------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The pyrotechnics are at an all time extravagence as Cowboys Stadium is rocked by the fireworks show, explosions, and the roar of the crowd. The arena is packed all the way to the extractable roof that is open for the night sky to show through. The camera pans the crowd that is on their feet cheering for the final NCW production and makes sure to spend extra time}
Dave Holland: Welcome fans... it’s a bitter sweet moment. we have a huge card with great matches but at the same time when it’s all over... it’s over, because this is the final outing for NCW.
Eric Hardy: I can’t believe this is happening. It’s... I can’t find any words right now.
Willy Carter: It’s ok Hardy, we all know how you feel. It’s rough... it’ll be ok man, it’s been a hell of a ride.
Eric Hardy: Thanks Willy...
Dave Holland: Remember guys, this is a time for celebration. Lets not forget that until that finall bell rings. We have a great first match to get to.
Eric Hardy: you’re right Mr. Holland. We have an NCW Triple Crowner, Andrew Jacobsen taking on one of the most physically intimidating men in NCW history, JackHammer.
Amber Ashe:"Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is set for one fall, first coming down to the ring weighting 235 pounds from Minneapolis, Minnesota he is....Andrew Jacobsen!!!!"
{A loud air raid siren splits the air as the main guitar riff of "Indestructible" hits, and Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, making a gun shape with his hand, and pulls his thumb across his throat as a mass of red and green pyro goes off behind him. Jacobsen walks down the ramp, staring dead at the ring, and pulls himself up onto the apron. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves as he waits for the match to start.}
Amber Ashe:"And his opponet weighting 360 pounds from Chicago, Illinois he is...."The Chi-Town Terror"JackHammer!!!!"
{The Way of the Warrior by Hammerfall plays on the PA as JackHammer and Angel come through the curtain, Golaith comes through the curtain behind JackHammer and Angel. JackHammer then stops at the top of the ramp and looks around to the crowd before raising his left fist as pyros shoot off on the stage. JackHammer and Angel head down the ramp with Goliath right behind them as flame pyros shoot off along the whole length of the ramp to the ring. Angel and Goliath head to the corner as JackHammer climbs the ring steps, he then stops at the top step and raises his left fist sending pyros shooting out of the ring posts. JackHammer then steps into the ring over the top rope and removes his duster and bandana.}
{The referee signals for the bell as the two men lock up in the center of the ring. JackHammer quickly forces Andrew Jacobsen into the corner and lands a giant size lariat to the chest. Andrew Jacobsen fights back with a few punches of his own. JackHammer launches him into the far corner. Andrew Jacobsen hits hard. JackHammer charges in but Andrew Jacobsen hits the floor to avoid it. JackHammer flies into the turnbuckle. Andrew Jacobsen is quick to his feet as he lands a few punches. Andrew Jacobsen lands a boot to the side of the head that wobbles the big man slightly. Andrew Jacobsen whips The Chi-Town Terror into the ropes and nails him with a clothesline. JackHammer somehow stays on his feet. He's standing in the middle of the ring grasping his neck as Andrew Jacobsen scoops him up for a sidewalk slam!}
Willey Carter: What power by Andrew Jacobsen. Did you see that Eric!
{Andrew Jacobsen drops a knee on JackHammer who rolls out of the way in the nick of time. Andrew Jacobsen lands knee first on the canvas. The big man is to his feet. JackHammer charges into the ropes and catapults back nailing Andrew Jacobsen with a running DDT!}
Willey Carter: What? Did you say something?
{JackHammer covers him for the pin. The ref is in position.}

Andrew Jacobsen grabs the ropes to stop his momentum. Andrew Jacobsen charges and lands a big right hand to JackHammer. After a flurry of punches Andrew Jacobsen lands a kick to the gut that send JackHammer into the ropes. Andrew Jacobsen lands a clothesline. JackHammer fires back with a lariat over the back that floors Andrew Jacobsen. JackHammer scoops him up for an Argentine Back-breaker. Andrew Jacobsen rolls out of the ring clutching his back. The ref starts the ring count. 1....2...3. JackHammer is signaling for Andrew Jacobsen to get back in the ring. Then he slides out himself. Andrew Jacobsen quickly scoops up JackHammer and drops him throat first on the ring apron. Then Andrew Jacobsen whips him into the barrier.}
Dave Holland: Andrew Jacobsen has gotten a second wind and he's doing some real damage to JackHammer on the outside.
{4...5...6. Andrew Jacobsen picks up JackHammer and whips him through the ropes and into the ring. Andrew Jacobsen follows him in. Andrew Jacobsen is up and he drops a stiff knee on the back of the big man. Andrew Jacobsen waits for JackHammer to get up. JackHammer is on a knee. Andrew Jacobsen charges as JackHammer rises up and nails Andrew Jacobsen with a scoop slam. JackHammer drops a knee on him. JackHammer helps Andrew Jacobsen to his feet and hammers him with a torture rack Piledriver!!!}
Eric Hardy: How quickly do things change here in the NCW ring? Andrew Jacobsen was on fire but now that fire has died down as the big man has taken charge.
{JackHammer picks him up but Andrew Jacobsen hits him on the crown of the head with an elbow. Andrew Jacobsen whips JackHammer into the ropes SPEAR!!!! Andrew Jacobsen Andrew Jacobsen nails JackHammer with a running spear. Andrew Jacobsen hooks a leg and goes for a pin.}

{Two.JackHammer kicks out with some authority. Andrew Jacobsen gets up quickly launches JackHammer into the ropes once from his back. Andrew Jacobsen goes for a flying clothesline but the big man catches him in midair and drives him into the mat with a spinning side slam! JackHammer ascends to the tope rope and Top rope leg drop by JackHammer nails Andrew Jacobsen. The crowd is going nuts as JackHammer scoops up Andrew Jacobsen and drives him with an Earth Tremble! JackHammer covers him for the pin.}
Eric Hardy: WOW! What power and force behind that. Could this be the beginning of the end?
Willey Carter: I don't think this one is over just yet.
ONE

{Th..NO! Andrew Jacobsen manages to lift his shoulder off the canvas. Jackhammer pounds the canvas with his fist in frustration. JackHammer picks him up as Andrew Jacobsen fires a flurry of hard punches into the face of JackHammer. JackHammer launches him into the ropes and nails him with a big boot! Andrew Jacobsen is flat on the mat as Jackhammer drops all three hundred and sixty pounds on him with a huge leg drop. JackHammer picks the lifeless Andrew Jacobsen up. JackHammer slams him to the mat with a Military Press.
JackHammer picks Andrew Jacobsen up, Andrew Jacobsen fires a few hard punches into JackHammer's gut stagger the man back a little. Andrew Jacobsen takes a step back then nails JackHammer right in the jaw with the Lights Out! Andrew Jacobsen covers JackHammer as the ref counts 1....2....3}
Amber Ashe:"Here is your winner....Andrew Jacobsen!!!!"
Eric Hardy: The ring ropes have been replaced with barbwire and a barbwire board sits in one corner, while a box of light tubes sits in another. Strange looking devices that I am told are explosives are sitting on the floor. The turnbuckle pads are also apparently electrified.
Willy Carter: So we’re starting off with a match that isn’t for the faint at heart?
Dave Holland: Hell yeah! This is A Night to Remember baby!
{The lights go out. Then fire bursts from the stage. The lights return as "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce hits the speakers. El Dragon de Valor emerges from the entryway and raises his arms in the air. He then runs down to the ring and slides in, then rolls forward to his feet. He runs up the nearest turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air, waiving his hands up and down to get the crowd hyped up. He then backflips off the turnbuckle as flames shoot out from the ring posts and fireworks rain down from the ceiling.}
Eric Hardy: Dragon has been trying to make amends for his old failures since he’s been back.
Willy Carter: But his old partner still doesn’t think that’s enough.
{A Japanese flag unfurls downward from the jumbotron, covering the entrance as "Insomnia" by DJ Tiesto hits the speakers. Bushido steps through the flag and heads towards the ring. Nearing the ring, El Dragon dives over the barbwire ropes and hits him with a tope con hilo! He quickly scrambles on top of Bushido and starts punching away at him. Bushido pushes Dragon off of him and rolls to his knees. Dragon charges and kicks Bushido in the ribs. Bushido rolls over and scampers around the corner of the ring to get away. Dragon gives chase. Bushido starts running and jumps over the steel stairs, hooking the ring post to swing around. Dragon follows suit running after him. He jumps over the steel steps, and Bushido hits him with a side heel kick in the air. Dragon hits the floor and Bushido starts stomping on him.}
Eric Hardy: This action has gotten started fast and furious!
Dave Holland: I know a thing or two about broken up tag teams, there is a lot of pent up frustration to get out in that first encounter.
{Bushido pulls Dragon up and slams his head into the announcer’s table. Then pulls him down a ways and slams his head on the Spanish announce table. He yells some Japanese insults at the announcers, then pulls Dragon down to the French announce table and slams Dragon’s head into that one.}
Willy Carter: I always forget about the French announce table.
{Bushido then goes under the ring apron and pulls out…a kama! He holds the sharp object up so the whole crowd can see. He then walks behind Dragon and grabs him in a headlock with the free arm. Then slowly stabs the end of the kama into his forehead! Dragon screams in pain.}
Eric Hardy: I think Bushido is out for murder here!
Dave Holland: Okay, Milo and I never got that bad.
{Bushido then pulls Dragon up and rakes the kama across his chest. Dragon holds his chest in pain and his mask now has a hole in the forehead area, with blood flowing out. Bushido kicks Dragon in the chest and he falls back onto the French announce table. Bushido quickly runs up to the American announce table and climbs up. He charges across that one, and across the Spanish announce table, and as he moves to the French one, Dragon kips up and grabs Bushido in mid air, then slams him through the table with a Northern Lights Suplex!}
Willy Carter: My goodness!
Eric Hardy: Not the French table!
{Both men lay in the rubble for a moment, before Dragon rolls over to get to his feet. He happens to land on the kama. He grabs it and stands up. He pulls Bushido up into a sitting position, and then puts the kama into Bushido’s forehead! Bushido is now bleeding. Dragon throws the kama into the ring and then pulls Bushido up off the floor. He points at the barbwire ropes and tries to whip Bushido at them, but Bushido reverses and Dragon stops short of hitting the apron. He turns around and Bushido charges at him with a clothesline. Dragon ducks and goes behind Bushido. Bushido turns around and Dragon jumps at him for a hurricanrana, but Bushido continues Dragon’s momentum by pushing him up and over and Dragon lands on the apron of the ring…and chest first into the barbwire!}
Dave Holland: Oh! That is sick!
Willy Carter: I can’t look! I can’t look!
{Bushido pushes over the time keeper and grabs a chair. He smacks it into the back of Dragon while he’s still in the barbwire, digging him deeper into it! The crowd shrieks in shock and awe. Bushido throws the chair down and carefully rolls into the ring. Dragon peels himself off the barbwire and drops to the floor outside. He then cautiously enters the ring himself. The bell finally rings for the match to officially start. Dragon stands up and is a complete mess, bleeding from his head and chest. Bushido has grabbed a light tube and swings at Dragon, but he ducks. Bushido then swings it backward, but Dragon ducks again. Dragon kicks Bushido in the gut and hunches him over. He grabs the arm holding the light tube and the other end of the tube, and pulls up, smashing it into Bushido’s head. Bushido staggers back right in front of the barbwire board. Dragon kicks him in the chest, and he almost falls backward into it. So Dragon kicks again, but Bushido holds his footing with all his might. Dragon then gives another two kicks to each side of Bushido, then a dropsault, sending him flying back first into the barbwire!}
Willy Carter: Just think of all that barbwire ripping at his flesh right now!
Eric Hardy: This is far from the honor rules tag team that we saw last year.
{Bushido screams in horror as Dragon goes to grab two more light tubes and comes back and smashes them into Bushido while he’s trying to untangle himself. Dragon then grabs the side of the board and pulls it down, with Bushido being kept underneath it. Dragon stomps on the board a few times and then takes a few steps back, then sprints and lands a flipping senton onto the board. The fans squeal in sympathy for Bushido. Dragon turns the board over ripping it off of Bushido’s back, which is just a bloody mess now. Dragon pulls Bushido up and Bushido quickly lifts him up into the air and delivers the "Skydiver"(Sky High) onto the barbwire board! Dragon screams in pain. Bushido falls to the mat, narrowly missing one of the four explosive boards. He rolls out of the ring and looks under the apron again as Dragon peels himself off the board. Bushido finally found what he was looking for. He pulls out a glass case and slides it into the ring. Upon closer inspection, it’s a glass cage full of scorpions!}
Dave Holland: What the f—
Eric Hardy: Hide me! I hate arachnids!
{Bushido carefully enters the ring again and scoots the cage close to Dragon, who is still in the process of getting up. Bushido turns Dragon around and scoops him up onto his shoulder. He turns to slam him, but Dragon hits him in the head with the kama! Bushido drops Dragon and Dragon grabs him from behind and then hits a release german suplex, throwing Bushido into the barbwire! Bushido falls to the mat, screaming and writhing around in pain. Dragon gets up and looks at the cage and gets freaked out when he realizes what it is. He quickly walks away and grabs Bushido, pulling him up to his feet. Dragon kicks him in the gut and sets him up for the "Dragon’s Wings"(Angel's Wings), but Bushido slides out, holding onto an arm, twists it and picks up Dragon for the "Hook Turn"(Michinoku Driver), but Dragon falls off his back and floats around looking for the "Path of the Dragon"(Float Over Codebreaker), but Bushido knows it too well and pushes him away. Bushido kicks Dragon in the gut, then hooks him up for the "Tandem"(Double Underhook Sheer Drop Powerbomb), but Dragon back body drops Bushido. Bushido lands on his feet and both men turn around and quickly charge each other and jump in the air with both looking for a cross body block! They collide in mid-air and each one falls onto an explosive plank! A loud “BOOM!” goes off as both men get charged and covered in smoke.}
Eric Hardy: Former partners turned enemies are leaving it all out in that ring. And this is only the beginning.
Dave Holland: As it should be on NCW's final show. Wouldn't expect anything less.
Willy Carter: Tables broken, barb wire and explosions? Stuff is gettin' real up in hurr!
{Bushido clutches his side as Dragon drags himself towards the ropes. The crowd is riled into a frenzy as the ref checks on both men. The destruction at ringside as extensive as the damage both men have taken so far. Bushido pushes through the pain and gets on one knee while Dragon pulls himself to his feet using the barbed ropes, carefully watching his opponent. Bushido foolishly forces his feet under him and charges at Dragon with a wheel kick only Dragon barrel rolls out of the way! Bushido crashes against the barb wire and gets tangled up, which cuts and gashes his skin before flailing helplessly to the mat. Dragon hits the ropes in front of him, handspringing over Bushido's prone body on the mat. Dragon then follows up the handsrping with a springboard off the second rope with a moonsault that splashes on top of a pair of knees. Dragon is bent forward and then rolled up into a modified Small Package after the horrible miss and 1... 2... KICKOUT!}
Willy Carter: Lots of high speeds, dawg. Wish my internetz was this fast.
Dave Holland: Bushido continues to bleed. Dragon continues to bleed. I wouldn't be surprised to see either one of them passing out from blood loss soon.
Eric Hardy: let's hope not. With all that's been going on with these two it'll be a shame for it to not have a proper ending in NCW.
{Bushido floats into a mount and rains down some heavy forearms to the masked face of Dragon. Dragon defends himself as much as he can but the Japanese warrior's strikes break through. After about ten, Bushido hurries to his feet, pulling Dragon with him. Bushido stares into his eyes coldly before taking him by the arm and hurling his former partner into the electrified turnbuckles. Upon impact, Dragon's body convulses as he staggers out to the middle of the ring where Bushido scoops him into the air and slams him back down on a chair with the "Hook Turn"(Michinoku Driver)! Bushido hangs on for the pin and 1... 2... KICKOUT! Bushido immediately gets to his feet and in the ref's face.}
Eric Hardy: It appears frustration is setting in. Special pads have been placed in front of the turnbuckles that slightly shock if enough pressure is thrown against them. Just one of the many crazy hidden gems of a Japanese Death Match.
Willy Carter: They got some real issues over there.
Dave Holland: Different areas serve up different forms of wrestling, Willy.
{Dragon gets to both knees and with glossy eyes looks around. Bushido pushes the ref aside and looks for something to utilize to finally end this but before committing to the search, Bushido turns to Dragon and yells something in his native tongue before unleashing a roundhouse kick to the face that knocks Dragon back to the mat. Bushdio rolls out of the ring, seeing various deadly paraphernalia before deciding to go for a table covered in barb wire. With careful hands he pulled it out and slid it into the ring, grabbing a bag which held a sharp surprise inside before he himself slides back in.}
Willy Carter: Another table to destroy?
Dave Holland: Forget that table. What is inside that bag?
Eric Hardy: I have a feeling we're about to find out.
{A few stomps would keep Dragon down for enough time to set the table up in the middle of the ring. Bushido then taunts the crowd by raising the bag in the air, slowly opening it and pulling out a shard of glass and showing it to everyone. Bushido's wicked smile reveals his cruel intentions just as quick as him pouring out the contents of that bag all over the barb wired tabletop set up int he middle of the ring.}
Eric Hardy: This can't end good. Barbed wire and broken glass now litter that tabletop.
Willy Carter: You're right. It's gonna end great!
{Bushido goes to pick up Dragon by his mask, unfortunately Dragon was waiting with an uppercut to his groin. Bushido keels over in pain as Dragon reaches out of the ring to grab a weapon but out of nowhere, Miranda appears and smashes a light tube across Dragon's head! She immediately looks torn as tears form in her eyes but the damage is done as Dragon was stunned by the blow, stumbling into Bushido for a technically sound "Skydiver"(Sky High) unto one of the last two remaining mines! The explosive impact echoes through the arena as the crowd hoots and hollers. Both men take the impact but the damage is displayed clearly on Dragon's back.}
Willy Carter: Somebody gonna lose they life before the night is through.
Eric Hardy: Luckily these explosions aren't powerful enough to cause mortal damage but I bet they hurt... A lot.
Dave Hardy: Do not doubt that one bit. This match has taken its toll on both men at this point.
{Bushido grabs at his legs while Dragon writhes around on the mat. Bushido moves as fast as he can to drape an arm around Dragon and 1... 2... DRAGON FORCES THE SHOULDER UP! An enraged Bushido slaps the mat multiple times before rising to his feet, hitting stomp after stomp on his former best friend. Miranda, upset that she attacked her former friend walks around with a hand on her head, yelling at Bushido to go for the pin. Bushido looks to bring Dragon back to his feet but as he is doing so, Dragon jacks his jaw with a jawbreaker! Bushido stumbles against the turnbuckle, the impact not strong enough to shock him until Dragon hits a front a dropkick that sends Bushido crashing against them! Bushido drops on both knees with an arched back, his body convulsing, giving Dragon the opportunity to set up and strike with a "Dragon Kick"(Superkick)! Bushido shoots spit up into the air as he stumbles into the turnbuckles again, shockwaves working their ways up and down Bushido's body for a second time!}
Dave Holland: Things are not looking good for Bushido.
{And as Dave finishes that statement, Dragon looks to kick Bushido in the stomach but somehow it gets caught. Bushido, too dazed to capitalize holds on for far too long as Dragon whips around and nails Bushido in the face with his free leg for a devastating "Dragon Whip"! Bushido drops like a sack of bricks and Dragon sees the end as he heads up the turnbuckles, careful not to get cut by the barb or electrified by the pads.}
Eric Hardy: This could be dangerous for Dragon if he misses.
Dave Holland: This could be dangerous for Bushido if it hits.
Willy Carter: I just want to see something blow up again.
{Dragon gets ready to fly as Bushido lies on the mat. However, as Dragon points to the sky, Miranda hops on the ring and grabs his leg. Dragon can't believe it once again as his former friend chooses sides. This distraction was enough for Bushido to kip up and then spit a "Blood Mist" skyward, catching Dragon in the face! Dragon is blinded when he drops to a straddle on the top turnbuckle while Bushido moves the table covered in barb and glass closer to the corner. Bushido climbs the ropes in front of Dragon, pulling him to his feet on the top rope, placing his head in between the legs, underhooking his arms before flying out with Dragon's own move "Dragon's Wings"(Angel's Wings) off the top rope! Bushido jumps over the table and lands on his feet but Dragon's face goes crashing through the barb, glass and wood on top of the final explosive pad!! Dragon grabs at his face which is charred and bleeding as Bushido hooks a leg and 1... 2... 3!!!}
Dave Holland: I think Dragon may be seriously injured here.
Eric Hardy: And Bushido doesn't seem to care.
Willy Carter: Why should he? The dude got da W.
{Miranda rushes to Dragon's side but Bushido immediately pulls her off of him and orders her to raise his hand as "Insomnia" hits the speakers. The crowd is a mix of booing and cheering but all going wild as EMT's rush the ring to look after Dragon. Bushido exits with Miranda acknowledging nothing. Dragon cries out in pain and the horrible screams eventually silence the worried crowd.}
Dave Holland: This doesn't look good for Dragon.
Eric Hardy: While we get things fixed up here is a video package for the next match.
Willy Carter: Hope Dragon is okay. Kinda sad them scorpions didn't get used though.

SEGMENT
Jimmy Turner
”I’ve had enough!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We head backstage where we see Jimmy Turner mopping the floor diligently, when a couple in suits walk by, their footprints from the dirty ground outside leave big marks over the part of the floor where Jimmy is currently mopping and he interjects.}
Jimmy Turner: Excuse me, watch your step, it’s a wet floor.
{The man turns around and flips Jimmy Turner the bird.}
Jimmy Turner: You’re right, I should have been more polite.
{Jimmy lowers his head and goes back to mopping that area they just walked on when suddenly somebody else comes walking by right over the part of the floor he is mopping with all his heart.}
Jimmy Turner: My good sir, If you would kindly watch your step I’d appreciate it.
Man: What did you say to me?
Jimmy Turner: I’m mopping the floor, I want you to be careful.
{The man looks at Jimmy as if he’s completely disgusted at what he sees. He turns and begins snorting through his mouth and nose before he plants a giant loogie right into the mop bucket water of Jimmy Turner. Jimmy just smiles and nods his head.}
Jimmy Turner: You’re right... I did need a new bucket of water, that one was getting old.
{Jimmy grabs the mop bucket and begins to head back to the janitorial closet when suddenly the fans are cheering as we see former NCW Star Mike Machado walking towards Jimmy Turner holding a used up roll of toilet tissue.}
Jimmy Turner: Oh my god it’s former NCW Star Mike Machado! What can I do for you?
Mike Machado: Sorry to bother you but they told me to let you know that the men’s bathrooms are out of toilet paper.
{Jimmy Turner’s left eye twitches.}
Jimmy Turner: What?
Mike Machado: The bathrooms... the need toilet tissue.
{Something snaps as Jimmy takes his mop and breaks it over his knee.}
Jimmy Turner: That’s it! I’m sick of this! I’m tired of being pushed around here! It’s about damn time that Jimmy Turner had something good happen to him! I’m not going to take this anymore, I refuse to be pushed around any longer, I’m Jimmy Turner, I’m going to make all you remember that! GET OUT OF MY WAY!
{Jimmy Turner pushes past Mike Machado, like a raging bull he charges forward like a man with a purpose before he suddenly grabs his chest and begins panting heavily. He falls to his knees and hits the ground as Machado looks around before running off.}
Eric Hardy: Oh my God... somebody get help back there ASAP, I think Jimmy Turner just had a heart attack!
Willy Carter: He got excited there, he had finally had enough of being pushed around and.... poor Jimmy.
Dave Holland: I’m sorry you had to witness that fans, i’m told that we have paramedic crew back there already as Mike Machado immediately got them... we’ll keep you up to date on Jimmy Turners condition as the show continues on.
Eric Hardy: We’re all hoping that he’ll be ok and push through this, but we have a match to get to next...
Willy Carter: Match? More like a cat fight.
Eric Hardy: Coming up next, this is the grudge match that is over a year in the making.
Willy Carter: No, we're about to see Crystal Williams take out some trash.
Eric Hardy: I don't know about that.
Willy Carter: I do, this match will be a cakewalk.
