Eric Hardy: Welcome back folks, what a Coliseum match we just witnessed and now it is time to settle the first half of the last ever main event in our company’s history.
Dave Holland: It should be a very good match between two very good wrestlers, could we please drop the personal biases guys?
Willy Carter: Wooo yeah, my man Roberto!
Dave Holland: Your input is always so very valuable Carter, some stellar work as always. I spoke far too soon.
{ The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in its rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before smirking and starting down the ramp. }Amber Ashe: Making his way to the ring, the challenger..... From Cambridge, Massachusetts..... Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-two pounds.… Will Washington!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Seven
NCW World Championship
Roberto Verona (C) v. Will Washington
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{ Washington walks down the ramp with and acknowledges the fans. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and looks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start. }Dave Holland: Washington is here to seek redemption, but tonight he has to climb a mountain, but you just know he isn’t daunted by the challenge before him.
Eric Hardy: Will has been a changed man recently, but can he fulfil what he views as his destiny.
Willy Carter: Washington is going to get squashed like a bug.
{ Suddenly all of the lights go out in the arena, plunging it into silence before the sound of a ticking clock begins to resonate around the whole arena and the NCW tron kicks into action…..}{ As "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As boos being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head, the NCW World Championship wrapped around his waist, and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who heckle him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the abuse. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, raising the NCW World Championship high above his head as he awaits the beginning of the match. }Amber Ashe: And his opponent, from Florence, Italy, he is the NCW World Champion and the Saviour of New Championship Wrestling, Roberto Verooooona!
Willy Carter: I never get tired of seeing this man. 168 days of absolute bliss.
Eric Hardy: Even I will give him credit, to go nearly a month longer than anyone else has in history is quite the feat…but still….
Dave Holland: Verona is looking to book his place in the main event of the biggest show of the year, you have to admit he has the pedigree to do so.
{ The referee stands between the two men who stare each other intently, Washington sporting a cocky grin as he eyes up Verona. The World title is raised high in the air before it is passed between the ropes as the referee calls for the bell to signal the start of the match. Neither man move as the noise in the crowd begins to build as Roberto smiles and Washington’s head darts from side to side before he launches himself forward with a right hand towards Verona’s jaw, but the champion manages to duck and emerge unscathed as the two men begin to circle one another before locking up. They struggle for a moment before Washington gets the upper hand and applies a headlock before Roberto manages to push Washington off of him and into the ropes before landing a clothesline on the challenger. }Dave Holland: It is deafening in here, there is so much at stake for both men in this penultimate match of the pay per view.
Eric Hardy: Yes, we will find out who the gladiator is going to face, which will make the Coliseum very interesting.
Willy Carter: They will be facing Roberto, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
{ Washington bounces up quickly from the clothesline only to be dropped again by a running knee to the face which keeps him down for a few moments longer. Before he has an opportunity to get up of his own accord Verona grabs his head and lifts him up before landing an uppercut to Will’s jaw which sends him staggering toward one of the corners where he lays up against the turnbuckles until Verona comes charging towards him where he lands a clothesline which sends spit flying out of Washington’s mouth as he has the wind knocked out of him. Verona walks back towards Washington and begins to lay right hands into the challengers face as he looks into the crowd with a cocky grin with connecting fist before the referee pulls Verona off of Will and begins to chastise him. }Dave Holland: Verona is getting on top early on here, proving exactly why he is the World Champion.
Eric Hardy: He may be Champion in name, but he certainly isn’t be deed, he is just pushing his weight around, it is disgraceful.
Willy Carter: Whine, whine, whine, the only positive if Verona loses tonight will be not having to hear you bitch about him anymore.
{ Verona eventually gets tired of his lecture and pushes his way past the referee but in the meantime Washington has been able to regain his composure and comes charging out of the corner before diving towards the mat where he connects with Roberto’s kneecap, driving his should deep into it causing the champion to buckle and fall to one knee. In one swift movement Will lifts himself up and lands a vicious right hand across Roberto’s face which knocks him down onto the mat where he rolls and gets back onto his feet only to be dropped by a dropkick which sends him crashing down to the mat. Washington makes sure he doesn’t waste the opening and climbs on top of Verona and begins to rain down with some vicious elbows to Verona’s face. Washington notices the referee approaching and he quickly stops and throws his hands up in the air in a declaration of innocence before landing one final elbow which leaves Roberto laid out on the mat. }Eric Hardy: I suddenly feel a lot better. Funny how that happens.
Dave Holland: The crowd appear to be enjoying that little bit of street justice that Washington dished out, they want to see Verona get his here tonight, although there are some pockets of fanatical support for him…
Willy Carter: Don’t hurt that face, we need it to sell tickets! Washington is jeopardising our income!
{ Holding his hands up mockingly Will paces backwards away from Verona but Roberto uses the time he has been given to charge at Washington before landing a clothesline to send Washington down who just bounces straight back up only to be met with another clotheslines which keeps him down. Taking his opening Verona bounces off of the rope and as Washington manages to get up to one knee he grabs his head and lands a DDT before he begins to apply a headlock to Washington. Finding himself in a precarious position Washington begins to sprawl his arms out looking for an escape route and luckily a rope is inches away, forcing Verona to break the hold much to the champions annoyance. }Dave Holland: Will gets out of that one in the nick of time! This has been very good thus far, but who will get the break out moment to push for victory?
Eric Hardy: I can’t say I like either man….but I don’t know which I want to see hurt the most.
Willy Carter: I wish they’d just come and hurt you.
{ As Roberto lets off some steam Washington rolls backward and gets up quickly and lays a boot across Verona’s jaw whilst he isn’t paying attention which catches him completely by surprise before circling towards the ropes as he regroups and plots his next move, taking a moment to recover. Deciding quickly he races back at Verona but he is met by a charging Roberto who has recovered as he collides with his midriff sending him shoulder first to the mat before he begins to lay right hands into Will’s skull. Realising he can’t land any more he gets up and runs against the ropes as Washington sits up and lands a vicious knee to the skull which sends the challenger straight back down before he stops at the topes, grabbing them and shooting a sadistic smile down at the fans. }Eric Hardy: I wish somebody would wipe that grin off of his face.
Dave Holland: He has been the champion for months, he has a right to be cocky, he has earned it.
Willy Carter: Yeah Hardy, how about you shut up for once.
