MATCH FOUR
Will Washington v Andrew Jacobsen
Singles Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in it’s rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before starting down the ramp.}Amber Ashe: “The following contest is set for one fall.... Making his way to the ring..... From Cambridge, Massachusetts..... Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-two pounds.… ‘The Patriotic Paragon' WILL WASHINGTON!”
{Washington walks down the ramp with a certain swagger as the feeling of superiority washes over him. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and smirks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start.}Dave Holland: "Will Washington was unable to wrest the belt away from Roberto Verona last weekend, and he wasn't happy about it."
Eric Hardy: "It took a low blow to put him down. Verona shouldn't be proud of the way he won, but you know he is."
Willy Carter: "A win's a win. Now Will thinks he deserves another shot? Get out of here, you bum!"
Eric Hardy: "Washington says he's going to get to Verona again, and I wouldn't want to be standing in his way."
{A loud air raid siren splits the air as the main guitar riff of "Indestructible" hits, and Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, making a gun shape with his hand, and pulls his thumb across his throat as a mass of red and green pyro goes off behind him.} Amber Ashe: "And the opponent.... From Minneapolis, Minnesota.... Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-five pounds... ANDREW JACOBSEN!"
{Jacobsen walks down the ramp, staring dead at the ring, and pulls himself up onto the apron. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves as he waits for the match to start.}Eric Hardy: "Andrew Jacobsen is coming off a big victory over Nathan Webb at Crossroads, and you have to believe he's got big things on his mind."
Dave Holland: "One of them has to be beating Washington. This guy tormented him all last year, and the last time they wrestled, Will left him broken and beaten."
Willy Carter: "Jacobsen's a man on a mission. He's looking better than ever!"
Dave Holland: "Everyone's been looking forward to this match since it was first announced. Let's hope it delivers!"
{The bell rings and this match is underway. The two competitors converge on the center of the ring and lock up in a Collar-in-Elbow Tie-up. Washington gets the early advantage, pulling Jacobsen into a Side Hidelock. Jacobsen hooks his arm around Will's waist and lifts him up, looking for a Belly to Back Suplex, but Will slips over and lands on his feet behind AJ. He pushes Jacobsen forward into the ropes and looks for the roll up, but AJ hooks his arms under the top rope and Will rolls back and onto his feet. He gets up and quickly ducks as Jacobsen comes with a Clothesline. Jacobsen spins around and ducks a Roundhouse Kick from Will, rolling him up into a School Boy Pin. 1.... Both men get to their feet and Will hits AJ with a knee to the gut, causing him to bend forward. Washington hits the ropes and looks to attack, but Jacobsen surprises him with the Bridging Borealis Suplex. 1... 2. Washington kicks out. Jacobsen grabs Will as he gets to his feet and hooks him up for a Snap Suplex, but Will blocks it and delivers one of his own. He quickly hits the ropes and comes down with a Running Senton across the chest of his opponent before hooking the leg. 1... Jacobsen gets his shoulder up.}Willy Carter: "These guys have faced each other so many times, you just know they know each others' every move."
Dave Holland: "They're going to be very evenly matched. Someone is going to have to bust out some surprises if they want to win this one."
{Washington guides Jacobsen to his feet and backs him up with a European Uppercut. Andrew shakes the hit off and quickly fires back with an Uppercut of his own. Washington hits another, and the two trade Uppercuts back and forth until Jacobsen gets the advantage and knocks Will through the second rope and onto the apron. Will stands up and blocks a punch attempt from AJ, backing him way from the ropes. Washington quickly leaps to the top rope and springboards off, nailing Jacobsen with an AJ Styles-esque Flying Forearm. Will leaps to his feet and stands over the fallen Jacobsen and yells out 'CANNONBALL!' to the crowd, before jumping high in the air. As he comes down for his Cannonball Legdrop, Andrew rolls out of the way and Will's backside crashes to the mat. Jacobsen gets to his feet and hits the ropes, coming off and hitting the seated opponent with a Running Dropkick to the side of the head.}Eric Hardy: "Nice dodge and attack there by Jacobsen."
Willy Carter: "My boy AJ is a technical wizard."
{Andrew goes for the pin. 1... 2. Washington shoots his arm off of the mat. Jacobsen catches the free arm and traps it, bringing Washington back to a seated position. Jacobsen looks to lock on the Crossface Chickenwing, but Washington pushes himself up to his knees, and then to his feet. Jacobsen manages to lock on the standing Chickenwing Facelock before jumping up and wrapping around his opponent, trying to bring him back down to the mat. After a few seconds of struggling, Washington drops back down to a knee. Referee Dafoe asks Washington if he wants to tap out, but the wrestler refuses, before pushing back up to a vertical base. Will backs towards the corner turnbuckles and slams his weight into them, crushing Jacobsen in the corner. Another slam into the turnbuckles causes AJ to break his hold, and Washington quickly spins around, nailing a Codebreaker that sends AJ flying back. Will lifts AJ and places him up on the top turnbuckle, before climbing up as well. He hooks Jacobsen up and leaps off, sending both men crashing to the mat with a Superplex. Immediately after the impact, he floats over into the pinfall. 1.... 2... Jacobsen gets his shoulder off the mat.}Dave Holland: "That high impact Superplex nearly won this match for Washington."