{"Awake and Alive" plays over the PA system. Roxi Johnson emerges from the backstage area, She pauses at the top of the entranceway, soaking in the atmosphere. She stares ahead at the ring and begins a bouncy walk/skip towards it. She pauses from time to time looking around the arena. After a moment, she steps on the apron, and enters the ring through the ropes. Once inside, she runs to the nearest corner, jumps on it, and raises her arms to the cheers of the audience.}
Eric Hardy: And there is Roxi Johnson, Who is making her triumphant return to NCW.
Willy Carter: It's not going to be a good return for fish woman up there, Crystal is about to beat her again!
Dave Holland: Roxi did say earlier that she doesn't care about "winning" this match.
{All of a sudden “Stronger” by 30 Seconds To Mars starts playing all over the Pa system. Two lights are pointed at the entrance way. Crystal Emerges through the curtains and is greeted by multiple pyros that start shooting off one by one. The crowd roars at her with a loud ovation of cheers and she slowly makes her way out walking down the aisle. Crystal cracks a grin as her photographers line up to take a picture of her but she turns her attention to the fans slapping their hands as she makes her way to the ring. She get close to the ring then Roxi meets Crystal in the aisle and the two begin exchanging punches!}
Eric Hardy: Here we go!
Willy Carter: Get them in the ring!
{Roxi beats Crystal to the punch and begins to stumble backwards, then Crystal stop Roxi with a knee that doubles her over. Crystal begins throwing punches and knocks Roxi back up the entrance way. Grabbing Roxi by the hair, she begins to throw her into the barricade, the impact causing the fans to "ooh". Roxi scrambles away to crate distance and regain her feet. She does so, and stops Crystal from coming further with a kick to the gut. Forearms follow, then Roxi puts Crystal's head between her legs and tries to lift her, but Crystal instead backdrops Roxi back first on the steel entrance!}
Eric Hardy: Ow! This match is about 90 seconds old, and these two are trying to kill each other!
{Roxi clutchs her back in pain and Crystal begins to stomp her like she's something that needs to be stomped. Crystal goes to pick Roxi up again, but she fires a few right hands that drive Crystal backwards. Roxi gets back up and nails Crystal and that drives her back through the curtain. Roxi follows.}
Eric Hardy: And now this match is headed backstage!
Willy Carter: But...this isn't a falls count anywhere match!
Dave Holland: I don't think they care!
{Roxi and Crystal have once again hooked it up backstage with Roxi on top of Crystal punching her as the referee tries to get them to head back to the ring. Roxi gets off of Crystal and goes in search of something. Crystal however, actually listens to the referee and goes to head back to the ring. Crystal once again parts the curtain, stumbling around, then lying in wait for Roxi to follow her. Crystal soon tires of waiting, and as soon as she steps into the curtain, she's nailed with a garbage can!}
Eric Hardy: What a shot that was!
Willy Carter: Roxi should be disqualified!
Dave Holland: Technically this match hasn't begun yet.
{Roxi then reaches back behind her and begins carrying a second garbage can full of weapons towards the ring. Crystal meets her halfway, but Roxi stops her and kicks her in the gut. With Crystal doubled over, Roxi reaches in the trash can and pulls out a Kendo stick and whacks Crystal across the back with it! The audible "thwack" is heart and again causes the fans to moan with Crystal. Finally at the edge of the ring, Roxi throws the trashcan inside the ring, and goes back over to Crystal who is leaning up against the steel post. Crystal strikes when Roxi close enough with a boot, which forces Roxi back. Crystal stands, grabs Roxi and chucks her as hard she can into the steel ring steps, which dislodge upon Roxi's back and shoulder striking them!}
Eric Hardy: Did you hear that?
Willy Carter: Yeah! Go Crystal!
{Crystal grabs Roxi and tosses her back inside the ring. Area crew members get rid of the debris and weapons, and the bell rings.}
Eric Hardy: And now, the match is officially underway!
Dave Holland: These two have already beaten the hell out of each other.
{Crystal walks over to Roxi and begins kicking her in the ribs and back, trying to keep Roxi down. A look of anger crosses Crystal’s face as she grabs Roxi by the hair and yanks her up. Crystal goes to throw Roxi into the turnbuckle, but Roxi spins and trys to throw Crystal into the buckle, Crystal gets her foot up, blocking, before nailing Roxi in the gut, doubling her over. Crystal completes throwing Roxi head first into the turnbuckle, then mushes her face with her hand. She does it again, before chopping Roxi, drawing a “whoo” from the crowd. Crystal lead Roxi out of the corner and shoots a forearm to Roxi while she’s against the ropes. Crystal throws Roxi off the ropes, and drops her head looking for a back body drop, but Roxi scouts it and kicks Crystal in the shoulder. Roxi charges for a clothesline, but Crystal ducks. Crystal rises back up but Roxi is waiting for her and clotheslines her anyway! Cover by Roxi 1...kickout.}
Eric Hardy: And Roxi is doing surpringly well for someone who has not wrestled actively in a long time.
Willy Carter: It won’t last. Roxi has too much ring rust.
Dave Holland: She’s not displaying any symptoms of it at the moment.
{Roxi grabs a handful of Crystal’s hair and begins pulling her up, but Crystal rakes her eyes, driving Roxi backwards. Crystal backs up and charges, but Roxi ducks and backdrops Crystal over the top rope to the floor!}
Willy Carter: Oh no!
{Roxi waits by the ropes as Crystal gathers herself, Roxi pulls back on the ropes and springboards onto the top rope, then dives onto the floor onto Crystal!}
Eric Hardy: Where’s the ring rust now?
Willy Carter: Shut up Hardy! C’mon Crystal!
{Roxi slowly gets up and rolls back into the ring, breaking the count, before rolling back out to grab Crystal, who surprises Roxi with a kick to the gut, then tosses her face-first into the ring post!}
Eric Hardy: Oh, man that was a hard shot.
Willy Carter: What did I tell you?
Dave Holland: This match is far from over.
{Crystal grabs Roxi and throws her back into the ring. She stares down at Roxi, who is clawing at Crystal, trying to use her to stand. Crystal grabs Roxi by the hair and throws her down on the mat. Crystal mounts Roxi and begins punching her repeatedly, before stopping to bad mouth Roxi to her face.}
Crystal Williams: You can’t beat me!
{Crystal grabs Roxi by the hair and throws her into the turnbuckle. Crystal mounts the turnbuckle behind Roxi and begins choking her from behind. Norman Dafoe counts 1...2..3...Crystal breaks. Crystal grabs Roxi by the hair again, and chokes. 1...2..3...4..Crystal breaks again. Roxi collapses to her knees gasping for air. Crystal again pulls Roxi up by the hair, but this time, Roxi counters and snap mares Crystal off the top turnbuckle!}
Eric Hardy: There’s still some fight in Roxi Johnson.
Willy Carter: Not much more.
{Roxi waits for Crystal to stand and slaps on the “Fade Away” (Tazmission)!}
Eric Hardy: It’s the fade away! Ricky Johnson’s hold!
Willy Carter: Oh no!
{Crystal wildly grasps at anything she can, before charging backwards and squashing Roxi in the corner. Crystal catches her breath and stomps away at Roxi until she slumps down in the corner. Crystal take this moment to gloat.}
Willy Carter: What did I tell you, it’s only a matter of time. Roxi’s been out of the game too long.
Eric Hardy: You may be right, Willy.
{Crystal walks over and grabs Roxi by the hair and pulls her out of the corner, but Roxi throws her hand away and unloads with right hands, mounting a comeback. Two, three, four punches land. She throws Crystal towards the corner, but Crystal tips up, and wraps her heels around Roxi’s neck. Roxi throws her legs up into the air, and Crystal lands on her feet on the apron. Crystal sneaks in a punch that dazes Roxi, before Crystal begins climbing the ropes. Once she’s all the way up, Roxi knocks her foot off the rope, and Crystal crotches herself. Roxi hits Crystal with a punch, then another, causing Crystal to straighten up on the rope. Roxi pulls back on the top rope, springboards and delivers a perfect hurricanrana that takes Crystal halfway across the ring!}
Eric Hardy: Holy crap! That was incredible!
Willy Carter: It was not!
Dave Holland: No, No, that was impressive.
{Roxi takes some time to gather herself before crawling over and covering Crystal 1...2...3no! Crystal kicks out. Both women slowly make their way to their feet, Roxi charges for a clothesline, and Crystal ducks, and Roxi turns only to be nailed with the “Flashing Lights” {Chick kick} Roxi goes down in a heap, and Crystal covers 1...2...3no! Roxi kicks out.}
Eric Hardy: Roxi Johnson is still in this match.
Willy Carter: She’s running on fumes. It won’t be much longer.
Dave Holland: You’ve been saying that this entire match.
{Crystal is infuriated and begins beating Roxi with all her anger. Roxi covers up, but some shots get through, including a sick boot to the head. Roxi is dazed and Crystal signals for the end. She drags Roxi into position, and begins to climb the ropes.}
Willy Carter: Here we go baby. Light’s, camera, action!
{Crystal jumps off, but Roxi rolls out of the way!}
Eric Hardy: She missed!
Willy Carter: No!
{Roxi waits for Crystal to stand. Roxi hit’s the ropes, springs off, and kicks Crystal in the face with a beautiful disaster kick! }
Eric Hardy: What a kick!
Dave Holland: I think Crystal is out.
Willy Carter: I’m about to have a stroke, C’mon Crystal!
{Roxi slides her thumb across her throat, and the fans cheer. A Dazed Crystal gets up, and walks into a kick to the gut, Roxi hooks her arms, spins, and lifts Crystal upside down on her back. Roxi smiles before jumping and DRIVING Crystal’s head into the mat with a vertabreaker!}
Eric Hardy: Holy lord!
{Roxi makes the cover hooking the leg 1.…2.…3!}
Eric Hardy: Roxi Johnson has won this match!
Dave Holland: Incredible move, and incredible determination displayed by Roxi Johnson.
Willy Carter: She had the tights. She fish hooked Crystal eye!
Dave Holland: Willy, be quiet.
{Roxi stands and is in tears as the referee raises her hand. “Awake and Alive” is playing and she smiles and waves before exiting the ring. A video plays for Mike Laszlo’s upcoming contest showing the highlights of his career before we head to ringside.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, the mystery opponent for Mike Laszlo…
{Spaceman by The Killers fills the arena as the crowd goes ballistic for the entrance of one Trent Helms!}
Willy Carter: Well isn’t this a surprise.
Eric Hardy: Trent Helms is back in a NCW ring for the final time.
Dave Holland: Sources tell me it could be the last time in a ring period.
Amber Ashe: From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 185 pounds, TRENNNNNT HELMMMMMMS!
{Trent steps into the ring and poses for the crowd who celebrate his arrival. Trent then looks up at the ramp and waits for his opponent. Rather than “This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage playing though, we are greeted with some speaking words.}
“And during the few moments that we have left…
I wanna talk right down to Earth…
In a language that everybody here,
Can easily understand”
{The sound of Living Colours “Cult of Personality” blare through the arena as the crowd starts to cheer and get to their feet.}
“Look in my eyes, what do you see…”
{As those words hit, Mike Laszlo comes running out onto the stage to a roaring ovation, Alexis Caffrey not far behind him. He runs from side to side on the stage eliciting cheers and pumping up the crowd on both sides before returning to the center and garnering a kiss from his girlfriend who looks on with a smile on her face as he stops and puts his hands on his hips surveying the crowd of eighty thousand plus people from all over the globe. A smile appears on his face as well as he applauds them and heads down to the ring.}
Amber Ashe: From Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 237 pounds, he is the longest reigning NCW Honor and X Champion in NCW history, as well as the only man to hold two singles titles simultaneously, accompanied by Alexis Caffrey…MIIIIIIIIIKE LASSSSSSSZLOOOO!
{Mike gets down to the ring and points at the apron skirt that reads “A Night To Remember”. He looks right into the camera and you can hear him say as he nods his head, “You damn right.” Walking around ringside he finds his friend Kristy sitting in the front row and gives her a hug, then turns to Alexis and gets a kiss for good luck before jumping up on the apron and pumping up the crowd one more time before focusing on the match.}
Willy Carter: Why does he get the hot chicks?
Dave Holland: Comes with the territory.
Eric Hardy: This should be a great match. Two great competitors who have never squared off in this ring.
{The referee rings the bell and the crowd goes back and forth, half cheering for Helms, the other half cheering for Laszlo as the two wrestlers look in separate directions, then at each other, and then in the opposite directions they were looking before. The two shake hands and the match is set to begin.}
Dave Holland: As we’ve seen a few times tonight, a nice show of respect.
Willy Carter: Screw that! We want a fight!
Eric Hardy: Something tells me that we’re about to get it.
{The two men circle the ring and look to lock up, feeling one another out before making a move. Finally they do so and Laszlo is quick to use his weight advantage, shoving Helms to the ground in a show of strength. Helms gets to a knee and smiles with a nod on his face. Again they circle and the results are similar. The two lock up a third time but Trent goes behind Laszlo with a standing switch, which is quickly met with a few reverse elbows to the face, before Laszlo switches to behind Trent. Trent breaks the grasp, grabbing hold of one of Mike’s arms and twisting it into an Arm Wrench, but Laszlo shows off a little of his agility and rolls through the hold into an Arm Drag Takedown followed by another and another before Trent slides out of the ring to regroup, Laszlo taunting him from inside the ring.}
Dave Holland: I think Trent was caught a little off guard.
Eric Hardy: Perhaps it was ring rust?
Willy Carter: Who knows? All I know is he’s being a pansy on the outside of the ring. GET IN THERE!
{Trent obliges and re-enters the ring. He and Laszlo lock up again, but this time it is Trent who takes control with a Side-Headlock. Laszlo pushes Helms off and into the ropes. Laszlo swings wildly and misses with a Clothesline. As he turns, he goes to slam Trent with one of his whipping Powerslams, but Trent manages to tumble forward and land on his feet continuing into the ropes again before lunging forward with a Crossbody, hooking the leg for a quick pin, but Laszlo kicks out after one, pushing Trent off his shoulders. Both men get to their feet and stare down the other as the crowd applauds their efforts this far.}
Dave Holland: Bit of a stalemate here.
Willy Carter: Stop wasting time.
Eric Hardy: Shut up Willy. These two are great at what they do and they’re gathering some strategy.
{The two lock up again and Laszlo shows a bit of cockiness blowing off the lockup and smacking Trent right in the face. Trent rubs his cheek and looks at Laszlo who has that mischievous grin on his face. Trent charges in, catching Laszlo off guard, and taking him down by the legs before unloading with fists of fury. Laszlo does his best to cover up and eventually shoves Trent off before both men get to their feet where Trent leaps in the air and takes Laszlo down with a Hurricanrana!}
Eric Hardy: Great move by Helms.
Dave Holland: I guess that slap woke him up quick.
Willy Carter: That slap was hilarious.
{Laszlo gets back to his feet nodding in approval as if this is what he wanted. The two lock up a second time and again Laszlo breaks the hold and goes to slap Helms who ducks, only to catch a knee in the face that staggers him a bit. As he turns back toward Laszlo, it’s not a slap, but a straight up punch that rocks Helms back into the ropes. Laszlo whips him to the other side which is reversed by Trent who sends Laszlo into the ropes then leaps in the air looking for a Dropkick, but Laszlo holds onto the ropes. Trent hits the mat and upon getting up is leveled with a picture perfect Dropkick from Laszlo.}
Dave Holland: I know I’ve been critical of Laszlo before, but that’s a beautiful Dropkick.
Willy Carter: Get your mouth off his balls.
Dave Holland: I should punch you in the face for that.
Willy Carter: Probably, but you won’t.
{Laszlo doesn’t let up and clubbers Helms across the back with his forearm not once but twice before lifting him to his feet and then in the air with a Snap Suplex. Trent sits up holding his back in pain but is quickly shoved back down as Laszlo goes for the first cover of this match.
1!
2!!
Trent kicks out after two.}
Willy Carter: That won’t get it done idiot.
Dave Holland: Harsh?
Willy Carter: After what he’s done to me? He can’t retaliate, I may never see him again so who cares?
Eric Hardy: Still gotta make it through the night.
{Laszlo picks Trent up again and kicks him in the gut, locking in a Double Under-hook. Before he can execute a move or anything, Trent pulls his arm free, lifts Laszlo on his shoulders and hits him with a Bioshock!}
Willy Carter: Just like that!
Eric Hardy: BIOSHOCK!
Dave Holland: This one could be over.
{1!
2!!
Referee’s hand is coming down for three when Laszlo throws his foot onto the bottom rope!}
Dave Holland: Great awareness there!
Eric Hardy: Knowing your way around the ring and where you are in it at all times is essential.
{Trent looks at Laszlo’s foot in disbelief as he thought he might have just stolen the victory, but alas, it was not to be at this moment. He lifts Laszlo to his feet and punches him square in the face, no doubt retaliation from earlier. A few more shots and Laszlo is backed into the corner. Laszlo is whipped to the opposite corner and in comes Trent charging at full speed. He lunges into the air looking to Splash Mike in the corner but Mike gets out of the way and Helms eats turnbuckle. Laszlo grabs hold of Helms and turns with his back to the ropes, throwing Helms through the air with an Overhead Release German Suplex. Rather than hitting the ground though, Trent lands gut first, draped over the top rope where he hangs. Both men are in pain as the crowd cheers them on, calling their names one after another, not knowing exactly who to root for.}
Willy Carter: Hopefully that knocked the wind out of him so we won’t have to hear him again.
Eric Hardy: What an awkward way to land.
Dave Holland: I’m sure his stomach is saying the same thing.
{Laszlo gets back to his feet and sees Trent dangling. He walks over and punts him with full extension in the chest and face, quickly grabbing hold of Trent’s head and looking out to the crowd who start cheering as they know what comes next. Laszlo yells “REMEMBER THIS!” before dropping Trent straight down on his face with a DDT, shooting the half and going for the cover…
1!
2!!
NO! Trent manages to get his shoulder off the canvas.}
Eric Hardy: Deadly move by Mike Laszlo. Did you see that angle Trent took on the way down?
Willy Carter: Hopefully he gave him a concussion.
Dave Holland: And yet Trent kicked out.
{Laszlo looks around trying to figure out his next move. Looking over at the table, a smile comes over his face. Rolling out of the ring, he makes his way over.}
Willy Carter: What the hell is he doing?
Mike Laszlo: MOVE!
{Mike grabs hold of the top of the table and rips it off as the referee yells at him but is ignored. Laszlo lifts a water bottle from the table and motions toward Willy.}
Willy Carter: Yeah, that’s mine!
{Mike pours a portion of the contents in his mouth and spits it out all over Willy before throwing the bottle into the audience.}
Willy Carter: You son of a…
{Before he can say anything more, Laszlo pulls him out from behind the desk and throws him to the side, tumbling in wet clothes to the floor. The crowd around laughs as Laszlo clear the area before turning his attention back to the ring where Trent is slowly getting to his feet. Laszlo slides back into the ring, but as soon as he gets to his feet, Trent charges in with a Suicide Clothesline taking both men to the outside and down to the floor. As they try and recover, commentary gets their headsets in order.}
Eric Hardy: Willy, you’re looking a little wet.
Willy Carter: Go to hell. I’m a Trent Helms fan right now. I hope he kicks the crap out of Laszlo.
Dave Holland: Our announce table is bare and the two competitors are struggling to their feet in front of us.
{Both men get to their feet at about the same time and it is Helms who strikes the first blow on the outside. Laszlo staggers but retaliates. Back and forth they go for about three more rounds before Trent gets the upper hand in the situation and knees Laszlo in the gut before slamming his face across what’s left of the announce table. Laszlo spins as he stumbles toward the barricade to the left of the table. Helms comes charging in as security backs the fans away, and it’s a good thing he did because Laszlo ducks and elevates Trent over the wall onto the cold concrete.}
Willy Carter: Shouldn’t this match be over with a count out by now?
Dave Holland: Seems like the referee is letting it go. He doesn’t want a crap victory just like nobody else does.
Eric Hardy: Any victory other than pinfall or submission would be robbing these fans on such a glorious day.
Willy Carter: If Laszlo wins period this is a crap match.
Eric Hardy: Grow up.
{Laszlo climbs up onto the barricade and jumps off toward Helms with a Double Axe Handle but Trent catches him on the way down with a hard shot to the ribs. Laszlo crashes down into some of the people’s seats. People all around them as if it were a fight in high school, Trent eggs them on into a frenzy as he waits for Laszlo to get to his feet before Clotheslining him over the barricade back to ringside.}
Eric Hardy: Who knows what they would have done out there.
Dave Holland: Violence would be a good guess.
Willy Carter: Yeah, but now they’re closer to us.
{Trent now climbs onto the barricade and lunges off, nailing Laszlo with a Flying Clothesline. Trent gets up and eggs the fans on some more, slapping the bare surface of the table. Again he grabs Laszlo by the neck and tries to slam him face-first into the table. Laszlo stops the attempt with the table, and shoots both his hands into the mid-section of Trent before grabbing him around the waist and charging into the ring post, slamming Trent, spine-first into the post. Trent falls to his knees wincing in pain as he holds his back. Laszlo plants a knee into the side of his face, knocking him to the ground. Laszlo grabs hold of Trent and pulls him up onto the table. After a few clubbing blows to the chest to weaken his opponent a bit more, Laszlo rolls into the ring and looks over the top rope at his opponent. The referee seems to read his mind and tries to talk him out of it, but it is to no avail as Laszlo grabs hold of the top rope, pulls back for extra leverage, and springboards off the top rope, crashing through Helms and the announce table. The roof nearly blows off the arena…if it weren’t retracted, and the crowd explodes into a N-C-W! chant.}
Eric Hardy: Mike Laszlo showing what this match, this moment, and this company mean to him!
Dave Holland: He put it all on the line with that spectacular dive!
Willy Carter: HE BROKE MY CHAIR!
Eric Hardy: I’m sure that was his one and only intention and he disguised it with driving his elbow through Trent Helms and breaking the announce table.
Willy Carter: Wouldn’t put it past him.
{The two men struggle to get to their feet, neither really succeeding.}
Eric Hardy: These two could really be hurt here.
Dave Holland: That was one hell of a collision, no pun intended.
{Mike is the first to crawl out of the mess that is ringside. Alexis, who ran over after the death defying move kneels down concerned as Trent begins to move. The referee ushers her to the side of the ring as Laszlo starts crawling to the ring. He’s first in while Trent pulls himself up the steps, and eventually, both are in the ring still down.}
Dave Holland: Looks like we’ve hit a bit of a reset here.
Eric Hardy: Neither man is up yet.
Willy Carter: I hope Laszlo broke his ribs.
{Laszlo is first to get up holding said ribs as Trent too is getting to his feet. Laszlo kicks Trent in the stomach and under-hooks both arms “O-H” he yells as Alexis ushers the crowd who yell “I-O” in return as Laszlo lifts Trent into the air and hits him with the Double Underhook Backbreaker he calls “O-H-I-O”! Trent writhes in pain as Laszlo goes for the cover…
1!
2!!
NO!!!}
Eric Hardy: Doesn’t get it done even after the torture he’s put Trent through.
Dave Holland: To hell and back they’ve gone.
Willy Carter: Ah ha sucka!
{Laszlo looks on in disbelief as he thought for sure the match would be over. With his opponent down, Laszlo goes to the outside and climbs to the top rope. He raises his hands in the air and leaps off with a Diving Elbow but Trent moves out of the way!}
Willy Carter: FAIL!
Dave Holland: He went to the well one too many times.
Eric Hardy: How will Trent capitalize?
{Trent runs to the ropes and comes back with a Shining Wizard, reaching back and grabbing Laszlo’s leg for a pin attempt…
1!
2!!
NO!
Laszlo gets the shoulder up at the last second. Wasting no time, Trent grabs Laszlo’s legs and locks in the Sharpshooter in an attempt to further injure Laszlo’s midsection. Laszlo squirms and screams in pain as the referee asks for his submission. He screams “NO!” as he tries to power up and crawl to the ropes. FINGER TIPS AWAY!