{ Will clutches his face and shakes off the cobwebs but Verona quickly returns his attention to Will, learning from earlier, and grabs him by the hair, raising him to his feet but promptly sends him back down with a chokeslam backbreaker before leaping in the air and driving a knee into the veteran’s face. Washington clutches his nose as Verona begins to stomp all across his torso before being pulled off by the referee who is promptly pushed to one side violently as Roberto makes sure to deliver one final boot to Washington’s face. The crowd begins to boo heavily as he stares around and smiles before turning back to hoist Washington to his feet, making sure he doesn’t get another opening to get back into the match. Roberto quickly launches a knee into the gut of Washington before dropping a vicious elbow across the back of his head which sends him down onto one knee. Spotting an opportunity to lay another knee into the head of Will Roberto bounces off of the ropes only for Washington to raise up from one knee and send Verona flipping high into the air over his back. }Dave Holland: Roberto’s plan just backfired there! Washington is back into this match but it is still just way too close to call.
Eric Hardy: He took his eye of the ball and paid for it, luckily for all of us.
Willy Carter: He is putting on a spectacle, nobody has paid to watch a squash match.
{ Washington spots Verona sitting up clutching his back and quickly bounces off the opposite set of ropes and hits a hasty dropkick to his face which send him crashing backwards, his head bouncing off of the mat. Washington begins to stalk his prey and the moment Verona manages to get back to his feet he grabs his arm and applies an arm wrench before hitting a hook kick which sends him straight back down to the mat where he came from. Will walks around the head of Verona, hands on hips, before delivering another kick to the forehead of the champion to keep him down. As Verona begins to stir Washington delivers a swift knee to the spine which resonates around the arena with a sickening sound. }Dave Holland: Ouch, Verona certainly looks like he felt that one.
Eric Hardy: Washington is making sure that Verona stays down, and stays down for some time here. He needs to keep the champion on the back foot because the man is very devious and will find any opening he is presented.
Willy Carter: Come on Roberto, I want to see you in a months time!
{ Washington hoists Verona up before quickly dropping him back down again with a neckbreaker which causes the ring to shake violently before he too leaps in the air and lands a elbow to Verona’s face, rolling to jump quickly back to his feet. Washington turns back around and spots Verona has managed to make it onto one knee and in one swift move he leaps in the air and brings his knees down towards Roberto’s neck as he goes for a sickening knee to the back of the skull! Roberto however spots the move and manages to pull his head out of the way in the nick of time leaving Washington to land straight on the mat below before he hits him with a clothesline to send both men down to the mat as they lay on their backs. Verona is still hurting from the neckbreaker and it is Washington who manages to get up first. He wastes no time before he leaps towards Verona and begins to apply a sleeper hold to the prone champion to keep him down on the mat. }Eric Hardy: Will is wasting no time keeping Verona grounded, a smart strategy and he is throwing everything he has got at the champ.
Dave Holland: Roberto did well to escape what could have been the end of his good looks there.
{ Washington continues to apply more pressure as he looks to send Verona to sleep but the champion manages to start forcing the pair onto their feet, but Will keep a firm grip around his neck. In an act of desperation he begins to deliver a series of sharp elbows to the torso of Washington who eventually loosens his grip only to lay a fist to Verona’s face which sends him staggering across the ring where he seeks refuge against a set of turnbuckles. Washington doesn’t give him time to recover and he comes charging from a few feet away and lays a running knee onto Verona which sends him staggering into the middle of the ring. As he turns Washington takes a step forward and lunges towards him with a kick to the jaw which sends Verona straight down onto the mat. Washington quickly covers him, 1….2….NO! Verona manages to get a shoulder up much to Washington’s frustration. }Dave Holland: Will is getting so close to pinning the World Champion tonight and ending the reign on day 168.
Eric Hardy: I wish it was me kicking him in the face….
Willy Carter: Wow, butt hurt much?
{ Washington punches the mat in anger before picking Verona up and putting his head between his legs and hooking his arm before delivering a Tiger Driver which sends Verona down to the mat awkwardly. Wasting no time Washington spots Verona’s legs have yet to fall to the floor and quickly grabs him by the ankles as he looks around, smiling sadistically before pulling Roberto into the middle of the ring. With a quick motion he places his leg in position to lock in the figure four leg lock. }Dave Holland: It’s not looking great for Roberto right now being dragged to the middle of the ring well away from the ropes, he time as the champion could be coming to a dreadful conclusion.
Willy Carter: Kick him in the face Roberto! The face! Hurt this absolute idiot!
{ The referee drops to his knees besides Verona to ask if he gives up but he is met with a defiant shake of the head and Washington applies further pressure to the knees of Verona. Grinning from ear to ear Will continues to push Roberto to his limits of endurance, the latter writhing in pain in the middle of the ring with no hope of a rope break in sight. With all his remaining strength Roberto lifts himself up and begins swaying left and right as he attempts to reverse the move and place the pressure on Washington’s limb but Washington fights back as the pair struggle to gain dominance over the submission manoeuvre. }Dave Holland: Verona doing everything he can to break this hold.
Eric Hardy: Washington is in control here but neither man has managed to dominate this match up.
{ Each time Verona looks to have reversed the move Washington somehow manages to roll him back into position as they tussle for control before eventually each man lays on their side. Washington pushing one way, Verona the other before finally he manages to reverse the manoeuvre, both men laying on their fronts as Washington feels the pressure of his own submission move. As quickly as possible he struggles and manages to get his legs free from Verona as he crawls to the ropes, grabbing the bottom one firmly with both arms as Roberto begins to stagger to his feet. Washington doesn’t want to see Verona get back in this match and promptly charges at him and attempts to sweep his legs from beneath by diving shoulder first at his left knee but Verona spots this move and jumps over him. }Dave Holland: Verona has broken free and he needs to get right back into this now before Washington takes charge or his beloved reign could be over at the final hurdle.
Eric Hardy: Washington cannot allow him to get back into this after forcing himself so effectively on the match.
{ Verona lands on his feet and Washington stands up but before he has time to turn around Roberto wraps his arms around his waist and hits a German Suplex on Washington. Washington lands with a sickening thud as both man lay motionless on the mat before Verona lifts him up and plants him down with a further two german suplexes as the referee checks on the condition of both men when neither stir very quickly. Eventually Roberto begins to get to his feet, grabbing Will and lifting him up off of the mat. He quickly applies a kick to Washington’s gut and grabs his head ready to deliver the Requiescat In Pace but Washington scouts this move and manages to throw Roberto’s arm off of his scalp before applying an arm bar, which Verona reverses, twisting Washington’s arm behind his back. He pushes Washington away who promptly turns but eats a right hand from Verona who goes to throw another but is blocked by Washington who throws one of his own as each man begins to exchange punches with the other. Roberto gets the upper hand eventually and begins to rain elbows against Washington’s jaw before grabbing him and whipping him against the rope before charging towards him and landing a knee to the face of Will who hits the mat, his head bouncing off of it. }Eric Hardy: I really can’t call this match. What a spectacle, these men are both desperate to close the show next month.
