Do I blame Joe Everyman for being pissed off at The Ace and going off at the end of the match with steel chairs taking out The Ace and myself?
No.
Does that mean that it doesn’t piss me off?
No.
You were angry and you lashed out Joe and that’s perfectly fine because we’re people and that’s what we do. What you didn’t do Joe was realize the consequences of your actions because now…
I’M ANGRY!
You did what you did out of anger, and this Sunday, I’m going to return the favor and beat the holy high hell out of you. Then? Who knows? Maybe I’ll exit the ring after I beat you, I’ll walk over to that cute little announcer Amber, kindly ask her to get up from her seat, take said seat, and wrap it around your body multiple times.
Don’t deserve the right to get back at you?
Sorry son, that’s the breaks. Revenge, especially in this business, seems to always equal ratings, and the brass here in NCW know that, hence we’re in a match this week. I just want you to know Joe, that this week, when the two of us step inside that ring…it’s the opposite of normal. It’s not just business, it’s damn sure personal.
You did me wrong, and this week I return the favor. I’m going to return the favor tenfold and by the end of the night, people will be wondering why you had such glamorous aspirations as competing in the Coliseum match at Sovereign, because after Collision, they’ll be carting you out of the arena, and people will be wondering if you’ll even make it to next week let alone Sovereign.
As far as the Coliseum itself goes, you can bet your ass that I plan on being in that match. Some of the greatest that NCW have had to offer have competed in that match and won their shot at the World Title. After Collision, the world will know that I mean business once more.
The stipulation with Roberto? It means nothing compared to the prestige of the stipulation that comes with winning the Coliseum, and I’m sure that rules will be bent to have a classic main event at A Night To Remember. Worry Verona, because I’ve found my loophole and I plan on taking full advantage of it.
I do digress however. I need to go back to the man who can’t stop bitching and moaning about his status in this company. A man who wishes he’s done things that I’ve done. Yes Joe, you’ve been a three time National Champion, and yes you have the longest track record in this company. There’s a problem though with the words you’re spewing from your overactive mouth. You neglect to tell everyone that you are NCW’s biggest loser. You’ve had success, no doubt, but when it comes to the big one, you just can’t get it done.
You can call me a hypocrite if you please, but the fact of the matter is simple. Two men are stepping into that ring Sunday night with similar goals and aspirations in mind. Our paths are the same Joe. There’s only but one difference, yours ends as mine goes on to the Coliseum and then A Night to Remember.
The Ace can mock it all he wants, but the three words remain the same…
WANT!
TAKE!
HAVE!
I want one more shot at the World Title, and the Coliseum is the only way to get in. I will take said opportunity and win that prestigious match. Then, at the end of my path…I will finally win what escaped my grasp on three separate occasions. I will HAVE the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!
No.
Does that mean that it doesn’t piss me off?
No.