NO! Trent starts pulling Laszlo to the center of the ring, but before he can sit back down into the hold, Laszlo tucks his head and positions onto his back. Trent tries to turn him back over but Laszlo wriggles out and starts kicking at Trent before pushing him back into the ropes with his feet causing Laszlo to sit up. Trent comes off the ropes and goes for another Shining Wizard, but Laszlo falls back causing Trent to miss while rolling up to his feet. Trent turns around and gets a kick to the gut before he’s lifted into position for the Malicious Intent, and the move is EXECUTED!}
Eric Hardy: MALICIOUS INTENT!
Dave Holland: Mike Laszlo making his mark here at A Night To Remember!
Willy Carter: NOOOOO!
{Laszlo hooks the leg as Alexis jumps in the air on the outside with each mat slap of the referee’s hand…
1!
2!!
NOOOOOOOOO! Trent’s foot drapes over the bottom rope similar to Laszlo earlier. Both Laszlo and Alexis on the outside can’t believe it.}
Eric Hardy: How did he kick out of that?
Dave Holland: Beats me, it was perfectly executed.
Willy Carter: He didn’t really kick out. He got his foot on the bottom rope.
{Laszlo argues with the referee as Trent starts to gather his bearings. Trent slowly gets to his feet as Laszlo turns right into Trent who hits Adam Knite’s KNITES OF THE ROUND!}
Willy Carter: YES!
Eric Hardy: A tribute to Adam Knite!
Dave Holland: This is it!
{Trent hooks the leg…
1!
2!!
OH SO CLOSE! Mike kicks out as the referee’s hand was mere inches from the mat!}
Willy Carter: WHAT THE HELL!?
Dave Holland: So close, but that only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades!
Eric Hardy: What else can he do?
Willy Carter: He’s doing it…
{Back in the ring, Laszlo is stalked by Trent who grabs him from behind looking for the “Final Flash” (Diamond Dust) finisher. He flips over Laszlo but Laszlo has the wherewithal to grab hold of the top rope with both hands sending Trent crashing down in front of him. Trent tries to get up quickly holding his back in the center of the ring when Laszlo lunges over him with a Sunset Cutter of his own where he locks in the Crippler Crossface, completing the final stage of his Down Payment finishing maneuver.}
Eric Hardy: DOWN PAYMENT! TRENT’S IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!
{The crowd roars, nobody is standing in the entire arena. Laszlo wrenches back on the hold in the center of the ring. Trent with all of his will power is fighting the urge to give up despite the massive pain shooting up and down his spine! Laszlo pulls back harder and lets out a scream as Alexis again jumps in the air like a cheerleader on the outside. Trent is fighting relentlessly and eventually rolls the hold into a pinning position near the ropes…
1!
2!!
NO! Laszlo retains the hold and rolls back into position in the center of the ring!}
Willy Carter: He’s been in that hold forever!
Dave Holland: I thought he broke it with the pin, but it was to no avail!
Eric Hardy: Trent has absolutely nowhere to go!
{Trent tries his best to break the grasp, but it doesn’t seem like he is able due to fatigue! Laszlo breaks the hold and while keeping Trent’s arm trapped between his legs, hammers away on Trent’s spine, head, and neck before re-locking in the Crossface.}
Eric Hardy: This has got to be it!
Willy Carter: This is savage locking in that hold again!
Dave Holland: Trent has his hand in the air…
{As Dave mentioned, it seems that Trent can’t hold on much longer, and again Laszlo leans back, wrenching in the hold, and that’s enough as Trent slaps the mat repeatedly as the crowd gives a mixed reaction and the bell rings causing Laszlo to release the hold.}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner, via submission, MIKE LASSSSSSSSZLO!
Eric Hardy: He did the unthinkable and made Trent tap out.
Willy Carter: Screw him.
Dave Holland: Real mature. Mike Laszlo gets the better of Trent Helms with the Down Payment. Mike said this would be HIS Night To Remember, and it sure as hell will be. Incredible effort by BOTH individuals.
{Laszlo celebrates with the crowd cheering him on as “Cult of Personality” plays throughout the arena.}
Eric Hardy: We’ll be right back fans, what an amazing match and what a fantastic one we have up next.
{Video package for the Starlets match goes here.}
Dave Holland: Here we go fans... the match to decide who will be the final NCW World Starlets Champion.
Eric Hardy: It's going to be fantastic, the first ever reverse ladder match in NCW history comes on the final show.
Willy Carter: There is a reason we haven't had one of those until now... they are kinda awkward. You have to score a pinfall before you can climb the ladder?
Eric Hardy: It's so that somebody can't just grab the belt and sprint up the ladder, you actually have to fight and can't play possum the whole match.
Dave Holland: Yeah, it requires you to actually fight for the title. Such a bad thing.
Willy Carter: I don't need your sarcasm on the final night Holland.
Eric Hardy: Any way... I believe we're about ready to...
{Suddenly the arena is rocked with the sounds of Icon For Hire's “Up in flames”. The visibly pregnant Kelly steps out to the roar of the crowd and begins to head towards ringside.}
Dave Holland: What is this, NCW co-owner and former starlets champion, Kelly Fox heading towards us?
Eric Hardy: I was wondering if she would be here tonight, she's absolutely glowing.
Willy Carter: I wonder what she wants?
Dave Holland: I guess we'll have to wait and see.
{Kelly walks towards the commentary table where she pulls up a chair, grabs a headset and sits down with the guys.}
Kelly Fox: Hey guys, I hope you don't mind but I figured since it was the last show, it could use me doing commentary somewhere, and being a former Starlets champion.. this felt like an appropriate match. Hey Eric, hey Willy it's been a while.
Eric Hardy: it's good to see you Kelly. You're looking fantastic this evening.
Willy Carter: Just like old times, rigtht?
Kelly Fox: One more time. So why wait any longer I know these ladies in the back are ready and I know the fans are ready so lets get to it huh?
Dave Holland: Great idea.
{"The best out" blares over the arena's loudspeakers, as the lyrics begin, Jasmine appears from behind the curtain to the cheers and whistles from the audience, she pauses at the top of the ramp and forms an "O" with her hands, the trademark of the circle. She holds it over her head and smirks before sauntering down the aisle, slapping some fans five along the way. She casually walks up the steps and in between the middle and bottom rope before walking to the center of the ring and doing the "O" taunt again to more cheers. She backs herself into a neutral corner and does some light stretching before the match. }
Dave Holland: Some people have made it clear that they don't believe Jasmine belongs in this match by virtue of the fact she lost to Kathy Conway on Collision for a title shot.
Kelly Fox: I can certainly see that, but what they don't understand is that Zelda is a competitor at heart... she had some issues with Jasmine and wanted to work them out and wanted to do it on a grand stage.
Willy Carter: So we just let our champions do whatever they want?
Eric Hardy: Well, look at Roberto Verona.
Willy Carter: Point taken.
{The lights in the arena start to twinkle like diamonds, green, purple and red with the melodic holler and drum beat of ''Black and Silver" by Xandria. The chords of an organ punctuate the words as Kathleen Conway appears on the stage with one hand on her right hip. She begins her walk down the ramp. Kathy with a smile on her face. She gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee. She holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. She walks to the middle and flips her hair again with a hand on her hip as the lights return to normal and the music fades.}
Eric Hardy: A woman you are all too used to, Mrs. Knite.
Kelly Fox: Well... I can say one thing about Kathy and it's that she's intense. She's not the best wrestler in the world, but she has a lot of fight, so you can't count her out.
Dave Holland: Especially since she picked this stipulation. She must feel comfortable with it and thinks it gives her some kind of edge to pick such a match.
Willy Carter: Exactly, if there is one thing we've learned about the conways over the years... it's that they always have some sort of plan.
{Zelda's theme kicks on as the LoZ remix starts off with smoke filling the entrance ramp. "Call to Action" by Pillar hits now and the strobe lights around the ramp begin flicking on and off as Zelda slowly steps out with her arms stretched out, the music picks up and Zelda sprints to the ring. She hops onto the nearest turnbuckle and plays to the crowd for a bit. When the music dies down, she jumps down and waits for the match to begin.}
Dave Holland: The only woman in NCW's hall of fame, the first Starlets champion, the only three time World champion in NCW history... The Gamer Girl, Zelda Knite.
Willy Carter: Also the only person to make Kelly Fox scream “I Quit” in the middle of the ring.
Kelly Fox: I missed saying this.... Shut up Willy!
Eric Hardy: And listen to these fans... they are going crazy for Zelda here.
Kelly Fox: She's been a great part of NCW the past three years, it's sad to think it's coming to an end for her here.
Dave Holland: It's sad to think it's coming that way for everybody, but all the ladies are there and the referee has given the title belt to the time keeper so here we go, we're ready for this match to begin!
Kelly Fox: This is going to be epic!
{The three ladies stand on a different corner each staring at the other, all ready for the others to make the first move. Jasmine, rushes towards Zelda who starts off the action with an elbow show to the side of the head of the charging Jasmine. Kathy takes advantage of this, grabs Zelda by the hair and pulls her down to the ground straight off her feet. Zelda holds the back of her head and rolls away under the bottom rope as Kathy kicks Jasmin in the stomach, takes her by the head and plants her in the ring with a vertical suplex. However when Kathy lands, she is grabbed by the foot by Zelda on the outside and pulled under the bottom rope. Zelda takes Kathy by the arm and whips her into the steel ring barriers with a loud crash. Zelda turns around and slides back under the bottom rope and back into the ring where she apparently has lost track of Jasmine because as soon as Zelda is on her feet... BLAST FROM THE PAST! Jasmine hooks a leg and covers 1...2...3!}
Eric Hardy: What?! What just happened here, Jasmine has just qualified for hanging the belt in the opening moments of this match!
Dave Holland: Pinning Zelda Knite no less... a sight we see very little of in NCW.
Kelly Fox: Amazing move by Jasmine there... completely catching Zelda off guard and managing to hold her down for the count.
Willy Carter: Now she just needs to get that belt... and ladder... and.. she has a lot of work to do already.
Eric Hardy: Well at least she now has Zelda out of the way for a bit as she has to be in penalty box for two minutes.
{The referee helps Zelda to exit the ring as she holds her head as Jasmine rolls out of the ring and grabs the ladder. She tosses it into the ring and then heads over to the time keepers table and pulls grabs the Starlets belt. Jasmine slides back into the ring and as she does she sees Kathy sliding back into the ring, Barrera charges at Kathy and goes for he KO shot but Kathy ducks under it and runs to the ropes, she comes back and hits a vicious running clothesline as Jasmine turns around that almost takes Jazzy B's head off. Conway grabs the belt and puts it on the mat and pulls Jasmine back to her feet and positions her over the belt, Kathy jumps into the air and looks for the FAMEACER on the belt but Jasmine stands up, flipping Kathy backwards where she lands on her feet. Jasmine spins around and discus lariats Kathy right out of her boots. Jasmine, grabs the ladder and takes it up over her head and brings it crashing down into the ribs of Kathy who screams out in pain as she rolls over to try and escape. Jasmine takes the ladder and sets it up quickly then heads back and pulls Kathy back to her feet, but as she does Katy elbows her hard in the stomach and drives Jasmine back, and then shoves her in the chest knocking her back first into the steel of the ladder. Jasmine spins out of the way as Kathy comes charging but Kathy is nimble enough to hit the breaks, Jasmine is waiting as Kathy turns to take a punch but ducking under and grabbing Kathy by the head and JAZZ-o-MATIC on the belt!}
Eric Hardy: Jasmine just planted Kathy on the back of her head, landing her on that metal belt!
Kelly Fox: This could be all she wrote as Jasmine is in that ring alone with the ladder set up and Kathy out cold!
Dave Holland: She has the belt and is heading towards the ladder, she just has to get it hung up there.
{Jasmine indeed takes the belt from under Kathy's head and begins to climb up the ladder, but suddenly the fans cheer as the buzzer sounds and Zelda comes sprinting out of the penalty box! Zelda jumps onto the apron, pulls on the top rope and springboards into the ring, drop kicking the ladder and sending it tumbling with Jasmine hitting across the top rope of the ring and splashing back onto the mat.}
Willy Carter: Jasmine so close, but Zelda coming out of that penalty box left her just enough time to break this up.
Dave Holland: Zelda just barely got there in time, and she looks pretty winded from that pure dead sprint into the ring she did there.
{Zelda catches her breath for a minute, look up at the hook to hang the title from in disbelief that Jasmine didn't hang the belt. Zelda focuses on Kathy and brings her back to her feet, she positions Kathy perfectly and looks for a snap suplex on the ladder, but Kathy holds her ground and instead lifts the smaller Zelda up and front suplex's her chest first across the steel of the ladder! Zelda grimaces in pain, but that pain turns to a pure scream as Kathy jumps into the air and drops an elbow to Zelda's spine driving her into the ladder even more! Zelda rolls away in pain as Kathy grabs the ladder and now looks at Jasmine who is pulling herself back to her feet using the ropes, Kathy charges and blastes her in the face with the ladder, a move that sends Jasmine up and over the top rope and falling hard to the outside.}
Kelly Fox: Killer shot by Kathy there.. Jasmine never saw it coming.
Eric Hardy: right now though, there is only one person eligible to hang that belt and that's Jasmine... Kathy has to get a pin before she can climb that ladder she's setting up.
Willy Carter: looks like she has her eyes on making that Zelda.
{Kathy indeed quickly sets up the ladder under the hook and heads back towards Zelda, she grabs Knite and drags her back into the middle of the ring back towards where the Starlets belt landed. Kathy takes Zelda by the head and looks for possibly her KAT-NIP move but Zelda breaks Kathy's arms away and instead grabs Kathy by the legs and pulls them straight out from under Conway slamming Kathy on her back with almost a sort of spine buster, Zelda is still holding Kathy's legs when she puts her own leg through them, spins over and TRIFORCE! Kathy screams out in pain as Zelda has the move locked in tight, in the center of the ring.}
Dave Holland: Triforce! Zelda has Kathy locked in, and there is no where to run.
Kelly Fox: Kathy, if she was smart would just take the two minute penalty here and tap out... otherwise Zelda will, I promise you, break her back before she'll release the hold.
Willy Carter: Plus we know damn well Jasmine isn't going to break this up.
{Kathy tries to pry herself out of the hold, but Zelda just pulls back on Kathy's legs even more and locks her feet into the mat as she refuses to budge an inch. Kathy screams out in pain before she suddenly begins slapping the mat and has now been issued a two minute penalty for tapping out!}
Eric Hady: Zelda did it, Kathy Conway taps out to the Triforce and now Zelda is eligible to climb the ladder and win this match!
Kelly Fox: Now her and Jasmine have a fight for the ladder on their hands as they have two minutes to get that belt before Kathy can get back into that ring.
{Zelda grabs the belt and begins to head up the ladder but Jasmine has slid back into the ring and rushes over to the other side of the ladder. Zelda is there and looks to hang the title but Jasmine throws a forearm elbow into Zelda's stomach that slumps Knite over in pain and cause her to drop the belt to the mat below. Jasmine takes Zelda's head and smashes it into the top rung of the ladder, Zelda's head bounces off the metal and Jasmine reaches over and grabs Zelda's head for a fying REVOLVER cutter off the ladder but when she Jumps, Zelda holds her ground and Jasmine goes crashing into the canvas back first instead! Zelda shakes her head, trying to clear it after that smash into the ladder and steps up to the top rung. The fans cheer as Zelda comes leaping off with the MASS EFFECT foot stomp but Jasmine rolls out of the way and Zelda screams out in pain as she hits nothing but the mat and rolls forward holding her knees in pain.}
Kelly Fox: Zelda misses the move! Hits nothing but mat and that has to hurt like hell.
Dave Holland: you can see it in her face, she whiffed on that double foot stomp and her legs caved under her... that's a lot of pain.
Willy Carter: She'll just fight through it like she always does...
Eric Hardy: Doesn't mean it didn't sting like hell.
Willy Carter: So?
{Jasmine grabs the ropes and brings herself back to her feet, turning around to glare at Zelda as she’s writhing in pain on the mat. Jasmine grabs the Starlets championship and waits as Zelda gets back to her feet and blasts her with the title belt! Jasmine gets up and smiles as she looks at the ladder that is still standing there. Jasmine to make sure she isn’t interrupted grabs Zelda by the head, and tosses her over the top rope to the boos of the crowd. Jasmine heads towards the ladder and begins climbing up after grabbing the belt and for a second time... the buzzer rings as she’s making her ascent. Jasmine hurries as Kathy Conway comes rushing back into the ring. Kathy climbs up the same side Jasmine is on and begins blasting her in the back with hard clubbing blows. Jasmine stumbles and the title falls forward off the ladder and hits the ground, Kathy takes Jasmine and grabs her arms, and pins herself around, then leaps off with the KATASTROPHE!}
Dave Holland: What a move by Kathy! She just drove Jasmine face first into the mat from off that ladder!
Eric Hardy: What an amazing move, now she has to climb that ladder and hang that belt!
Kelly Fox: She has to to pin Jasmine first... wasting valuabe seconds that she could use to climb that ladder.
Willy Carter: That’s the breaks in a match like this.
{Kathy flips Jasmine over and hooks a leg so the referee comes and counts 1...2...3.}
Kelly Fox: There it is... now can she climb that ladder and become the finals Starlets champion?
Dave Holland: She’s going for it, we’re about to find out!
{Kathy grabs the title from where it fell and begins to climb the ladder, but suddenly just as she’s about to try and hang the title Zelda slides into the ring and runs up the other side of the ladder lightning fast, she jumps into the air and grabs Kathy’s head and comes flying off the side of the ladder with a CONTRA CODE from off the ladder! The ladies land and Kathy goes flying backwards holding her face, unmoving and Zelda lays on the mat writhing in pain from the fall, landing on her back.}
Kelly Fox: WHAT A MOVE! HOLY HELL!
Dave Holland: Stunning... Zelda puts her body on the line just to save that title.
Willy Carter: Foolishly I might add... now look at her... all three women are down and Zelda probably having done most of that damnage to herself with how she landed!
Eric Hardy: It’s the last NCW show ever... can’t hold anything back now.
Willy Carter: Don’t you start that.
{The three women lay there, none of them moving much, other than just trying to turn over so they can get back to their feet. Jasmine is the first to make it back to her feet using the ropes for leverage and Zelda is next as she stumbles backwards and falls into the corner turnbuckles trying to get back into this match. Kathy rolls out of the ring, taking herself out of the match for the time being as she lays there trying to recover from that shot to the head. Zelda sprints out of the corner and goes at Jasmine who lowers her shoulder and lifts, taking Zelda up and over the top rope to the apron on the edge of the ring. Jasmine spins around and gives Zelda diving spear that sends her flying off the apron and back first against the ring rails.}
Dave Holland: Holy crap, what a shot by Jasmine! I think Zelda is out of this equation right now.
Eric Hardy: She is going to need time to recover from that... and it might be over beofre she can.
{Jasmine grabs the belt and again looks to scale the ladder, Jasmine makes her way to the top where she looks to hang the belt but hasn’t noticed as Kathy slides back into the ring and is climbing her way back up to the top of the ladder as well. Kathy manages to just get Jasmine in the gut as Jasmine is just about to clasp the belt causing Jasmine drop the belt on the top of the ladder. Kathy steps up to the very top rung and the two ladies begin fighting at the top of the ladder exchanging shots.}
Dave Holland: Will it be Kathy or Jasmine here? They are both up there and the belt is there with them.
Kelly Fox: Whoever gets the upper hand in this fight is going to walk out of here Starlets champion I think.
{Jasmine and Kathy fight, push, claw and scratch trying to get the other off of them while on the outside of the ring, Zelda has recovered and has pulled a ladder out from under the ring. Zelda climbs onto the apron with the ladder in hand and puts it over the ropes and resting on the top turnbuckle. Zelda climbs to the top after it and pulls it up where she puts a foot on the rung and takes a deep breath.}
Willy Carter: What the hell is she doing up there?
Kelly Fox: I have no idea, but it looks crazy.
Eric Hardy: Real Crazy.
{Zelda steps onto the ladder and uses it to take a step towards the ladder the other ladies are using and propels herself towards them spinning around now with her back towards them. Jasmine blasts Kathy with an elbow and gives her a shove in the chest sending her off the ladder, she goes to grab the belt, but just at that time Zelda leaps off her propolsion ladder and puts a shoulder into Jasmine’s chest she turns to see what is going on! Zelda grabs the ladder that is shaking and tries to stabalize it... she manages to get it to stop and grabs the belt, she goes up a rung and clasps the belt around the hook! Winner: Zelda Knite!}
Dave Holland: Zelda Knite with an amazing move there wins this match!
Eric Hardy: How did she pull that off!?
Kelly Fox: No idea but she’s still the champion, and what a match this was.
{Zelda grabs her title back off the hook and jumps off the ladder. Her music plays and she slides under the bottom rope and does her patented Stage dive into the crowd.}
Kelly Fox: Amazing match guys between three women who really wanted this, thanks for letting me be here guys... it’s been a great run and I want to thank all three ofyou presonally for all your hard work.
Eric Hardy: It’s been an honor Kelly.
Dave Holland: Indeed it has.
Willy Carter: Ditto.
Eric Hardy: We’ll be right back fans with our next match!
{Kelly stands up and goes exits the ringside as Zelda’s music continues to play. We head to the next video package for the next match.}
Amber Ashe: Ladies and gentlemen, the following Night to Remember Contest is scheduled for one fall…
{Rage in my heart crossing the forest riding my black horse
Across the valley along the river where the hot blood flows.
Over the lakes and over the hills I follow the call of the wind uphold the legend and for my princess I will fight and win}
"Lord of the Thunder" by Rhapsody hits the speakers as Curtis D. Kanyon emerges from the curtain. He has a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder and a blonde wig in his other hand.
Holy flame burn again for eternity burn my heart to win.
The holy war is awaiting another fiery king
Curtis pounds his chest with his fists then raises the hammer in the air. He walks down to the ring, nodding to the fans. He grabs a sign from a fan in support of his cause, and shows it to the camera!
Lord of the thunder please be my guide
before and after my last ride
I'll be your soldier serving the light
riding forever alive and proud
Curtis then climbs into the ring and goes to the turnbuckles. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest, then screams "The archangel is here! Prepare for the glory of battle!" He points to the crowd with his hammer, then hoists it straight up into the air and yells "BANG!" He then gets down and awaits the match to start.}
Willy Carter: Look at this crazy cat.
Eric Hardy: Nobody ever said that CDK was mentally stable.
Dave Holland: Indeed, a bit of nostalgia being brought to the ring.
Amber Ashe: And his opponent…
{Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Eric Hardy: Mr. Long-stay, Joe Everyman in his final NCW match.
Willy Carter: This is a sad day for everyone, not just you fool.
Dave Holland: Please guys, this is our last night at this table, act civilized.
Willy Carter: How would that be normal?
Dave Holland: This is true, carry on.
Willy Carter: Hardy, you’re a dick.
Eric Hardy: …
{Amber exits the ring as the bell sounds. These two NCW main stays stare each other down and breaking the norm, the two of them shake hands in the center of the ring.}
Eric Hardy: Sportsmanship being exhibited tonight by many of these competitors.
Willy Carter: Sportsmanship was NOT exhibited when your sister was in my hotel room last night.
Eric Hardy: I don’t have a sister…
Willy Carter: Hmm. Cheap hooker…maybe it was your mom instead?
{Eric throws down his headset and goes after Willy who backs away. Dave grabs hold of both and forcefully sits each in their chair, garnering applause from the fans near ringside.}
Dave Holland: Sit down and call the match damn it!
{Meanwhile, back in the ring, the two competitors lock up. Though Joe is able to push down with some force due to his taller size, Kanyon pushes the entanglement with his ten pounds of extra girth into the corner where he immediately breaks free and begins hammering away on Everyman who tries his hardest to cover up but for a few shots is unable to do so and slumps down into the corner before the referee backs off Kanyon.}
Eric Hardy: Kanyon showing a mean streak here.
Willy Carter: Better mean than yellow like you.
Dave Holland: The aggression is what we’ve come to see out of that man.
{The referee gets out of the way and Kanyon goes to continue the onslaught only to be kicked in the midsection by the recovering Joe Everyman. Joe hits a few more kicks before he is able to get back to a vertical base and land a swift punch to the side of Kanyon’s head, rocking the stout man on his feet. Another and another and another before kicking Kanyon in the gut and planting him with a DDT. Joe goes for the first cover of the match…
1!