Willy Carter: Verona can do this, I still believe.
Dave Holland: It’s going to take a moment of supreme quality to decide this one.
{ Roberto begins to crouch, urging Washington to get up with a grin on his face as he slowly stands to his feet. Verona charges at him, leaping in the air, before grabbing his skull and hitting an elevated DDT. Washington flips onto his back as Verona senses blood and looks to lock on The Inquisition (Sharpshooter) but receives a boot to the face for his troubles. Clutching his face he smiles again and cocks his head impressed with Washington’s resilience before turning back around and kicking Washington square in the jaw, who is promptly sent back down to the mat after assuming a sitting upright position. Wasting no time he hobbles to the turnbuckle and hoists himself up, launching off the top rope and hurtling down to land an elbow drop across the throat of Washington. He goes for the cover, 1….2…NO! Washington gets his should up just before the three count. }Dave Holland: This time it is Verona who goes close, but it seems neither man can pick up the advantage for long enough, something has got to give here.
Eric Hardy: This is an electric atmosphere for both men, but who has it in them to finish this?
Willy Carter: Erm, Verona? The World Champion? God you’re a simpleton.
{ Verona picks himself up and watches Washington carefully, staying a few feet away to avoid any mishaps as he labours over his next move. Before long Will begins to stir with a bloody intent in his eyes as he looks up to see Verona charging at him. In a split second decision he decides to lunge forward and attempt a spear and he connects with a huge thud sending both my men hurtling back down to the mat. Neither get up, Verona writhes around clutching his ribs, kicking the mat to try and divert some pain as Washington recovers after using up what was left of his energy to land the spear. First to his feet is Will Washington who stagger before leaning upright on the ropes, regaining his composure as his opponent finally begins to stand up as well. Will runs at Verona and hits a flying elbow to the face of the champion which sends him back to the mat, but he manages to get up as Washington goes for another superkick only for Verona to duck the attempt groggily. }Eric Hardy: This is getting insane, it’s like neither man can bear giving an inch to the other.
Willy Carter: Roberto has to win, he just has to…
Dave Holland: Nice move by Washington to get back into this, but it was matched by Verona’s ability to dodge that superkick!
{ Verona turns around as does Washington who goes for a clothesline but Roberto manages to duck again and grabs Washington by the head and falls backwards, landing a neckbreaker. Picking himself up Roberto moves back towards Washington and sets him up in position for a powerbomb. Steadying himself he hoists Washington in the air and proceeds to put him into the Fall Idol powerbomb (Crucifix powerbomb). The crowd erupts with a huge chorus of boos as he parades Washington around on his back, the latter shaking his head as he finally comes to and realises the predicament he is in. }Dave Holland: Verona needed to do something big, could this be it?
Eric Hardy: Look at him showboating out there! This could come back to haunt him…
Willy Carter: You mad? He is going to end this right here.
{ Will struggle as best he can as the pair engage in a battle of strength but finally Roberto comes out on top, throwing Will over his head and he comes down to his knees, sending Will neck first into the mat. Roberto thinks about going for the pin but he decides against it, letting Will’s limp body slump to the mat before he lifts him up onto his shoulders, marching around the ring. Verona looks towards the camera and shouts “This will be a Night to Remember” before tossing Will off one shoulder and striking him with an Ides of March! Roberto goes for the cover and the referee hits the mat, 1……2……3!!!! Roberto Verona retains his NCW World Championship! }Dave Holland: Wow….history in the making here tonight, but what a fantastic effort by Will, he went down with a hell of a fight.
Eric Hardy: I feel so bad for Will he has put up a fantastic fight but…and this feel hard to say, Roberto Verona has proven once again that he is one of the greatest world champions in company history.
Willy Carter: 168 days and counting for my man Roberto, Hardy, he is
the best! Roll on A Night to Remember!
{ Roberto falls to his knees as the referee passes him his championship belt, quickly grasping it to his chest before looking up and screaming with delight into the air as 168 golden balloons begin to descend from the rafter along with confetti. Will rolls out of the ring towards the barricades where hordes of fans come to commiserate him and pat him on the back to congratulate him for a valiant effort. }Eric Hardy: Will is distraught….
Willy Carter: Perhaps, but then he knows his time is up.
Dave Holland: Roberto is celebrating, and rightly so, but we must share a moment to commiserate with his opponent tonight.
{ Suddenly Roberto’s music cuts out completely and the two masked accomplices of his who’ve made their presences known intermittently hope over the barricades and slide into the ring causing Verona to leap to his feet, looking a little hesitant. }Dave Holland: Wait…what is going on now?
Eric Hardy: It looks like Roberto’s friends are here…though he looks less happy to see them than usual?
Willy Carter: They’re just here to celebrate…..right?
{ The pair approach him and stop a few feet away, pausing for a moment until suddenly the female of the pair reaches up to the balaclava which covers her face, gently removing it to reveal a head of dark brown hair and a grinning smile and presumably the face of the woman who had been spotted with Verona earlier in the week. Roberto looks at her before darting his head back at the male who proceeds to do the same, revealing a slicked back head of dirty blonde hair and a scruffy beard. The pair toss them aside before grabbing an arm each of Roberto’s who suddenly looks a lot less comfortable, openly asking what they are doing here before they suddenly lift them up in the air before the tron kicks into life. }Eric Hardy: Who are these people?
Willy Carter: Wait, guys…
Dave Holland: Look, there is something on the tron!
{ White noise fills the tron before it begin to intermittently flash on the image of a golden laurel, with each flash a letter is added. I. W. F. Then, a loud sound of static explodes on the darkened image of a man in a suit before the screen cuts to black. The two suddenly let go of Verona and walk backwards, slowly clapping him as he stands in disbelief as Sovereign cuts to a commercial break to prepare for our main event. }Dave Holland: Here we go fans, a lot of great matches tonight but it’s all be leading to this. The Coliseum.
Eric Hardy: A match you have a clear history of, you were the first Gladiator and tonight we’ll crown the Last.
Dave Holland: It’s hard to believe that this is it, this is going to decide the last person to challenge for the NCW championship.
Willy Carter: We’ve had a lot of great memories, and this will be something whoever wins this match will always be able to hold onto. The last ever NCW Gladiator.
Dave Holland: I can’t wait to see this match, these men have a lot to fight for and it should be fantastic.