Eric Hardy: "I don't think Jacobsen is going down that easily. The kid's got heart."
{Washington gets to his feet first and watches as AJ follows a few seconds later. The 'Paragon' boots Jacobsen in the gut an pulls him in, hoisting up into a Tigerbomb. Jacobsen has the move scouted, and turns the tide by reversing in into a Hurricanrana. Will flies to the mat but it up quickly, missing wildly with a punch. Jacobsen spins around and grabs Washington from behind, dropping him with a German Suplex. The 'North Star' keeps his hands clasped, dragging Will up and nailing a second German Suplex... and a third to complete the Hat Trick. AJ stands with the adrenaline rushing through his body. He grabs Washington's leg and turns, looking for the Figure Four, but Will reaches up and traps him in the Small Package Pin. 1.... 2... Jacobsen breaks free. Both men are up and Will charges Jacobsen, but the Minnesotan catches him by surprise and plants him down hard into the mat with the Double A Spinebuster.}Willy Carter: "Ouch."
Eric Hardy: "Insightful commentary from Willy, as always."
Dave Holland: "I'm actually going to have to agree with Willy on this one."
{Andrew delivers an Elbow Drop to the heart of his opponent before hooking the leg. 1.... 2... Washington kicks out. Jacobsen grabs Washington and guides him to his feet, before Irish Whipping him into the corner. The 'North Star' hits a pair of Shoulder Thrusts to the gut of Washington, and then takes a few steps back. He charges into the corner and connects with a Clothesline that crushes Washington in the corner, which is quickly followed up by placing Will on the top turnbuckle. Jacobsen climbs to the second rope and looks to score with a Super Arm Drag, but Will is able to hook the top rope and stop the move. The 'Paragon then pushes Jacobsen from the turnbuckles, sending him crashing back-first onto the mat. Washington then leaps off the top rope, crushing his opponent with a devastating Guerrero Splash! He lays on top for the pin. 1.... 2..... AJ kicks out!}Eric Hardy: "It could have been over right there!"
{Washington looks stunned that Jacobsen was able to kick out, but quickly goes back on the attack. Jacobsen rolls to his stomach to try and get to his feet, which leaves him in position for Will to grab his leg and lock on the Regal Stretch. Washington pulls back on the head, torturing the neck of his opponent, as Jacobsen tries to crawl for the ropes. The Minnesotan fights through the pain and extends his arm, reaching the bottom rope, forcing the referee to pull Washington away and break the hold. As Will goes back to attack again, Jacobsen trips him up, causing Will to fall down across the second rope. Washington stumbles to his feet into the waiting arms of an Inverted Atomic Drop that stuns him. AJ grabs the stunned opponent and pulls him in to Pumphandle position and delivers a sick Backbreaker, nailing his Cut the Strings maneuver. Lil' AJ is really feeling it now as most of the crowd gets behind him. He does a cutthroat gesture and heads to the turnbuckle, watching as Washington slowly gets to his feet. Will turns around as Jacobsen fires off a Lights Out Superkick, but Washington ducks under just in the nick of time, and before AJ can react, Will drills him with the Cambridge Calling in the back of the head! Jacobsen crumples to the mat in a heap and Will rolls him over for the pin. 1..... 2..... Jacobsen kicks out again!}Dave Holland: "Andrew nearly had his head taken off with that kick. Luckily he had the wherewithal to get his shoulder off the mat before the three count."
Willy Carter: "But he had better get his head back in the game if he wants to win!"
{Washington lifts Jacobsen to his feet, but the former World Champion catches him with a stiff forearm shot to the gut... and another. Jacobsen gets to his feet and pulls Will into position for a DDT. Will gets free and pulls Jacobsen in, dropping him with a Short-Arm Clothesline. Washington hoists Jacobsen up again and turns him around, hooking his arm across the opponent's neck. Will lifts Jacobsen up, looking to score with Ishmael's Revenge, but AJ is able to slip over the back and land on his feet. AJ spins Washington around and hits him with a boot to the gut, and immediately pulls him in and hooks the leg... Perfect Plex! Jacobsen nails his signature Perfect Plex and bridges for the pin. 1.... 2..... Washington breaks free! Both men lay on the mat for a moment as Norman Dafoe starts to count them both down. Andrew gets up first and lays in wait as Washington struggles to his feet.}Eric Hardy: "It looks like he's going to end it right now."
Dave Holland: "He smells blood in the water!"
