~*~*~Three days and counting until Armageddon. That may seem a bit extreme, but one would have to be lying to themselves to not see the triple threat match for the world title as anything but. Three men with three distinct personalities will clash and only one of them will be able to walk away as the nCw Heavyweight Champion. Spike Kane is the spiraling champion, Jack Manson is the man with absolutely nothing to lose, and Lance Ryan is out to abolish the world of both of these types of people. A lot has been said in recent weeks about Lance Ryan and his motives heading into a World Title Match. Lance is indeed a member of the Age of the Revolution, yet he appears to be going to war for a title that quite honestly is the epitamy of everything that he seems to stand against. Spike Kane has questioned Lance’s motives, mentioning that he believes that Lance is using AotR and in turn Spike’s twin brother, Reckless Jack. Jack Manson has mentioned in the past that he believes that Lance is clinging on by strings so that he can have one last run in the spotlight. Also a sentiment that seems to go against what lance stands for. Will Lance respond to these accusations or will he simply let them flow like water under a bridge? It is an unlikely scenario when people would question a wrestler for wanting to claim the world title, but this is indeed an abnormal situation, one in which a wrestler claims that the world is wrong to be all about things that they want and need, and yet he wants to hold the World Title. Words are being thrown around, labels are being made, and perhaps most of all, this Sunday it will be fists that will be thrown to end this war between three men who have gotten to this match by roads that have intertwined and interlocked from the very beginning.~*~*~
~*~*~The scene opens and we see that the scene is a simple cemetery. The scene pans out and we see the familiar frame of Lance Ryan walking alone. Lance is dressed in a black hoodie and he has his head hung low. The hood is pulled up over his face as he walks, and we hear the crunch of snow underneath his feet. Lance stops beside a large oak tree and he sits down, his head still hung low. He bends his knees up and is sitting with his arms sprawled out over his legs. He looks deep into the camera now and has the evil stare that we have come to know and associate with this new incarnation of Lance Ryan. Lance pulls out a piece of paper from within his pocket, and unfolds it.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: “We here at nCw are shamed of what the Age of the Revolution has been saying and doing since their appearance on live nCw broadcasts. We would like to inform all of our sponsors and fans that their comments are not sanctioned or scripted in any way shape or form by the owners of nCw.”
This is utter bull**** being pulled by Leonard Fox and his band of suits once again. He is disgusted by the fact that Reckless Jack and myself are not only having success, but also starting to have followers. We do not fit into his cookie cutter image of what champions should be. The straight faced good guys that the fans love. We are not even close to marketable in that way, and thus he is trying to do everything within his power to make us look foolish. He cant understand why the people are so willing to accept a few men that are aiming for change in the wrestling business, and in the world around them. Well, Leonard Fox, to you I say, **** you. Plain and simple, come the end of my match on Sunday, I will be the World Champion in nCw and I will also be heading into a tag team match for the tag team titles after RJ lays waste to Awesome.
~*~*~Lance rips up the statement from nCw’s head offices.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: You know, it’s really just another sign that people are unwilling to take us seriously, and willing to try absolutely everything to hold us down. nCw is afraid to have me as their flag bearer, and I truly believe that come Sunday night, Good ol’ Mr. Fox will do everything in his power to make sure that his golden boy Spike Kane will remain as the World Champion. Our revolution has been making statements since the beginning, and we will run the table once again at Sovereign. I could give a damn less if Spike Kane is a broken down man, or if he is going to try and make a statement on Sunday, the bottom line is that Spike Kane is not the best man in nCw, nor is he to be champion for much longer. The tables have turned completely on you Spike, everything has come completely full circle. The last time that we faced off it was my life that was spiraling out of control, and you were the man that was behind that, and the man that was on the rise. You took advantage of that, and to that I honestly give you credit. However, my family didn’t die on me. Spike, have you ever realized that everyone that you get close to either dies or tries to distance themselves from you? You lost your son, you have now lost your love, and your own brothers don’t even want to be seen in public with you. You are a disgrace.
I saw your comments towards me and Manson, I saw that arrogance just begging to ooze out of you, but you are still a fake, a fraud and a lost soul. You are a subdued and watered down version of your real self. You were claiming that you have lost friends since you won the world title, but the real truth is that people are afraid to get close to you. Spike Kane is a sick and sadistic man that would turn on family, friends, lovers and strangers if that is what it would take to get ahead in life. Spike, you need to come to a hard realization, and that is that you are not the man that you once were. You have been broken down by the events of the past two months, life is catching up to you man, and there are only two ways to go when that happens. The first is to succumb to it and basically throw in the towel, the other is to persevere. I see you giving up. You seem to have once again lost control of all of your emotions, and you are losing control of everything that you hold dear. Spike Kane is no longer the best man in nCw, and you will realize that when I take my title back from around your waist.
~*~*~Lance pulls his hood back to reveal that he has dyed his hair black. The hair falls loose as he pulls out a ponytail and his black hair hangs down in front of his eyes, making him look even more the part of the loose cannon that he has become of late.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: I am so sick and tired of people thinking that they understand me. The first thing that you have tried is to say that I am, washed up, when that failed, you now fall back on saying that I am using Reckless Jack and the Age of the Revolution for my own gains. You could not possibly be farther from the truth. Spike, look at me and reckless Jack, the two of you may be the spitting image of each other, twins, born of the same womb, from the same mother, but again I beg of you, where is that family now? Brad and myself are closer to brothers than the two of you have ever been, or will ever be. The two of us basically share a beating heart, a passion for our cause, and we have the same set of goals and ideas for the world around us. What do you have Spike Kane? Nothing….