Eric Hardy: You can say that again, and don’t worry Mr. Holland you won’t have to wait long because we’re going to find out our starting two competitors right now as the cage lowers over the ring.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main Event
NCW Coliseum Match
Seth Evans vs. Alex Jones vs. Shane Hunt vs. AC Douglas vs. Mike Laszlo vs. Joe Everyman
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Shane Hunt’s entrance}Eric Hardy: And it looks like Shane Hunt has drawn to be one of the first two men in this match!
Dave Holland: That’s good for him, means he has the most time to try and win this match, and can actually do so before anybody else other than this next man, even enter the Coliseum.
Willy Carter: Wouldn’t that be something, if the last Coliseum ended before all six men entered the match.
Dave Holland: Well that’s easier said than done but there is no time to ponder what if’s because we’re going to see who the next man is right now.
{Row by row, the lights throughout the arena all go out. The music has not begun to play. During the black-out, mist has started filling around the stage. It seems to take forever, but is merely just a few seconds until the instruments of "Stand Up" by All That Remains kick in, and the lights begin to flicker until a single spotlight shines up at the top of the stage, shining through the mist to reveal Seth Evans standing there with his arms out to his side, staring out toward the crowd that is cheering for him. A smile on his face, satisfied with the cheers that he is receiving while nodding his head.}I know no one had ever dreamed that,
We were this strong, and we'd achieve this,
So long the doubt, and all believed it,
And now it's come for all to see, yeah.
{With one swift movement, he punches his fist forward toward the camera in front of him and lunges himself forward before turning his attention back out to the crowd. Walking toward the ring, ready to compete, ready to prove himself. He wastes little time to get into the ring, by sprinting when he reaches the end of the ramp and sliding underneath the bottom rope to get inside the ring. As soon as he's in the ring, he jumps to his feet and goes to the nearest turnbuckle, pointing out to the crowd and giving them a thumbs up. Just by this symbol, the crowd gives him a louder pop and he claps his hands together to applaud the fans as a means to thank them for his support. He jumps from the turnbuckle, spinning 180 degrees, and landing back on his feet in the ring, and waiting for the sound of the bell.}Willy Carter: And it’s Seth Evans! The 2011 Road to the Gold runner up!
Dave Holland: He was so close in that tournament and gave Xander the match of his life, now he has his chance her to finally claim that world title shot that he fought so hard for before.
Eric Hardy: Some say he was never the same after losing that match to Xander, that it really changed him. Could this be redemption for him? I guess we’re about to find out.
Dave Holland: Yes, the cage door is being locked shut, waiting the entrance of the next competitor and this two are just waiting for the bell now.... here we go the last ever Coliseum is under way!
{The bell rings and the fans erupt as Shane Hunt and Seth Evans meet in the middle of the ring with a lockup with Shane Hunt getting the clear advantage as she shoves Seth Evans backwards and sends him flying across the ring. Seth Evans spins up and back to his feet but just as he does Shane Hunt charges him and levels him with a hard clothesline and then throws his arms up into the air getting himself pumped and trying to bring the fans behind him. Seth Evans holds the back of his head as he turns over and pushes back to his feet but that’s just what Shane wanted. He lifts Evans up into the air and holds him over his head with the gorilla press. Hunt lowers Evans, then pushes him back up showing an impressive amount of strenght before he drops Seth and lowers to his knee to let Evans fall across it with a but buster. Evans rolls away holding his midsection in pain.}Eric Hardy: Shaun Hunt is clearly using his size advantage here.
Dave Holland: He got possibly the best opponent if he wanted to just out muscle the entire competition, but he better hope that this can put away Seth Evans and wing it here, because he won’t be able to brute force his way through the entire Coliseum.
{Hunt grabs Evans by the head and forces him right back to his feet. Hunt wraps his hand around Evan’s neck and begins jawing to the crowd and Seth. He brings Seth up off his feet and chokeslams him right back to the mat. The fans get on the edge of their seats as Hunt makes the cover 1...2... but no, Seth Evans throws the shoulder off the mat.}Willy Carter: Wow! I thought we might have seen the Coliseum end right there!
Dave Holland: Seth Evans was dangerously close, but he was not going to be taken out of this match so easily.
{Hunt grabs Evans and pulls him up again, he takes Evans and kicks him in the stomach and is going to look for his WOLF BOMB but as he’s doing this suddenly the sounds of "Good Morning" Chamillionaire hit the PA System.}Dave Holland: Here comes entrant numbe three... AC Douglas!
Eric Hardy: He looks pumped, he looks ready for this moment. This could be this young man’s big chance.
Wily Carter: And he knows it, look at him sprinting to the ring.
{AC Douglas runs down the ramp as his theme music continues to play and makes it to the door and waits as the referee as to quickly unlock it. Inside the ring Seth Evans has just been lifted for the sheer drop powerbomb, but instead locks his legs around Hunt’s head and hurricarana’s him over with the reversal! The door is open as AC Douglas sprints into the round cage and slides under the bottom rope just as Hunt gets back to his feet and levels Hunt with a charge shoulder block! Hunt hits the ground but quickly turns over and back to his feet where he’s met with a drop kick from Seth Evans that sends him tumbling backwards into the corner. AC Douglas comes charging and blasts Hunt with a charging spear in the corner! Hunt comes stagger out and falls to the mat as AC rolls out of the way. Seth Evans charges in and jumps up on the top rope and falls down with the CLUTCH MOMENT onto Hunt! Evans quickly grabs a leg and covers 1...2.. but Douglas is there to break it up when he notices what is happening.}Dave Holland: Almost! And that’s what makes the Coliseum so interesting, these men not only have to focus on all the other opponents but they have to constantly make sure there isn’t any pins or submissions going on...
Eric Hardy: That’s right, this match despite others like it... is one fall only. Anybody can win this literally at any time, just as Evans almost displayed there.
Willy Carter: Makes from some of the most interesting wrestling I’ve ever seen.
Eric Hardy: you can say that again.
{Douglas grabs Evans by the back of the head and pulls him with sheer force off of Hunt and sends him sliding backwards in the ring. However Seth jumps right back to his feet and charges right at Douglas but AC lowers his shoulder, grabs Evans legs and flips him high up into the air with the back drop! Evans lands hard on his back and yelps out in pain. Douglas look sat Evans on the ground and smiles. He sprints to the ropes but on his way back to hit Evans with a move his legs are taken out from under him as Shaun Hunt dives at him and double leg takes him to the ground, then proceeds to blast him with several mounted punches!}Eric Hardy: Shane Hunt back up and he doesn’t look happy with the man that’s actually equal his size.
Dave Holland: Shane Hunt was in total control of his match until Douglas ran down to the ring, he doesn’t like the double team he took that is for sure.
Willy Carter: Well he’s going to have to get over it in a match like this.