{Jacobsen pulls Washington in to Uranage position, looking to drop him for his Lock & Dam hold. Washington responds by firing off a series of elbows to the side of AJ's head that break his grasp. Will jumps in the air and goes for the Jumping Reverse Bulldog, but Jacobsen grabs the top rope and Washington crashes to the mat. Will rolls to his feet and Jacobsen charges for the Body Check Spear! Will leapfrogs it and spins around, lifting Jacobsen up on his shoulders and driving him into the mat with the Joker Driver! He hooks the legs. 1.... 2..... 3!}Amber Ashe: "Here is your winner by pinfall.... WILL WASHINGTON!"
{Will gets to his knees and has his hand raised in victory by Norman Dafoe as his theme song hits.}Eric Hardy: "And he does it! Washington hits his finisher out of nowhere and beats Jacobsen in a hard fought encounter."
Willy Carter: "I gotta give him credit. He really pulled that out one of nowhere."
{Washington climbs to his feet and walks over to the corner, raising his arms in victory. He then steps through the second rope and drops to the floor, before backing up the ramp. Inside the ring, Andrew Jacobsen slowly gets to a vertical base and looks down as his opponent claps from the ramp.}Dave Holland: "A rare show of respect there from Washington, and it's greatly deserved. Maybe he's turning over a new leaf?"
Eric Hardy: "Well that's yet to be seen. But up next, we've got Joe Everyman and Mike Laszlo in action! You that's going to be a hotly contested match."
Willy Carter: "It's not going to suck, that's for sure. So stick around!"

MATCH FIVE
Mike Laszlo v Joe Everyman
Singles Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eric Hardy: Time for a little bit of a rematch tonight folks.
Dave Holland: Laszlo is out for revenge whilst Joe is looking to put his name in the hat for a shot at the big prize on the biggest stage of all!
Willy Carter: I just hope one of these chumps entertains us.
{ "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage hits the sound system as Mike Laszlo walks out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a favored reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a smirk comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a slow confident walk, ignoring the fans along the isle who want to slap his hand, Alexis close behind. Mike slides into the ring under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd who give him another favored reaction, as Alexis ascends the stairs and enters the ring. Backing into the corner Mike clasps his hands and loosens his wrists waiting for the start of the match.. }Amber Ashe: The next contest is scheduled for one fall, entering the ring first, from Cleveland, Ohio, Mike Laszzzzzllllloooooo!!!!!
Eric Hardy: Laszlo looks very determined to right the perceived wrongs of his latest defeat.
Dave Holland: It was a narrow defeat, no doubt he will get his chance to bounce back.
Willy Carter: He has the best chance he will ever have fighting this guy….
{Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}Amber Ashe: And his opponent, hailing from Washington D.C., Joe Everymaaaaaannnnn!!!!
Dave Holland: It’s the walking enigma Joe Everyman, one week he is pinning Adam Knite, the next he is jobbing to Tommy the Cat. Can he find some consistency and challenge for the big prize?
Eric Hardy: Honestly, Joe has so much talent, I still have hope that one day he will realise his potential, but at least he is happy in his life.
Willy Carter: This guy is a pin cushion.
{ The referee rings the bell and gets us under way, Laszlo tries to grapple Joe but he is too quick for the big man and he ducks under his grasp, kicking him the small of the back, forcing him to wince as he staggers away. Joe continues his assault by launching a second kick into his back before a third hits the big man in the back of his leg. Forced to one knee Everyman takes advantage and puts the big man down on the mat with a bulldog, but Laszlo is only dazed and he is soon back on his knees but Everyman spots this and he leaps in the air and hits a enziguri which resonates around the arena and takes Laszlo completely by surprise as Joe gets up and pumps the crowd up as they show their approval for the impressive early dominance of the veteran. }Eric Hardy: Good start from Joe who is looking to make something happen in the early stages.
Dave Holland: Keeping this Laszlo down will only help prevent him getting into this one.
Willy Carter: Fair play, but Joe will mess up, just watch.
{ Joe hops up on the middle turnbuckle and as Mike recovers he launches a jumping missile drop kick which puts the big man back down on the mat. Feeling the momentum is with him Joe jumps and hits an elbow across the throat of Laszlo before applying a headlock, but Mike wrestles him off quickly before he can get the move applied, realising that he wants to avoid being choked out at this early stage. Joe regroups and plants a boot into the face of Laszlo to make sure he doesn’t recover. Lifting his opponent up Joe plants him down with a DDT. }Eric Hardy: You were saying Willy?
Willy Carter: Why don’t you shut your mouth!
Dave Holland: Put the handbags away guys, for one night, it is all I ask…
{ Joe gets up and waits for his opponent to follow him and as he does he attempt to throw him over with an arm drag but Laszlo shifts his weight and then wraps a big hand around Joe’s wrist, who quickly realises he is in danger. Going for a second enziguri he leaps and swings hi leg but Laszlo see’s it an duck leaving Joe to spiral towards the floor. As he tries to scramble back to his feet Joe is put down with a big clothesline which slows the match right down to a pace Laszlo much prefers as the momentum shifts completely against Everyman. }Willy Carter: There, I told you so!