2!
Kickout.}
Eric Hardy: Nice move by Joe but it wasn’t enough to keep down the former World Champion.
Willy Carter: Gonna take a hell of a lot more than that sucka!
Dave Holland: Both of these men are going to take a lot to put away.
{Joe gets back to his feet and drops not one but two elbows across the back of the stockier Kanyon. He then grabs Kanyon by his head and pulls him up to a vertical base. A few well-placed knees to the gut and Joe swings Kanyon’s arm over his head looking for either a Vertical Suplex or a Brainbuster, but neither come to fruition as Kanyon starts fighting back with shots to Joe’s midsection before pulling away from his grasp and hits him with a huge Headbutt that staggers Joe into the corner. Kanyon comes charging in and squashes Joe in the corner. Joe stumbles out where Kanyon hits him with a huge Powerslam, hooking the leg…
1!
2!!
Joe kicks out.}
Dave Holland: Now it’s Joe showing some grit and determination.
Eric Hardy: This was billed as a grudge match, and neither man was going to win on a basic move.
Willy Carter: There’s nothing basic about anything we do here in NCW!
{Kanyon pulls Joe to his feet by the head, then grabs hold of his arm, pulling Joe into a vicious Clothesline. Kanyon picks him up by the arm and executes the move again. This time, Kanyon simply kicks Joe out of the ring under the bottom rope. Joe hits the floor with a thud.}
Willy Carter: This is where dude does what he does.
Eric Hardy: This doesn’t bode well for Joe.
{Kanyon grabs hold of Joe and whips him into the barricade sideways. Kanyon touts the crowd who give him a mixed reaction as it seems crowd alignments don’t mean much on this final show. Kanyon looks back at Joe as the referee’s count is up to five. Kanyon rolls into the ring and rolls back out. Again he looks at Joe who is struggling to his feet up against the barricade. Kanyon looks at the blonde wig he threw into the corner and grabs hold of it, lifting it high in the air to a roar from the crowd while pointing at Joe.}
Dave Holland: Oh God, what the hell is he thinking.
Eric Hardy: This really doesn’t look good for Joe!
Willy Carter: We know he’s nuts when he’s blonde!
{Kanyon puts the wig on and rushes Joe looking to hit him with his vicious BANG! Spear.
NO!
Very last second possible, Joe dives out of the way and Kanyon slams hard into the barricade going right through the wall!
A “Holy $#!T” Chant as Kanyon lays in the rubble and Joe catches his breath on the floor. The referee though has his count up to seven.}
Willy Carter: Joe can win this by count out!
Dave Holland: I’m sure that’s not what he wants.
Eric Hardy: Then he better do something quick!
{Joe gets to his feet and lunges for the ring and rolls back out at the count of nine to restart the count. You can see him say, “NO!” as he heads over to Kanyon. He pulls Kanyon out of the broken barricade and rolls him into the ring. Joe slides in and hooks the leg…
1!
2!!
NO! Kanyon somehow manages to get the shoulder off the mat.}
Willy Carter: How he do that?
Eric Hardy: It’s what he does?
Willy Carter: Shut up.
Dave Holland: You two…
{Joe pulls Kanyon to his feet and grabs him by the arm, locking in a Hammerlock while ducking his head under Kanyon’s other arm. Then with a spin of momentum, Joe hits Kanyon with a Pepsi Twist clothesline. Joe floats over and locks in a Dragon Sleeper. Kanyon starts to squirm as he fights the pain of the hold. After a bit of squirming, Kanyon’s arm goes limp. The referee checks the first time and the arm drops. The sequence happens again, but the third time, Kanyon keeps his arm from dropping down.}
Willy Carter: Kanyon’s fighting.
Dave Holland: That he is, but this Dragon Sleeper is a dangerous move.
Eric Hardy: LOOK AT THIS!
{Kanyon shows off his strength bridging up and turning out of the hold, grabbing hold of Joe and squeezing him with a giant Bear Hug!}
Dave Holland: Kanyon gains control.
Eric Hardy: Great back and forth here.
Willy Carter: Like he said, Kanyon has control.
{Kanyon squeezes harder but Joe starts with Mongolian Chops to the side of the head of Kanyon and follows it up with some right hand shots to the face, breaking Kanyon’s grip before kicking him in the gut and going for a Neckbreaker which Kanyon turns into the original face to face interaction, grabbing Joe, lifting him into the air, turning and drilling him into the ground with a HUGE SPINEBUSTER!}
Willy Carter: THAT’S WHAT YOU DO BOOOOOY!
Eric Hardy: That was vicious!
Dave Holland: Kanyon has this one in the bag as he hooks the leg.
{1!
2!!
NOOOOOO!}
Willy Carter: WHAT!?
Dave Holland: Joe gets out of it.
Eric Hardy: Impressive.
{Kanyon leans in the corner and waits for Joe to get to his feet. Joe stumbles around and turns as Kanyon charges again, but AGAIN Joe moves but it’s the referee who is unlucky and gets hit with the BANG! (Spear)!}
Dave Holland: OH MY GOD!
Willy Carter: I think the referee is dead!
Eric Hardy: Don’t say that you moron.
{An “OOOOOOOOOOOH!!!” echoes throughout the arena as the referee gets nailed. Kanyon looks at the out cold referee and slaps the mat in frustration. Kanyon turns and as he does, Joe tries to take advantage and hit Kanyon with a Spear of his own. Kanyon sidesteps and pushes Joe’s face into the turnbuckle. Seeing the referee has rolled out of the ring, Kanyon exits and goes for his patented Sledge Hammer.}
Dave Holland: This is going to be bad.
Willy Carter: That’s right, bash his brains in.
Eric Hardy: The referee is down and Joe Everyman is in some trouble here.
{Kanyon waits for Joe and goes to swing the hammer at Joe’s head. Joe ducks and elevates Kanyon over the top rope. Kanyon flips over the rope and smacks the back of his neck on the apron and snaps forward, smashing his own face on the metal end of the sledge hammer!}
Willy Carter: What the hell!?
Dave Holland: Kanyon’s own face hit his sledge hammer!
Eric Hardy: The referee is down, and Joe is getting back to his feet.
{Joe watches and waits for Kanyon to stand back up before charging to the opposite ropes, and dives through onto the unsuspecting Kanyon, slamming the back of his head against the announce table!}
Eric Hardy: Both of these men are pulling out all the stops here!
Dave Holland: This is what NCW is all about.
Willy Carter: THIS IS WHAT WE DO!
Eric Hardy: That it is.
Dave Holland: Wait…you two agree?
{Joe is first to his feet and reaches under the ring, pulling out a ladder. The crowd erupts as he sets it up out on the floor.}
Dave Holland: Here we go.
Eric Hardy: A win on the last NCW show means everything to these two men.
Willy Carter: What the hell is he going to do with that?
{Joe waves his arms, taunting the crowd who approve of his actions. Joe turns and grabs Kanyon by the head slamming his face on the announce table not once but twice before letting him go to slide to the floor below. Joe turns and goes back under the ring.}
Willy Carter: Now what?
{Willy’s question is soon answered as Joe pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up a few feet from the ladder. The crowd raises the volume in excitement as Joe grabs Kanyon by the hair. Kanyon though fights him off with right hands to the face, followed by a kick to the gut and a DDT on the outside.}
Dave Holland: Joe looks like he is out cold now!
{Kanyon grabs hold of Joe and places him on the table. Kanyon then heads over to where he crashed through the barricade, and grabs hold of the blonde wig once more gaining praise from the crowd as he puts it on. Kanyon then looks at the ladder and climbs about three quarters of the way up.}
Dave Holland: Big man on the ladder!
Eric Hardy: This will be brutal!
Willy Carter: AHHHH!
{Kanyon falls forward off the ladder and crashes through Everyman as both men go to the floor through the table.}
Crowd: N-C-W! N-C-W! N-C-W!
Willy Carter: He killed him!
Eric Hardy: What is it with you and death tonight?
Dave Holland: Both men sent splinters flying as they smashed through the table.
Eric Hardy: Look at the aisle!
{To Hardy’s point, a referee comes sprinting down the ramp to the ring. Medical staff rush the scene and try to help both men who once they become more cognizant of their surroundings, begin shoving away the help. Kanyon is first to his feet and rolls into the ring as Joe does his best to crawl in. Kanyon leans in the corner as Joe gets to his feet. Kanyon charges again and this time BANG! hits Joe with his finishing maneuver and goes for the cover…
1!
2!!
3!!!
The bell rings and Kanyon is pronounced the winner.}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner, CURTIS KANYON!!
Dave Holland: What a hard fought match!
Eric Hardy: These two laid it all on the line.
Willy Carter: That’s how it should be!
{Kanyon’s music hits as the referee raises his arm in victory. Kanyon helps Joe to his feet as the crowd chants “Thank You!” The two men stand with their hands on their hips looking out to the crowd who let out a roar of approval. The two then look at each other and embrace in a show of respect giving each other some words of encouragement. Kanyon lifts his wig off his head and places it atop Joe’s head. The two raise their hands in the air as the crowd shows their approval as Kanyon’s music plays through the arena!}
Dave Holland: The man who is in the Hall of Fame more than any man in NCW history has picked up his final NCW win!
Eric Hardy: Amazing job by Curtis here. Everybody is proud of him and what he’s accomplished during his career.
{Down the ramp comes NCW Co-Owner and Kanyon’s tag team partner in Knitely Bangs, Adam Knite along with GQ and Obisdian. Adam slides into the ring as does Amber Ashe and Kanyon’s other entourage and extends Kanyon a hand of congratulations but Kanyon instead wraps his arms around Adam in a bug hug and the celebration continues as the crowd roars for the match these two men had and the victory of Curtis Kanyon along with several of his best friends along the way.}
Dave Holland: We’ll be right back after this fans for our next match... which should be... odd to say the least.
{The camera cuts to a video pacakge of Philip Burns versus Mike Honcho.}
Eric Hardy: I dont’ know what to say about this next match other than it’s going to be... “interesting.”
Willy Carter: Interesting is putting it lightly.
Dave Holland: Mike Honcho one of the most... “interesting” men to ever step into NCW.
Willy Carter: That’s putting it lightly.
Eric Hardy: Would you stop using that as a reply.
Dave Holland: Lets just get to the match shall we? I hear we’re going backstage first to see a very blue Mike Honcho.
{The beast of a man, Mike Honcho is seen walking backstage with The News in preparation of his match. They walks right past the two worst enhancement talents ever, Uncle Gerald and Cousin Billy Ray (yes worse than a cardboard cutout) who snicker at his blue appearance. Honcho stops and turns around.}
Mike Honcho: You girls got something to say to me?
Uncle Gerald: Uh no, boy. I just like that color on you. You look like one cool cat.
Mike Honcho: Cat? What the hell is that supposed to mean? You guys better calm down a hair or I'm gonna sock you right in the face.
Cousin Billy Ray: Ha! Calm down a HAIR. HAHA!
The News: Guys. Calm down. You don’t want any of this.
Uncle Gerald: Hey prick, maybe we do. You better watch your ass or I'll go ape on ya. Oops I did it again!
{Honcho growls and grabs Uncle Gerald by the neck.}
Mike Honcho: You listen here Britney Spears. I have no problem ripping your throat out right now. So you either apologize or this turns into Road House real quick.
Both: Sorry!
The News: Alright, come on Mike. They are sorry.
{They begin to walk away.}
Mike Honcho: Last show ever and everybody comes out of the woodwork...
{In the arena...
The Final Countdown hits the PA system and the crowd is a mix of cheers and boos. The News walks out onto the stage and some guys bring out a large wooden box. The News opens it, revealing it is empty. He closes it and sets it on fire. The cheap wood burns in a matter of seconds. When the smoke clears, There is a large steel safe on the stage where the box was. The News puts in the combination and opens the safe, revealing Mike Honcho!}
Eric Hardy: What a trick!
Willy Carter: Last show ever, cant hold anything back!
Dave Holland: Mike Honcho looking good, even if he is blue and hairy.
{The Magic Man and The News walk down the ramp, accompanied by a barrage of fireworks and sparks. Mike gets in the ring and removes his signature cap, waving his hand over it and magically pulls out another cap! This one says “Burns Sux.” Honcho puts it one as Newsington exits the ring.}
Dave Holland: One final dig at Philip Burns before this match gets under way.
Willy Carter: It's clear that Mike feels wronged by Burns. He tormented him for weeks to get this match.
Eric Hardy: But now that he has it, does he know what to do with it?
{The lights go down. Smoke fills the stage. A row of flames lines both sides of the walkway. “Move” by Thousand Foot Krutch hits the PA system and the fans go wild. The smoke starts to clear and we see Philip Burns standing tall on the top of the ramp. He begins his walk toward the ring}
Dave Holland: Here he is! The former world champion!
Willy Carter: It just feels right to have these two on the final show.
Eric Hardy: Burns is almost down the ramp and we are moments away from two former friends duking it out!
{Burns climbs into the ring and comes to the middle to meet Honcho face to face. The bells sounds and they circle each other. It looks like they are going for a lock up but Mike kicks Burns in the gut and applies a hammer lock. Burns backs the hairy beast into the corner and elbows him in the face before countering with a hammer lock of his own. Burns walks backwards up the turnbuckles while still applying the hammerlock. He gets to the second rope and front flips over Honcho and delivers a cutter! Honcho is down and Burns bounces off the ropes for a standing elbow drop. He goes for another and as he makes impact Mike grabs him around the neck and stands up to deliver a side effect! Honcho has Burns in the middle of the ring and jumps off the middle rope and nails a Lionsault but its only good for a 2 count pin!}
Eric Hardy: I don’t believe what I am seeing!
Willy Carter: Whatever Mike Honcho did to himself seems to have paid off with incredible athleticism!
Dave Holland: Before tonight the most impressive thing out of him was a sunset flip!
{Honcho forces Burns' shoulders back to the mat but only gets a 1. He gets him to his feet and Irish whips Burns. Honcho bends over for a back drop but Phil kicks him in the midsection then comes back off the opposite ropes and knees him in the head. Honcho is down. Buns covers but a forceful kick out at 1! The magic man has anger in his eyes and he throws Burns shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Honcho continues to work the shoulder with strikes before he does a hammer lock suplex right onto the tweaked arm/shoulder of Burns. Honcho climbs to the top rope and goes for a huge elbow drop but misses as Burns rolls out! Burns off the ropes now with a leg drop and the momentum has changed! They’re up and Burns whips him into the corner and follows it up with a running knee. Burns puts Honcho up on his shoulders and gets ready for a Death Valley Driver but Mike Grabs the ropes. Burns pulls away from the ropes as Mike desperately tries to hold on. Honcho's grip slips and Burns topples into the referee! The official is down! Mike recovers and quickly nails a Magic Trick brainbuster on Burns. This should be over!}
Dave Holland: Oh no. The referee is down!
Eric Hardy: Honcho has him but the damn referee is down!
Willy Carter: Burns is out. His former friend Honcho has nailed him with his finisher and no referee is in sight!
{Honcho tried the pin but realized the referee is out. He angrily tosses Phil out of the ring and lets out an animalistic growl!}
Willy Carter: Burns is laying right out here in front of us. It looks like Honcho is going to take the fight to the outside!
Dave Holland: That’s one silver lining to the referee being down!
Eric Hardy: Wait guys, not so fast. Look!
{Uncle Gerald and Cousin Billy Ray come down the ramp. The News tries to get in their way but he is quickly laid out by the duo. Honcho realizes what is going on and holds his ground in the ring. The first thing they do is kick him in the sack and quickly begin punching and kicking him. Honcho briefly gets in some offense with punches and clotheslines but is quickly taken down by the tag team from small town Arkansas! Burns is beginning to recover on the outside and Sees what is going on. He looks on, not sure what to do.}
Eric Hardy: Burns get in there and help him! He was your friend man!
Willy Carter: That’s not the case any more though. Burns could help him but he isn’t obligated to.
Dave Holland: That’s a tough call to make.
{Burns climbs up to the apron, looking on as these hillbillies dismantle his former friend. The crowd chants “KICK THEIR ASSES” over and over. The ref has started to come to and calls for the bell to be rung. Burns slowly climbs between the ropes and and stands there behind them. Suddenly he snaps. He grabs Uncle Gerald by the beard and tosses him out. He picks up Cousin Billy Ray and presses him over his head and throws him out onto Uncle Gerald. Honcho is bleeding out the mouth and visibly beaten up. Burns walks over to him and extends a hand as the audience cheers! Burns asks for a microphone.}
PB: Mike, The only reason I agreed to fight tonight is because I wanted to give you what you wanted. But I seem to remember something you wanted before that. You asked me to tag team with you at A Night to Remember. I was too stubborn to realize what an honor it would be. As a former world champion it's not beneath me at all to stand in the ring with my best friend and take on a challenge. Well Mike, it's A Night to Remember, we both have mustaches, and we have two opponents right now. What do you say?
{Mike high fives Burns as the crowd erupts. The News is back and grabs Uncle Gerald and Billy Ray and rolls them into the ring. Burns grabs Gerald, BURN NOTICE! Honcho grabs Billy Ray, Magic TRICK! Honcho makes the pin, 1...2..3!!!}
Willy Carter: I don’t believe this! Burns and Honcho together again!
Eric Hardy: Dreams do come true!
Dave Holland: Dreams do come true? How does that apply to this situation at all?
{The News slides in the ring and hands Honcho a giant victory burrito. The crowd is loving every second of it as he holds it up to them, takes one bite and throws it down onto Billy Ray. News hand Burns a burrito. Burns looks down at it as the crowd chants “DO IT! DO IT!”. Phil smiles at his friend, takes a single bite and throws it down onto Uncle Gerald. They all hug in the middle of the ring to thunderous applause.}
Dave Holland: This is ridiculous...
Willy Carter: ...ly awesome.
Eric Hardy: I'm going to miss these guys.
Dave Holland: Speaking of people I’m going to miss.. I see the Dragon’s Den being lowered.
Eric Hardy: This is going to be an incredible match against two of NCW’s very best ever.
Dave Holland: I can’t wait... but sadly I will have to as we have to get to this video package for it.
{A video package plays of not only Spike versus Angel but of every Dragon’s Den match ever.}
Dave Holland: I am pumped more than ever after that.
Eric Hardy: You can say that again, but liekly now there is no time to wait here we go!
{The arena lights go out and some lights flashe in time with the guitar riff as "My Curse" hits the sound system, strobe lights flashing with the drums as they kick in, the video showing wide shots and arching shots of Spike Kane, before the lone bass drum and guitar riff play the lights black out.}
"YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-ALRIGHT!"
{As Howard Jones' voice rips through the arena the lights flash wildly, and the tron shows quick flashes of Spike nailing people with the "Thunderstruck" before panning to the figure of Spike Kane standing on the entrance way with his arms outstretched to his side with a slight angle, his palms facing upwards.}
“I watched you walk away
Hopeless, with nothing to say
I strain my eyes
Hoping to see you again"
The strobe lights flash wildly as Spike sprints to the ring with the song continuing in the background}
"This is my curse (the longing)
This is my curse (time)
This is my curse (the yearning)
This is my curse"
{He rolls through to his knees in the centre of the ring and thrusts his arms into an "X" across his chest, smirking to the crowd, but not acknowledging any of their cheers or taunts.}
"There is love burning to find you
Will you wait for me?
Will you be there"
{He climbs to his feet as the melodic part of the song comes to an end and extends his arms once more at a slight angle, raising his head as if to say 'I'm above you' to the crowd and smirks as the music dies down with Howard's scream and the lights return to normal.}
Eric Hardy: With the Dragon’s Den walls in place, it’s creator is here to pay his final respects to nCw inside that very creation.
Willy Carter: Against arguably the toughest opponent he’s ever faced.
{ The arena lights go out and strobes begin to go off all over the arena as "Again we Rise" by Lamb of God blares through the PA system. }
RISE!!!!!!
{ The Savior X logo appears on the screen, however "Again we Rise" is abruptly cut off by "Ghost Walking" off Lamb of Gods forthcoming album right as the guitars kick in. A giant red X with the word Savior written across the center of it blazes on the screen as Angel slowly rises from a circle of fire on the entrance ramp. He does not look to the crowd as he throws his arms up over his head in the form of an X and pillars of fire shoot up from either side of him. He steps forward and through the flames his sleeveless black trench coat skating by. Angel walks on beat with the song to the ring, the lights still flashing and the entire arena booing him. He climbs up onto the apron and pulls himself up onto the second rope on the outside of the ring and puts his arms up again in an X as the final line of the chorus resounds through out the arena. }
"THERE'S NO ONE LEFT TO SAVE!"
{ He jumps down into the ring and bows his head as the music fades out... }
Dave Holland: I’ve been in one of these, and I am not looking forward to it.
The two nCw legends stand across from each other as the referee calls for the bell to begin the match. Spike starts to move his feet around as he eyes up the door, making sure it is closed. Angel doesn’t move a muscle, just staring down Spike before locks eyes with Savior X and the two nod at each other. A ripple of tension can be felt through the crowd as the two men move towards each other and the crowd begin to roar their approaval.
Eric Hardy: The nCw crowd have always been behind their stars.
Willy Carter: And they are craving blood here tonight!
The two men lock up with fierce intensity and Angel manages to use his to get the advantage to gain control of the lock up. He wrenches Spike’s body before spinning him around into a sharp snap backbreaker and then a quick elbow to the torso to follow up. Kane recoils but isn’t able to block the elbow, he rolls away in pain with Angel hot on his heels. Angel drags Spike to his feet and whips him off the ropes, the God of Xtreme comes back full pelt, ducking under Angel and jumping into the ropes, this time coming back with a huge springboard pele kick!
Eric Hardy: A great feat of agility by Spike there, took Angel by surprise.
Dave Holland: Spike will have to keep Angel on his toes if he wants to win here tonight.
Angel falls down a little surprised at Spike’s agility, but alas the God of Xtreme is on him in seconds sending left after right into the face of Saviour X. Angel recoils as Spike begins to rain down punches, but Angel doesn’t fret, from his position on his back he starts firing some right back into the face of Spike. The two of them have such a deep seeded rivalry that they don’t even attempt to block their opponents punches, they are just bothered about landing their own.
Willy Carder: These dudes just want to hurt each other!
Eric Hardy: Be thankful you’re not in there.
After a few hard shots each they just seem to piss each other off even more and eventually the begin to roll around throwing bombs. The referee decides not to stop them, and eventually Spike Kane winds up on top and sends a quick boot to the face of Angel, forcing Savior X to recoil and hold his face in pain. Spike stumbles to the turmbuckle and tries to catch his breath. He looks up to the Den itself and the items littered around the walls of his hellish structure. Spike slides from the ring and goes to the Den wall grabbing a kendo stick from the wall. He smacks it off of the corner of the ring, just to hear that satisfactory smack, however when he turns to face the ring Angel is back on his feet, and he plunges through the ropes catching Spike with a huge diving spear sending both men into the harsh steel Den wall covered in barbed wire!
Dave Holland: Oh sweet baby jesus, that has GOT to hurt!
Willy Carter: Damn, their wives are not going to be happy.
Spike lays in a heaped mess on the floor, his back pressed up against the barbed wire, digging into his skin. Angel has untangled his hair from the wall and has stumbled to his feet snatching the kendo stick from Spike. He starts slamming it against the Den wall, as Spike slowly manages to pull himself free and to his feet. He faces Angel, just in time for…SMACK!! Angel cracks him right in the forehead with the kendo stick, and the crowd react with a huge roar of sick approaval as Spike simply flops to his knees, and Angel rounds on him once more….SMACK!!! Another sick smack to the head with the kendo stick, Spike hits the deck outside the ring between the Den walls and the ring. Angel holds the kendo stick in the air to sick applause.
Eric Hardy: Well, we used to see Spike sporting his crimson mask a lot during the early days.
Dave Holland: That’s my friend, willing to put his body on the line to put the company over, but he didn’t need to do this…
Willy Carter: Yes he did, he needed to prove he was better than Angel!
