-=It's been a few days since Davey Boone's funeral, and the Punisher, with the help from a few old friends, is finally snapping out of the daze he has been living in since he heard the news of Boone's death. He is on the treadmill in the hotel gym, running, making sure his endurance level is as high as it will need to be this Sunday at MindGames as he and Adam Knite team up against the Holland Brothers for the World Tag Team Championships. His ipod strapped to his arm, music blaring in his ears as he pushes himself physically during his last workout before the Pay Per View. Always one to leave himself a day off before a big show, the Punisher feels like pushing his body to the limit this Friday afternoon. As he sprints on the treadmill, "VooDoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix echoes in his ears. He slows to a jog, and then a walk. He stops, breathing heavily from the extreme exercise. He starts laughing as he flashes back in his mind to the first time he heard that song 9 years earlier.=-
-=Punisher=- Hey, what song is this?
-=Eric Hardy=- That's VooDoo Child, by Jimi Hendrix.
-=Punisher=- Are they just playing it, or is that someone's entrance music?
-=Eric Hardy=- That's Davey Boone's entrance theme.
-=Punisher=- Davey who?
-=Eric Hardy=- Davey Boone, he is a new guy, but super talented in the ring and on the mic.
-=Punisher=- That scrawny guy with the big mouth?
-=Eric Hardy=- Yeah, that's the one!
-=Punisher=- Who is he wrestling tonight?
-=Eric Hardy=- I think it's Chris Cruise or something like that.
-=Punisher=- The one that calls himself "Big Daddy"? That's a good one.
-=Eric Hardy=- For real. Hey, let's go up to the catwalk and watch their match.
-=Punisher=- Sure, let's go!
-=The Punisher remembers going up the catwalk with Eric Hardy and watching these kids go at it. He remembers the absolute amazement he had in watching Boone against a much bigger opponent. He also remember's thinking that Chris Cruise could have been huge in this industry had he not had his head up his ass most of the time. The Punisher walks over to the leg press machine and sets his weight and begins doing reps as his ipod plays on. As he sits, resting, between sets, he starts to smile as "Viva Las Vegas" by Elvis plays. He thinks back to the time that Davey, Eric, and himself were headed to a Pay Per View show in Los Angeles and decided to stop in Vegas on the way. Just as they were pulling into town, Davey started howling from the back seat=_
-=Davey Boone=- VIVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LAS VEGAS!! VIVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LAS VEGAS!!!
-=Eric Hardy=- (laughing in an Elvis Voice) Thank ya, Thank ya very much.
-=Punisher=- (lip snarled up like Elvis) I say-ah, say-ah, your a fantastic audience!
-=They all laugh out loud as they look forward to the night they are about to have in SIN CITY! The pull up to the world famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and take turns taking pictures of each other with the sign and laughing. The Punisher lets out a laugh as he thinks about what a great time they had together. It was a heck of a lot of fun and he couldn't imagine having more fun with anyone else than Davey. The Punisher grabs his towel and heads to his room to take a shower and clean up. He is supposed to be meeting Adam later to talk strategy.=-
-=The Punisher, dressed in black jeans, motorcycle boots, Punisher logo t-shirt, and his signature leather jacket, picks up the phone to call Adam about their meeting. He gets Adam's voice mail and leaves a message. He pours himself a drink and hangs out a minute, waiting for Adam to call back, but the call never comes. The Punisher heads out to a local resturaunt where Adam is supposed to meet him. He gets seated and has a few drinks and snacks on some chips and salsa while waiting. He picks his cellphone up again and calls Adam's friend Willy Carter. Willy answer's the phone=-
-=Punisher=- Willy, this is Punisher, hey man, have you seen Adam?
-=Willy Carter=- Yeah Punisher, we're here in the cemetary.
-=Punisher=- Man, I was worried about him. I haven't heard from him in a while. We were supposed to meet up a couple of hours ago. Hell, I thought he might have gotten hurt or something.
-=The Punisher listens as Willy talks to Adam at the cemetary=-
-=Willy Carter=- Yo Adam, Punisher says he was worried about you, something about you were supposed to meet him two hours ago. After what happened to Davey, he thought something bad might have happened.
-=Adam Knite=- Alright, just tell him I had some things I needed to think about.
-=Willy Carter=- (Talking to Punisher again) Yeah he says he's sorry, just had some things on his mind. Alright, I'll tell him, later Punman.