Eric Hardy: Did you think Laszlo wouldn’t get any offence in at all in this match Willy, everyone saw this coming.
Dave Holland: Joe tried to stay on top but he just felt the strength of Laszlo there.
{ Laszlo hoists up Joe and hits a European Uppercut which sends Everyman staggering across the ring, but he is soon hit with another big hand which sends him to the mat. Leaping back up Joe soon regrets his eagerness to get back to his feet as he eats a superkick from Laszlo which sends his head snapping backwards as he slumps to the mat. Laszlo goes for a cover, 1…..2….NO! Everyman gets a shoulder up much to Laszlo frustrating. Lifting Joe back up Laszlo whips him towards the ropes and as he rebounds back off them he nearly forces Joe to eat his boot as he send the veteran back down to the mat, almost making him bounce off the mat.} Eric Hardy: Ouch, good night Joe.
Willy Carter: Who is being unsupportive now?
Dave Holland: Joe just took two big kicks to the head, he must be wondering where the hell he is right now.
{ Laszlo considers going for another pin but he thinks better of it and instead lifts Joe back up and places him between his legs. Waiting a few moments he looks around before hoisting up Everyman into the air before dropping him back down with a thunderous powerbomb which rattles the ring as Joe hits the mat like a ragdoll, the wind completely knocked out of him. The crowd groans as Bigg places a mocking boot on Joe’s chest for a pin, 1…NO! Everyman gets an elbow up quickly, but this only angers Laszlo who rips him off the mat, wrapping his hands around Joe’s neck before hoisting him up into the air, leaving his legs dangling as Joe kick to try and get out of the elevated chokehold. }Dave Holland: Laszlo was a little cocky there, Joe was never going to be unable to kick out of that.
Eric Hardy: He had better hope that this cocky attitude doesn’t cost him the match, though it doesn’t look good for Joe out there right now.
Willy Carter: Choke him out! DO IT!
Eric Hardy: I worry about you.
{ Joe kicks as hard as he can at Laszlo’s torso and eventually forces him to release the hold letting Joe drop to his feet and in a desperate attempt he launches forward with a leaping spinning elbow which takes Mike completely be surprise and leaves him staggering. Sensing this may be his only real opportunity Joe sweeps Mike’s legs but this only sends him down to his knees. Joe hits the ropes and finally plants Laszlo with a running swinging neckbreaker. Taking the chance to make a pin attempt of his own Joe throws his body across Laszlo, 1….2…NO! Joe is thrown off Laszlo violently, sending him barrelling across the ring as Mike kicks out with authority. }Eric Hardy: Did you see the elevation on that shove?
Willy Carter: Joe Everyman can fly! Guess he has to have one ability amongst his list of weaknesses.
Dave Holland: Laszlo kicking out with authority, but Joe is going back in for the kill…
{ Joe circles back around and tries his hardest to lock in a Streets of Gold but Laszlo fights him off smartly spotting that Joe is looking to put him out of commission. Realising this avenue has been closed off momentarily he stalks Laszlo and as he almost gets to his feet he manages to snap him into a EKO! The mat thudders and Joe goes straight for the pin but Laszlo has managed to wisely roll to the mat outside to recover and avoid a pin much to the chagrin of Everyman. As he spots his foe slowly getting to his feet Joe hits the opposite set of ropes and charges at Mike, leaping over the ropes with a diving cross body….. }Dave Holland: Joe is going high risk…..
{ But Laszlo manages to grab the flying Everyman who is completely shocked, shaking his head he realises what is about to come, with Mike charging towards the ringpost with Everyman grasped tightly in his arms, wrapping his spine painfully around the thick metal pole. Joe scream in agony as Laszlo simply grins and rear back for a second bite of the cherry, but Joe starts to fight back landing several elbows to the side of his head, forcing Mike to drop his opponent who rolls back into the ring in a tactical retreat as he clutches his back whilst Laszlo shakes the cobwebs off on the outside of the ring. }Dave Holland: Smart move by Joe, he could have been in a very, very bad way if he hit that metal post many more times, I remember just how painful that can be.
Willy Carter: Joe Everyman actually using his brain? Am I ill? Am I witnessing history?
Eric Hardy: He needs to recover sharpish, I don’t think a few elbows will have put Laszlo away for too long….
{ True to form Laszlo has shaken off the cobwebs and he quickly slides back into the ring to avoid being counted out. Joe realises he doesn’t have much time to recover and taking a page from his opponents book he rolls out of the ring just as Laszlo almost lands a big kick to his ribs. Mike is furious and tries to reach over the ropes to grab Joe but he is mat with a big fist to the face which sends him back staggering in the ring. Sensing his moment Joe slides back in and lands a few more kicks into the back of Laszlo who yelps in pain with each strike. Laszlo turns and tries to take Joe’s head off with another clothesline but Joe ducks, elbows Laszlo in the back and then grabs his head where his strikes with a Twist of Fate! }Eric Hardy: Joe has got Laszlo here!
