrapped in barbed wire next to it as he climbs down, and throws the bat and chair into the ring. Andrew then collapses the table and slides that into the ring also, but before he has a chance to set it up, The Ace has made it back to his feet and proceeds to stomp the hell out of Andrew as he enters. The Ace then spots the bat, and picks it up, begging Andrew to get back to his feet, and as the fan favourite does so, The Ace rams the business end of the bat into Andrew's gut, hunching him over in the centre of the ring. The Ace then kicks the chair into position, and signals for the Russian Roulette, but Andrew counters with three stiff elbows to the veterans face, dazing him enough for Andrew to spin him into a quick snap suplex right onto the barbed wire steel chair. The Ace howls in pain, clutching his back as Emma looks on concerned. Danielle Chase and the fans however are loving it. The Ace rolls out of the ring, his back bleeding, and he crawls over to the door of the Den, slowly to where Emma and the second referee are standing. The Ace grabs the steel mesh and is apparently pleading for his release, but the referee on the outside shakes his head.}
Eric Hardy: Well, it looks like The Ace might have had enough here...
Dave Holland: I think he underestimated Andrew Jacobsen here tonight...
Willy Carter: Look at Emma, that crazy white girl! She's arguing with the official too...
{Emma is indeed arguing with the referee, and using the distraction to palm off something to The Ace, which he immediately tucks into his trunks, and as he turns around, he is greeted by Andrew Jacobsen now carrying the barbed wire steel chair, with which he cracks Ace in the head with. Finally getting payback for being busted open so early in the match, with his own title belt no less. The damage is immediately evident as the crimson streaks start to flow down the former National Champion's face. The Ace is stumbling, trying to get away from Andrew who hits him across the back with the chair, and the crowd and Danielle count each shot as it lands, absolutely delighted. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7....The Ace is stumbling around in retreat, backed up against a wall, without looking he grabs the first thing he can see as Andrew winds up for chair shot number 8. The Ace has in his hand a little black bag, and he opens it, and throws the white powder inside into Andrew's eyes, blinding the current National Champion, to many boos from the crowd. Attempting to wipe the powder from his eyes, AJ has no choice but to relinquish the chair, and The Ace has enough presence of mind to look around on the nearest weapon laden wall and this time make a careful selection of his weapon of choice. Seeing his former favourite, the sledgehammer, The Ace rips it off the wall, along with some residual barbed wire that still clung to it. The Ace wraps the barbed wire around the head, creating a makeshift Spiked One Version 7.0. Seemingly not satisfied that the weapon is lethal enough, The Ace reaches into his trunks and pulls out...a cigarette lighter! The Ace flicks it with a thumb and it sparks to life. The Ace sadistically grins as he introduces the flame to the barbed wire around the head of the hammer , and as it catches fire, he discards the lighter and takes a moment to wink at a horrified Danielle Chase.}
The Ace: This one's for you, babe!
Eric Hardy: MY GOD! THE CARNAGE! NO! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!
Dave Holland: I think The Ace might just have found his vicious streak!
Willy Carter: Now that's what I call a Burning Hammer!
{The Ace laughs as Andrew is stumbling around, but somehow Andrew can see just enough to take a fire extinguisher off the cell wall next to him, and he sprays it in The Ace's general direction, serving its purpose to simultaneously put out the fire and also even the odds in reducing The Ace's ability to see through the plumes of smoke it produces. The Ace takes a wild swing in the smoke as he coughs, and when it clears, we see that the bastard still managed to hit Andrew in the side of the head with his mentor's weapon. the moment before back tracking to find the lighter he abandoned. He scoops it up, and makes his way to the Den door with it. The Ace then sets the barbed wire around the door alight, letting it burn. The Ace then goes over to a winded Andrew Jacobsen, dragging him to his feet and over to the door. The Ace then props a woozy Jacobsen up against the door. The Ace takes several steps back and in a flashback to four years earlier with Steve Awesome, he drives Jacobsen through the flaming door with a spear!
The crowd are going nuts with their chants of 'HOLY ****!' 'HOLY ****!' as the second official with a fire extinguisher of his own puts out the fire.}
Eric Hardy: THAT KILLED HIM! THAT KILLED HIM! THAT SON OF A BITCH KILLED HIM!
Dave Holland: HOLY HELL, MY GOD! THE HUMANITY!
Willy Carter: HOW MUCH MORE CAN THESE MEN PUT EACH OTHER THROUGH!
{Both Emma and Danielle run around to check on the two men, and The Ace is aided to his feet first by Emma, Danielle meanwhile has enough wherewithal to spot that a fan in the front row in a 'North Star' T-Shirt is drinking some bottled water. She goes over and asks for it, the fan graciously gives it to her and she in turn makes his night by pecking him on the cheek. She then rushes over to Andrew and empties the contents onto Andrew's face, serving the dual purpose of reawakening him from his daze and washing any residual powder that was left in his eyes from earlier.
A seemingly rejuvenated Andrew slowly gets to his feet, aided by Danielle, and he wipes his face, and nods in thanks to Danielle before going over and starting to trade blows with The Ace, there is nothing pretty about them but they are effective as they have The Ace reeling, Andrew then grabs The Ace by the arm and yells for Danielle to move out of the way. She sidesteps and Ace is sent crashing knees first into the steel steps. Emma steps forward and has a tense stare down with her best friend. Andrew says nothing, and instead snatches The Ace's jacket from her. He puts it on much to the delight of the crowd, even activating the lights as he struts around for a while clearly enjoying himself.}
Willy Carter: How disgusting! How dare he mock a veteran like The Ace!
Eric Hardy: Oh shut up Willy!
Dave Holland: The fans are clearly loving it!