Angel drops the stick and drags the almost lifeless carcass of Spike Kane into the ring, sliding in after him as he goes for an early pinfall here. One……Two…..Thr-NO! Spike somehow manages to kick out! Angel doesn’t look too happy about it, but something about the focus on his face seems to say he expected as much. He drags Spike back to his feet, but Spike bursts upwards thrusting both arms up and breaking Angels hold before a swift kick to the gut and…..THUNDERSTRUCK!! Both men drop to the mat, Spike is bleeding everywhere and Angel almost looks knocked out cold.
Eric Hardy: Out of nowhere! Boom!
Willy Carter: You’ve been…..thunderstruck! ……fool.
The referee looks like he desperately wants to count these two out and end this madness, but he knows that there are no count outs here, pinfalls and submissions only. Spike starts to crawl towards Angel and flops an arm over him, the referee drops down….One! …….Two! ……Th-KICKOUT! Angel thrusts his shoulder into the air with defiance, and Spike grimaces in pain, his face absolutely covered in blood. Spike manages to drag himself to his feet using the ropes and he climbs out onto the apron grabbing a trash can from the Den wall., before dropping off and catching his breath. Within seconds Angel is on his feet again and he comes diving towards Spike through the ropes, but Spike scouted it this time. Spike side steps and smashes Angel in the head with the trash can, forcing Angel to dive unprotected into the barbed wire wall!
Dave Holland: Oh God, I feel sick. That could have ended Angel’s career right there, and Spike knew exactly what he was doing.
Angel lays a bloody mess on the floor as Spike let’s out a deep sigh and drops the trash can, he then goes to the Den wall and drags a table from amongst the barbed wire, before sliding it into the ring. Spike then grabs some wire cutters and goes about cutting off a section of the barbed wire, throwing that in the ring too. He slides in and quickly sets about wrapping the barbed wire around the now set up table in the middle of the ring. However, Angel has not been quiet this whole time, he has grabbed a two by four with some cloth on the end. He has covered the cloth in lighter fluid and set it on fire! Angel slides into the ring and swings for Spike wildly with the 2 x 4. Spike doesn’t have a clue and gets smacks in the back, his flesh searing as Angel hits him again. Spike drops to his knees and Angel hits the ropes coming back with a quick snap dropkick to the face of Kane, dropping the 2 x 4 in the process. Angel quickly stamps out the fire he had made before he gets a sick grin on his face.
Willy Carter: These two…..are going to kill each other….
Dave Holland: I hope the kids aren’t watching.
Angel rolls out of the ring back to the lighter fluid and the lighter that he had and comes back in to Spike’s creation he was busy attempting to build. The table, wrapped in barbed wire. Angel hefts the lighter fluid into the air, and the crowd go ape ****, they haven’t sat down for a second during this match, but they’re rabid right now. He turns to the table and starts soaking it with lighter fluid, the table is absolutely covered and he is just about to set the table on fire when Spike clocks him in the back with a chair! Angel drops to a knee, and drops the lighter. Spike hefts the chair again, but Angel tackles him to the ground and the two of them start rolling around trying to punch each others faces in again.
Eric Hardy: What madness are they planning!?
This time Angel rolls through and he postures up before delivering a huge elbow to Spike’s face, the God of Xtreme is already sporting a crimson mask, and he laughs wildly as he shifts his legs and locks Angels arm in a triangle choke. Angel spins around wildly trying to break out of it, but Spike screams a roar of defiance as he refuses to let go. Angel reaches out for the ropes, but the referee drops down to his knees and explains that there’s no DQ. Spike screams at Angel to tap, but he shouts obscenities back at Spike, before he reaches for the 2 x 4 he had dropped earlier and swings for Spike, however Spike let’s go of the hold and moves away from Angel, scrambling to his feet, Angel chases him he swings after Spike once more, but Spike ducks underneath and bam! BLOODY SUNDAY!!!
Willy Carter: POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!
Spike drops to a knee and breathes heavily as Angel sinks to the floor, he looks at Angel as if thinking about going for the cover before he looks up to the table, and the lighter on the floor. He drags Angel to his feet and whips him into the corner before taking the lighter and holding it into the air shouting at the top of his lungs “N! C! W!” he puts the lighter to the table the flames go up in a woosh, Angel it seems had spelt out NCW in the lighter fluid and now the table covered in barbed wire was on fire spelling out nCw.
Dave Holland: Oh my god….pay homage boys, but not like this!
Eric Hardy:I don’t think I can watch this….
Willy Carter: They are insane….
Spike goes back over to the turnbuckle and lifts Angel up onto the top turnbuckle before climbing up after him, the two are standing on top of the apron when Spike seems to whisper something to Angel, it seemed to be something like “I’m sorry….” And he lifts Angel up and….SWEET MOTHER OF GOD!!! A SPIKE IMPAILER OFF THE TURNBUCKLE THROUGH THE FLAMING TABLE COVERED IN BARBED WIRE!!! Both men are all but dead in the middle of the ring as the referee reacts quickly and uses the fire extinquisher passed to him by another ref. He checks that both men are still alive amongst the wreckage, true wreckage. He spots Spike on top of Angel, and Angels shoulders on the matt…….One!......Two!...........Three!! It’s over, Spike Kane defeats Angel.
Dave Holland: Spike Kane may have won here tonight, but the chances that both of these men may have ended their careers here tonight are very high.
Eric Hardy: We’ve got EMT’s checking on both men now….
Inside the ring we can see both men starting to wake up, and they make eye contact before they reach out and shake hands to an absolutely rousing applause from the crowd.
Willy Carter: Two amazing men…..

SEGMENT
Jimmy Turner
”Goodbye.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dave Holland: Fans I’m afraid we have some bad news... we’ve gotten word back from a local hosopital and as of a few minutes ago... NCW Janitor Jimmy Turner has passed away.
Eric Hardy: He will be missed... we’re going to have a few moments of silence in memorial to the best damn janitor that has ever lived.
{The lights in the arena dim to where pretty much only the NCW tron and night sky are visible as the NCW tron displays a graphic for the memory of Jimmy Turner.}
{We head back to ringside as the lights come back on and are at ringside where all three men are sitting there silently staring forward. Willy turns to the other two and they turn to him.}
Willy Carter: umm... correct me if I’m wrong but... wasn’t that...
Eric Hardy: Yes. A typo... really guys? There was literally three words on there and we couldn’t bother to spell check it? I mean come on!
Dave Holland: Bimmy isn’t even a real name!
Eric Hardy: Ugh... whatever... We’re going to miss you Jimmy... but as he would have wanted the show must go on, because we got a huge match up next.
Dave Holland: Markus Reeves decided that he was going to make his mark on NCW by calling out Todd Williams for this final show... and to make sure Todd accepted he brought Todd’s wife Crystal in and assaulted her...
Eric Hardy: Markus Reeves has proven the past year that he will do anything for success and recognition. He brutally beat Zelda Knite to within an inch of her life and now this... he’s a horrible person.
Willy Carter: That’s why it’s going to be great when my boy T-Will puts him in his place, you feel me?
Eric Hardy: I never thought I’d say this but yes... I do feel you Willy.
Eric Hardy: This next match is a match that I have been looking forward too for a while. It all started when Markus Reeves decided to place his hands on the wife of Todd Williams. He has been abusing her for weeks and now here we are at A Night To Remember.
Dave Holland: Markus Reeves has been on a rampage lately and to be honest I don’t know if Todd has it in him to take on a man like that. We have heard from Markus for the past 3 shows and Todd has been quiet. What can Todd really do against a monster such as Reeves?
Willy Carter: You need to shut up Dave. My boy Todd Williams is going to come to the ring mean business and go home with the big W. That’s we do! Let’s go Todd!
Amber Ashe: Ladies and gentlemen the following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Long Island New York being accompanied by Melody Williams.... TODD WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!
{“Be Somebody” by Thousand Foot Krutch begins to blast across the speakers. As it does so two spotlights quickly hit the ramp and we are able to see the silhouette of a man standing behind the curtain. Todd Williams slowly backs up through the curtain backwards and extends his arms out into a crucifix. The fans begin to go nuts as he quickly turns around and grins at everyone in the audience. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, and he doesn’t seem to be alone as his manager and cousin Melody Williams walks out beside him. Todd grins as he claps the hand of some fans before sliding into the ring. He bounces around a bit as he awaits his opponent’s arrival}
Willy Carter: LET’S GO TODD... SHOW THE WORLD YOU MEAN BUSINESS!!!
Dave Holland: Willy settle down...
Willy Carter: Don’t tell me to settle down... That’s TODD WILLIAMS!!!
Amber Ashe: And his opponent from Glendale, Arizona weighing in at 315 lbs at 7 ft tall Markus Reeves!!!
{Absolute Zero by Stone Sour starts to blare of there the PA as Markus E. Reeves makes his way onto the stage. Boos rain down from the crowd as Markus starts to walk down the ramp. He gets down to the ring and stares at Melody as he starts to make his way towards her. Melody however backs away as he slowly pursues her. Todd quickly planchas over the top rope headed in Reeves direction and the tall man grabs Todd and drives him across the steel steps.}
Willy Carter: This is bull “BEEP”
Eric Hardy: Markus was pursuing Melody, Todd tried to save her and now he is paying the price for it.
Dave Holland: This match isn’t officially underway yet.
{Markus lifts Todd up and he slams him hard across the barricade. Todd’s body pops off the barricade and he can only clutch at his chest in pain as he screams at the top of his lungs. Markus lifts Todd up and rolls him into the ring. Markus makes his way into the ring and the referee immediately calls for the bell to signal the start of the match. The bell sounds loudly as we officially have a match. Todd crawls over to the opposite side of the ring and pulls himself up as Markus slowly towers at him from behind. Markus is almost there and immediately Todd turns around and launches a super kick aimed right at Reeves face. It connects but Reeves just shakes it off as he stares back at Todd grabbing him by the neck. He places him in between his legs and lifts him in the air for a power bomb. Todd is all the way up but Todd fights back as he launches punch after punch aimed right at Markus head. Markus loses his grip and Todd falls down landing on the opposite side of Markus.}
Eric Hardy: Todd went for a super kick to start the match and it apparently had no effect on Markus.
Dave Holland: Markus went for a super kick but now it seems that Todd has the upper hand.
Willy Carter: I told you not to count Todd out! Do your thing T-Will
{Willy stand sup and claps his hands as Todd lands on the opposite side of Markus. Todd wraps his arms around Markus and goes for a German Suplex but Todd can’t manage to pick the big man up. Reeves stands up and he drives an elbow right against the face of Todd. Todd’s head pops up and Markus turns around. He grabs a hold of Todd lifting him up into the air and drives him down to the mat with a spinebuster. Todd’s back hit’s the mat with a loud thud and Markus smirks as he places a single foot on top of him for a pin. The referee drops down to make a count. 1....2..Before the referee can get to the count of three Todd is able to throw a shoulder up and the fans are now behind him. Melody slaps on the mat and Todd is feeling it as he kips up to his feet. He offers a grin as he stares over at Markus telling him to bring it. Markus welcomes the challenge as he makes his way over to Todd. Todd runs towards Markus and he quickly slides in between his legs. He lands up on the opposite side of Markus and proceeds to do a double drop kick and sends Markus to the ropes. Markus bounces back and Todd jumps up locking his legs tightly around Markus head. Without hesitation he uses all of the strength in his body and manages to send the man down to the mat with a hurricarana. Todd kips up and he smirks as he raises his hands to the crowd to get them involved.}
Willy Carter: TODD MEANS BUSINESS!!!!
Dave Holland: This may be the opening that Todd was looking for.
Eric Hardy: The question is let’s see what he can do with it.
{Markus slowly rises up to his feet and Todd quickly sprints towards Markus as he jumps up and nails Reeves in the face with his shining wizard. Markus falls to the floor and Todd doesn’t waste any time as he drops across the big man. 1...2.. Markus easily is able to get out of the move as he chucks Todd off of him like a ragdoll. Todd slowly stands back up as does Markus. Markus swings and misses and Todd hits a few right hands staggering Markus, but he can't take the big man down. Todd hits the ropes and clotheslines Markus, but it only staggers him more. Todd hits the ropes for another, but Reeves gets a big boot up in time to stop Todd! The crowd boos.}
Eric Hardy: And this may be all she wrote for Todd Williams.
Willy Carter: It's never over!
{Markus singles that the match is over as he picks up Todd and puts him in power bomb position and lifts him, Todd is up but wiggles free and lands behind Reeves. Reeves turns and eats a superkick!}
Willy Carter: Sweet Dreams!
Dave Holland: But the big man is still up!
{Reeves stumbles around, but does not go down. Todd rears back and nails Reeves again with a superkick. And AGAIN Reeves still stands. He rebounds off the ropes, out of his feet. Todd hauls off and hits one more, and Reeves drops like a tree finally down. Todd leaps into the cover, hooking the leg 1...2...3!}
Willy Carter:TODD MEANS BUSINESS!
Eric Hardy: Todd Williams gets a victory over the massive Markus Reeves.
{ Todd rolls off of Markus and throws his arms in the air in victory. He goes outside the ring, running around the ring yelling at the top of his lungs "I'M TODD WILLIAMS!" As his music plays. He even slaps up Willy Carter before heading up the ramp and taking a bow.}
Willy Carter: What did I tell you.
Eric Hardy: That was a great win for Todd, taking down a big man like that.
Willy Carter: That's because he's Todd Williams and...
Dave Holland: Yes, we know, he means business.
Dave Holland: What a match this should be... Davey Ortega inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier today and a final send off match against one of NCW's brightest young stars during her final days.
Eric Hardy: It's going to be the wiley old veteran against the man who is going to reshape the wrestling world soon enough.
Willy Carter: If he hasn't already.
{''Back in the Saddle Again'' hits the speakers as the fans have a mixed reaction. Davey Ortega comes from the back and stand on the entrance way looking to the ring, then eying both sides of the crowed. He walks down the ring with confidence, making his way up the stairs to the apron, he walks to the middle of the apron and turns to acknowledge the fans, raising his hand for a photo opportunity before he gets into the ring and waits.}
Eric Hardy: Guys, Davey Ortega for better or worse has been here since the beginning...but in many eyes never succeeded in realising the potential we all knew he had.
Dave Holland: He's had a good career but Davey let his own demons stop him.....
Willy Carter: He's had a terrible career and he's a loser....
Eric Hardy: What the hell is your problem?
{Potions by Puscifer begins to play, Xander walks to the ring and awaits his opponent}
Dave Holland: And another emotional display by Xander Famularo....
Eric Hardy: Hahahahaha very funny...
Willy Carter: He's been one of the most dominant forces in NCW history...how can Davey failtega stand up to that?....
{Xander stalks around the ring and stares down Davey, the bell rings and Ortega seeming overzealous charges in at Xander, Xander covers up as Ortega hits hard rights and lefts before clotheslining the big man down, as Xander goes to get up Ortega uses his speed knocking Xander back down with a low dropkick, Ortega bounces to his feet and as Xander goes to get up Ortega runs in with a running DDT taking the big man down face first, Ortega goes for the pin 1....2...Xander kicks out, straight away Davey stays on Xander with a side headlock keeping him down, Ortega leans all his weight on Xander's neck. The crowd starts to clap in unison willing Xander to his feet, Xander kicks his legs and tries to pull himself up, as he does Ortega lifts his body up and slams it back down on Xander.}
Eric Hardy: Ortega is taking it straight to Xander tonight guys...
Willy Carter: This is what Davey needed to do...
Dave Holland: The only way to beat Famularo is to stay on him like a rash
{Xander rolls his body over bringing Ortega into a pin 1....2...Ortega kicks out and rolls back over keeping Xander down, Xander slams his fist on the mat in frustration, Xander again spins and gets to his hands and knee's Ortega tries to push Xander back down but Xander gets to his feet and [picks Ortega up for a back suplex, Ortega throws his body backwards, lands on his feet and sprints to the ropes, Xander spins around and catches Ortega with a big boot sending him down.}
Willy Carter: Ortega tries hard but that's it...I foresee a short match from here...
Eric Hardy: Don't count Davey out...
Dave Holland: Xander is a beast and Davey just lost his advantage....
{Xander ducks down as Davey gets to his feet, he uses a double leg to pick Ortega up and slam him down straight onto his back. Ortega holds his back in obvious pain as Xander stalks his opponent, Ortega pulls himself up, Xander hits a hard knee to ortega's stomach before setting him up for a vertical suplex, Xander snaps it off and floats over 1....2...Ortega kicks out. Xander gets to his feet standing over Davey.}
Willy Carter: Xander has just entered beast mode....
Dave Holland: That amazing amateur background is coming into it here....
{As ortega gets pulled to his feet suddenly Davey grabs Xanders arm and pulls him down to the ground into the saturday night ride crossface, Xandetr reaches for the ropes, Davey wrentches it harder, the crowd is going nuts, believing Davey can pull this off. Xander again reaches towards the ropes but can't quite make it..."tap..tap ypou big son of a..." Davey screams at Xander, Xander looks as if he's about to tap, but he slowly closes his fist and pulls himself up before rolling over on top of Davey 1...2....Davey releases the hold to kick out}
Dave Holland: Davey has it locked in!....Xander could tap!
Eric Hardy: No Xander just reversed!
Willy Carter: A nearfall from that!
{Xander shakes out his arm as he gets to one knee, Davey comes in and attacks Xander with rights and lefts before hitting a swinging neckbreaker, he goes for the pin 1....2...Xander kicks out. Davey gets to his feet looking frustrated before walking to the corner, Davey sits low and begs Xander to get to his feet, Xander pulls himself up slowly his arm hurting, Davey runs in going for the setting sun spear!. He connects and goes for the pin 1....2....Xander kicks out, Davey can not beleive it.}
Eric Hardy: Davey thought he had it won!
Willy Carter: So close....can you beleive this?....
{Davey gets to his feet and turns almost in pure anger to climb to the top rope. He gets to the top and waves bye bye to xander before going for the corkscrew headbutt, Xander rolls out of the way!. Both men are down, they start to move and struggle to their feet, Davey turns and stumbles into the widowmaker!. Davey goes down, Xander pulls Davey back to his feet and hits the metal health! and the pin 1....2....3}
Dave Holland: Great match between these two!
Eric Hardy: Davey Ortega, one of my personal all time favorites again showing how much heart he has. he took on this monster of a man and almost had it. You'll be missed Mr. Ortega!
Dave Holland: We'll be right back fans, and I totally agree, amazing match and I'll miss you too Ortega.
Eric Hardy: Now as you can see by the pedastal that is being brought to the ring.. it’s time for a Hall of Fame induction, Alex Jones will be accepting his induction here tonight before his World title match. Davey ortega as you know was inducted earlier on NCW.com.

SEGMENT
Alex Jones
”Hall of Fame”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The arena is electric as a podium stands on the stage. Blood by in this momnent hits as Shelly Taylor Jones wearing a low cut evening dress comes out to applause.}
Shelly Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight on this our final NCW show ever, it is my honor and privelege to induct my husband, Alex Jones into the NCW hall of fame. For the past five years Alex has left it all in the ring on a nightly basis. He's always loved what he does in that very ring and he has had an amazing career with tournament victories, many titles and a coliseum win.....
{Behind Shelly on the big screen many pictures are shown of the times in question.}
Shelly Jones: So.....I would like to ask Alex to come out here and accept his induction....
{"Unsettling differences" by blue smock nancy hits as Alex Jones makes his way out, in his ring gear and a black hooded sweatshirt, he pulls his wife close into a passionate embrace and turns to the fans who applaude as Alex holds the hall of fame plaque and slips on the ring.}
Alex Jones: Um...wow. You know, for years I thought, with great honesty and heartache that the world title was the only thing that could make me feel accomplished...hell in the weeks leading up to this I kept saying that I thought the hall of fame meant little without that title.....
{Alex, obviously choked up by the emotion takes the breathe the crowd starts a "thank you Alex" chant.}
Alex Jones: No...not thank you Alex...it's thank you fans....it's thank NCW...it's thank you Fox family......without all that...Alex Jones would be a nobody.....
{The fans of course erupt for this as Alex smiles, wiping a tear from his eye}
Alex Jones: I don't want this to drag on to long so I'll just thank a few more people. My wife Shelly, for being my other half and for loving me no matter what stupid things my mouth got me into. To my friends, Todd, Xander, Gib, Markus, Ricky,Trent, Roberto and Adam..I know I'm breaking Kayfabe here but really thank you.....to the fox family for signing me and putting up with my temper tantrums and last...to Angel.....I left him last cause he and I have had our differences...or problems...but truthfully there would be no Alex Jones without Angel...you were my biggest rival and a great influence....thank you all..oh but before I go.....Verona...I was wrong....this is about NCW not the title.....let's give these people a show to remember buddy.....
{Alex puts a fist in the air before leaping the guardrail and leaving through the fans}
{A video package for our next match plays. Xavier Cross versus Will Washington.}
Dave Holland: Two best friends are at it up next in a tribute to NCW.
Eric Hardy: Should be a great one, these two know each other like the back of their hands.
Willy Carter: I can’t wait to see what they pull out for this.
{The nCw-tron with a black screen, we then see Xavier Cross standing there. A bead of sweat drops off his face, and slowly drips. The camera zooms in as the bead falls into a small puddle, the lights in the arena grow dark. Then the music begins. We hear words spoken through the introduction part of the song.
"I am the shadow, and the smoke in your eyes
I am the ghost, that hides in the night."
Boom-lay boom-lay, boom!
{On the 'Boom!' part we see Xavier Cross step out from the back throwing his arm up, as the fans stand up in unison exploding with cheers. He begins his decesent down towards the ring. The rest of 'Diamond Eyes' by Shinedown plays as Cross high fives some fans before sprinting into the ring. He looks around, before ascending the turnbuckle pointing out to the fans who cheer madly. He kisses his tapped wrist that bare "CC" on either side, before pointing towards the sky. Leaping down from the turnbuckle, he motions for a microphone as the music fades}
Dave Holland: “Here we go, friend versus friend, no drama, no story, no title. This is just going to be a pure knock out drag out, fight for the fans.”
Eric Hardy: “It’s crazy a few years ago, these two wanted to end each other’s life. Now there gonna go out with a bang.”
Willy Carter: “Kind of like Will banged Cari?”
Dave Holland: “Look’s like Cross is about to say something…”
Xavier Cross: “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Xavier The Savior Cross versues The Patriotic Paragon Will Washington, and first, weighing in at Two Hundred and Twenty Pounds, he stands at six feet, three inches, hailing from the historic Lexington, Virginia. The one, the only…XAVIER CROSS!”
“XAVIER CROSS! XAVIER CROSS! XAVIER CROSS!”
Xavier Cross: “And his opponent tonight, standing at six feet, three inches. Weighing in at Two Hundred and Thirty Two pounds. He hails from Cambridge, Massachusetts….He is an America Hero, A Soldier at Arms, and The one and only Patriotic Paragon. He is a man I call my best friend, the one, the only. WIIIIILLLL….WAAASHINGTON!”
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in it’s rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before smirking and starting down the ramp.}
{Washington walks down the ramp with and acknowledges the fans. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and looks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start.}
Eric Hardy: “Not bad Cross. Not bad.”
Dave Holland: “Have we ever had someone introduced themselves, and their opponent?”
{The two men dance around, starring each other down. Cross waves his hands up and down, the crowd leaps to their feet, the cheering is almost deafening. Washington has a serious look on his face, but holds his hand up, fist clenched. Xavier obliges the gesture, as the two share a fist bump. The bell rings, and the two step forward. Locking up, if they fans couldn’t get any louder, they defined physics.}
Eric Hardy: “I can barely hear myself think.”
Willy Carter: “Good. Here we go boys!”
Dave Holland: “A clash of Heroes, of Friends!”
{Cross gets the early advantage, moving the lock up, to a headlock, applying pressure. Will isn’t panicking, grabbing Cross’s arm, and twisting it, breaking the lock and wrenches the arm. Cross slaps his shoulder, before ducking underneath, clutching Will’s arm now. But Washington manages to use raw power, to loosen Cross’s grip, and follows with a counter arm drag, putting Xavier back flat on the mat. Cross goes to sit up, but Will follows up with a hard kick to the head, before dropping down for a quick pin…}
1…2..
Eric Hardy: “Washington looking for a quick advantage with that hard kick. Cross is seeing stars.”