Dave Holland: I don’t think he is satisfied with just that move…..
Willy Carter: Why isn’t he pinning him?
{ Joe looks around the crowd who will him to cover Laszlo but he shakes his head and points at the turnbuckle which makes the crowd roar with approval. Joe quickly scrambles across the ring and climbs to the top rope and steadies himself, eyeing up his target. Sensing the moment he leaps into the air and flips his body, landing an inch perfect Swanton Bomb to Laszlo who clutches his ribs in agony. Joe covers Mike for the pin as the crowd count with the referee, 1….2…..3!!!!! Joe Everyman wins!!!! }Eric Hardy: Joe Everyman picks up the victory and could this be the start of his path to the big one?
Dave Holland: He has certainly stamped his name on the list of potential contenders with that performance.
Willy Carter: Maybe he isn’t as bad as I thought……
{ Joe climbs the turnbuckle and celebrates, clapping and waving to the audience before jumping down to have his hand raised in victory by the referee as Laszlo makes his way out of the ring. }----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAIN EVENT
James Warren (c) v Alex Jones
Singles Match
X-Championship Match
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eric Hardy : Welcome back folks, just in time for our main event!
Willy Carter : Alex is going to get his vengeance…
Dave Holland : This should be a brilliant encounter between two very talented athletes.
{The lights shut off as the theme song from SAW comes overt the PA, as we come to the height of the song the song it suddenly stops.
BREAK!
Blue smock nancy's "unsettling differences" blasts out as a spotlight shines on the entranceway. Alex Jones emerges wearing a black shirt with "prince of perfection" written on it, rubbing his shoulder where the X-Title used to drape. He walks down to the ring and leaps onto the apron sliding across it before getting into the ring and leaping onto the second rope instigating the crowd. }Amber Ashe : Introducing first, from Dallas, Texas, Alex Jooooooonnnnneeeesssssss!!!!
Dave Holland : Here comes the former X-Champion, you have to wonder what is going on in this man’s head right now.
Eric Hardy : I am sure he can’t understand how on earth he lost, such is the ego of Alex Jones.
Willy Carter : Well, he shouldn’t! It was a travesty!
{ “Skillet by Savior” begins to blast across the speakers and as it does James Warren emerges through the curtain to the sound of boos. He is accompanied by his wife Cynthia and smirks as he slowly struts his way down to the ring. Fans begin to boo loudly in his face but he pays no attention to them as he eventually finds himself at the ring. He slides into the ring and kips up to his feet. } Amber Ashe : And his opponent, from Charlotte, North Carolina, he is the NCW X-Champion, James Warrrrrrreeeeeennnnnnn!!!!
Willy Carter : Look at this complete idiot, he doesn’t deserve to be X-Champion, it was a disgrace!
Eric Hardy : James won the belt, that is what the history books will say, but Alex has got his chance to make amends for that.
Dave Holland : James looked impressive last week, beating Alex for this very belt, but some have called it a fluke.
{ The referee signals for the ball as Alex quickly rushes at James who is caught a little off guard and pays for it with an elbow to the side of the face which sends his staggering backwards clutching his jaw. Alex follows the attack up with another elbow to the back of the head as James stays hunched over which sends his down to one knee where he wisely tackles Alex to the ground to halt the assault. Alex fights his off hastily as James takes a moment to recover in the corner as Alex stares at his, fuming. }Dave Holland : Alex is certainly displaying how much he was disgusted by his title defeat.
Eric Hardy : What a disgusting show from Jones early on here.
Willy Carter : Shut up Eric, if the referee is going to allow this then it is perfectly fine.
{ As Alex comes barrelling forwards again James checks it and rolls athletically out of the way, as Alex turns he is met with a running clothesline which puts his down on his back, but he is straight back up ready for more to James’s surprise but the number one contender manages to pull off another clothesline which keeps Alex down a little longer. James bounces up and bounces off the ropes and as Alex gets to his feet Warren leaps into the air and wraps his legs around Alex’s neck to deliver a head scissors which sends his thudding to the mat. James throws his head back before pushing himself up where he uses his boot to roll Alex a little into the ring before leaping in the air and hitting a standing shooting star press. Hooking the leg he looks for an early victory, 1….NO! Alex is nowhere near done yet. }Dave Holland : Bit too early to end this one.
Willy Carter : Alex is going to make him pay for that, we all know it.
Eric Hardy : Both men want this title, it is a great show for our X-Championship.