{The crowd's cheers soon turn to boos as The Ace clocks a showboating Andrew with the dislodged steel steps. Andrew goes down and Ace discards the steel steps, and removes the wrist tape on his left wrist and using it to choke out Andrew by wrapping it around his throat. As Andrew is choking, The Ace yells out: WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS ANDREW! WHY ARE YOU MAKING SOLI CRY? WHY ARE YOU MAKING MY BABY SAD?
The crowd are going nuts as The Ace stops choking Andrew only to remove the jacket from the National Champion's back, and put it back on himself. The Ace then delivers a soccer style kick to Andrew's head before proclaiming: THIS LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE YOU VALUE BELONGS TO ME! The Ace then drags Andrew to his feet and leads him back into the Den, by the head, presumably to finish him off. Ace throws him under the bottom rope before going over to set up the table Andrew Jacobsen had brought earlier into the ring. With it propped up, The Ace picks up Andrew and drags him onto the table, hooking the front facelock and signalling for The Ace-Plant, and he drives the National Champion face first into the table with his finishing move much to the fans' disapproval...}
Eric Hardy: That's it! It's over!
Dave Holland: I think you might be right, Hardy!
Willy Carter: Goodnight Gracie!
{The Ace drops down for the cover in the middle of the ring...1...2....3....NO! With Mitch Kennedy's hand inches off the mat for the final count, Andrew Jacobsen barely gets a shoulder up out of instinct. The crowd erupt in cheers as The Ace scrambles back towards the corner in utter disbelief. The Ace is wide eyed, and grabbing his hair as he can't believe it.}
Eric Hardy: ANDREW GOT THE SHOULDER UP!
Dave Holland: UNBELIEVABLE!
Willy Carter: Stay on him, Ace!
{The Ace then gets up and walks over to drag Andrew out of the wreckage of the broken table by his leg and then, when Andrew is clear, The Ace tries for a Sharpshooter. He manages to turn Jacobsen onto his stomach and complete the move and with blood pouring down his face Andrew shakes his head in clear defiance.
Eric Hardy: Sharpshooter!}
Dave Holland: That's Andrew's finisher!
Willy Carter: Yes! The ultimate humiliation I love it! Tap out Andrew, tap!
{Andrew is inspired to fight through all the pain by the fans cheering his name and willing him on. Andrew arches his back as he lifts himself up, looking to power out of it, and only after three attempts does he finally manage to break the hold. The Ace stumbles away as Andrew gets to his feet, shaking off the fatigue induced by being put in his own finisher. Meanwhile The Ace has left the ring in search of more toys. He throws the white customised steel chair from earlier into the ring, along with a trash can and lid. He then grabs his signature steel rake from the den wall and carries it back into the ring with him. Utterly incensed, The Ace charges at Andrew with it, and Jacobsen ducks the wild swing, only to catch The Ace in his own signature Ace-Plant!}
Eric Hardy: Turn about is fair play I guess!
Dave Holland: Ace-Plant! Ace-Plant!
Willy Carter: You see this is where Andrew is making a mistake by not capitalising.
{Instead of even attempting a pinfall, Andrew walks back to a corner and stomps the ground, begging The Ace to get back to his feet as the crowd start a 'USA! USA!' chant clearly designed to get under the Englishman's skin. As The Ace is finding his feet, Andrew looks into the camera and says: THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, SOLI!
Andrew charges in for Lights Out, but The Ace blocks it, Andrew hops on one foot briefly before The Ace flips him over onto his stomach and applies an Ankle Lock. He wrenches the ankle and yells out to the crowd: LOOK AT YOUR HERO NOW!
The electric crowd answer him with chants of 'ASSHOLE!' 'ASSHOLE!'
This so frustrates The Ace that he releases the hold, and takes off his jacket, tossing it aside and grabbing the white steel chair he had brought into the ring and he places Andrew's ankle in it, before stomping down to the point where steel meets bone. Andrew yells out in pain as he instinctively cradles his ankle, but an enraged Ace is having none of it as he continues to stomp at Andrew's arms and legs before kicking the National Champion in the gut, seemingly fired up by the hatred that rains down upon him.
The Ace then drags Andrew to his feet, kicking the customised steel chair into position under Andrew as he delivers a FameAcer to the steel. The Ace then kicks the chair out of the way and attempts a pin...1...2...Andrew somehow shows incredible heart to kick out at the last second and this time The Ace argues with Mitch Kennedy, grabbing him by the shirt and yelling about not doing his job. This distraction allows Emma Danielson to enter the Den, and she confronts a stumbling Andrew Jacobsen. Andrew tries to ask what she's doing here, she is telling him to stay down, that it's not worth it...and that she's sorry. She turns away from him, and as Andrew tries to turn her around, she reaches into her left boot and slips on a pair of brass knuckles.}
Eric Hardy: What the hell is Emma doing?
{She takes a swing at Andrew who instinctively ducks, and Emma ends up hitting Danielle Chase who had also entered the ring, presumably to confront Emma. Jacobsen looks on in shock as Chase is knocked out cold. Emma leaves the ring as Andrew drops to his knees to check on her...but this concern is short lived as The Ace pulls Jacobsen up from behind before delivering PokerfAce. The Ace goes for the cover but the referee is far too concerned with summoning EMTs down to the ring to deal with the fallen Danielle Chase.}
Dave Holland: Emma just hit Danielle with the brass knuckles!
Willy Carter: Guys we still have a match going on!
{A team of EMTs arrive with a backboard and they wade through the carnage to get to Danielle. In spite of his concerns for her Andrew knows he has to keep fighting even as The Ace drags him to his feet and yells at him about yet another woman he's failed. Enraged Andrew tackles The Ace and both men tumble out of the ring, trading blows as EMTS continue to load Chase on to the backboard and take her out of the ring and out of the Den. Emma looks on, but she doesn't seem too concerned, more indifferent to the results of her actions as The Ace and Andrew continue to trade blows, each growing more exhausted and slower with each hit.