Dave Holland: So true, because our next entrant is about to be called out and it’s only going to make the wild fighting even more hectic.
{The lights shut off as the theme song from SAW comes overt the PA, as we come to the height of the song the song it suddenly stops.}BREAK!
Eric Hardy: It’s Alex Jones! Alex Jones is coming to entre the Coliseum!
Willy Carter: The Prince of Perfection is here!
{Blue smock nancy's "unsettling differences" blasts out as a spotlight shines on the entranceway. Alex Jones emerges wearing a black shirt with "prince of perfection" written on it. He quickly throws the shirt off and sprints to the ring where the cage door is open and slides right into the ring just as Seth Evans is getting back to his feet and the two stare each other down.}Dave Holland: And look who is there waiting for him! This is going to get good!
Eric Hardy: I can see that already, these two have no issue telling you how they feel about each other.
{Alex charges right in for Seth Evans but the second he does Seth Evans drops to the ground and instead hits Alex with a drop toe hold sending him flat on his face. Evans grabs Alex’s ankle and grape vines around Alex’s leg with the ankle lock! Jones however is quick for the counter as he spins over and kicks Evans in the face breaking the hold. Both men spin back to their feet and charge at each other again. The meet with a lock up that Alex spins out of and takes Evans down the mat with a flipping arm drag. Alex backs away and throws his hands up, screaming for Evans to get back to his feet. Evans does as he’s told and charges towards Alex who kicks him in the stomach and then grabs Evans for the overhead belly to belly suplex but Evans spins out of it and lands on his feet! Alex spins back to his feet and right into a BULLTRUE superkick! Evans grabs a leg and covers 1...2. but Shane Hunt is there to break it up!}Dave Holland: Seth Evans almost takes it again just to have someone break up the attempt!
Eric Hardy: He’s getting close, these men better watch him because he’s showing how you win a match like this.
Willy Carter: And I can’t believe he managed it against Alex Jones of all people.
{Shane Hunt takes Seth Evans by the arm and hammer throws him hard intot he corner causing Evans to arch his back in pain as he comes staggering out and Shane Hunt charges at him with a spear but Evans jumps out of the way and Hunt charges into the ring post shoulder first, in obvious pain as she comes out and falls to his knees holding his shoulder. Evans watches in wait for Hunt to get back to his feet but he doesn’t notice AC Douglas behind him who grabs Seth and hits him with the tear drop suplex! AC Douglas kips up and looks pumped but as soon as he does he’s met with the AJ-GURI kick! Alex Jones quickly grabs a leg and covers 1...2.. but Douglas throws his arm up into the air. Jones gets back to his feet just in time for Shane Hunt to stand back to his feet holding his shoulder, he takes a swing at Jones but Alex catches his arm, steps over it and flips him to the mat with the AJ LOCK crossarmbreaker! Shane hunt screams out in pain as he’s locked right there in the center of the ring. He’s thinking about tapping out when suddenly here comes Seth Evans, he comes up and looks to stomp Alex Jones and break the hold but Alex Jones rolls out of the way just in time and kips up back to his feet. Seth Evans looks up and after missing his stomp and right into the PELE KICK! Jones hooks and leg and rolls over onto the chest of Evasn 1....2.. Evans throws his arm up to break the pin.}Dave Holland: Alex Jones with three quick near wins right in a row there! He is going to be a force in this match...
Eric Hardy: He’s so hungry to break that stigma of being the best wrestler to never win the NCW championship, he wants this more than just about anybody in this match I believe.
Willy Carter: I don’t know about that... I think one of these next two men could say the same...
Eric Hardy: I wonder who it’s going to be... three time National Champion Joe Everyman or the man who faced Verona three Pay per views in a row and this is his only way to regain a title shot as long as Verona is champion in Mike Laszlo?
Dave Holland: Well we’re about to find out....
{"This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage begins to play and the fans begin to cheer as Mike Laszlo steps out onto the ramp.}Dave Holland: Mike Laszlo!
Eric Hardy: That means we’re saving Joe Everyman for last, but it might be over before he gets here if this keeps up.
Willy Carter: These men are hitting hard and fast and this match could end at any second as they brutalize each other.
{Laszlo sprints to the ring and slides in where Alex Jones is waiting on him with several stomping kicks and axe handles to the back as Laszlo tries to make it back to his feet. Jones takes Laszlo by the arm and Irish whips him across the ring... no, Laszlo hits the breaks and instead pulls Jones back towards him and when he does CUTTER! Alex Jones never saw it coming and Laszlo makes the cover 1...2.. but Jones throws his arm up. Seth Evans and AC Douglas are both back to their feet and so is Shane Hunt, Hunt leans against the ropes still holding his arm in pain when Evans and Douglas both charge at him, Douglas hits the clothesline and Evans shoves Hunt in the chest and the duo send Hunt flipping over the top rope and to the floor below. AC Douglas however is then lifted as he’s already leaning half over the ropes by Evans who sends Douglas flipping to the outside as well! Laszlo brings Alex Jones back to his feet and throws him into the corner where he’s preparing to slap Jones across the chest with some hard chops but Evans rushes over and shoves Laszlo out of the way and instead knife edges Alex hard across the chest. Alex holds his chest in pain as Evans looks for another one, but he’s spun around and punches right in the face from Laszlo. Seth Evans spins around holding his jaw in pain while walking away from Laszlo... just what Evans was hoping for as he flips backwards and goes for his version of the pele kick GOING CLUTCH but Mike Laszlo side steps it and Evans just lands flat on his face! On the outside of the ring Douglas and Hunt are locked up in an intense fight of alternating blows as they hold each other by the head exchanging blows. Finally AC Douglas seems to get the upper hand and breaks free of Hunt’s grasp from his weakened arm and begins to pound on him with several shots before taking him by the arm and whipping him hard into the steps, sending him flipping over and tumbling to the floor in pain.}Eric Hardy: These men are destroying each other here! This is just amazing.
Dave Holland: So much is on the line, they have to give this everything they have, they HAVE to win... there will be no stopping any of these men until they physically just can’t even lift a finger.
Willy Carter: Which is what is making this a fantastic match so far.
{Laszlo grabs Evans by the back of the tights and pulls him straight back to his feet. He spins Evans around and the camera zooms in as he takes Evans by both arms and scream out “O-H” the crowd responds “I-O” despite being in Arkansas and Laszlo hits the OHIO! Laszlo takes Evans legs and goes for the pin attempt 1...2.. but Alex Jones is there for a diving break up out of the corner! Outside the ring, Douglas takes the arm of Shane Hunt where he’s leaning against the steps and then smashes it into the steel ring post. Hunt screams out in pain as he holds his arm in pain, but Douglas doesn’t care and just does it again.}Willy Carter: Look at the abuse my brotha AC is doing to that white dude, gotta love it.