{ James smiles, clearly enjoying himself as he lifts Alex up by the hair, bend his over backwards before planting his with a reverse DDT which causes his opponent to clutch his neck in pain. Getting onto his knees James scouts the ring for a moment before getting up and stalking behind Alex who gradually gets to his feet, fruitlessly, as James grabs him by the hair and sends him back down to the mat face first with a running bulldog. The crowd voice their disapproval of James’s series of manoeuvres. Throwing himself to his feet Alex swings wildly at James who dodges skilfully before showing off for his display of dexterity cockily. }Eric Hardy : Warren is a very good wrestler, but he lets his arrogance run wild too often.
Willy Carter : He’s a total idiot.
Dave Holland : Alex isn’t looking like he wants to play games tonight…..
{ Alex literally snaps and this time as he throws a left hand there is little James can do other than hit the mat hard after it connects with his face. James tries to get up but Alex is on his like a ravenous dog with a running knee to the side of the face which sends the number one contender barrelling across the ring. In a further display of fury Alex lays one boot into the ribs of James to send his rolling further, followed by another and then another. James whelps whilst clutching his ribs but he doesn’t have much time to rest on his laurels as Alex sends a series of elbows into the side of his head. }Willy Carter : This is fantastic.
Eric Hardy : It’s still very early on Willy, this is far from over.
Dave Holland : Such ruthless aggression from Alex who is determined to right the wrongs of his title loss.
{ Alex lifts James up with a great deal of force, yanking his by his hair, before delivering a knee to the gut, followed by a swift elbow to the back of the skull which makes James struggle to prioritise which point to defend first. Grabbing his victim by the neck Alex drags James to the middle of the ring and puts him down with a swinging neckbreak, but he doesn’t let go of the hold. Instead he gets up, brining James with him where he hits a suplex, then he repeats the sequence to hit a swinging snap suplex which shakes the ring as a few members of the audience applaud the athleticism of Jones, despite his apparent shift in attitude. }Dave Holland : Nice series of moves there from Alex, he is still capable of performing at the highest level and he is proving it.
Eric Hardy : He has been so close a few times, it is a surprise he has yet to capture the big prize.
Willy Carter : It’s all been a conspiracy!
{ Standing up he once again yanks James up quite roughly and attempts to hit his very own reverse DDT but as he tries to go back James uses his legs to kip up enough so that Alex lands square on his back with James landing safely on his knees in a harmless reverse suplex. Rebounding off the ropes he hits a running body block as Alex tries to reassert his dominance on the match but it is futile as James takes control. Using his momentum to his advantage James rolls Alex up, 1….2….NO! Alex powers out with force. }Dave Holland : Very close there for Warren, what a fascinating match. Neither men are well loved but both are very talented.
Willy Carter : Warren won’t win tonight, last week was a big fluke. You heard me, a fluke.
Eric Hardy : He beat Alex fair and square, you know it Willy.
{ James gets up and takes a few steps back to get out of the strike range of Alex, learning after his earlier violent swings. As Alex gets onto one knee, James moves forward, uses his opponents knee to get some elevation and he cracks his right boots around the back of Alex’s head which almost snaps it clean off. Making sure he follows through with his new found authority over the match James leaps in the air and drops a leg across the back of the Alex’s head which pushes his face firmly into the mat. As he sits right next to the side of Alex he takes his arm and begins to wrench it backwards, making Alex grimace in pain as he tries to fight off the pain and pressure on his shoulder as James applies the hold expertly. }Eric Hardy : Brilliant from Warren, if only he could put his ego in check.
Dave Holland : I have to agree….
Willy Carter : Come on Alex, don’t let this moron beat you!
{ The referee drops to his knees besides Jones to ask if he gives up but he is met with a defiant shake of the head and James applies further pressure to the spine of Jones. Grinning from ear to ear Warren continues to push Alex to his limits of endurance, the latter writhing in pain in the middle of the ring with no hope of a rope break in sight. }Willy Carter : Please don’t tap! Don’t do it!
{ Alex begins to punch the mat in to make sure he displays no pain as he grates his teeth, but he refuses to submit to James’s hold, the crowd watching in amazement as regardless of the pain it inflicts on himself as he pushes himself up forcing James onto his knees. Then with another push the pair are on their feet and with one last ditch move Jones sends a kick flying backwards into James’s shin which weakens his grip enough for Alex to escape the hold. As Jones turns around he is almost hit by a clothesline but he manages to duck but is struck in the small of the back by a back kick from James this time which sends his staggering forwards and almost through the ropes, but he manages to grab them and prevent this eventuality. James then comes charging at his but Jones checks this wisely and pulls the top rope down sending Warren flying to the outside. }Dave Holland : Smart move from our former X-Champion.
Willy Carter : He is one of the best there is, we all know it.
Eric Hardy : Nobody said otherwise, we just question his attitude.