On the outside The Ace seems to get the better of Andrew as The Ace levels him with a Reversal of Fortune on the steel platform. The Ace then goes over to Emma and she hands him her brass knuckles. The Ace slips them on as Andrew is crawling on the platform towards the ring. The Ace slides in and waits for him, ready to turn the lights out on Jacobsen. Andrew uses the ropes to drag himself part way to his feet, but flops through them into the ring. The Ace goes over and pulls Andrew to his feet, before decking him across the jaw with the brass knuckles. Rather than let Andrew fall, The Ace grabs his arm and takes Andrew down in the middle of the ring with the Trente et Quarante submission hold. Mitch Kennedy drops to his knees and raises Andrew's free arm. It falls to the mat. A second time - the same result. A third time and its over - The Ace wins!
The crowd explode with boos!}
Eric Hardy: Ace's done it!
Dave Holland: Ace won in spectacular fashion here tonight!
Willy Carter: I have to hand it to the veteran he went through Hell and still managed to pull it out!
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner and NEW NCW NATIONAL CHAMPION....THE ACE!
{The Ace gets to his feet as Mitch Kennedy hands him the title. Conway looks at it for a moment and puts three fingers up on his left hand as he raises the belt above his head. Kathy Conway runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, all smiles as she leaps into her husband's arms , wrapping herself around him as they kiss. Emma Danielson enters can't face the scene of the two lovers and decides to take her leave.}
Willy Carter: What a match
Eric Hardy: Both men left it on the line but next up is our main event of the evening...
{A video package airs showing the highlights of previous matches between the two as well as the formation of Verona's groupd with Famularo, Jones and Ace.}
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NCW World Title Cell Match
Roberto Verona(C) vs. Mike Laszlo
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dave Holland: Welcome back folks for our main event, and what a match this is going to be.
Eric Hardy: Out of the fire and into the frying pan here tonight, from a Dragons Den to a Cell match! If you’re a little squeamish, it might be best to tune out right about now.
Willy Carter: Finally, my main man is going to silence the critics and finish what he started.
{ Amber Ashe climbs into the ring as the lights begin to flash intermittently and the crowd begins to feverishly await the lowering of the Cell structure. A countdown begins as slowly the mechanisms kick into life and the cage begins to lower as the crowd cheer with delight, their anticipation for this final showdown at its peak. Gradually the cage lowers before it rattles as it hits the floor and technicians begin to flood from the backstage area to begin the final preparations to ensure the structure is ready for its purpose. }
Eric Hardy: What a terrifying structure, I dread to imagine what we’re going to be in for here tonight as these two men battle it out. Neither is going to avoid taking things up a notch to get the victory tonight.
Willy Carter: Roberto is going to do what he has to, I never expect anything less from the best champion we’ve had since Xander’s first dominant reign.
Dave Holland: Matches like these can define a career, win or lose they can build your legacy and form your legend. Though normally at the expense of your body, I don’t envy either man, but they both know what they’re getting themselves into.
{ As the crew rushes around performing their last minute checks Amber raises her lips to her mouth as the noise goes up a notch. }
Amber Ashe: The next match is a Cell match and it is for the NCW World Championship!
{ The crowd pops. }
Amber Ashe: By order of Kelly Fox, if anybody interferes in proceedings tonight they will be arrested or see their contracted terminated!
{ "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage hits the sound system as Mike Laszlo walks out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a favored reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a smirk comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a slow confident walk, ignoring the fans along the isle who want to slap his hand. }
Amber Ashe: Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds, MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{ Mike slides into the ring under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd who give him another favored reaction, as Alexis ascends the stairs and enters the ring. Backing into the corner Mike clasps his hands and loosens his wrists waiting for the start of the match, gazing up at the structure before nodding his head. }
Eric Hardy: Mike has been so close to victory at the past two pay per views, could the third time be the charm?
Willy Carter: You’d like that, wouldn’t you Hardy? Roberto won within the boundaries of the rules, it doesn’t matter how many times you all bitch about it.
Dave Holland: This could be Mike’s final chance for some time, you have to believe he will do whatever he can to grasp it with both hands.
{ The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As boos being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head, the NCW World Championship wrapped around his waist, and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who heckle him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. He pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath as he stares up at the cage he is about to enter before walking through the door. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the abuse. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, raising the NCW World Championship high above his head as he awaits the beginning of the match. }
Amber Ashe: And his opponent t, he is the NCW World Champion and the Saviour of New Championship Wrestling, from Firenze, Italy, Roberto Verrrrrrrrooooooonnnnnaaaaaaa!!!!
Willy Carter: Here comes one of the best professional wrestlers of his generation and our world champion.
Eric Hardy: I will give him some credit, he has provided the match Mike has been begging for to his own detriment, if he wins here tonight he may have redeemed himself a little, professionally at least.
Dave Holland: Verona has declared himself as much a victim of Lex Sense as Mike, now he has his chance to show just how talented he really is.
{ Just as Amber prepares to leave the ring “Up In Flames” by Icon for Hire blasts out as the crowd erupts into raucous boos as the CEO of NCW, Kelly Fox, emerges from behind the curtain before she makes her way down the ramp. Verona doesn’t seem to be too surprised, but he holds his hands up as Mike accuses him of foul play. Kelly makes her way around the cell as the official begin to thread the chain through to lock the door before she reaches the announce desk where she grabs a headset and beckons for a seat. }
Dave Holland: It looks like we have a little company chaps.
Kelly Fox: Hello gentleman. Eric.
Eric Hardy: What are you doing here?