-=The Punisher hangs up the phone and goes ahead and orders his ceremonial steak dinner. It has been his tradition since the very beginning to have a steak dinner before a pay per view match. As he finishes up his dinner, he is just about to leave when he runs into Chad Lites coming into the resturaunt=-
-=Chad=- Hey Punisher, what's going on man?
-=Punisher=- Just heading back to the hotel to get some rest.
-=Chad=- I was gonna grab some dinner, you wanna join me?
-=Punisher=- I just ate, Chad. Thanks for the offer though, man.
-=Chad=- Hey man, no problem. So how are you holding up this week?
-=Punisher=- Well, it hasn't been easy, but we all have to move on. Davey would have wanted it that way.
-=Chad=- Yeah, I suppose he would have. Hey, do you think you could do a quick interview with me about your matchup this weekend?
-=Punisher=- I thought Seth was on your schedule.
-=Chad=- Yeah, I did that earlier today. I just got in town not too long ago.
-=Punisher=- Where do you wanna do this?
-=Chad=- How about right here at the bar?
-=Punisher=- What? No camera? Man, my stock sure has fallen these days.
-=Chad=- It's not like that, man. I am writing a big piece in Wrestling Illustrated online this week, and it has to be in by midnight tonight.
-=Punisher=- Ok, let's do it!
-=Chad and the Punisher sit in a booth across from one another in the bar of the resturaunt. Chad pulls out a digital recorder and starts the interview=-
-=Chad=- I am here with the legendary Punisher. This weekend you are teaming with Adam Knite, another legend in the sport, against the Tag Team Champions, The Brothers Holland. Can you give me your thoughts ojn the match?
-=Punisher=- Well, Chad, this weekend is going to be a homecoming of sorts.
-=Chad=- What do you mean?
-=Punisher=- One of the greatest things about this sport is that anyone can be beaten on any given day. I know most of you people have written older superstars like myself and Adam off, and that's fine with us. Because if you don't expect anything, you are putting yourself into a bad position.
-=Chad=- What position is that?
-=Punisher=- The position of having your ass handed to you by one of the all-time greats in this business. Adam and I deserve the respect that wrestlers with our track record have earned. The only thing I have seen from anyone here in nCw is a lot of disrespect. The Hollands probably don't even see us as a real threat, and good for them. Because it just puts Adam and myself in one hell of a position to snatch the gold from around their waists.
-=Chad=- Well, put. Being such long-time friends with the late Davey Boone, how has this week been on you mentally?
-=Punisher=- I won't lie, Chad, it's been very difficult. Ten years of running up and down the road together, rooming together, eating together, vacationing together, hanging out with each others families can't be forgotten. I mean I was there when his kids were born. I was there when he got married, and I was there at his funeral. It's the circle of life, not to sound too disney on you.
-=Chad=- (laughing) Not at all, I completely understand. As you know, I interview Davey's nephew Seth Drabble earlier today. It is rumored that he will look to you for guidence in the absence of his uncle.
-=Punisher=- Hold it right there, Chad. I have only met the kid a couple of times. I know Davey saw something special in him, and there very well may be something special in him, but since when did it become my place to help him along out there on the road? Chuck Watson is a great manager and will do everything to make sure he is taken care of. I got my own fish to fry here, and I don't have the time to deal with his situation.
-=Chad=- Got it. Is there anything else you want me to get in about your match this weekend?
-=Punisher=- Yeah, I got something else to say. I hope the Hollands don't think that Adam and I will be distracted by our close friend's death. Because nothing could be farther from the truth. Davey's death has only solidified our decision to team together and take the nCw by storm. It was Davey's idea that Adam and I team together. He brought us together for one last ride, and we feel obligated to see it through to the end. And we mean to. By the time the dust settles in the ring Sunday night, the Hollands, well...they will have felt the Bite! And they will.....REAP THE WHIRLWIND!
-=Chad tops the tape and shakes the Punisher's hand as he gets up from the table. He thanks Chad for the interview and leaves the resturaunt and heads back to his hotel on his rented Harley. He decides to just go out and ride and let the wind blow through his hair and just refresh his mind before he goes back to the hotel. He gets out on the highway and just opens the bike up. The scene fades to black as the Punisher quickly goes out of site with nothing but his Harley's tail-lights in the picture.....=-
-=Punisher=- Hey, what song is this?