{ Alex takes a moment to recover, shaking his arm to try and get the feeling back into it as James shakes the cobwebs off outside. Spotting his opportunity Alex takes a couple of steps back and in one fluid motion he uses the ropes to launch himself over the top rope right into the outstretched arms of Warren whose knees give way sending his down on his back. The crowd voice their approval of the bold move as both ladies are laid out on the floor. The referee begins to count, 1……

Alex gets to his feet as James shows little sign of life.

Just before the referee can reach ten James manages to dive with one last effort under the bottom rope. }Eric Hardy : James is still in this one, what a match!
Willy Carter : It’s ok, Alex still has this one.
Dave Holland : This has been an amazing encounter
{ James almost immediately regrets this as a hail of boots rain down from Alex who stomps the hell out of his foe, forcing the referee to intervene as James rolls around in pain, but he finds it quite difficult to contain Watt who is intent on dishing out punishment with very little care for his foes well-being. Nobody in the arena is quite sure how to react still as Alex finally begins to calm down a little bit whilst James slowly but surely gets to his feet. Spotting his foes revival Jones pushes past the referee but his impetuous actions seems to be reciprocated as James barrels forward too and with one big thud the pair clotheslines each other, sending the pair crashing down to the mat in a heap. }Dave Holland : Ouch! What impact!
Eric Hardy : They nearly took one another’s heads off with those clotheslines!
Willy Carter : Get up Alex, please get up!
{ Neither man moves very much, other than to clutch whichever part of their anatomy hurts the most as the crowd wills both men to their feet whilst the referee does his best to check on both of them at the same time. Alex gradually begins to shake his head, showing visible signs of wear and tears on that shoulder James wrenched earlier as the aforementioned just about begins to move his arms about as he stares blankly up at the roof. Alex gets to one knee and looks emotionlessly at his opponent who tries to get up himself, but he fails on a few attempts. Sensing this is his moment Alex pushes himself up and gets behind James and tries to lock in a hold to prepare for his finisher. Setting up the initial holds Alex gets ready to hit a Time To Burn but as he tries to swing James manages to wriggle out of the hold and before Alex can react James locks in his own finisher as he plants him down with a Lethal Injection! 1….2……3!!!!!! James wins and retains his title! }Eric Hardy : YES!!!!
Dave Holland : I give up….
Willy Carter : Ughhhhhhhhh this is terrible.
{ James is elated as his music hits, the referee raising his hand in victory along with his belt whilst Alex just sits up, a look of annoyance on his face before nonchalantly rolling out of the ring and walking up the ring cursing under his breath, leaving James with a quizzical look on his face for a few moments before he turns and begins to mock the crowd who boo at him heavily. }----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
Trent Helms Hall of Fame Induction
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We come back from commercial as a podium is set up, as Trade Yourself by Shinedown begins to play, as Ander Carvetti, Rob Diamond, and Zelda and Adam Knite walk out onto the stage}Zelda Knite - Well, this is sorta ackward.
Rob Diamond: Yeah....So play any good video games lately?
Ander Carvetti: Will you too just kiss and get it over with already.
Rob Diamond: Well, moving on, Tonight we pay honor to a man, who well have paved the way for many of us in Pro Wrestling, a man who once took me under his wing, and showed me a world of limitless impossibilities.
Zelda Knite: A man, who showed us, it was okay to be different, that being yourself, meant being something more.
Ander Carvetti: A man, who most of us, can call a friend.
Zelda Knite: A Influence.
Rob Diamond: A Mentor
Adam Knite: And a brother.
Ander Carvetti: I met this man, over a decade ago, I had no idea who he was, what he was capable of, or how he would forever change our business, back then, he was shy, kept to his self, but came up to me, seeing what I could do, he considered me a influence, as being very similar in size, guys like us, didn't exactly get all the shots, at the time, I didn't know he would change the way the world looks at Cruiserweights....I am proud to say, I've served by this man side, from the days of Project Mayhem.
Rob Diamond: You're not supposed to talk about it.
Ander Carvetti: Yeah, But tonight I will be proud to see, my close friend, finally break the barrier for guys like us....
{Ander steps back, as Rob Diamond steps forward}Rob Diamond: I met this man, back in 2008, and just seeing him in action, hearing him talk, him blowing stuff up with computer generated images, I instantly wanted to be him, I wanted to be Trent Helms, and I never imagined, that back when I didn't know what I was doing here, imagined him to come up to me, the man who was our World Champion, just sitting down next to me, and saying, You're gonna go far kid, He handed me, a lighttube, that was made to look like a lightsaber and said....Falcon....you're gonna be a World Champion one day....I chuckled, not because of the fact, he said I would be a Champion, but that he called me Falcon, He knew who I was, but mistaken called me by the wrong name, He then took me under his wing, and helped me become the complete package, I didn't ask, he just simply saw something in me, and wanted to see, someone grow up like a son to him, and I remember him, being the first one backstage to shake my hand after I beat Falcon for the World Title, and it meant a lot to me, as I can tell, it meant to him, to see a guy, no one gave two craps about, grow into a force unlike we never would of imagined.