Kelly Fox: Thanks for the warm welcome. I’m here to make sure any appropriate punishments for interference are carried out promptly and efficiently.
Willy Carter: It is great to see you Kelly, you add another touch of class out here that has been lacking.
Kelly Fox: Why thank you Willy, you’re doing a great job.
{ Back inside the ring Roberto and Mike begin to circle the ring after Alexis leaves the structure, staring daggers through one another before locking up in the middle of the ring, trying to gain the advantage. Verona finally seems to get the upperhand as he applies a headlock to Mike but Laszlo pushes him off, sending him hurtling towards the ropes. Verona rebounds and tries to hit a clothesline but Mike manages to duck, catching Roberto with a right hand to the delight of the crowd when he turns around. Verona staggers a little as Mike throws another but he blocks it before firing back with one of his own which forces a few boos from the audience before the pair begin to exchange fists as the crowd play along. }
Eric Hardy: A lively start here, just as Mike looked to get infront Verona turned it back around, I think tonight will be very close.
Kelly Fox: Nice to see you being impartial, Eric.
Willy Carter: Come on Roberto punch his lights out!
Dave Holland: Who will come out on top?
{ Eventually it is Mike who prevails to the delight of the capacity crowd as he begins back Roberto into the corner but just as he builds up a head of steam Verona drops to his knees and plants a low blow on Laszlo who grabs his crotch and drops to the mat, eye to eye with Roberto who slaps the taste out of his mouth in a blatant show of disrespect, which the crowd display their total displeasure for. Verona stands up, smiling from ear to ear before driving his knees cap straight into the face of Laszlo who slumps to the mat before Verona begins to plant boot after boot into his torso, pushing away the referee who is powerless to stop him. }
Dave Holland: You may not like to see it, but Roberto is doing nothing wrong. Everything is legal inside that cell.
Eric Hardy: We knew what we’d see, the rulebook was thrown out of the window the moment that door locked.
Willy Carter: It’s a good job Laszlo has a new puppy because he won’t be having any more children.
Kelly Fox: That right there, is our World Champion. I have to say, I think have excellent taste.
{ When he decides he is satisfied with his work Verona picks Laszlo back up before hoisting him up over his head with a suplex which drops Mike back to the mat. Wasting little time Roberto lifts Mike back up before planting a knee into his midriff which sends him keeling over before hitting him the back of the skull with a vicious elbow which sends him down to one knee. Taking a few steps back Roberto launches forward and drives another knee right into Mike’s temple as he falls flat onto the mat clutching his groin and face leaving him completely open to an elbow drop from Verona who begins to drop elbow after elbow onto his prone body before finally stopping, sitting next to him and grinning. }
Eric Hardy: See, you all keep telling me to stop being biased, but this man does himself no favour.
Kelly Fox: This is a fight Hardy, not a pillow fight. Mike has flat out threatened to kill Roberto if he has to, will you be condemning him when the boots on the other foot?
Willy Carter: Yeah Hardy, shut your mouth. My, Kelly and Davey Boy have got this.
Dave Holland: Don’t drag me into this.
{ Instead of getting up Verona rolls under the bottom rope and as he does so he spots Alexis and he promptly steps forward and shakes the cell at her, causing her to jump. Verona laughs as she shouts back some less than lady like words before grabbing the ring apron, tossing it up onto the mat before bending over to retrieve something from it. A few seconds later he returns with a chair which he throws over the top rope, the implement crashing into the mat before being following by a steel bin. Satisfied with his purchases Roberto climbs back into the ring and grabs the bin, placing it upright before grabbing Mike and laying his upper torso and head across the top of the bin. When he has Mike where he wants to he turns and picks up the chair, raising it above his head. }
Eric Hardy: Don’t do this Roberto!
Dave Holland: Mike Laszlo is in a horrifying position here.
Kelly Fox: He knew what he was getting into…..
{ Waiting a few moments he lines his target up and brings the chair crashing down but luckily for Mike he manages to slide off the bin and avoid the disgusting attempt to handicap him. The crowd roar as Mike uses the ropes to get to his feet and as Verona tries to swing the chair into his skull he dodges out of the way before landing a boot to Roberto’s gut. Verona grimaces in pain but it soon gets worse as Mike snatches the chair from him and he slaps it right across his back. Roberto arches his back in agony as he drops to his knees but he has little time to regroup as Mike lands a kick to the side of his head which sends him crashing to the mat. }
Kelly Fox: Well?
Eric Hardy: Roberto knew the rules.
Willy Carter: See what I have to work with?
Dave Holland: That backfired on the champion, he needs to be careful here now Mike has the weapon.
{ As Verona lays on the mat he is soon beginning to regret bringing the weapons into play as Mike begins to rain down on his back with the chair with sickening shots as the crowd gasp with each impact before the champ finally finds some refuge when he rolls out of the ring away from the violent assault. Mike tosses the chair to the mat before following his opponent, lifting him up off the mat before he grabs his arms and whips him right into the side of the cell, which moulds around his frame before he hits the floor violently to the delight of the capacity crowd. Mike looks around, smiling and nodding at the crowd who have begun to bay for blood. }
Dave Holland: Mike is doing exactly what he said, whatever it takes. Even if it makes for uncomfortable viewing.
Eric Hardy: Aren’t you a little worried, Kelly?
Kelly Fox: About what exactly? Roberto has been inside the ring with men who have done unspeakable things to him in the past, he is a professional and knows that he has to take a little punishment from time to time.
Willy Carter: I hope he is ok….