~*~*~Off in the distance we can hear someone calling out for Lance. He climbs to his feet and stretches out his legs and waves at someone. From off scene we see Lance’s brother, Matthew. Matthew approaches with caution, it is the first time that we have seen him in ages, and the first time that lance has acknowledged his existence in possibly even longer. Lance extends his hand to Matt, and Matt reluctantly shakes Lance’s hand.~*~*~[/i]
Matthew: I came as soon as I could. It sounded urgent, you said that there has been a death…what happened?
Lance: Nola has passed away. I have come to pay my respects, and I have to say that I was most disturbed by this. Spike Kane has again lost a loved one, and I don’t know how he is coping, but it is truly a sad day when a man loses a woman that he loves. Much like the way that it hurts a man when he loses his son. I know, I have been there mere months ago.
Matthew: Thank God. I was afraid that we had lost someone.
Lance: We have. Nola was a lost soul, someone that lead a troubled life, someone that struggled through life in ways that cannot be comprehended, someone that grasped onto Spike Kane like a beacon of light. She had so much potential, potential for our cause, the cause of the Revolution. Nola was jaded as a small child, became an orphan, and then was lost forever. It is a sad say when a young one is lost to us like this. Just like when Cassandra was lost to me.
Matthew: No offense, I know that it was my opinions that got me into trouble in the first place, but I hardly think that losing Cassandra in the way that you did can even come close to comparing to the way that Spike has lost Nola.
Lance: That is where you are wrong brother. There are so many ways that people can be lost, death may be more…permanent, but it is a loss just like when a loved one stabs your heart leaving you wounded for the rest of your life. We need to pay respects to a young lady that was led astray and that fell victim to the darkness that is around Spike Kane.
~*~*~Lance walks off and Matthew slowly follows, clearly not a fan of the fact that Lance is on this hallowed ground so soon after Spike’s loss. Lance approaches a headstone that bears the name of Nola Jones. He drops down to his knees and hangs his head.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: Nola Jones…I don’t know what can be said about you that has not been said before. You had such a pure soul, you perhaps got the reasoning behind Brad and I and our revolution. You had such a painful history, and even had such a painful present. People don’t care enough for people like you in our day and age. It is truly a shame. People turn a blind eye to the suffering, they could care less about those around them, as long as they have everything that they want and everything that they are told to need. Nola, I know that we didn’t get to know each other very well, and to me that is a great shame. I should have gone to longer lengths to try and help you. Unlike Spike, I loved who you could have been, and did not simply let you be who you were. Spike is to concerned with himself and that is unfortunate because now, because of him, the world has lost another precious flower.
Matthew: Come on Lance, this is enough. You do realize that the family of Nola, including Spike cannot possibly not be that far from here at this point…this is wrong…
~*~*~Lance ignores his brother completely now as he continues on.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: In this, I see a very real and close to home example of what is going on in the world around us. Every day there is someone suffering, someone sending out the warning signs, someone that is deciding that their life is over, we can all relate. However, we choose to ignore these warnings all too often. How many times do people ignore someone else’s problems so that they can share their own ills? When someone is suffering we always offer the same clichés in response. We tell them that it all gets better, that we will pray for them, and that they are in our thoughts. Do we offer any real help or advise? No. We don’t have time to help another human being, we would rather rush home to our ready made families, our gaming consoles and our favorite television shows. In the case of Spike Kane he was too absorbed with being number one to realize the struggles that his number one was going through. Nora, I truly am sorry that you had to go out this way…sorry that Spike neglected you so that you felt unloved and un-necessary once again. I am sorry that Spike Kane became just like the man that he hated, your father, in the end. They say that you often fall in love with someone like your parent, and it would appear that you did sadly, you fell for a man that was willing to use you to satisfy his needs, and neglect you when you were calling out for help…with your father you ended up in an orphanage, and with Spike, you ended up at your demise. Nola Kane, you will truly be missed by everyone that had a chance to see your light and your potential. Father, please forgive her…she knew not how to cope with what he had done to her…
~*~*~Lance rises to his feet and looks up to the heavens. He turns around and see that his brother had left the gravesite. Clearly disgusted by the words of the older Ryan. Lance shrugs and starts to walk away but pauses and looks into the camera.~*~*~[/i]
Lance: Spike Kane…a name that I synonymous with many things. Success, World Titles, Arrogance, Conceit…and death….
Spike, first it was Zell, then Brad and Christian left you…now it is Nola…where does it end? Do you not see the effect that you have on other human beings? You drive people away from you, contact with you drives people to run away or die…you are like a communicable disease Spike Kane…people are drawn in to try and help you, and then they are infected by you and the disease sucks out all of their potential, all of their goals…all of their light…Spike, you say that Reckless Jack, Xavier Williams and myself are outcasts, but why is that? We are outcasts because we are fighting for a world that doesn’t exist anymore. We fight against the capitalism, the wars and the disgusting state of society…if being like us is truly being an outcast…I would prefer to be a bearer of light like we are, then to be a black hole of death like you…Spike, it’s just a matter of time now…you have been the death of Zell, you have been the death of Nola…you have destroyed the Kane family….and now you will lose your title…when will you realize that you are better off dead then poisoning this world around you…Nothing Saves Spike…and when it comes to you…EVERYTHING DIES…
~*~*~Lance walks back to the grave of Nola Kane and lays a rose at the grave. He kisses the gravestone and says a few simple words “I will avenge your death Nola” and then the scene fades to black.~*~*~[/i]
No Main event has possibly been made,
That was so predetermined from the very start.
Three men whose paths have crossed,
They have fought together, and wrestled apart.
Three men whoe names are synonymous with nCw,
Lance Ryan, Jack Manson, and the champion Spike Kane.
Many things can be said about each wrestler,
One is a hall of famer, one is champion, one may be certifiably insane.
In a match that could be epic,
Only two things are for sure….
One man will leave as champion,
And the wrestling will be far from pure.