Dave Holland: “It’s gonna take more than that to put down Cross.”
{Cross manages to get a shoulder up, a little stunned. Will Washington isn’t letting up, getting Xavier to his feet. Will whips Cross into the ropes, Cross immediately comes back with a Lou-Thesz Press, taking Washington to the ground before delivering a series of rights and lefts, the fire coming out of Xavier Cross, landing the blows to Washington’s face. Will manages to block enough, grabbing Xavier by the back of the head hitting him with a headbutt, Cross manages to stay on top of Washington, but Will wrenches Cross’s neck downwards, locking in a guillotine choke.}
Willy Carter: “Will has a guillotine locked in, this could end earlier than we expected.”
Dave Holland: “Patience my young apprentice..”
{Cross is fumbling, before rolling over, and bridging out, breaking Will’s grip on the hold, the two men scramble to their feet, circling. Cross has a smile on his face, Will remains cold as ice. The two lock up again, Will overpowers and forces Xavier into the corner. Cross breaks the clutch, but Will catches him with a knife edge chop to the chest. Cross sends a hard right, Will follows up with another chop, Cross tries to send another jab, but Will blocks and hits him with a headbutt.}
Dave Holland: “A vicious headbutt, this is a street fight minus the street.”
Eric Hardy: “Will is willing to use his entire body as a weapon!”
{Cross gets deseperate as Will is giving him the beat down in the corner, Will goes to swing, but Cross stomps on his foot, and dives out of the direction, tucking and rolling Cross is a bit dazed as he returns to his feet. Washington is shaking his foot off, looking annoyed, he turns around looking at Cross.}
Will Washington: “What is this? Is this the Cross I asked for?”
Xavier Cross: “Just fight damn it.”
Will Washington: “This isn’t the man I asked for, what would Cari say looking at the pathetic attempt you’re making.”
{Cross’s fist clench as he steps up, Will finally grins but it isn’t on there long time he gets to wear it as Cross comes down with a devastating sweep kick, it doesn’t knock Will off his feet, but the impact echoes, Will goes to clutch it, Cross switches legs and kicks the other side with the same impact, Will stumbles back. Cross immediately pushes will backwards into the turnbuckle, Will hits it with an impact bouncing out, Cross gets low looking to pick Will up, but comes up with a rising European Uppercut, hitting Will right under the chin, flooring him.}
Dave Holland: “Was that the B/S/T combo?”
Eric Hardy: “It’s called the B/S/T Finale I’m hearing, a variation on his combo that he came up with for tonight apparently.”
Willy Carter: “Whatever it is, it may have knocked Washington out.”
{Cross looks around, waving his fans making sure the fans are on their feet. Cross runs to the corner, leaping onto the top turnbuckle. He stands, soaking it all in one last time. He takes to the air, looking for a shooting star press, but Will has Cross scouted rolling towards the turnbuckle as Cross eats the mat. Will pushes himself back to his feet, as Cross is clutching his stomach rolling left and right in the ring. Will immediately goes over, picking Xavier up, pushing him into the corner chest first. Cross comes out stepping backwards clutching his chest. Will runs against the ropes, getting some momentum, hitting a sideways, Corner Code Breaking, nearly breaking Xavier in half. The impact itself catapults Xavier back to his feet and into the corner, hanging on with his arms.}
Dave Holland: “Is Xavier Cross broken in half!?!”
{Will immediately points upwards, as he makes his way towards Cross, getting low pushing him up onto the middle rope of the turnbuckle. Ducking his head under, lifting Xavier up he aims to hit Joker Driver. Putting on a show, Will marches around the ring with Xavier up in the air before finally driving him head first to the mat below. Will immediately hooks the leg.}
1…2…
Eric Hardy: “Another near fall, Will is putting the pressure on Xavier tonight.”
{Cross kicks out, Will shakes his head, standing back to his feet, sending a hard kick to the ribs of Xavier. Cross holds his ribs, as Will is trying to play mind games, slapping Xavier’s face. Cross rolls over onto his stomach, trying to get into a form of guarding. Will shakes his head, sending another kick to Xavier, but Cross grabs his leg immediately, leaping to his feet, he sweets Will down, face first, before locking in an Ankle Lock. Cross is applying pressure, each time Will lets out any kind of agony, Xavier screams trying to break Will’s ankle. Will slams his head against the mat, using his upper body strength Will is pushing himself up, veins starting to pop out. Turning his hips, Will manages to swerve, breaking the hold and sending Cross into the ropes. Will is clutching his ankle, sitting down for a brief second, but Cross isn’t letting up, charging forward hitting a Shining Wizard.}
Dave Holland: “No way…this back and forth, one of these men is going to get hurt tonight.”
Eric Hardy: “Immortals never die! HA!”
{Cross looks down at the Will, before exiting to the ring apron, looking for a springboard. He waves his arm up and down.}
Xavier Cross: “Get up Will! GET UP!”
{Will manages to shake off the impact, staggering to his feet, once he’s up, turning around. Cross leaps into the air, looking for his signature, Redemption Driver, but Will is prepared, not allowing Cross to get the distance to perform it. Instead using the falling momentum to hitting his own signature, Stunned Silence. The impact of the leaping stunner, shakes the ropes, as Will pops back to his feet, pounding his chest.}
Eric Hardy: “Washington is fired up!”
Dave Holland: “What a wonderful counter, using Cross’s momentum against him.”
Willy Carter: “These two know each other’s playbook like the back of each other’s hand.”
{Will stands there, waving his hand up and down; Cross begins to stir, holding his head. His knees are shaking, Will charges forward aiming for the The Coup d’Etat. But Cross manages to duck, Will follows through, bouncing through the ropes, Cross turns around as Will manages to hit the The Coup d’Etat turning Cross inside out with the impact. Will looks almost concerned for a moment as he drops to his knees laying across Xavier for the pin.}
1…2…
Dave Holland: “Another close one, how is Xavier’s head still attached to his shoulders.”
Eric Hardy: “The end has to be near, Cross could be hurt right now..”
{Cross manages to put his leg up on the rope, breaking the pin. Will shakes his head looking frustrated. Grabbing Xavier by the head, he slings him back into the corner, charging forward for a splash, but Cross stumbles to the side as Will eats nothing but turnbuckle, his head bouncing off the post, as Washington manages to leap a little higher than expected. Holding his forward, we see a small trickle of blood run between his fingers, Xavier turns his back to Will who staggers out. Xavier flips and hits a devastating Pele kick.}
Eric Hardy: “PELE KICK! PELE!”
Dave Holland: “More importantly, Washington is busted open!”
{The impact echoes through the arena, as Will is laid out, the impact of the kick opening up the small cut a little more. Xavier quickly gets down and hooks the leg for a pin.}
1…2.
Dave Holland: “Xavier with his first pin attempt tonight!”
{Will throws his shoulder up, but Xavier isn’t letting off the gas now. Sending a hard right kick to the ribs of Washington, before helping his friend back to his feet. Xavier sends a knife chop to the chest of Will Washington, before following it up with a spinning back elbow, hitting it’s mark, Will’s head snaps back, but the Patriotic Paragon sends a counter left, Cross ducks and locks in an STO, slamming Will to the mat, Cross pops back up walking around, looking down at Washington, a smile back on Cross’s face, as he grabs Will’s legs and locks in his signature submission, The End Game inverted cloverleaf.}
Eric Hardy: “End Game is locked in, could this be it?!”
{Cross manages to turn it over, as Will slams his fist into the mat. The blood starting to drip down his face a little more. Cross keeps applying pressure to the hold, as Will puts his head down trying to pull the submission towards the ropes. Will struggles, managing to drag himself towards the rope, a few feet away he reaches out. But Xavier steps forward, pulling the hold back to the center of the ring, before sitting back, putting even more pressure in the hold. Washington yells out in pain, slamming his fist onto the mat, using his knuckles to push himself up. Putting himself in more pain, but it’s forcing Cross to hold the submission tighter. Washington is trying to break the grip, the blood is now pouring off his face. The fans are going insane at this point.}
Will Carter: “NO WAY! Washington may break it, listen to this packed crowd.”
“WASHINGTON! WASHINGTON! WASHINGTON!”
{Will is feeding off their emotions, and the gravity of the moment pushes himself higher, using whatever strength he has left to break the hold, causing Xavier to flip forward onto the mat. Will collapses in a fit of exhaustion. Xavier is laying on his back, starring up at the ceiling, both men are motionless, and tired. The ref checks for a brief moment before going for the count…}
Eric Hardy: “They may be knocked out. Good lord.”
Dave Holland: “Leave it all on the table.”
Willy Carter: “Last show ever Brent, can’t hold anything back…”
1….
2….
3….
4….
Washington stirs, holding his bleeding head. Xavier is still flat out on the mat.
Dave Holland: “That cut could be worse than we know?”
Eric Hardy: “Will may win this match right here…”
5….
6…
{Washington is to his knee, standing up, Xavier opens an eye before kipping up to his feet. The fans go insane again. Cross aims a Superkick, but Will manages to catch his foot midair, spinning his opponent around, Washington pushes Cross from behind right into the corner. Hitting his own Superkick to the back of Xavier’s head, nailing the Cambridge Calling flooring Xavier Cross. Cross tries to stand up, rolling over to his back holding the back of his head. Washington looks up at the corner, ascending to the top. He stands there for a moment, holding his hands up allowing the fans to soak in the intensity before launching himself with the Guerrero Splash, the impact rattles the ring, as Will hooks to the leg.}
1…
2…
Dave Holland: “What just happened?!”
Eric Hardy: “These men are countering each other, hitting ridiculous moves. This is a grand finale for these two men!”
Willy Carter: “I love you guys!”
{Xavier Cross kicks out, Washington is stunned. Washington is on his knees, shaking his head. Both men are exhausted at this point. Cross rolls over, getting on his knees also. The two men look at each other, as Xavier manages to start laughing. A little broken, a little bruised the two men start exchanging rights and lefts from their knees. Will gets up, Cross follows the two men, in the center of the ring meeting each other blow for blow. Will blocks one of Cross’s punches, before gaining the advantage, nearing cleaning Xavier’s clock. Will immediately hits a double leg takedown, going to lock the Enhanced Interrogation Tactics. But Xavier out of desperation, uses the momentum Will had trying to pull Xavier’s arm into the hold, to leap forward to avoid getting put in the submission. Cross stumbles a bit into the ring ropes trying to stand up.}
Dave Holland: “No one has broken that hold, Xavier knew that coming in.”
Eric Hardy: “Cross must have been scouting that move more than anything.”
Willy Carter: “If Will would have hit that, game over man, game over.”
{Will gets back to his feet, bloodied, looking at Xavier, Xavier pulls himself up using the ropes. The two men meet in the center once more, Cross doesn’t lock up, he sends a hard kick to the midsection of Will Washington, before swinging his arms, turning him around and hits a quick Crossifixion. Xavier looks a little stunned he pulled it off, before rolling Washington over, and hooking the leg.}
1…
2…
Dave Holland: “Another close pin, Cross hitting his signature out of no where.”
Eric Hardy: “What will it take to put Washington away?’
Willy Carter: “What will it take to put Cross away?”
{Washington kicks out, running on autopilot now. Xavier stands up, looking in disbelief. The two men stagger to their feet, sending a left and right at each other in desperation at this point. The two get back to their feet, still exchanging blows. Cross gets the advantage, pushing him back a bit, Washington plants his foot, coming forward hitting the The Coup d’Etat. Flooring Cross, Will staggers forward into the ropes barely able to stand now. Xavier is laying there as Will is standing there, realizing that this is the end. His face looks a bit grim, almost sad. Cross begins stirring. As he tries to get to his feet, struggling more and more the fans are back on their feet.}
Dave Holland: “Out of no where!”
Eric Hardy: “This has to be it…”
Willy Carter: “Look at Cross! LOOK!”
{Cross is crying, standing on his feet, his knees shaking a little heavier, his fists are balled up. He’s still got some fight left in him.}
“XAVIER CROSS! XAVIER CROSS! XAVIER CROSS!”
Washington: “C’mon Cross! One…more…time…”
{Cross holds his arm up, his fist still clenched. Will meets him, the two bump fists one last time. Cross comes up, hitting a feeble European uppercut. Looking up at the bloodied face of Will Washington.}
Cross: “I love you man…”
{Cross pushes Will backwards into the ropes, before Will finally rebounds off it, and hits a perfect The Coup d’Etat. Cross gets turned inside out, one last time, as Will hits his knees, almost in disbelief, covering Xavier for the pin.}
1…2…3
{The bells rings as the fans erupt}
“N-C-W! N-C-W! N-C-W!”
{The ref goes to hold Washington’s arm up, but the Patriotic Paragon drops to his knees, helping Xavier sit up. The two men sit there, exchanging words for a moment, the tears are rolling off Xavier’s face as Washington helps Cross to his feet. The two stand there for a moment, sharing the crowd’s love. Xavier lift’s Will’s arm into the air as the fans go nuts one last time for the two men.}
“WASHINGTON! CROSS! WASHINGTON! CROSS!”
{Almost split down the middle, Van Halen’s ‘Dreams’ blares over the P.A., as Will looks at Xavier, a little confused, Cross starts laughing as he slides out of the ring, pointing at Washington.}
Xavier Cross: “Enjoy it! I’ll get you next time.”
{Washington stands there for a moment, wiping the blood and sweat off his face. Xavier is going to make his way up the ramp. Stopping for a moment, shaking his head before he hops on the security barricade, making his way through the crowd, as Washington stands there, a couple of salty tears rolling down his face. The fans give a standing ovation, Xavier Cross now a part of them.}
“THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!”
Dave Holland: What an amazing moment for both of these men... we’ll be right back fans to crown the last ever NCW Tag Team champions.
Eric Hardy: Should be an amazing match, but before that I hear we’re going backstage.

SEGMENT
Roxi Johnson
”My Night is Complete”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Simon Daye returns to locker room after getting some catering. He noticed a small note shoved into his locker room door.}
Simon Daye: What the heck is this?
{Simon grabs the paper and unfolds it and begins reading. His eyes widen.}
Simon Daye: Oh no, they've kidnapped the Ugh!
{Without warning Simon is struck in the back of the head. He falls the floor holding his head in pain. Standing over him: Roxi Johnson.}
Simon Daye: What the heck was that all about?
{Roxi smirks and cracks her knuckles. Into the room walks Ricky Johnson.}
Ricky Johnson: Wow, you really wanted to punch him in the back of the head didn't you?
Roxi Johnson: Yup. Now, we can go. My night is complete.
{Roxi smiles and walks out of the locker room, leaving Simon even more confused. He opens the note back up.}
Simon Daye: Ha! Jokes on you. There's An "A" in Presidant!
{Fade on Simon clutching the back of his head. A video of the upcoming Tag Team match is played.}
Eric Hardy: This is it ladies and gentlemen, the final NCW World Tag Team Championship match.
Dave Holland: The build up to this match has been very interesting to say the least. First Rob Diamond makes his return to NCW, something most of us never thought would happen.
Willy Carter: Followed by that scum sucker breaking up Simon and Zelda.
Eric Hardy: It wasn't his fault.
Willy Carter: Whatever.
Dave Holland: Regardless of who's fault it was, it ignited a war between Rob and Simon which of course drug their mutual partners into it. Gib, the father of Zelda, has stood by his long time partner's side while Steve Awesome has come to Rob's aid more than once.
Eric Hardy: And last week on the final Collision, Simon laid down the challenge.
Willy Carter: To destroy that home wrecking loser.
Eric Hardy: Now here we are, Team America defending their Tag Team Titles against InFamous!
{ The opening to This is gonna Hurt blares across the pa as Rob Diamond struts out onto the ramp, the crowd pretty much goes nuts for him as he smirks and looks from side to side as the song's lyrics rock your socks off. }
"REGRETS I'VE GOT MINE............!"
{ All of a sudden "Full of Regrets" comes bursting out of the speakers like a shotgun as Steve Awesome steps out onto the stage. He turns backwards and shows off his vest with a big Steve Awesome graphic on it. Then he peaks his head back and smirks into the camera as pyros blast off on the stage on opposite sides. }
Eric Hardy: And there they are, INFAMOUS!
{ Steve drops down on one knee, Rob stands behind him and the two begin firing off crotch chops as pyro explodes behind them. The two stand up as the fans go wild and head to the ring, ready for war. The get in the ring and each take a ring corner and hold up the crossed arms as the crowd cheers them even more. They hop down and wait for Team America. }
Dave Holland: Rob and Steve have been friends a long time but this is the first time they have ever gone after the tag team titles.
Eric Hardy: Surprisingly enough. But they have an uphill battle because Team America has been working together like a cohesive unit for the last year, last week was the first time Rob and Steve have teamed together in a year.
Dave Holland: For once in their lives InFamous are the under dogs but it's sure be a good fight.
Willy Carter: Who cares about them, the champs are about to make their entrance?
{ The song "I Wanna Rock" starts to play from behind the curtain comes Gib and Simon Daye, pumping his their fists to the music, Gib's bicep flexing and relaxing to the music. He runs half way down the aisle before stopping to slap the hands of his fans, while Simon walks slowly behind him glaring at Rob Diamond. Gib switches sides running around the entire outside of the ring before sliding under the ropes and climbing the turnbuckle, posturing for the crowd. Simon Daye slides in under the ropes and just keeps his eyes locked on Rob Diamond. The music stops and the champions hand over their belts for possibly the last time. }
Dave Holland: You can feel the animosity in the ring right now.
Eric Hardy: No love lost between any of these men. Gib and Steve had their history and Rob and Simon have theirs. This match is going be at the very least interesting if not down right insane.
Dave Holland: I have a hard time imagining someone not getting seriously hurt during the course of this match.
{ Looks like Simon and Rob want to start things off as the crowd starts to get real into it now. Simon grins at Rob as the ref calls for the bell. Rob starts to walk toward Simon as Simon hops from side to side before turning and tagging Gib into the ring. }
Dave Holland: It looked like Simon was going to start things off for us but it turned out to just be a tease.
Willy Carter: The worst kind but he's just playing mind games with Rob right now.
{ Rob shakes his head as Gib steps into the ring. Gib reaches out for a test of strength. Rob shrugs and locks up with Gib. Gib quickly over powers Rob and turns him into Team America's corner and presses against him, crushing Rob against the turn buckles. Simon begins to hit Rob over the shoulder as the ref yells to cut it out. Gib lets go and Rob turns to hit Simon but Daye moves and Gib clubs Rob over the back. Gib under hooks Rob and sends him flying out of the corner with a full nelson slam. }
Eric Hardy: Team America with the early double team and Simon continuing his mind games.
Dave Holland: Simon has come a long way since the last time he and Rob crossed paths over a year ago, I think Rob may have under estimated him here.
{ Gib drops a big boot on Rob's chest and then steps over him, putting all his weight down on that rib cage. Rob rolls to the side and tries to stand but Daye smacks him in the back of the head. Rob turns and Gib steam rolls him with a mighty clothes line. Simon laughs on the apron as Gib peels Rob off the mat and sends him hard into the turn buckles of Team America's corner. Gib grips Rob by the back of the head and slams him down onto the mat. Simon begs for the tag. Simon tags in and stomps Rob about a dozen times before tagging Gib back into the ring. }
Dave Holland: Daye is just taunting Rob now.
Eric Hardy: Rob needs to start getting some offense in or this will be a short lived last match for him in NCW.
Willy Carter: I'm telling you guys Team America will end their careers as Champions and Simon will have his revenge.
{ Gib doesn't look terribly pleased with Simon's game plan here as he gets back into the ring. Rob is up and working his way toward Steve but Gib runs into him from behind with a shoulder block. He pulls Rob up off the mat and tosses him into another corner away from Steve. Gib charges in with a big time splash and as Rob staggers out of the corner, Gib levels him with a big boot that sends Rob back flipping over the ropes and to the outside. }
Eric Hardy: This match just entered no man's land.
{ The ref stops Gib from going after Rob but Daye takes full advantage and runs down the apron and drives a flying knee into the side of Rob's head. Daye pulls Rob up and bashes his face into the ring post then sends him back first into the guard rail. Steve comes running around the ring and Simon backs off as the ref yells at Steve to get back to his corner. Gib slides out and hoists Rob up over his head in gorilla press position and sends him flying over the ropes and back into the ring. Gib climbs in after Rob. Rob pulls himself up by the ropes and turns right into the RIGHT HAND!!! }
Dave Holland: Oh! I heard the crack from here.
Willy Carter: It sounded sexy.
{ Rob, almost instinctively rolls back out of the ring where Steve jumps down to check on him. The ref tells Rob to get back inside as Daye begins to slowly walk around the ring. Gib goes to step out and Steve yells at him to back off. The ref begins to argue with Gib as Daye comes running up behind Steve and crashes into him with a forearm to the back of the head. Steve falls forward and Daye begins to stomp on Rob again. The ref turns just as Daye rolls Rob back into the ring. Steve goes to attack but the ref jump out and stops him as Gib covers Rob. }
Eric Hardy: Gib is going for the pin here after that big right hand and those vicious stomps from Simon Daye.
Dave Holland: It could be all over for Infamous already after the beating Rob has taken.
Willy Carter: Best case scenario right here.
{ The ref finally gets Steve back into his corner and rolls into the ring to count. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }
Eric Hardy: Too much time passed in between.
{ Gib pulls Rob up and hoists him onto his shoulder. Simon yells for the Harpoon. Gib turns and charges toward Team America's corner and sends Rob flying face first into the waiting boot of Simon Daye! Rob crashes against it and slumps down in the corner. Simon begs Gib for the tag. Gib shakes his head and tags Simon in. }
Dave Holland: Time for Daye to add insult to injury here.
Eric Hardy: Things are about to get ugly here.
Dave Holland: Which is exactly what Simon Daye wants.
{ Daye drags Rob to his feet and begins mouthing off to him in the corner. Rob slumps against the ropes as Daye begins to open hand slap Rob once, twice, three times before he just rears back and punches Rob right in the mouth. Rob's head begins to trickle with blood from either the Harpoon or the vicious right hands. }
Eric Hardy: Rob is busted open here.
Willy Carter: The more blood the better.
{ Simon grins from ear to ear as he pulls Rob up to his feet and yells in his face "PAYBACK'S A BIT-" but before he can finish Rob snaps back to life with a DIAMOND CUTTER!!!!! }
Eric Hardy: DIAMOND CUTTER!!!!
Willy Carter: NOOOO!!!!
Dave Holland: You cannot take your eyes off of Rob for that exact reason. He can strike anywhere at anytime.
{ Rob is laid out, beat up, just tired, Simon is stunned for the moment. Rob slowly rolls over onto his gut and begins the long crawl toward Steve Awesome. }
Eric Hardy: Rob absolutely has to make the tag right here. He needs to get out of the ring and get some air.
{ Simon is moving again. Simon is just about to his feet as he sees Rob only inches away from Steve Awesome. Simon sprints toward Rob who pushes himself up just high enough to slap Steve's hand. Steve sling shots into the ring with a shoulder block on Simon Daye! THE CROWD GOES WILD! }
Dave Holland: STEVE WITH THE HOT TAG!
{ Simon is up and Steve clothes lines him back to the mat, then levels him with a right and a left, Daye gets up a forth time and Steve hits a big side walk slam on Simon Daye. Daye tries to get back to his feet but Steve hits a big scoop slam, heads to the ropes and hits a flying elbow drop! Steve covers! ONE! TWO! Gib breaks it up. }
Eric Hardy: Steve came into this thing like a ball of fire.
Dave Holland: He's been dying to get into the ring.
Willy Carter: Yeah and once Gib is in there he'll be dying to get out.
{ Simon is trying to cling to life as he gets back to his feet and Steve lays in with some rights and lefts. Simon falls back into the ropes and Steve levels him with the Jaw Breaker Super Kick! Simon rolls out and onto the apron. He leans against the ropes. Steve grabs him with the SteveVD and then sends Simon flying back into the ring with EJECTED! }
Dave Holland: Wow, Steve hasn't exactly been at his best the last few weeks since returning but this is definitely the Steve Awesome of old.