{ Roberto grabs onto the cell and begins to lift himself up but he may as well have stayed on the mat as he turns around and see’s Mike hurtling towards him before launching into the air and splashing Roberto back into the cell, the mesh ripping at his shirt as he slumps back to the floor. Mike stands up with a bloodlust in his eyes as he stares around at the crowd who egg him on further, eager to see the world champion finally get his comeuppance for all of his mischief. Laszlo grabs Verona by the head and lifts him up before he drops him down with a swift snap suplex right onto the mat and right onto Verona’s back which has taken a great deal of punishment thus far. }
Eric Hardy: Mike has that look in his eyes, I think he is going to leave everything inside that ring here tonight…
Kelly Fox: He is a talented man, but if he concentrates too much on punish Roberto, he might find his dreams in tatters.
Willy Carter: Roberto isn’t in trouble yet…
Dave Holland: Really? What exactly do you define as trouble?
{ Mike sits back up but as he turns back around he just glimpses Verona rolling under the apron and under the ring. Wasting little time Laszlo gives chase, managing to grab Roberto by the leg as he leans under the ring but suddenly a great cloud of power erupts around Mike’s body as he swiftly lets go of Verona before lifting his head back up where it is clear he is clutching at his eyes, his face covered in some sort of substance. Alexis rushes over to try and help him but he groans in pain as he tries to rub the dust out of his eyes, only making things worse. Thinking quickly on her feet Alexis grabs a bottle of water from a fan in the front row, passing it through the mesh to Mike who hurriedly unscrews the top before pouring it over his face to feel a little relief. }
Dave Holland: Fair play, a very smart plan by Roberto there.
Eric Hardy: He needed to do something because this one was slipping away from him with every second that passed.
Kelly Fox: Should I fire Alexis for her interference in this match?
Eric Hardy: Oh come on!
{ Mike’s eyes are bloodshot as he continues to pour the contents of the water bottle across his face but as he does so Verona re-emerge from underneath the ring and before he has a chance to defend himself Roberto plants a vicious right fist to the side of his face, which sends him staggering around the side of the ring with Verona in hot pursuit. Spotting an opportunity Verona picks up his pace and barrels into the back of Mike sending him crashing into the ringpost shoulder first before he crumples in a heap on the floor as Roberto clutches his back, a little blood seeping through onto his shirt. }
Willy Carter: Woooo, my man back in the game!
Dave Holland: The champion created the opening and now he has exploited it, the mark of a determined man.
Kelly Fox: He’s champ for a reason, he has ring smarts.
Eric Hardy: I don’t like the look of the way Mike’s shoulder struck that ringpost, he could be in a little trouble.
{ Verona steps over Mike, planting a boot into his shoulder which causes the challenger to let out a whelp as he is clearly in a lot of pain but he will find little mercy from the champion. Roberto leans down and picks Mike back up and he rolls him back in the ring before he follows him, dropping a few more boots into him for good measure. Grabbing Mike by his other arm Roberto drags him over to the steel bin he retrieved early, draping him across it before he walking towards the turnbuckle and begins to climb up. Measuring up his opponent he steadies himself before leaping into the air where he successfully lands an elbow into the torso of Mike which crushes the bin beneath him. Verona immediately pushes the bin out from underneath the pair before going for the pin, 1…..2……NO! So close for Verona but Mike throws up a defiant shoulder into the air the delight of the audience. }
Eric Hardy: What perseverance from Mike Laszlo to kick out of that one!
Willy Carter: Damn it!
Kelly Fox: So close for my champion.
Dave Holland: Things are starting to pick up here, both man are using everything they can to pull out the victory here tonight.
{ Roberto punches the mat in frustration as he thought he had Mike there, but his opponent showed fantastic resilience to kick out from that. Verona lays on his back for a moment to catch his breath and re-think his strategy a little bit as Laszlo does his best to drag himself to the ropes as the crowd will him up to his feet, determined to roar him on to victory. Roberto sits back up and looks towards his opponent and clambering to his feet he leaps up and hits a running drop kick to send Mike rolling out to the floor beneath. Sensing the moment is his Verona takes a few steps back and uncharacteristically charges at the ropes and flies through them with a suicide dive but to his horror as he does Laszlo grabs the chair he dropped earlier and he turns around sending the champion crashing face first into the chair before the momentum carries the pair of them smashing into wire mesh which buckles underneath their weight and tears open as the pair crash into the barricade as the fans leaps to their feet to show their approval for the terrible destruction the pair have dished out to each other. Alexis screams and rushes to attend to Mike as neither men move and inch. }
Crowd: Holy ****! Holy ****! Holy ****!
Eric Hardy: Good god….
Kelly Fox: That is the mark of a true champion, he just threw his body at Mike and put it on the line all for the glory.
Dave Holland: But it backfired on him after he ate that chair…
Willy Carter: I can’t believe what I just saw.
{ Official rush around the side of the cell as they charge to attend to both men who have still not moved at all, leading to a great deal of concern for the pair of them. One official leads Alexis away who is visibly distraught at the status of Mike as the crowd stand up to look down at the pair as the officials work on them, though thankfully both appear to be responding a little more though neither looks better for their experience as blood pours out of Roberto’s left eyebrow and Mike’s eyes are glazed over and still red from the powder earlier. Suddenly Mike begins to push the officials away from him, insisting that he wants to get back onto his feet of his own accord as Verona is still laid on his back, suffering from the chair shot. Although it takes him a while, Mike finally gets to his feet, although he struggles to keep his balance, to the delight of the crowd who roar in approval. }
Dave Holland: I don’t like to see men in this kind of state at all.
Eric Hardy: Neither are looking too great here, Mike may be on his feet but he’s showing the effects of crashing through that cell.
Kelly Fox: Can I just say, what a fantastic reaction by my staff here tonight, showing why they’re the best.
Willy Carter: Somebody help the champ! Come on!