Eric Hardy: I don’t see how Shane Hunt is going to be able to continue this match, that shoulder has got to be killing him right now and now it’s just a giant target.
Willy Carter: Espcially for a true classy brother like AC.
Dave Holland: That didn’t make any sense.
Willy Carter: It didn’t have to.
{AC grabs Hunt now and charges him into the cage head first and inside the ring Jones takes Laszlo by the head and locks him into some trapping knee lifts to the chest. Meanwhile suddenly the lights in the arena kinda dim as “Live to Rise” by Soundgarder begins to play and the entire arena jump to their feet for the underdog of this match Joe Everyman.}Dave Holland: And here comes Joe Everyman, the referee has opened the Coliseum door and.... where is Joe?
Eric Hardy: His music is play, the spotlight is pointing at the entry way but he’s not there...
{AC Douglas takes the opportunity and as the referee has the cage door open for the entrance of Joe Everyman, Douglas takes Hunt and throws him through the door. Hunt stumbles, he goes to try and fight Douglas off but his punches with his hurt arm just aren’t having much effect. Finally the spot light inside the arena focuses up and towards the rafters... where Joe Everyman is standing!?}Willy Carter: What the hell is Joe Everyman doing up there?
Eric Hardy: Ha ha, this is great, he’s making a grand entrance, that’s what he’s doing!
Dave Holland: Look at him, he’s being descended to the top of the cage and the fans are loving it!
{Joe everyman stretches out his arms almost looking like an american bald eagle being lowered to the top of the cage as the fans cheer. He unhooks his harness when his feet touch and begins playing to the crowd who are giving him a big ovation. Still on the outside of the ring Douglas and Hunt fight. Douglas gets the upper hand and DDT’s Hunt into the ramp right as officials come down and begin telling Douglas to get back into the cage which he smiles and holds out his arms like “come at me bro” as the officials push him away from Hunt. Joe Everyman steps to the ledge and looks to climb down to get into the match proper but as he does, he looks at sees Shane Hunt laying there on the ground. Everyman stands back up and looks and the fans jump to their feet as he points at the body laying there.}Willy Carter: You’re ****ting me...
Eric Hardy: Willy watch your... oh my God.. NO! Joe don’t do it!
{Joe Everyman has a wide smile on his face when he stretches out his arms and the crowd is cheering like mad.}Dave Holland: This is his chance to leave his lasting impression on NCW history... but my God... Everyman think about this.... Don’t try it...
{Before anybody can talk any sense into him Joe Everyman makes the gun signal and leaps off the Coliseum cage and SWANTON BOMBS right onto hunt.. THROUGH THE ARENA RAMP! The fans jump to their feet and begin screaming “Holy Sh*t” at the top of their lungs. The officials come rushing over to the scene that almost resembles a car accident as the steel ramp has completely caved in.}Eric Hardy: are you kidding me!? are you kidding me!? This is crazy Joe Everyman might just have killed himself!
Willy Carter: That crazy cracker!
Dave Holland: I can’t believe what I’m seeing, in all my years of wrestling I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it... Joe Everyman has just made the biggest highlight in NCW history! This is amazing...
Willy Carter: Too bad he probably amazingly broke his back and took himself out of this match!
{AC Douglas slides back into the ring where Alex Jones has thrown Laszlo to the ground as he stumbles back into the corner trying to catch his breath. Douglas comes charging towards Alex looking for a running pancake attack but Alex Jones dodges out of the way and Douglas crashes in chest first. Douglas backs out of the corner holding his chest in pain, Seth Evans grabs his legs from behind and pulls Douglas flat on his face where he then locks in an ankle lock surprising the big man out of nowhere! Seth Evans wraps his legs around AC douglas and begins wrenching on the ankle as hard as he can. Alex Jones notices what’s going on and charges forward to try and stop it but he’s grabbed by the arm suddenly and thrown to the mat where he’s suddenly in a crossface! Mike Laszlo cranks back on Alex Jones’s head screaming for Jones to give up while Evans is almost turning AC Douglas’s ankle to the wrong direction.}Dave Holland: Look at this, we have Shane Hunt and Joe Everyman incopacitated outside the ring and inside we have two concurrent submissions going on!
Willy Carter: What is this... why doesn’t one of them just break up the other’s submission, this is crazy.
Eric Hardy: They are betting they can make their man tap sooner Willy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen either man apply these submission quite like they are now... with so much force and like they are trying to rip that body part off.
{AC Douglas has a hold of the ropes but they obviously do nothing in a match like this but he’s trying to pull himself out of the move using them for leverage as he pulls himself up off the mat. Alex Jones is trying to pry Laszlo’s arm off his face by force but it’s don’t very little. AJ pushes up off the mat and tries to spin around but Laszlo just pushes his weight back down and cranks back even more on AJ’s neck. Douglas tries to spin around and kick Evans in the head but Seth instead pulls Douglas off the ropes after releasing the grape vine and still keeps the move locke din after AC smashes face first in the mat! Evans looks to reapply the grapevine but this gives Douglas the opportunity to spin over onto his back, put his boot in Evans chest and send him flying backwards into he corner. Alex during the same time manages to somehow push himself up enough that he’s on his knees now, he puts his elbow into the rib cage of Laszlo one, two, three times before Laszlo finally lets hold of the move. Laszlo takes a step back towards AJ but AJ spins around and catches him with a kick to the stomach. AC Douglas is holding the ropes testing out his ankle as Evans comes out of the corner and sees AJ with his attention elsewhere. Evans comes rushing and hits AJ with a clothesline from the side and both men apparently are too close to the ropes as AJ holds onto his attacker and both men go tumbling over the top rope, hitting the apron before falling to the floor on the outside.}Willy Carter: This is wild, what these men are doing to each other, it’s like nothing but a brawl, trying to survive.
Dave Holland: I’d say that’s pretty close to what’s going on here.
Eric Hardy: I agree. Spot on Willy.
{Douglas gingerly walks over on his ankle to Laszlo who is still slumped over holding his ribs in pain and axe handles him in the spin, putting Laszlo down to a single knee. Douglas grimaces as she steps on that ankle but he has no time to feel pain right now. AC limpingly runs tot he ropes and bounces off he comes back and nails Laszlo with the BLACKOUT! Douglas grabs his ankle in pain briefly as that was incredibly painful. Douglas however again has no time for that, he drops down hooks a leg and covers 1..2.. but Laszlo just gets the arm up! Douglas falls back and can barely believe it.}Dave Holland: AC Douglas thought he had the win there... he gutted it out through the pain and hit the move but Laszlo refuses to stay down.
