I don't even know what you want me to say Falcon. Truly I am honored. You have shown me something that no one else ever has. You have come into this match, this feud even with a measure of respect some would deem me unworthy of. You have come strait forward and told me the truth. I shall do the same for you, mostly because it's all I have left to say. I do respect you Falcon. For all the same reasons I hate you. As far as your time in the Social Enemies, it was my stable that Maniac took over when I left. He brought you in, but he did it at my request. I think you may have known that. I told him to bring you in because I saw what you could do in SWW. I knew that if the Social Enemies were going to be a threat we would need someone like you. Someone who would literally put their life on the line to win a match. The Enemies needed you. It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. While you helped bring the Social Enemies to a higher glory in PWW, you also became the one rival I always wanted. So of course one of us has to be the villain. We can't both be fan favorites, though it was never un common to get cheered when fighting Ethanol... For either of us. But for us to feud, for us to have the match these fans wanted to see, I had to make you hate me. I had to become the one thing you thought I could not... It didn't work. You see through my bull****. That is why my promos have been strait forward with you, just returning the favor.
( We open now to that same dreary scene of a building. We are now very close to it. Screams can be heard, many, many screams. Lights and shadows are seen in the windows. And somewhere in the distance an alarm is going off. Whatever this place is, it breeds evil. Angel is just off camera. )
Angel: Falcon.... I'm going to give you what you want, the truth. What these fans think does in fact matter to me. These fans make or break you. If I came back, joined NCW, and they didn't cheer or boo me, then I probably would have been fired, or just wrestled at house shows. It doesn't really matter how talented you are, you need these people to care about you. So yes, I care what they think. I want them to hate me. I've come to find out that the more someone doesn't like you, the more you listen to what they say. I'm sure you remember hanging on to every word of Tyrant's lengthy promos. Not because what he said mattered, but because you hated him so much that you wanted to kill him. I remember the look in your eyes very well. Now all my cards have been turned over. No more tricks, or lies. I've told you what you wanted to hear, right? Of course you said we were like a mirror reflection of each other... That's what I've been saying too. Only I don't think you understand how alike we are. I do not need to explain it, it would be boring. Instead I want you to take a good long look at this building.
( Angel finally steps forward into the view of the camera. He starts walking towards the building, and opens a door. We go inside. It's dark, wet. The screams are even louder in here. Lights are flickering on and off. Angel begins to walk down a corridor. And then around a corner. We come to an elevator, the only clean thing in here so far. Angel pushes the button. )
Angel: What is the importance of this place? Why do I keep showing it to you Falcon? Is it important to you, or to our match? Maybe. I keep showing it because this is a mental institution. This is where I spent some time after the collapse of PWW. When I thought Legion was still with in me, I was brought here. For a year Falcon. One full year.
( The door has since opened and we get inside. Angel hits another button, floor 5. )
Angel: While you were off resting, or training. I was in a cage, in a strait jacket. I was sedated. I was told I was crazy. I was told that no one was coming for me. I was told to either get better, or stay here forever. There was no treatment for me. Doctors can't cure Demons. I tried to cure the demon. Nothing worked. It was only my dear Shelly who saved me. She was my savior. Not you, Maniac, Ed, or Talon... None of you came to help me. None of you told the doctors I wasn't crazy.
( Angel is out of the elevator and we are walking down a hall way. )
Angel: Any one of you could have come forward and told the doctors I was possessed, you could have, you did not. Do I hold it against you? No. The reason I say all of this is DO NOT TELL ME WE ARE FRIENDS!
( Suddenly the hospital goes silent. )
Angel: I don't care what the excuse is. You didn't know, Ed never told you. Would you have come? No. We are not friends. Rivals, Enemies, even Allies sometimes. Never friends. Do not mistake my respect for you as friendship Falcon. It is the last mistake you could ever make. I don't hold it against. Truly I don't. I wouldn't have come to see you either. The idea that in your head, somewhere, you believe that I like you. No Falcon. I don't like you. I respect what you are, what you've done. But you don't know what it's like to be trapped in here. Behind one of these doors, someone else you know, and probably call your friend is here. I'm sure you didn't know that either. It's ok. He's coming to NCW. And it's going to be just like old times. If the old times were full of brutal beating's unlike anything you could imagine. Falcon... Have pleasant dreams... May God have Mercy on your Soul...
( Angel stops at a door. He looks in through the small viewing hole. A small smile spreads across his face as he opens the door. The camera tries to peer in, but all we can see is a dark shadow standing in the corner... Fade... )