{ Mike staggers back into the structure as Roberto begins to lift himself back to his feet and slowly but surely, he follows suit as the crowd begin to applaud both men as they are desperate for this match to carry on some more. After a few minutes both men manage to get back into the ring, in opposite corners where they use the ring to hoist themselves up to take a further breather as they do their best to come round, both still showing the effects of the match thus far. The noise begins to build as both men suddenly lunge forward and begin to exchange fists again, neither willing to seemingly back down as they lay fist after fist into one another’s skulls, blood flying from Verona’s face with each strike before he finally begins to stagger back and Mike rises into the ascendancy backing him into a corner. Laszlo takes a few groggy steps backwards before he charges and lands a clotheslines on Verona who slumps down to the bottom turnbuckle. }
Eric Hardy: I can’t believe either man is capable of carrying on but it looks like we may have a match on our hands here ladies and gentlemen.
Kelly Fox: This is why you tune into NCW every single week.
Willy Carter: Don’t let him get on top Roberto!
Dave Holland: Mike is fighting through the pain, it is clear he is absolutely desperate to win this match and become the next world champion.
Kelly Fox: But will he succeed?
{ Mike pushes his boot into the face of Verona who is powerless to stop him before relinquishing his grip, backing off a little before charging back to plant a running drop kick straight into the champions face. Sensing this could be his moment Mike drags Verona into the ring and goes for the pin. 1…..2…..NO! Verona manages to just kick out and keep himself alive in this match as Laszlo shakes his head in annoyance before lifting his battered body back up, bringing Roberto up with him. When they both are on their feet Mike scoops Roberto up and then slams him back down before leaping up into the air to drop a leg across the champions throat as he begins to build up his momentum. Lifting Verona back up he whips him into the ropes and as he rebounds back he lands a inch perfect spinning back elbow which sends the champ down to the mat. }
Dave Holland: Finally, a little bit of wrestling…
Kelly Fox: There is nothing wrong with a good brawl Holland.
Eric Hardy: Whoever wins, both men have really displayed such a high level of commitment here which is a fantastic advert for the biggest prize in this company.
Willy Carter: Roberto is still going to win, he has to….
{ Mike jumps to his feet, fighting the pain as he begins to pump up the crowd who respond in kind, getting right behind the challenger. Verona slowly gets onto his knees but Mike plants an enziguri around the back of his skull which sends him slumping back to the mat. Mike goes for another cover, 1….2….NO! The champion gets his shoulder up again and it is clear that Mike is beginning to get visibly frustrated bu the resilience show by Roberto. Rolling out of the ring he climbs through the tear in the cell and retrieve the steel chair he used to great effect earlier and he climbs back into the structure, rolling into the ring. Stalking Verona he wills him to his feet and slowly but surely the champion stands up, wobbling a little and as he turns Mike prepares to swing the chair but as he does Verona lunges forward and kicks it right back into his face with a Silencer superkick! Verona falls to his knees as the chair crashes into Mike’s skull before flying out of his hands as Laszlo hits the mat hard. }
Willy Carter: This could be it! Go on Roberto!
Kelly Fox: Mike might have lost a couple more brain cells with that one…
Eric Hardy: I dread to imagine what it is going to take for either man to win this match.
Dave Holland: It is going to have to be something pretty big.
{ Roberto stays down on his knees unable to capitalise on his surprise attack, though it appears he appreciates the breather far more than he values the opportunity to pin Mike. Laszlo lays completely motionless as Verona looks towards him his eyes are suddenly drawn towards the steel chair which lays just besides the challenger as a lightbulb seemingly switches on in the champs head as he begins to crawl towards the chair, slowly pulling it towards him before using it almost as a crutch to lift himself back to his feet. Biding his time he slowly begins to strike the mat with the chair in a methodical fashion which a few fans join in with clapping and as Laszlo finally gets to his feet his slowly turns around and in one fluid motion Roberto swings the chair and almost takes Mike’s head off was he brings it crashing across his face. Flashbulbs light up but just as it seems Verona may have finished this match to his dismay Mike’s momentum carries him through the ropes crashing to the mat. }
Eric Hardy: Verona nearly took Mike’s head off with that chair!
Dave Holland: But unfortunately for him Mike just ended up on the floor, it’s not easy getting deadweight back into the ring.
Willy Carter: That’s how we do Roberto, that’s how we do!
Kelly Fox: It’s ok folk, Roberto can always hit him in the face for a second time in the middle of the ring.
{ Verona screams in frustration before following his opponent out of the ring but as predicted he struggles to lift Laszlo up very quickly, eventually opting to rest him on the apron as he lifts him by the legs onto it before rolling him back in the ring. Verona slides in after Mike and goes for a cover, 1….2…..NO! It appears Mike’s bit of luck bought him the time he needed to fight out of that cover attempt as Verona flops onto his back and begins to pound the mat in anger as he was sure he had Laszlo there. The crowd are delighted that Mike has managed to stay alive in this match, but he has shown the signs of doing so as blood pours from a cut just beneath his hair line leaving both men with increasingly crimson faces. }
Dave Holland: Mike has kicked out….but I fear it will only inspire even further violence to finish this match off.
Eric Hardy: Mike is paying the price for resilience here, but I have a strange feeling that luck may just be on his side here tonight and sometimes that is what you need.
Kelly Fox: Like how you’ll be lucky to have a job next week?
Willy Carter: I love having you back, Kelly.
{ Roberto lays on his back, still looking up at the roof of the cell but as he does so, he seems to resign himself to what he must do. Picking himself up he staggers towards the ropes and climbs out of the ring before he steps out through the tear in the cell and to the outside of the structure as Mike begins to stir. Looking around Verona suddenly steps forward and begins to climb up the side of the cell…}
Eric Hardy: Oh god…
Dave Holland: Verona is beginning to transcend the cell and I’ll be honest folks, this very rarely ever ends well…
Kelly Fox: I’m not too sure about this.
