The scene opens up inside of a hallway in the back of the Crossroads arena. Joe Everyman and Maria Williams are standing by with Carly Robins. Carly sees the camera on and quickly begins.
Carly Robins: Hello nCw Nation, Carly Robins here with Joe Everyman and Maria Williams. Joe will be in a tag team match this Sunday at Crossroads, teaming with Shaun Wilson, the X-Division Champion, taking on Ricky Johnson and Sexy Jason, the Xtreme Champion, with the winners gaining a shot at the other's championship. Joe, how much does this match mean to you?
Joe Everyman: Well, to be put into this match means alot to me. I'm teaming with and facing some of the best 'Soon-to-be' main eventers our company has to offer. I just think it is great I've finally being recognized for my talents. Not to sound egotistical, but I do deserve this. My past month here has been hectic to say the least. It's been filled with odd twists and turns, but I came out of it alive. First, I had to face and defeat Mark Evil, which was great at the time. I think that finally put our rivalry to rest. And then I faced the Brothers Holland with Vertigo, and he betrayed me, so we lost. Then the next week, I hit my high point of the year so far, beating Milo Holland, one on one. But, then I was forced to tag up with Mark Evil to face the Hollands again, and we lost. Two tag team matches, two loses, and I get put into this match. I guess someone in the upper offices has some faith in me.
Carly Robins: How do you feel about tagging up with Shaun Wilson.
Joe Everyman: Well, Shaun is a hell of a guy and a hell of a wrestler. I know, I had to face him in the first round of the X-Division tournament. He put up a hell of a fight, but I got the best of him. But, look at him now. First one eliminated in the whole tournament, and he is now the current X-Division champion. That is saying something if you ask me. Not only that, but he had to beat Trent Helms to win the title. Trent is a helluva wrestler too, and one of the top guys in the group we are in now. Even though me and Shaun have had two meetings before, we are still friends and we can put Ricky and Jason in their places. He won't let me down.
Carly Robins: What about your opponents, Ricky Johnson and Sexy Jason?
Joe Everyman: Well, this match put me in a weird spot. I've faced Sexy Jason in a Four Way Elimination Match before, and he put up a hell of a fight. Shaun Wilson was also in that match. We've fought eachother, and we know eachother's styles pretty well...but I have no idea what to expect of Ricky Johnson. All I know is that Maria talked to Roxi once...but that was it. We've never really talked, and I haven't really paid much attention to his matches, which may be bad. But, it could also be good. It'll be a fresh start, and hopefully a swift end for his X-Division title hopes, all in one match. I don't hate Ricky or anything like that, but, because he is my opponent, he has to go down. Sexy Jason is the same way. I don't have any beef with him either. He is a helluva wrestler too, and will put up a great fight. No hatred will help me, just the will to win. It's been a long time since I've had a match like that.
Carly Robins: Which match do you like better? One for a grudge or one for a reason?
Joe Everyman: Well, for me, it depends on the person I've facing. In matches aganist Mark Evil, I would face him to just beat him. There could be a title or a number one contendership on the match, but I would never think about that. Same goes for any match aganist a Kane of any name and the Hollands. When I'm in a match versus a Kane, I just let the rage take over. I don't think about anything besides beating them. But, with matches aganist people I usually never face, like the one I'm in now, I just let the pride and skill take over. I don't think about bloodying them, I just think about beating them, for a reason. For a win, or for something more like this match. But, I seem to do better in title matches, but usually only singles ones, because I can't control my partner's actions. But, for the sake of this match, I think I'll do fine. Because my partner wants me to win as much as I want me to win, it will boost our teamwork alot. If we win, Shaun won't have to defend aganist Ricky Johnson next month, which will be good for him.
Carly Robins: Agreed. Well, Joe and Shaun will be in a fight of their lives this Sunday aganist the tough team of Ricky Johnson and Sexy Jason. Thanks for your time Joe.