{ Simon is slow to his feet as Steve comes up from behind with the BRAIN SCRAMBLER! Daye is laid out and Steve quickly covers again. ONE! TWO! Gib breaks it up again. Steve gets to his feet and pushes Gib hard. Gib tells him to bring it and Steve just smirks. Daye comes up from behind and rolls Steve up. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Daye gets to his feet and hits the Good Daye spinning back fist on Awesome before turning and slapping Gib's hand. }
Eric Hardy: Here we go, history is about to repeat itself.
Dave Holland: A bloody history.
{ Gib and Steve stand toe to toe in the center of the ring. Gib rears back, Steve ducks the punch and begins to lay in some body shots on Gib. Gib clubs Steve over the back and drops him to a knee. Gib hits Steve hard over the back, Steve pushes up off the mat and hits a Mortal Kombat like upper cut on Gib. Steve hits the ropes and comes at Gib with a flying forearm smash. Gib staggers and comes right back at Steve with a sick clothes line that sends Steve flipping backward. Steve is right up, Gib grabs him around the waist and lifts him off the mat with a bear hug. He squeezes and shakes Steve before sending Steve whipping into Team America's corner. Simon grabs Steve as Gib runs in with a big boot to the face! }
Willy Carter: Gotta love the double team action of Team America.
Dave Holland: Unless you're Steve Awesome.
Willy Carter: Who cares about him?
Dave Holland: The whole crowd?
{ Steve slumps out of the corner and Gib rears back with another big Right Hand but Steve again manages to duck the move and connects with a Jaw Breaker Super Kick on Gib and Gib falls into Team America's corner. Steve is ready to try the SteveKO but just as he grabs Gib, Daye tags himself in. Daye comes flying into the ring with some rights and lefts on Steve Awesome and drives him back across the ring. Daye hits the Good DDT on Awesome and as Steve gets to his feet Daye hits a clothes line. Steve staggers and Daye connects with the Good Drop Kick! }
Eric Hardy: Simon Daye is looking pretty impressive in there right now with two time former world champion Steve Awesome.
Dave Holland: He's holding his own at the moment, Steve has been really off his game lately. He was looking fantastic only moments ago and now Simon seems to be firmly in control.
{ Daye brings Steve to his feet but Steve breaks loose from his grip and sends Daye flying into the corner. Steve runs in with a flying knee to the face in the corner and he whips Simon across the ring into Rob's corner. Steve runs in and body splashes Simon as he tags Rob at the same time! }
Eric Hardy: It's about to get real violent in here.
{ Rob leaps over the ropes as Daye staggers out of the Infamous corner but Rob clubs him from behind. Daye turns with the back fist but Rob ducks it and nails his own fist full of democracy! Daye drops to a knee, Rob hits the ropes and drop kicks Daye in the face. Rob stands up, pulls Daye to his feet and sends him into the corner. Steve grabs Daye as Rob runs in with a corner drop kick. Diamond is up, he hooks Daye's legs up onto the ropes. Rob steps back, lines up the shot and SHATTERED DREAMS! }
Dave Holland: Man, that looks so painful.
Willy Carter: Trying to ruin my boys chances of carrying on his legacy.
{ Rob covers Daye in the corner. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Rob shrugs it off and pulls Daye up. He whips Simon into the ropes, Daye rebounds into a BIG BOOT! Rob looks around then hits the ropes and drops the ATOMIC LEG DROP!!!!! Rob covers. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Rob rolls back to his feet and pulls Daye up. Daye goes for a right hand but Rob blocks it and head butts Simon right in the face and spins him around into the DOMINICUS DRIVER! Rob goes to cover again but Gib spins Rob around on his heels and RIGHT HAND! }
Eric Hardy: And all of Rob's momentum has been brought to a dead stop!
{ Steve flies into the ring and all hell breaks loose as Steve and Gib go toe to toe. Rob and Simon are both up exchanging shots in the center of the ring. The four of them are going crazy, the crowd is losing it and the ref has no control over this match. }
Dave Holland: Everything is breaking down right now as these four men are going to war.
{ Inside the ring Daye hits the Daye Break on Rob but the ref is too distracted to pin. Steve nails the SteveKO on Gib some FREAKING how! Steve and Simon turn toward each other and begin to lay into each other. The ref tries to break them up but Simon and Steve send the ref flying and he goes tumbling through the ropes and falls outside the ring. }
Eric Hardy: There goes the ref.
Willy Carter: Yup and things are about to get real.
Dave Holland: Which means it's about to get real bloody in here.
{ Daye and Awesome don't even pay attention to the ref bump as they go right back to beating on each other. Daye starts to get the upper hand so Steve ducks a right hand and gets under Daye with an atomic drop. Steve bounces off the ropes and comes back with a big clothes line. Steve heads to the corner and climbs up to the top. He's looking for Wrath of the Dragon but DAYE GETS HIS BOOT UP! Steve crashes jaw first onto the boot heel of Simon Daye and falls back against the ropes. Daye gets to his feet and pulls Steve up into the DAYE BREAK! Daye looks around for Rob Diamond, the legal man. }
Dave Holland: Simon is the only man standing right now.
Eric Hardy: He's got to find Rob, the legal man for his team.
{ Diamond comes out of nowhere and drops Simon with a low blow. Diamond jumps up and nails the DIAMOND CUTTER! Rob looks around as the crowd is going crazy but the ref is still down on the outside of the ring. Rob turns and walks right into the RIGHT HAND! Gib pulls Rob up and sends him into the corner for his second Homeless Harpoon of the night! }
Dave Holland: And now Diamond is down!
Willy Carter: Comeoncomeoncomeon!!!
{ Gib picks up Daye and drops him on top of Rob. Gib looks to the outside where the ref is just starting to come to. He walks over and pulls the ref up by his shirt and over the ropes and places him down next to Rob and Simon. The ref is still out of it as he raises his hand. ONE! Gib is fist pumping. }
Eric Hardy: Is this how it ends for Infamous and Team America?
Dave Holland: Looks like it.
{ TWO! Gib has the crowd in an uproar as the ref is just out of it. He raises his arm up when Steve Awesome comes from out of no where with the JAW BREAKER! Gib falls backward out of the ring and Steve JUST barely stops the ref from counting to three. }
Dave Holland: STEVE AWESOME WITH THE SAVE!
Eric Hardy: I've gotta admit my heart is racing, I thought Team America had this match won.
Dave Holland: It looked like it for a second.
Willy Carter: They were robbed, Simon clearly had Rob pinned for longer than three seconds.
{ Steve pulls Simon off of Rob and tries to get his partner to come back to life. Simon pulls himself up on the ropes. Steve turns and Simon back body drops Steve over the ropes. Rob starts to get up and Simon drives a running knee into the face of Rob Diamond! Simon pulls Rob up to his feet and nails the GOOD DDT! Simon hits the ropes and comes back with a GOOD Drop kick on rob as he sits up. Simon covers Rob again. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Simon looks frustrated as he looks over to Gib who is back up on the apron. Simon tags Gib back in. }
Eric Hardy: Rob is in a bad way here.
Dave Holland: He needs to get out of the ring.
{ Steve climbs back up onto the apron as Gib pulls Rob up by the hair. Rob tries to slap Gib's arms away but Gib chops him right on top of the head and Rob drops to a knee. Gib knees Rob right in the face. Rob lays out on the mat as Gib walks over to him and pulls him up again. Rob snaps back to life and clocks Gib in the face, he hits the ropes and shoulder blocks Gib in the knee. Gib drops to one knee and Rob hits the ropes again for a running drop kick to the face. Diamond pushes himself up and leaps across the ring to tag in Steve Awesome. Gib is up and clocks Steve with a right hand and another and another but Awesome just keeps getting back to his feet! }
Dave Holland: A lot of history right here.
Eric Hardy: Extremely violent history.
{ Steve comes at him again but Gib hoists Steve up for the BUSTER! Steve does not get right up this time, instead Gib peels him off the mat, sends him into the ropes and drives his head into Steve's gut with the BATTERING RAM! Steve is down and so is Gib. }
Willy Carter: This is it, Team America is about to cement their place in history as the all time best!
{ Gib is slow to his feet. Steve is just barely getting up as Gib comes up from behind with the Homeless Hook! Steve is trying desperately to get the hell away but Gib just keeps him in place. Finally Steve gets his foot on the ropes and the ref tries to break the hold. Gib tosses Steve aside like a rag doll. The ref yells at him but Gib shrugs it off and walks across the ring to grab Steve Awesome again. }
Eric Hardy: Awesome is hurting.
Dave Holland: A big guy like Gib knows how to put the hurt on. Trust me. Personally I'm glad it's him and not me.
{ Gib gets Awesome in position for METAL HEALTH! He nails it and Steve Awesome is completely laid out. Gib hooks the leg. ONE! TWO! Rob breaks up the pin.}
Willy Carter: Oh come on, that was clearly three.
Eric Hardy: Rob isn't ready to throw in the towel for his team.
Dave Holland: Maybe not but neither is Gib or Simon.
{ The ref pulls Rob back as Gib looks to Simon. Gib makes the tag and Simon jumps into the ring. He pulls Steve up and sends him hard into the corner. Simon runs in with a big shoulder block to the gut. Simon slams Steve into the corner and then German suplexes him out of it and bridges into a pin. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Simon shrugs it off and begins to stomp on Steve hard before preparing to lock in the Daye Walker. }
Eric Hardy: Simon has the Daye Walker locked in tight but Steve is pretty close to the ropes.
{ Simon drags Steve away from the ropes and wrenches that ankle. Rob jumps into the ring but the ref stops him as Simon drops down and wraps his legs around Steve's to make sure Steve can't get away. The ref pushes Rob back into his corner but Rob slips free and slides on his knees into Simon with a clothes line. The two of them start brawling on the mat as the ref tries to get things back under control. }
Dave Holland: All hell continues to break loose here tonight.
{ Simon pushes Rob back and tags in Gib and Team hit their double team move, APOLLO! Rob is laid out. Gib looks to Steve who is rolling out and onto the apron. Steve stands up and Gib goes to grab him but Steve grabs Gib by the head and jumps off the apron, choking Gib across the top rope. Gib rebounds off the ropes and falls to the mat. Steve climbs up to the top and flies off with WRATH OF THE DRAGON!!! }
Eric Hardy: This is it, this is the opportunity Infamous has been waiting for.
Willy Carter: Yeah, we'll see.
{ Steve gets back to the Infamous corner as Rob slowly gets to his feet. Rob turns and looks at Gib. He sees Gib crawling for the tag. Rob thinks about stopping him and then tells Simon to get the hell in there! Gib makes the tag. }
Dave Holland: Rob just let Gib tag out, he wants a piece of Simon.
Eric Hardy: I'm not sure if that was a smart move, Rob is beat up pretty bad.
Willy Carter: Good.
{ Simon charges right in on Rob and the two begin to just go all out with rights and lefts. Neither man is giving an inch. Rob begins to get the upper hand as Simon staggers. Rob hits a stiff toe kick to the mid section of Simon Daye and grabs Simon for the DIAMOND CUTTER! NO! Simon blocks it and twists Rob around and up for the DAYE BREAK! Steve charges in as does Gib just as Simon makes the cover. Gib manages to plow through Steve as the ref counts. ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }
Amber Ashe: Your winners and STILL NCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!! TEAM AMERICA!!!
Eric Hardy: Team America has done it, they've retained their titles and are now the final tag team champions in NCW.
Dave Holland: And what a war they went through to earn that right. It was back and forth the whole time but in the end one team had to win.
Willy Carter: Frankly the better team won and Simon got his revenge.
{ Gib and Simon celebrate in the middle of the ring as Rob and Steve watch from the outside. The crowd begins to fist pump with Gib as their music plays. We head to a video package for Adam and Ace. }
Dave Holland: Here we are fans... one of NCW's biggest rivalries.
Eric Hardy: These two have had so many matches it's unbelievable.
Willy Carter: What's unbelievable is how many Adam has won.
Dave Holland: Well that's the entire point here.. it's Ace's final chance to try and get this one victory he's been wanting for his whole NCW career.
Eric Hardy: Will it be The Ace or will it be "The King"... we're about to find out!
”Trade yourself in by Shinedown begins to blare and the crowd works their way into a frenzy as Adam Knite walks out with his arms up. Thy pyrotechnicas blast into the air and Adam makes his way to the ring to waith for his big match against The Ace.
The opening trumpet brings the lights of the arena down to pitch black, and as the soft piano kicks in, our attention is drawn to the twinkling yellow diamond made up itself of shimmering diamonds as it shines bright in the darkness, providing just enough illumination to make out the four Aces. As the lyrics to 'Skyfall' by Adele kick in, a s single white spotlight eliminates the circular platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us, the platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and as the chorus is reached and we see The Ace facing us with the National Championship around his waist, the lights in the arena start to flash yellow and cards begin to fall from the rafters. The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and grasping the hand of Kathleen Conway, who is carrying her husband's steel rake in one hand and the couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand. At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as the couple share a kiss. The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Kathy remains at ringside, armed. The Ace climbs the steel steps towards the ropes and steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, unhooking his title belt and climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air, the belt dangling from his right hand. The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring, removing his jacket as the song fades, the lights return to normal...
The two rivals lock up with each other, and it seems the former Three-Time National Champion has a bit of a chip upon his shoulder, as he breaks away from his usual gameplan and manages to power back the much larger Knite into the corner, Conway then backs away, and shoots that usual smirk toward Knite, who charges out of the corner and simply takes off the head of The Ace with a Lariat that makes what we see from Lex Sense look like a Lovetap, Knite doesn't follow up, as Conways shakes out the effects, as Knite kneels down and sends the Ace's smirk back at him.
Eric Hardy: Knite is giving Conway a taste of the bravado he always see out of The Ace.
Dave Holland: Well Adam Knite is in the driver's seat, as far as he is cocerned, It's Conway who has to win this match, to prove he can defeat the King of NCW.
Eric Hardy: I don't know why Conway tries so hard to beat Knite, alot of great men have never beaten Knite, such as the man who will be in our Main Event later tonight.
Conway tries to get up to his feet, as Knite extends a hand down to Conway, as if he were helpless, Conway then leaps up and nails a rising uppercut, staggering Knite, Conway irish whips Knite into the corner and charges in with a huge clothline, Knite slums down into the corner, before getting back up, but walks into a beautiful Standing Dropkick from Conway.
Willy Carter: Wow, You don't usually see that kind of Agilty from Conway, Cause you know, He is like super old.
Dave Holland: Yeah, We get it.
Conway nails a seated dropkick, before looking down at Knite and slapping his across the cheek, before Conway kicks the knee of the fallen Adam Knite, followed by another one, and another, Conway tries then for a Figure-Four Leglock, but Knite is far too powerful and shoves him off, Conway hits the turnbuckle, as Knite wobbles up, Conway comes forward into a kick to the gut, before Knite grabs him by the head and arms, before hooking the leg and lifting him over with a Fisherman Suplex, before bridging it over, One.....Two.....Conway kicks out.
Eric Hardy: Knite with that beautiful Fisherman Suplex, last year he used it to win a Fall in that epic Iron-man match he had against Trent Helms last year.
Dave Holland: But Conway isn't going to stay down, he wants this win, way too much.
Knite is the first to get to his feet, as Conway bounces up, Knite then shoves Conway into the corner,before ramming his shoulder into the stomach of The Ace, Knite powers up, The Ace and sits him on the top turnbuckle, Knite looks to hook his head for The Muscle Buster, but Conway fights it off, before Kneeing Adam right in the face, followed by another one, and one more, Knite backs up, as Conway climbs all the way to the top turnbuckle and leaps off, but is grabbed by Adam Knite for the Knites Of The Round, but Conway fights off the attempt with Elbows, Conway nails a low knee to the stomach, dubbling Knite down, as Conway hits the ropes, looking for the Fame-Acer but Knite catches him with a Gutwrench before turning it into a beautiful Sitout Powerbomb!
Willy Carter: Damn that Powerbomb came out of nowhere!
Eric Hardy: I haven't seen Adam pull that move off in quite some time.
Knite looks down at the Ace and licks his lips, before grabbing the leg of Conway, who quickly knows what is coming and kicks upward, nailing a stiff upward thrust kick to the lip of Knite, followed by another one, Knite lets go of the leg, as he checks himself, Conway gets back up and charges in, but Knite lifts him up with a huge Military Press!
Dave Holland: Wow, Knite is out to prove a point tonight!
Eric Hardy: Look at the Hangtime!
Knite continues to hold Conway up in the Millitary Press, when Conway kicks his feet, and falls before Adam, who before he can react, locks him in a Full-Nelson, before falling forward and dropping Adam with a Full-Nelson Facebuster, in which the Dallas crowd boos, as they know that as Zelda's Knite's Game Over, Conway goes for the cover, One.......Two........Norman Dafoe hand is coming down for three when Knite kicks out of The Ace's version of The Game-Over!
Eric Hardy: Adam would of been angered beyond belief if he was put away with that manuever!
The Ace stands up, as he wasn't expecting that move to put away Adam Knite, as he picks up the still groggy Knite, and hooks him for a Suplex, Knite falls down to the ground, before Ace picks him up again, hooking him for The Ace-Plant, He lifts Knite up, who comes back down, Conway tries again, when Knite grabs Conway's leg and trips him up, before stepping over and Locking in the Restless Knite, Conways begins to crawl for the ropes, when Knite pulls him back, however the extra movement allows Conway to quickly reverse the hold, before grabbing Knite's arm and pulling him down with his Arm-Trapped STF, Conway tries to lock the hands, but Knite is trying to fight it, Conway then begins to club away violently at the back of Adam's head.
Eric Hardy: This match is starting to get really vicious, as both men, are exchanging Submission holds.
Dave Holland: But neither man, has managed to fully get one locked on.
Conway continues to pound away at the back of the head of Knite, before finally being able to lock his arms, around The Face of Knite, Adam screams, as a look of Joy seems to overcome the Face of Ace, as he could be moments away from making Adam Knite submit, Knite reaches for the ropes, as Conway yanks back, putting everything into ripping the head off of Adam's neck, in his overzealousness however, Knite manages to grab Conways leg, and powers out and locks in the Restless Knite!
Willy Carter: Back and Forth it goes!
Eric Hardy: Knite escapes, and now Conway finds himself in NCW most vicious Submission Hold, the one move, up until tonight, was the only move to make Trent Helms tap out.
Conway struggles, as Knite sits down violently on the neck of Conway, pulling and yanking, Conway reaches for the ropes but they are entirely too far away, Suddenly Kathleen Conway comes rushing out from the back, and hops on the apron, distracting the Referee, Knite releases the hold, and tells her to get off the Apron, as Knite orders Dafoe to do his job, when Conway sneaks up behind Knite, out of the Referee's view and nails a Low Blow, as the Dallas Crowd boos loudly!
Dave Holland: That's The Jake Conway i've faced before in the past.
Adam clutches himself, as The Ace pops up, hooking Knite's head, before lifting him up and planting him with The Ace-Plant, dropping Knite on his face, Conway goes for the cover, as this is it! Kathleen hops off the Apron, as Dafoe turns around and sees the cover, as the crowd Boos, One......Two......Three!
Eric Hardy: Dammit, Not like This, The Ace wins.
Dave Holland: Nope, Knite kicks out!
Conway is angered, and tells Dafoe to learn how to count all the way to three, Conway then motions to his wife, as he leaves the ring, and lifts up the ring skirt and finds his Trademark Rake, as the referee doesn't see this, as Kathleen seems to be flirting with Norman Dafoe, The Ace gets back into the ring, and winds up and swings, at Knite who is getting to his feet, but Adam ducks, and the Rake, nails the Turnbuckle, as Knite rolls up The Ace, but instead of a pin, grabs the leg, and clamps on The Restless Knite, Conway tries to fight the pain, as Kathleen goes to enter the ring, when Kelly Knite runs down and pulls Kathy's feet, causing her to hit the apron, Norman Dafoe turns around, just in time to see, Jacob Conway relunctly tapping!
Dave Holland: And Four Years Later, From their last battle at A Night To Remember, It's a different night, but same result, Jacob Conway submits to the Restless Knite!
Eric Hardy: What an amazing display from these two men! It was truly another epic fight in this series of matches.
Willy Carter: No doubt about that.
Trade Yourself by Shinedown begins to play, as Knite releases the hold, and lifts his arms up in victory, as Kelly enters the ring, and gives a hug to her man, as Conway struggles to his feet, favoring his knee, as he looks disapointed at the result, Knite smiles as he kisses Kelly in the middle of the ring, as Conway goes to leave the ring, but Knite stops him, and extends his hand, in which Jacob shakes before leaving the ring, as we fade to black as we get ready for our Main Event of the evening!/font]
Eric Hardy: The moment has come, the final ever match in New Championship Wrestling for the biggest prize in the game, the NCW World Championship.
Dave Holland: Alex Jones, the 2013 Gladiator, steps foot into the ring for a date with destiny as he takes on the reigning, defending, world champion Roberto Verona, the single longest reign in company history.
Willy Carter: The best wrestler in the world against Alex Jones, there is only one conclusion.
Eric Hardy: Even in the twilight hour, you stay classy, huh Willy?
Amber Ashe: The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the NCW World Championship!
{ The crowd pop. }
Amber Ashe: Further, on the orders of Kelly Fox, if Roberto Verona should be disqualified through his own actions he will lose his NCW World Championship….
{The lights shut off as the theme song from SAW comes overt the PA, as we come to the height of the song the song it suddenly stops.
BREAK!
Blue smock nancy's "unsettling differences" blasts out as a spotlight shines on the entranceway. Alex Jones emerges wearing a black shirt with "prince of perfection" written on it.The X-title over his shoulder. He walks down to the ring and leaps onto the apron sliding across it before getting into the ring and leaping onto the second rope instigating the crowd. }
Amber Ashe: Introducing first, the challenger, he is the NCW Gladiator 2013, the Prince of Perfection, Alex Jooooooonnnnneeeeessssss!!!!!!
Eric Hardy: Alex has one dream, to silence the demons that torment him and prove to himself that he has what it takes to become the NCW World Champion at the final chance of asking.
Dave Holland: This is the last chance saloon for one of the best wrestlers in the history of NCW, he will not be satisfied, nor will he feel vindicated in that praise, if he doesn’t add the most important title to his résumé.
Willy Carter: Jones can flip like a flying monkey all he wants, this is the big leagues, he isn’t wrestling the chumps down the card anymore.
{ The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As boos being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head, the NCW World Championship wrapped around his waist, and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who heckle him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the abuse. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, raising the NCW World Championship high above his head as he awaits the beginning of the match. }
Amber Ashe: And his opponent, he is the longest reigning, defending, NCW World Champion, Roberto Veeerrrrooooonnnnnaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Eric Hardy: I’ve disagreed with his methods, I have question his motives but I cannot criticise his reign, you do not go 203 days and line up with a chance to close the company undefeated on a whim.
Willy Carter: Finally, it only took you eight months.
Dave Holland: Verona has cemented his place in history, the question is, can he achieve his final dream, to leave NCW as the undefeated champion?
{ The referee takes the belt from Roberto and hoists it into the air as the noise inside the arena begins to build to boiling point as the fans are going crazy. Alex and Roberto takes a moment to soak in the atmosphere as they look around at the fans who are desperate for this match to get under way after a star studded evening. The bell rings as both men’s focus shifts back to eachother and as they take their first few steps forward the roof blows off as Verona throws a right hook only for Alex to return fire as the pair trade lefts and rights with one another until finally Roberto gets the upperhand and Alex begins to stagger back into the corner. Verona begins to stomp him down until the referee pulls him back, but Roberto flies into a rage, incensed that the referee has interrupted his flow. }
Eric Hardy: Verona looks livid, he’s been slowed down just as he started to take the advantage.
Dave Holland: It is so frustrating when your flow is interrupted, I can sympathise with him.
Willy Carter: This official is a joke.
{ Alex recovers as Verona is ticked off, holding a hand to his lip which is bust open with a sadistic grin before he launches out of the corner, tackling Verona, before throwing his own volley of fists at the champion. Verona cover’s himself as best he can and just as Alex leans back to deliver a killer blow Verona lunge up and grabs his arm and somehow manages to drags his legs from under Alex, lifting them up around his arm as he tries to lock in an arm bar, but Jones checks the move and allows Verona to roll backwards. Roberto jumps up and charges at Alex who has had time to balance himself and runs straight into a spinning heel kick which almost snaps his head off. }
Dave Holland: What a series of moves from both men, but it is Alex who comes out on top.