Willy Carter: Keep the faith, Kelly. Roberto knows exactly what he is doing.
{ As Verona gradually makes progress Mike finally spots him and lifts himself up to give pursuit, the crowd willing both men on as Roberto just reaches the top of the structure when Mike finally climbs out through the tear and begins his own path. Roberto staggers towards the middle of the cell just as Mike’s fingers reach the top of the cell and he yanks himself up on top. Verona walks towards Mike but he is tackled by the challenger as the crowd pops for him, the mesh buckling beneath bthem, but retaining its integrity for now. Mike begins to lay fist after fist into Verona’s head who tries to protect himself as best as he possibly can do, eventually resorting to raking Mike’s eyes, which buys him some time as Laszlo stands up and staggers backwards clutching them, still sore after the powder earlier. Verona lifts himself up and pursues Laszlo…. }
Dave Holland: Things have just gone up a notch here.
Willy Carter: Come on Roberto!
Eric Hardy: Come on Mike!
Kelly Fox: Come on buyrates!
Dave Holland: Erm guys…..
{ As Dave looks up he notices Verona lunge towards Laszlo who turns to face him and as the pair grapple one another they suddenly turn, realising they are precariously close to the edge but before either rman is able to restore his balance they suddenly drop sidewards plunging down from atop the cell as flashblubs light up the whole arena and the pair come crashing down through the announce table, sending shrapnel into the air as the announce team scatter hurriedly to get out of the way as best they can. The crowd rush forward towards the barricades to try and get a glimpse of the pair but they are barely visible underneath the carnage. EMTs and NCW staff pour over to the table as Dave Holland does his best to get out of the way as there is visible concern or both competitors. The crowd, however, are going ballistic over what they just witnessed, chanting “N-C-Dub”. }
Dave Holland: Please bear with us ladies and gentlemen, we’re having a few technical difficulties right now…I can’t bring you any updates on the condition of our two competitors just yet…
{ Eric steps away from the debris and stands next to Dave. }
Eric Hardy: Dave, can you hear me?
Dave Holland: Loud and clear Eric.
Eric Hardy: Neither Roberto Verona or Mike Laszlo has moved an inch as far as I can tell, I don’t really know what to say…
{ Crew push debris off the prone bodies of Mike and Roberto as EMts do their best to ascertain the situation, Alexis rushes over to Mike again whilst Kelly Fox kneels down next to Roberto as they both will their respective competitors to come around, though both are visibly concerned as a crew members throws up an “X” to indicate for further aid. }
Willy Carter: I think I spilled my coke.
Eric Hardy: Priorities Willy…
Dave Holland: I am not sure what will happen here folks, I’m not sure how we can wrestle to a conclusion here tonight. A sad end to a fantastic PPV…
{ EMTs continue to work on the two men who thankfully are beginning to respond to prompts from the staff around them as the crowd begin to clap for them. They manage to sit Verona up who grimaces as they do the same with Mike as minutes pass by with little indication about what will happen in regards to the match. }
Eric Hardy: Both men appear to be responding, which is great news.
Dave Holland: We always knew this match would go over the edge, and it did that moments ago. Roberto lunged for Mike but neither could maintain their balance and they plummeted into our announce table.
Willy Carter: Mike wanted to bring it, he just wasn’t expecting Verona to go to the same extent.
{ A few more moments pass until suddenly Mike comes around and begins to push the attendants away, quickly realising that if they cancel the match he will lose his final opportunity at the NCW World Champion. The crowd go absolutely nuts as Mike crawls onto his knees before he moves towards Roberto and begins to push away the staff attending to him! }
Dave Holland: I think Mike has lost his mind!
Eric Hardy: What the hell is he doing?
Willy Carter: Take your hands off the champion, he needs medical attention!
{ Mike begins furiously throwing his arms around as he orders the staff to back away from the pair of them and as they all take a few steps back he wraps one of Roberto’s arms over his shoulders before slowly but surely he lifts the pair of them to their feet. The crowd are electric as their favourite is clearly determined to see this match through to its conclusion as both he and Verona begrudgingly help one another around the side of the cage, stepping over the debris a they progress towards the large tear from which they exited earlier. }
Dave Holland: I am not sure quite how wise it is for either man to continue a wrestling match, they fell a terribly long distance only minutes ago.
Eric Hardy: Mike obviously landed on his head, his absolute desire for that belt is a little disturbing
Willy Carter: Game on! See how resilient our champion is?
{ Mike and Roberto climb through the cell and clamber as best they can, clutching their numberous injured body parts, back inside the ring as the crowd go absolutely crazy for the pair of them, swiftly forgetting their allegiances. The referee follows the pair as quickly as he can as each man stares at the other in the centre of the ring as the noises levels begin to grow and grow as the crowd show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by the pair. Roberto clutches his ribs whilst Mike’s previously hurt shoulder is clearly not in good shape either but this doesn’t stop the pair ploughing forward one last time to exchange more fists, punching anything that moves as both seem to completely ignore their own pain. }
Eric Hardy: It looks like, despite everything sensible telling us otherwise, that we will have a conclusion to this match here tonight!
Dave Holland: The strength of both of these men is ridiculous, they must be in agony. That is how important the NCW World Championship is. Whoever leaves he will have truly earned that belt.
Willy Carter: Will this be the defining moment of Roberto’s title reign?
Eric Hardy: Or the conclusion?
{ Both men continue to throw their fist before eventually Roberto begins to come out on top, driving his knee into the stomach of Mike Laslo, knocking the wind right out of him. As he does he grabs the challenger by the head and looks around at the crowd before landing another right fist into his temple which sends him to the mat, blood flying through the air as he hits the mat hard. Roberto bends over desperately trying to capture his breath as he wills Mike back to his feet and as he eventually manages to lifting his battered body back up Roberto lifts him up onto his shoulders, as he did with Jacobsen to win the belt and rotating his hips and tosses Mike’s legs off one shoulder and drops down to the mat to hit him with a stunner! }
Willy Carter: Roberto Verona told me that he calls that move the Ides of March! Could this be it?