Eric Hardy: I thought that might have been all she wrote... this match continues on.
{On the outside of the ring, Alex Jones and Seth Evans are locked up viciously taking turns blasting the other the man in the face with their fists. However Alex is able to get the upper hand with a swift kick to the man parts of Evans that draws the boos from the crowd. Jones takes Evasn by the back of the head and charges forward throwing Evans face first into the steel cage. Evans falls to his knees and Jones takes him by the back of the head now and at close range repeatedly drives Seth Evans face into the steel chain linking of the cage and rubs his forehead against that chain linking back and forth for several seconds before finally letting Evans go and watching him fall lifelessly to the ground with a giant smile on his face.}Willy Carter: I think Alex is getting way too much enjoyment out of this.
Dave Holland: He does that from time to time.
Eric Hardy: If there is one thing he loves more than talking about how great he is, it’s making people know it.
{Back in the ring, Mike Laszlo is pushing himself up off the mat trying to get back to his feet after being kicked in the head, but he gets a helping hand from Douglas who pulls him straight up off the mat and back up. Douglas spins Laszlo around and takes him by the head and leg and lifts him up for his NATURAL SELECTION but Laszlo spins around and comes out of it falling down Douglas’s back. Laszlo spins AC around and kicks him in the stomach before taking him into the gutwrench. Laszlo lifts and looks for his MALICIOUS INTENT but Douglas kicks his legs now and slides off of Laszlo’s back! Laszlo spins around and takes a forearm to the face that spins him right back around Douglas grabs Laszlo and lifts for another TEARDROP SUPLEX but Laszlo again spins around and lands on his feet. Douglas spins around again and takes another kick to the stomach and Laszlo grabs him into position and this time MALICIOUS INTENT connects! Laszlo flips Douglas over, hooks a leg and covers 1... }Dave Holland: This is it, Jones and Evans are on the outside brawling they don’t see Laszlo going for the win!
Eric Hardy: Mike Laszlo NCW 2013 gladiator!?
Willy Carter: Nobody can stop him!
{The fans are cheering something like crazy as the ref hits ...2.. the ref raises his arm again and the crowd is full blown thunderous applause as JOE EVERYMAN dives into the ring and breaks up the pin just before the ref’s hand hits 3!}Eric Hardy: Where did Joe Everyman come from!? He should be dead right now, there’s no way he should be in this ring!
Dave Holland: Don’t question his heart hardy, that man refuses to quit! A dive from a 20 foot cage through a steel ramp...
Willy Carter: 0, the amount of effs he gives.
{Joe Everyman rolls over breathing heavily after diving in to break the pin and Laszlo can’t believe his eyes as he rolls off of Douglas. Laszlo turns over and gets back to his feet just as Joe Everyman pulls himself up using the ropes. On the outside Alex Jones has set himself up quite the contraption as he takes a steel chair out from under the ring and places it in a sitting position and puts Seth Evans head on it, who is laying there unable to stop it. Alex climbs onto the apron and the fans begin to boo him as he dives off and plants the leg drop across the back of Seth Evans’s head and drives him through the steel chair into the floor padding below! Joe Everyman charges towards Mike Laszlo when Laszlo is fully back to his feet again and begins hitting him with several hard punches to the head. Laszlo is pushed back into the ropes where Everyman takes him by the arm and whips him across to the other side and when Laszlo is back LEVIATHAN SPINEBUSTER! Everyman immediately out of the move grabs Laszlo’s legs and puts him into the figure four right there on the spot! Laszlo yells out in pains as his back is killing him from the spinebuster and his legs are being wrenched by the figure four. Alex Jones takes Seth Evans back up from the ground and slides him back into the ring. Alex climbs to the rope rope and cockily looks down at Evans, he leaps off and SPIRAL TAP! Jones grabs a leg and makes the cover after hitting the move 1....2... but Seth Evans throws the shoulder up!}Dave Holland: How did Seth Evans kick out of that!? AJ can’t believe it... he thought Evans was done for but no, he refuses to stay down again!
Eric Hardy: Look at Evans, he’s a bloody mess right now, I think the impact with the chair and floor opened a big gash over his left eye.
Willy Carter: It looks that way, Evans is at a clear disadvantage now, that’s only going to make things impossible to see.
{Through all this AC Douglas has rolled out of the ring and is now on the outside grimacing in pain still from his ankle and the Malicious Intent he look just a few minutes ago. He walks around the ring and looks for an opening to get back into the match at the right time when suddenly he hears somebody calling to him from behind, he turns and looks and Shane Hunt big boots the door of the cage right back into the face of Douglas!}Eric Hardy: Shane Hunt is back in the fight!? What is going on... there is no way he and Everyman should be wrestling right now!
Dave Holland: I have no idea what’s going on right now Hardy... this is wildy, this is crazy... I don’t know how these men are still going.
{Shane hunt walks back into the cage and the referee at the door can finally shut it and lock it for good with the lock and chain as Hunt goes and chops Douglas hard across the chest as he leans against the apron. Hunt takes Douglas by the arm and whips him right into the side of the cage, crashing him face first into the steel. Mike Laszlo in the ring pushes up and and spins over, he manages to turn the figure four around on Joe Everyman who quickly un ties his legs through the reverse hold. Alex Jones leaves Seth Evans in a pile where he’s laying, not moving and is there as Everyman gets back to his feet to meet Joe with a hard punch to the face. Joe staggers backwards from the surprise attack, Jones comes with a kick to the gut that only causes Everyman to stagger backwards more into the ropes. Alex Jones takes Everyman by the arm and whips him to the outside of the ring... no instead in he whips him into Laszlo who catches Joe in the title-o-whirl but transitions it into the reverse pile driver... TOMBSTONE! Just as Joe’s head collides into the mat Alex Jones sprints and puts a two footed drop kick right into the jaw of Mike Laszlo that sends Laszlo arching back awkwardly from the impact. Outside the ring, Hunt dislodges the steel steps from the ing and raises them above his head as AC Douglas is trying to get back to his feet. Douglas uses the cage and Hunt charges forward and blasts Douglas right in the face with them and traps Douglas between the cage and steps! The edge of the steps open a gash right in the center of Douglas’s head and he crumbles to the mat as Hunt throws the steps down to the side. Shane Hunt grabs AC Douglas and drags him back to his feet, he looks at the steps and calls for the WOLF BOMB now, he lifts Douglas up and but no Douglas counters it with a punch to the face and falls off of Shane Hunt’s shoulders to a standing position. AC lifts his knee into the rib cage of Hunt, takes him by the head and NATURAL SELECTION suplex into the steps!}Willy Carter: Shane Hunt has taken a huge amount of abuse in this match... yet he keeps going...