{Rob makes a hand gesture to the fans, as Zelda Knite, taps him on the shoulder, and hugs Diamond in public, before moving forward to speak}Zelda Knite: I remember, the first time, I ever saw Trent Helms, is was when Adam was teaching me to wrestle, and was showing me, older matches from NCW before I came along, I saw this purple hair man, leaping and flying thru the air, some of the things he did, were simply....unnatural....I looked at my brother and asked, who is this, Adam simply laughed and said....Trust me Zelda, You don't want to wrestle like that man, I would ask more, but Adam called Trent in, to help me with my training, it was then, I met my brothers best friend, Trent helped trained me, and while, I wanted to be like my brother, I also wanted to be like Trent, who Adam bought in, to help get me to open up to the camera, and some people joke and say, Zelda Knite only exists to be the female version of Trent Helms, I don't know how true it is, but without Trent Helms, there wouldn't be a Zelda Knite, I wouldn't of became the pixelated princess, and I just want to say, I'm happy to see Trent after many years of suffering, finally getting his day....
{Zelda looks at her brother who, hugs her, as she moves back next to Ander and Rob Diamond}Adam Knite: Tonight, is the night, that NCW finally gives the world, what it's been asking for nearly four years, People say, that I am the man, most strive to be, The King of the Wrestling World, as I have nearly done everything, however, perhaps none of it, would of never been possible, without Trent Helms, the man who was there for me, by the side, from the first time we ever talked, to our Tag Team Title reigns, and ultimately, to the time he battled inside the ring, I ascended to the top of the Wrestling World, but as I said, I wouldn't of gotten there, if it was for Trent Helms, my best friend, who before I took the throne, I considered to be the King of the Promotion, the man who I looked up too, despite the fact, I tower over him, who pushed me to strive for something more, I envy'ed my best friend, and yet, pushed me, to become even greater then him, The Night I defeated Trent Helms in the ring, I felt complete, I felt...there was nothing I couldn't do in the world, and once upon a time....I costed my best friend, the World Championship, tonight, not only do we induct him into the Hall of Fame....but I want to personally hand him this....
{Adam pulls back his jacket to reveal a replica of the NCW World Championship}Adam Knite: Tonight.....I will hand Trent Helms the belt, I took from him, that I allowed Steve Awesome to take from him, but tonight is the night that my best friend, my rival, my best friend, and a personal influence to me......LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, I PRESENT TO YOU, YOUR NEWEST MEMBER TO THE NCW HALL OF FAME..........TRENT HELMS!!!!!
{I THINK IT'S GONNA BE A LONG LONG TIME, I'M NOT THE MAN THEY THINK I AM AT HOME, OH NO....I'M A ROCKETMAN plays as Trent Helms emerges on the stage, with Ashlie by his side, as he shakes hands with Rob Diamond, Ander and Zelda, who all give him a quick hug, before he looks at Adam Knite, who removes the replica of the NCW World Champion and lies it over the shoulder of Trent Helms, before patting him on the shoulder at Trent takes the podium}Trent Helms: Well, I just got to say.....It's about Time, I get my super powered ring!
{The fans chuckle}Trent Helms: To say, this is a long time coming, is a understatement....wow, for once, my silver tongue seems to have turned to lead....Wow...I really don't know what to say for once....Tonight, The fans are going to see a new side of Trent Helms, granted it will only last for about five minutes, but tonight, I'm accepting this great honor, not as The Spaceman who wanted to conquer this planet, not as the angry midget wanting to destroy thoses who gained this honor before me, but as the man, all my friends and family around me, It makes me happy to see, so many lives who I touched, but while they may all tell me, how I touched their lives, I want to take a minute to thank the men, who touched me, who moved me, to get to this point, The men who gained this honor before me, and the men who will gain this honor, the weeks following, From Dave Holland, who saw me as a worthy opponent in his final single's match of his career, to Lance Ryan, a fellow countryman of mine, who laid the bricks of this promotion and brought me here, Spike Kane, who pushed me to fight for what I believed in, Kyle, who is sitting at home, for amazing me, as a teenager, making me want to get in this business, Steve my greatest rival, a man who made me push myself to limits, I didn't think were possible for someone like me, to you....Adam....My best friend, I thank all of you, for giving me, the most successful two years of my life, in fightning tooth and nail for this honor......And all of you Primates out there.....Who sent me letters, email, twits, friend requests, wanting me to come back to this business, Without all the fans out there, This night wouldn't of happened....So to everyone in the arena, everyone at home, to all my friends I made in this business who couldn't make the flight in....I just want to Thank You ALL!!!
{Rocketman by Me First and The Gimme Gemmes begins to play, as Adam hugs Trent, as Ashlie quickly wraps her arms around her Fiance'e while Zelda, Ander and Rob clap for their mentor and friend}