Eric Hardy: Roberto Verona could be about to retain the belt that he has grown so accustomed to!
Dave Holland: Can Mike kick out?
{ The referee drops to his knees…..1! }
Crowd: ONE!
{ …..2! }
Crowd: TWO!
{……3!!!!! Roberto Verona retains the NCW World Championship! }
Crowd: THREE!!!!
Willy Carter: MY MAN HAS DONE IT! WOOOOOO!!!!
Eric Hardy: Whatever you may think of Verona, and I am one of his harshest critics, he has earned his victory hear tonight!
Dave Holland: Both men have put themselves through hell, all for that belt. What a fantastic advert for our world championship and what a brilliant match.
{ “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps blasts out of the PA system as the referee grabs the world title and hands it back to Roberto Verona who is on his knees as he clutches it to his chest affectionately whilst the crowd are on their feet to applaud both men who had put their bodies through tremendous trauma. Mike Laszlo gradually gets to his feet as it dawns upon him that his challenge is over, but not through a want of trying. }
Eric Hardy: This match will be remembered for some time yet I feel, neither man will be the same for the next couple of weeks!
Dave Holland: They’ve done well to get up from that sickening fall, did you see how high up they were?
Willy Carter: Nothing else matters other than the fact that my man, Roberto Verona, is still our NCW World Champion!
{ NCW officials and medics enter the ring and begin to tend to both men, who are visibly showing the signs of a great deal of trauma as the crowd are on their feet for both men as we close on the image of Verona and Laszlo being helped out of the structure by groups of men and women. }
Dave Holland: What a show we’ve had here tonight folks, the landscape of New Championship Wrestling continues to evolve…
Willy Carter: Wait a minute, is that…..is that Nathan Webb?
{ The crowd roars as Nathan Webb suddenly appears from behind a curtain and makes a beeline straight for the ring where paramedics and officials continue to tend to both Roberto Verona and Mike Laszlo after a gruelling match. Reaching the cell, Nathan walks through the now open door and slides right into the ring, marching straight towards Verona. }
Eric Hardy: It looks like Webb is none too pleased with the champion and who can blame him after yet another assault last week on Collision.
Willy Carter: This chump can’t lay a finger on Verona remember.
Dave Holland: I think he is out here looking for answers, Willy.
{ Pushing his way through the scores of people hoisting the champion aloft Nathan begins to remonstrate with Verona who can barely respond in the state he is in after a hard fought gruelling match. The crowd are right behind Webb who has been the victim of Verona and Kelly’s machinations for weeks, though the CEO, who is a few feet away is none too pleased as she inserts herself between Verona and Webb, remind him that he cannot touch Roberto. As she does so the crowd erupt into boos as suddenly Xander Famularo comes charging down from the back. }
Dave Holland: Verona has back up here fellas!
Willy Carter: He is a defenceless man!
Eric Hardy: Even I will have to agree with Willy on this one, after what he and Mike just went through he is in no state to defend himself.
{ However, just as Famularo is inches away from the cell suddenly everyone’s attention is drawn upward, to the rafters above the cell. The crowd watch with astonishment as two figures, dressed in black combat gear and full face masks suddenly begin to descend on wires, gradually arriving to the roof of the cell. Reaching into a bag on one of their backs they produce a set of large wire cutters and begin to methodically cut their way through the roof of the structure. }
Eric Hardy: What the hell?
Dave Holland: Who on earth are these people!?
{ After a few moments the pair begin to rip open a section of the cells roof and, without detaching their wires, they drop down through the gap and drop inside the ring as the crew attending to both Roberto and Mike frantically pull the pair away from the maelstrom leaving Nathan Webb stand defiantly alone. The crowd begin to will him on as Xander simply watches from outside the ring, smiling to himself, as Kelly hops out of the ring and watches from the mats. Webb’s switches his gaze between the pair as they detach themselves from their harnesses before they begin to circle Nathan but before he can respond one of the figures, who appears to be female runs and leaps on him from behind, sending him towards the male figure who rushes forward and begins to assault him as well. Webb does his best to fight of his assailants but he is soon overcome. }
Dave Holland: Nathan hasn’t had the best of evenings….. what is the purpose of this?
Willy Carter: I am just glad Roberto got out OK…..and Mike too I guess. Be careful Kelly!
Eric Hardy: Webb just keeps putting his body on the line to fight for his beliefs, you have to admire his resilience.
{ Satisfied with their work the duo back away, watching as Nathan slumps lifelessly to the mat. Outside the cell Xander simply begins to clap before walking backwards and catching up with Roberto as Kelly follows suit. The crowd begin to boo as the pair return to their harnesses, which still hang down through the cell before they begin to re-attach themselves before, one after the other,they start to climb their wires back up through the top of the cell and, just as swiftly as they arrived, with a flick of a button they ascend back up to the rafters as a few paramedics who were left behind go to tend to Nathan who gradually comes around. }
Eric Hardy: I’m not sure what to say folks, just when you think all the questions have been answered some more appear to confuse you further.
Willy Carter: All that matters is the greatest champion of our time, alongside Xander, is still our world champion.
Dave Holland: I just hope we learn a little more on Collision, but until then, good night folks and thanks for watching!
{ The NCW copyright logo appears as the camera suddenly points up at the rafters before fading back to the shot of Nathan Webb gradually being brought around by paramedics and officials as Metamorphosis 2013 draws to a conclusion after an amazing night. }