Eric Hardy: That was such a vicious kick to the jaw, that must have been agonising.
Willy Carter: That is an illegal move surely?
{ Alex leaps up eager to capitalise as he hoists Verona up and drops him with a snap DDT which buys him a little time to leap up and hit a brilliant standing moonsault. Alex is clearly fired up as he rips Verona off the mat and whips him into the ropes before leaping in the air and hitting him with a corkscrew elbow as Roberto is totally defenceless despite his best effort to protect himself. The crowd are on their feet for the fine series of moves by the human highlight reel as Alex revels in their adoration before hitting a standing leg drop across Verona’s neck. }
Eric Hardy: Alex has just exploded out of nowhere here, he is giving us his all here, and I can’t say we expected any less.
Dave Holland: Roberto is just going to have to roll with the punches and pray he spots a moment to take a step back into this.
Willy Carter: Alex Jones is a charlatan, a cheat, a fraud. How dare he touch this great man.
Dave Holland: You appreciate you’ve been commentating wrestling matches for all these years and not pillow fights, right Willy?
{ Roberto tries to roll out of the ring to buy a bit of time but as he does Alex shakes his head, hits the opposite ropes and as Verona turns he spots a flying Alex jones who launches through the ropes before hitting Roberto and knocking him straight into the railings before leaping back to his feet and slapping the hands of a few fans who try to touch both men. Verona barely knows where he is as Alex picks him up and whips him as hard as possible sending him flying right into one of the steel steps as he flips over and hits the mat on the other side hard. Roberto tries to crawl away as best he can in his disorientated state but before he can defend himself Alex charges, leaps onto the steps for leverage and comes flying at the champion with a big leaping clothesline which puts Verona down for a longer spell this time. }
Dave Holland: Verona is in serious danger of losing control of this match tonight, Alex is just inspirational right now.
Willy Carter: He is a cheat.
Eric Hardy: Alex is rolling back the years and making a big claim for being the final ever NCW World Champion.
{ Alex pumps the crowd up before lifting Verona back up, rolling him into the ring, turning him over so his head hangs over the apron before driving a vicious elbow into his throat, not once, not twice, but three times! Roberto really is in a sticky corner here as he rolls into the ring in agony, swiftly followed by Alex who is clearly in his element in such a boisterous atmosphere. Roberto uses the ropes as well as he can to lift himself up and as he does so he spots Alex charging at him and quite wisely he drops down to the mat and yanks the top rope with him which sends Alex barrelling out of the ring, hitting the mat awkwardly. Verona lays on his back and tries to catch a breath as Alex clutches his knee in pain, the momentum suddenly halted. }
Eric Hardy: Invaluable piece of innovation from the champion, he was sinking without a trace here but now Alex is hurt and he can regroup.
Dave Holland: You do not go so long as the champion without being resourceful, Verona needed to get back into this and now he has his chance to get in the ascendency.
Willy Carter: Time for the upstart to get his comeuppance, it is going to be glorious.
{ Roberto shakes off the cobwebs as he sits up, slowly getting to his feet and opting to simply wait Alex out, hoping for a potential count out. 1……..
2……
Alex lifts himself up using the railings, fans slapping him on the back.
3…….
4…….
5……
He limps as best he can towards the ring.
6……
7…….
Using the ropes Alex pulls himself up onto the apron to close out the count but as he does so Verona hits one set of ropes before coming right back to plant a big knee to the face of Jones which sends him crashing back to the mat, striking the apron hard on the way with a sickening crunch. Jones is laid out on the mat and doesn’t look in very good shape. }
Eric Hardy: Ruthlessly efficient yet incredibly simplistic, Verona knows how to dismantle a foe with the minutest effort.
Willy Carter: Alex should just stay down, he’s not taken too bad a beating, just spare yourself man.
Dave Holland: Alex won’t stay down, Verona will have to kill him, he is so driven. Speaking to him earlier and seeing his early momentum makes me believe that he is going to need to suffer something special to put him down.
{ Instead of waiting for the count out Roberto seizes the initiative, climbing out to meet Alex, lifting him up before hitting him with a suplex which sends him down hard onto the mats, causing him to arch his back. Roberto gets up and begins to stomp on the injured knee of Jones who tris to roll away to stop the assault as he is swiftly aware of Verona’s attentions but the champ simply grabs the leg and yanks it the opposite way and sends it crashing into the railings, making Alex yelp in pain. Wasting little time Verona grabs his leg again and places it carefully on the mat before leaping in the air and dropping his knee straight into Alex’s. }
Eric Hardy: Ouch, that looked painful for Alex. He needs to buy himself some time, the pendulum has swung well into Roberto’s favour now.
Dave Holland: It was always going to happen eventually, but no doubt Alex has plenty left in him to send it barrelling the other way too.
Willy Carter: Erm, no, this is it for Alex now, no way back.
{ Roberto looks up to see the referee counting and he drags Alex back into the ring with him, ready to continue his assault. Grabbing his leg Verona drags Alex into the middle of the ring and locks in a single leg crab, wrenching on the injured knee cap, causing Alex to clench his fists. The referee asks him if he wants to submit, but Alex shakes his head and refuses to do so and realising Alex is unlikely to tap just yet Verona releases the hold, slamming Jones’ leg into the mat as he does so. Roberto then begins to stalk the prone Alex who gradually gets back to his feet as best he can and when he senses his moment his moves forward to strike but incredibly Alex jumps into the air and cracks a boot around Verona’s skull with a thunderous enziguri which almost takes his foes head off! }
Eric Hardy: Out of nowhere, perhaps in desperation, Alex pulls out a move to keep him in this!
Dave Holland: How he managed that on a bad leg is beyond me, inspiration stuff from Alex.
Willy Carter: What the hell is this crap!?
{ Verona hits the mat like a sack of bricks as the flashbulbs light up the whole arena whilst Alex tries to regroup a little, desperate to take advantage of the shift in momentum. Alex starts slapping the mat in a determined rhythm as he wills himself to his feet, just as Verona does who has just about recovered from the shock but he soon wishes he hadn’t as Alex spins with another boot, striking him in the head and sending him back down. Alex is suddenly feeling this and ignoring the enormous pain he is in as he roars to the top of his lungs. }
Dave Holland: The fire is burning in Alex Jones here!
Eric Hardy: Such spirit, he knows this is his last chance, he is desperate to take this!
Willy Carter: This is a disaster, an unmitigated disaster!
{ Roberto once again seeks the sanctuary of the mats outside the ring as Alex does his best to try and stop him but ultimately he fails. Verona staggers around towards the announce booth, which is uses to prop himself up as he tends to he injuries whilst Alex stands, hands on hips in the ring, mulling something over in his mind. Then, almost as if a spark had ignited he allows a little grin to run across his lips before eyeing up Verona, taking a few steps back as he begins to race forwards. Roberto doesn’t see him coming as he grabs the ropes, pulls himself into the air and barrelling over the top rope with a diving senton! Bulbs flash as times itself seemingly slows as Alex flies gracefully, yet with deadly intent, through the air as Roberto suddenly realises what is about happen but before he can do anything Alex connects the pair of them go crashing through the announce table which breaks upon impacts sending splinters everywhere as the two men sink into the wreckage. }
Dave Holland: Good God! Alex Jones you crazy son of a bitch!
Eric Hardy: I am glad I spotted that, are you both ok? What is this man thinking, how he can do these things beggars belief it truly does!
Willy Carter: Is this guy insane? I just paid for this suit, now there’s Coke everywhere!
{ The crowd barrel forward to get a glimpse of the pair as a familiar chant of N C DUB and HOLY **** resonates around the packed arena as neither Roberto or Alex stirs an inch whilst staff pour down to check on both men. Alex Jones has just used his body as the ultimate weapon and it paid off, but he is incapable of capitalising on his high risk manoeuvre as both men are laid flat out cold. Doctors tend to the pair who are laid in a heap of carnage, the title well in the balance. }
Eric Hardy: I know this means the world to Alex, but his health shouldn’t be traded away like a commodity in this fashion.
Dave Holland: This is where I can only disagree, this is well worth everything you have in that locker, this is the ultimate opportunity.
Willy Carter: He’s a lunatic, just wheel him off to the crazy bin so we can send this company off with some dignity.
{ After a few minutes Alex begins to stir, as does Verona, but neither are capable of standing straight away. The paramedics do their best to patch both men up before they lift themselves up as best they can, but their legs are barely able to hold either man up. They stare at one another and, haphazardly, stumble through the wreckage and begin to trade fists again but this time it is Alex who comes out on top, forcing Verona to retreat out of the remains of the table and out into the mats. Alex follows him and grabs him by the head, sending the champ crashing face first into the barricades as Jones looks to take advantage of his big sacrifice which has clearly taken a huge toll on his body despite hitting Verona. }
Eric Hardy: What heart this man has, tremendous display of grit and determination from Alex Jones, a true great.
Willy Carter: No! Look at Verona, still standing after that. A true great.
Dave Holland: Both men are great, the things they do to their bodies for this belt is extraordinary.
{ Roberto clutches his face as Alex rains downs elbows into his neck, eventually forcing him onto all fours where Alex proceeds to send kick after kick into Roberto’s ribs, almost kicking the air right out of him. Eventually the referee splits them both up and tries to get some order restored demanding Alex returns to the ring, to the dismay of the fans. Alex begrudgingly accepts and grabs Verona and drags him to the ring, rolling him in before swiftly following him to get this match back underway. Jones winces at the pain he is in before picking Roberto up and hitting him with a short arm clothesline to keep him down and offence in his favour. }
Dave Holland: Alex must be in a lot of pain, but suffering can come later, glory is within reach, he’d kick himself if he didn’t grasp it.
Eric Hardy: He’s come so far, and he sees this as the validation he needs for himself, to accomplish that one dream.
Willy Carter: I wish he would kick himself.
{ Alex plants a few kicks into Verona again to keep him ground before he drops another legdrop across his face just to make sure. Dragging his prone body Alex places Roberto where he wants him and amazingly, despite the risk, he begins to ascend the turnbuckles in preparation for another big move to try and put this one to bed. The crowd are willing him on, desperate to capture as many more memorable moments as they possibly can. Alex stands up proudly, clutching his back which has welts on it from the ridiculous dive out of the ring and as if the very will of the crowd is enough to fight through the pain he leaps high into the sky as he attempts a frog splash…. }
Eric Hardy: This man just doesn’t quit….
Dave Holland: I always respected him, now I respect him even more.
Willy Carter: Nooooooo….
{ Alex flies through the air and comes plummeting down but as he does Verona rolls out of the way at the last second as he goes face first into the mat with a terrifying thud, the crowd omitting a compassionate groan as he clutches his ribs in complete agony. }
Willy Carter: Yeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss.
Dave Holland: Ouch…you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
Eric Hardy: He is so desperate to capture the belt he feels is rightfully his, but is it worth this?
{ Both men lay in the ring, but it is clearly Alex who is worse for wear. Sensing an opportunity Roberto rolls an arm over Alex and tries for a pin, 1….2…NO! Alex gets a defiant shoulder up to close that avenue down in its infancy. Roberto accepts that he must do a little more and does best to get to his feet, opting to rain down a knee into Alex’s face followed by another and then another. Grabbing Alex his lifts the challenger up and assumes a position behind him and plants a german suplex with perfect accuracy, keeping his arms grasped tightly around him so he can hoist Alex back up for a second, repeating this process to drop him on his spine with a third in a row. }
Dave Holland: Big strength from the champion, lifting Alex up over him.
Eric Hardy: He doesn’t look done either.
Willy Carter: Snap this fool in two!
{ Roberto gets up one last time for a fourth but as he does Alex throws and elbow backwards but Roberto checks this, ducks and then lifts Alex up before dropping him with an atomic drop to keep him grounded where he wants him. Roberto gets to his feet and hops up to the second turnbuckle before leaping and dropping an elbow deep into Alex’s chest before getting up and proceeding to stomp at Alex to wear him down a little further. Sensing he may have carved an opening, Verona lifts Alex and sets him up for the Fallen Idol power bombs, flipping him up and over onto his back in a crucifix position as he marches around the ring to open up some space to get a little velocity in the move. }
Dave Holland: This could be the end of the match, Alex is in deep trouble here and he needs to do something to get out of it.
Eric Hardy: If Verona hits this we could be about to see the demise of Alex Jones.
Willy Carter: Come on Verona, drop this idiot on his head!
{ Verona takes a few steps back and he prepares to lunge forward but as he does so Alex begins to kick with his heels at his spine which causes Verona to grimace in pain and eventually relinquish his grip stumbling forward as Alex steadies his footing turns around to being to deliver some fierce chops to the chest of Verona who soon regrets turning back around to take them. Verona staggers back as Alex tries to build some momentum up and get firmly back into this one but suddenly Verona comes flying back with some chops of his own before they soon begin to exchange chop after chop, each more vicious than the last with preceeded it. }
Eric Hardy: Alex needed this, but can he capitalise or will Verona strike him back down?
Dave Holland: He is doing as much as he can and that is all you can ask for on occasions like this, the big time guys always find something from the locker.
Willy Carter: He can keep it in there…
{ Finally Verona gets the upperhand and he drives Alex back, eventually grabbing him and whipping him against the ropes before driving a knee into his gut, sending him barrelling over onto his back, forcing him to arch it. Alex gets up, slightly dazed and turn right into a boot to the gut which casues him to reel over and as he does so Verona grabs his head and prepares to leap up to plant a Requiescat In Pace but as he does Alex stands firm and grabs Verona, somehow positioning him onto his shoulder in a reverse GTS position! With a fluid motion he plants the champion with a devastating Texan Brain Surgery which almost snaps the champions head off but Alex decides that this may just not be enough. He rips Verona off the mat and with a fluid motion he strikes him down with a Time to Burn and drops across his foe for the cover. 1…..2…..3!!!!! Alex Jones has won the NCW World Championship! }
Amber Ashe: And here is your winner, and…..NEW NCW World Champion, Alex Jooooonnnneeeeesssss!!!!!
Eric Hardy: Dear God! He has done it! Alex Jones has managed to do it, he has ended the streak and crowned himself the last ever world champion in NCW history!
Dave Holland: What a phenomenal performance by Alex Jones, he has pulled off something truly amazing here tonight, he has lived a dream.
Willy Carter: I quit.
{ Alex cannot believe is, tears flood down his face with sheer joy as fireworks go off above the arena and he is given the title belt, which he stares at longingly before clutching it gratefully to his chest, lost completely in the moment. His wife Shelly hops the barricades as she joins her husband in the ring to celebrate a lifelong dream, embracing one another as his music blares out of the PA system. }
Dave Holland: What a way to close the show, what a way to close out this company!
Eric Hardy: This has been one of the greatest nights in company history, what a fitting end to the legacy of such a great institution.
Willy Carter: Amazing... look at the tears forming in Alex Jones’ eyes as he holds up the belt, he’s exhausted and after a match like this who can blame him.. he’s finally accomplished his dream.
Dave Holland: Well fans thank you for all the memories... wait... what is...
{Suddenly the crowd erupts into cheers as “Diamond Eyes” by Shinedown begins to blare on the PA System again.}
Eric Hardy: What is this!? Xavier Cross!?
{The crowd especially erupts when Cross steps out from the back holding his briefcase and holds it up into the air.}
Willy Carter: He’s got the briefcase! Can he do this!? Can he cash it in on the last show... after Alex just had the hardest match of his career!?
Eric Hardy: Apparently he can! He’s here right now and he’s got it in his hands!
Dave Holland: He said it was going to be cashed in, he told us he was going to do it and he’s ruining this moment for Alex Jones with this three year old briefcase!
{Xavier calls for his music to stop as he stands at the top of the ramp and brings out a microphone that was behind his back. He looks around at the excited fans and at Alex Jones who can barely stand in the middle of the ring looking furious.}
Xavier Cross: Well... I told everybody that I was bringing this briefcase and it was going to get cashed in and seeing as how the biggest jerkass that has ever been in NCW is standing there, i think it’s time that after three long years this briefcase is finally put to good use.
{Inside the ring a visibly exhausted Jones calls for a microphone and is thrown one. He looks furiously at Cross as he begins to speak.}
Alex Jones: You want to do this right now Cross? Then lets go, because I am walking out of here NCW champion no matter what.
{Cross begins laughing when he brings the microphone up.}
Xavier Cross: I’m sorry to disappoint you Alex, but I don’t feel like I’ve earned this shot. I said it was going to be cashed in... I didn’t say it was going to be me who was doing it. A few years ago somebody on this roster was promised a world title shot for some idiotic point scoring system... but that person never got that shot because that person was pressured into handing it away... now I think...
Dave Holland: Is he talking about....
Eric Hardy: No, he couldn’t be...
{The crowd begins to cheer.}
Xavier Cross: I think it’s time that we right that wrong... plus the way I see it we right now have two “World Champions” so I think it’s about time we had us an Unification match!
{“The Legned of Zelda” theme hits the PA System and the fans are worked up into a frenzy when it transitions to “Call to Action” by Pillar and Zelda Knite bursts out onto the ramp!}
Willy Carter: Are you kidding me!? This is ridiculous! They can’t do this!
Dave Holland: It’s happening Willy, Zelda Knite is cashing in that briefcase.
{Zelda is handed the briefcase as a livid Shelly begins screaming inside the ring and an equally as mad Alex looks confused and infuriated as well when the referee takes the title belt from his hand. Zelda and Cross kiss before Zelda sprints to the ring and slides in, handing the briefcase to the referee.}
Eric Hardy: This is surreal, this can’t be happening!
Willy Carter: I can’t believe it is... Zelda Knite is going to face Alex Jones for the final NCW Championship!
{Shelly tries to attack but the referee holds her back and forces her to leave the ring and leaves Alex to fight this on his own.}
Dave Holland: Here we go fans...for the second time... our final ever NCW Championship match!
Eric Hardy: I can’t believe this is happening... Alex Jones has just wrestled a brutal match.
Willy Carter: This is a crime, Alex Jones can barely stand up after that match with Verona!
Dave Holland: I thought you were all against Alex when he was facing Verona?
Willy Carter: He’s better than friggin Zelda Knite, who should not even effing be here right now!
{The bell rings and the crowd is on their feet, Zelda immediately sprints straight for Alex who is still insanely week from his match with Verona and blasts him with a dropkick. Alex hits the mat, slowly turns over and is getting back to his feet when Zelda charges and CHRONO TRIGGER! Alex flops back holding his face as he rolls over and looks to get back to his feet again, Zelda comes running again just as Alex is on his feet and CONTRA CODE!}
Willy Carter: NO! Come on NO! Ref stop this foolishness!
Dave Holland: Zelda has hit Alex with two huge moves... she needs to make this cover she coudl be champion!
Eric Hardy: She’s going for it, she’s hooked the leg.
{Zelda covers 1...2. but Alex throws the shoulder up!}
Willy Carter: YES!
{Zelda backs away as Alex is trying to stand back to his feet, Zelda takes him by the arm just as he’s up and whips him into the corner. She charges forward and blasts him with a running big boot. Jones’s eyes roll into the back of his head but Zelda isn’t done, she takes him by the arm again and whips him across the ring and follows it up with another kick! She backs away and watches as Jones comes staggering out of the corner and falls flat on his face before flopping over.}
Willy Carter: Stop this now! She’s had like two hours to rest since her match... Alex is out, this is a travesty!
Dave Holland: Calm down Willy, it’s not over.
Eric Hardy: There is still time for Alex... but he has to stop her attacks.
{Zelda heads towards the ropes now, she jumps up onto the top and the fans ignite as she calls for it, she leaps off and MASS EFFECT! Double foot stomp right onto the chest of Alex Jones! Zelda covers 1...2...3!... NO! The referee is waving it off!}
Dave Holland: Zelda thought she had it... that was so close!
Willy Carter: I don’t know why I was worried, Alex is taking her best shots and is still going. She’s just not strong enough for him.
Eric Hardy: Probably not, but that isn’t going to stop her.
{Alex turns over and grabs the ropes to pull himself back to his feet. Zelda is waiting for him and when Alex turns around Zelda kicks him in the stomach. She grabs Alex’s head and looks for a jumping DDT but Alex instead stands straight up and sends Zelda flipping backwards and flat on her back!}
Willy Carter: HA HA YES!
Eric Hardy: Alex still looks worn out but he’s firing back at the Gaming Princess now.
{Zelda turns over and gets back to her feet, she charges at Jones but Alex without even turning around, flips backward sand catches her right in the face with the PELE KICK!}
Dave Holland: OUCH! Vicious shot to Zelda’s head with that kick! Way to kick a girl in the face AJ.
Willy Carter: Ha ha, i don’t think she even know where she is right now after that and she wanted this Holland... it’s nobody’s fault but her own.
Eric Hardy: It’s looking like Alex might be putting an end to this dream here.
{Zelda pushes herself back to her feet, obviously in a daze when Alex readies up and AJ-GURI!}
Willy Carter: Another shot to the head!
Dave Holland: She’s out cold... look at her.
Eric Hardy: I’m afraid this is it.
{AJ slowly walks around Zelda nudging her with his foot before he smiles and grabs her, pulling her straight off the ground with one arm. Alex smiles to the crowd before he throws Zelda effortlessly up on his shoulders and makes a motion for his TEXAS BRAIN SURGERY.}
Eric Hardy: Here it comes, Texas Brain Surgery and it should put Zelda away... if she’s not already out, in which case this is just insult to injury.
Dave Holland: Well she tried, lets give her that.
Willy Carter: Great, just end it and we can all go home.
{Alex throws Zelda up in the air to put her over his shoulders and into his knee but in midair she shifts her weight and lands behind Alex who stumbles forward thinking he was going to catch her. While he’s slightly bent over Zelda grabs both of his arms, locks her leg around his and GAME OVER! Zelda grabs a leg and covers as fast as she can after Alex flips over in pain and 1...2...3.... the ref isn’t waiving it off, he’s calling for the bell! The light bulbs in the crowd begin to flash, the arena begins to roar.}
Eric Hardy: I Can’t believe it! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! ZELDA KNITE IS THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION!
Willy Cater: No this is impossible!
Dave Holland: Look at her face, she can’t believe it, she is as shocked as any of us.
{Zelda tires to stand up, her legs are weak with excitement and the referee hands her the World title, an act that sends her stumbling backwards into the nearest corner where she is holding the belt in both hands with wide eyes staring at it and tears forming in her eyes in total disbelief.}
Dave Holland: Look how happy that little girl is...
Willy Carter: Look how happy she is of robbing a grown man of his world title!
Eric Hardy: The Knites for the final time in NCW history have found a way to screw one of the Joneses! It’s amazing, we have a Unified World Champion!
Dave Holland: The first and last.
{Zelda holds the belt to her chest and starts to fall to her knees when the ring is rushed by Adam, Gib, Kelly, Xander, Crystal Hilton and finally Xavier Cross. Zelda hugs her brother Adam as he’s the first one to meet her there but soon there is nothing but a huge almost dogpile as she can barely stand from everybody piling next to her to congratulate her.}
Eric Hardy: This is what NCW was all about... the thrill of that titlte.. the pursuit of that championship.
Dave Holland: This is a great moment, I may not agree with how it was done, but the look in their faces... It warms a heart.
{Zelda turns to Cross and gives him a giant hug and a loud “Thank you” before they kiss. Everybody else gives her a big hug. Gib and Adam take her up and put her on their shoulders where Kelly hands her the Starlets title as well. Zelda puts the Starlets belt on her shoulder and then she lifts the World title into the air as her music is still blaring throughout the arena. The fans begin to chant NCW as they know what is coming next.}
Dave Holland: Well... I don’t know how to say this, but that’s all we have for you fans. It’s been an amazing run.
Willy Carter: One to never forget.
Eric Hardy: For the final time... thank you for watching NCW... THANK YOU NCW!
{The commentary crew, the ringside workers, everybody in the back begins to head towards the ring and ringside area as Zelda’s music begins to die down. Even past NCW Stars who hadn’t appeared until now make their way out to bask in the final moments of NCW. The crowd is roaring their heads off and screaming NCW at the top of their lungs as for the final time NCW fades to black.}
