I absolutely can not wait for this movie. The trailer on I am Legend really sold me on this movie. i of course got chills because of the style of Joker that the late Heath Ledger is playing, but all in all I expect this to be the best batman ever.
the sad thing is that this movie would have done really well to begin with but now it is going to be just like a car crash. Everyone is going to have to go and see it. I am calling the fact that this movie is going to shatter all kinds of box office records.

It won't kill Titanic, despite how badly I wish it would.
The second teaser trailer is what sold me....
The transformation of Harvey Dent into Two Face who is played by Aaron (I swear I'm not Thomas Jane) Eckheart.

I can't wait either.
I've been a Batman freak since I was a kid. First I liked the cartoony Batman but as I grew so did my taste the in the more serious Batman stuff. So far, I really like where this new Batman movie franchise is headed.

Yeah, hopefully Joel Scumaher or whatever his name is, doesn't get anywhere near this franchise.

Yeah, hopefully Joel Scumaher or whatever his name is, doesn't get anywhere near this franchise. I swear to God that if I see another film that even resembles Batman Forever or Batman and Robin, I'm going to start slitting throats. Batman and Robin is definetly in the discussion of the worst superhero movie ever.

Batman FOrever wasnt THAT bad... Jim Carrey made a pretty good riddler and Two-Face looking like he was dipped in Pepto-Bismol didnt help... but it was good.
Cheesy... but good to watch.
Batman and Robin was gay.

"You Freeze Now" "I Put you onnnn Ice" Those are the two lines that ruined batman for me My favorite part is when Freeze freezes the entire city you see a car got out of control and crash, the driver opens the door I believe and you can see what's supposed to be an icicle on the car swaying back and forth like a piece of rubber........... Also the part where Robin busts through they wall on his motorcycle and the hole is in the shape of the Robin symbol. The movie on a whole was just cheap.

I've never seen Batman and Robin... and trust me.. I count that as a blessing. Batman Forever I enjoyed except for one thing and one thing alone.
Two-Face. While Tommy Lee Jones did an outstanding job with his performance... it shouldn't have been him playing the part. Two-face = Harvey Dent = In that franchise, Billy Dee Williams. I don't know much about the comic book stories (any of them, Batman, Superman etc).. but I know that much.
And Dark Knight.. looks amazing. I saw the trailer.. I think it was before Cloverfield. And something I notice looking back.. they weren't selling Batman... they were selling The Joker. That tells me that Heath Ledger has to have done an outstanding job.. even in the face of playing a role that Jack Nicholson went and made his own.... them're some big shoes to fill.

Interesting fact is that Billy Dee Williams was supposed to play the role and even signed a contract for the first film that said he would either get the role or be payed a "penalty fee", the studio decided pay him the penalty fee and used Tommy Lee Jones instead. But, I figure you already know that.