Eric Hardy: That may have been the dagger right there though... Douglas blasted him onto those steps.
{Alex Jones grabs Laszlo and pulls him up off the ground, he takes him by the head and throws him up and over the top rope to the outside and to the floor. Laszlo hits the arpon hard and AJ focuses his attentions on Joe Everyman who just took that Tombstone. Jones grabs Everyman by the head and pulls him back up to his feet he takes Everyman from behind and lifts him up onto his shoulders where he’s in a reverse fireman’s carry. He’s got Joe Everyman right where he wants him for the TEXAS BRAIN SURGERY.. but Joe Everyman slides off Jones’s back, Alex turns around and is kicked in the stomach and TWIST OF FATE! Joe Everyman hit it! He goes for the cover 1...2...3! Joe Everyman wins the Coliseum!}Dave Holland: Joe Everyman has won it! Joe Everyman has won the Coliseum!?
Willy Carter: You’re kidding me the biggest underdog in the match? This is incredible....
{Joe Everyman throws his hands up into the air, he’s got the match won he’s the new Gladiator... but no! The referee is waving it off, he’s holding two fingers in the air, Alex Jones lifted the shoulder just in the nick of time!}Eric Hardy: NO! Joe Everyman was so close, he can’t believe we can’t believe it the fans who are on their feet cheering for Everyman can’t believe!
Willy Carter: Oh man, Joe looks crushed... that was his moment, that was his win and it just slipped through his fingers.
Dave Holland: I can’t imagine how he feels right now
{Joe puts his face in the palm of his hands and sits there in disbelief... it was so close. He doesn’t stay down long, because he’s kicked square in the back by Seth Evans who is back to his feet now. Joe arches his back in pain and Seth forces him back to his feet. Evans grabs Everyman and looks to drag him into the middle of the ring but Everyman begins fighting back with several hard punches into the stomach of Evans driving him backwards. Everyman sprints to the ropes and bounces off, he comes back but he does so just as Evans jumps into the air, he catches Everyman’s head in midsprint and hits the KILLJOY flipping piledriver out of nowhere! Evans grabs the leg and makes the cover 1...2...3.. NO! AC Douglas gets there just in time. Douglas begins smashing Seth Evans in the back as Everyman rolls out of the way. Evans forces his way back to his feet and trying to fight off Douglas and manages to shove him away. He spikes Evans into the ground and looks at the top rope, Douglas ascends to the top and stands the fans know what’s coming... the PERFECT 10! Douglas hits the frogsplash and covers 1....2.. but Mike Laszlo pulls Douglas off by his foot! Douglas spins around and kicks Laszlo right under the jaw and drives him backwards. Douglas kips right back up to his feet but Laszlo is right there with a kick to the stomach. Laszlo lifts Douglas up, turns him in mid air and NO MERCY lifting suplex stunner! Laszlo flips Douglas over and pins 1...2.. but somehow Douglas throws the shoulder up. Laszlo can’t believe it, he bends down to bring Douglas back to his feet but suddenly he’s spun around and TIME TO BURN! AJ flips Laszlo over and covers 1...2...3... Alex Jones wi.... NO! Ref says it was just two again!}Dave Holland: My God what is going on here!?
Eric Hardy: These men are going none stop, they are putting it all out here!
Willy Carter: This is amazing. Just look at them. They are furiously trying to win this match.
{Alex Jones can’t believe it, he screams at the referee that it was a three but the ref tells him no. Alex Jones now sees every man in the ring down or rolled to the apron. He heads towards the ropes and climbs to the top, he’s got Laszlo just where he wants him but suddenly his leg is pulled out form under him by Shane Hunt and he’s split across the top turnbuckle!}Willy Carter: Shane Hunt is still alive!?
Eric Hardy: He just keeps coming back for more!
{Shane Hunt steps into the ring and climbs to the middle rope, he takes AJ off the ropes and puts him in the reverse crucifix, Hunt dives into the ring and flying VICTIMIZATION cutter! AJ flies up into the air and lays on the ground lifeless. Hunt turns over and goes for the pin but before he even can. Joe Everyman pulls him back and spins him around. Hunt goes for a wild punch, but Joe Everyman blocks it and EKO! Everyman looks to pin Hunt now by flipping him over but before he can now AC Douglas spins him around and HIGH CLASS COMBINATION! AC Douglas flips Everyman over and goes for the cover but he doesn’t see Seth Evans climbing to the top rope. Seth Evans is up top and comes flying off with the WINGMAN shooting star press! Evans lands on both men and crushes them between each other. He has Evans locked in the middle of the ring! Seth Evans is locked in in the center of the ring and he has nowhere to go. He pushes up and stands to his feet, but is suddenly spun around by Alex Jones out of nowhere and another TIME TO BURN! Alex Jones limply throws his arm over Hunt’s chest and referee slides into position. Mike Laszlo has his back to the pin and the referee counts 1...2..3! ALLLLLLLEXXXXX JONES!
Eric Hardy: It’s Alex Jones! It’s Alex Jones! He’s the 2013 Gladiator! He’ll face Roberto Verona on NCW’s final show!
Dave Holland: I can’t believe it... Alex Jones pins Shane Hunt for the victory and Mike Laszlo can’t believe it. He had Evans... he was just out of position to see Jones making the pin!
Willy Carter: Seth Evans was tapping out, but it appeared to be clearly after the referee had counted the three.
Dave Holland: It was, but it was so close and he looks heart broken.
{Laszlo after letting go of the hold puts his hands in his hand, he can’t believe it was that close. AJ however jumps to his feet and holds his arms into the air screaming in excitement at the top of his lungs. Jones rushes over to the ring posts and climbs up, he stretches out his arms in victory as the cage begins to rise.}Eric Hardy: I can’t believe this night, it’s been amazing, it’s been one of the most exciting moments in the history of this company. Roberto Verona continues his historic championship run. Zelda Knite becomes the first and only three time World champion after two years without the championship.
Dave Holland: It’s been historic. Congratulations everybody, it’s been a hell of a ride so far and this is a great show to lead us into the final month of NCW history. Fans thank you for being here, and thank you for supporting us. Good night!
{Alex Jones is giving his Gladiator trophy and is holding it high into the air for everybody to see. The camera pans the arena standing on their feet for such an amazing match as Alex’s music plays. Shelly sprints to the ring to congratulate her husband and the two embrace in the center of the ring as the camera watches their emotional moment for a bit before the NCW logo is on the screen and we fade to black.}
