This bit of nCw related media recently came across my desk from WBL Studios (whose client Dr. Pepper is our reigning X-Treme Champion).
Hello, and welcome to another edition of the "Studio Report".
The biggest story... the race to 100 wins. The Studios has been around since mid-year 2001, when the sadistic satanist Sabrina Takeshi won the GWF World Heavyweight Title. However, the Studios worked in silence, keeping strictly behind the scenes. However, in February 2006, the Studios went public. Their first contract? The suicidal Jersey Girl, the mysterious undead Ellis Davis, may she rest in peace, destroying Criss Angel in her premiere in the WCF.
Since then, wins and losses have been counted religiously for the Studios. And recently, they've celebrated their 100th victory in the wrestling world, since February 2006. That averages out to over a win a week.
The client who's won the 100th win for the Studios? Kid Midnight, a hard-drinking, hard-partying submission goddess currently wrestling in PWX. For a while, there was a race between her, Kid Trinity of the DEW, and Dr. Pepper of the nCw. But in the end, Kid Midnight's victory over Luke Blue cemented 100 wins for the Studios, who has had multiple clients holding multiple titles in multiple feds over the last couple of years.
Thank you, Kid Midnight, and all the WBL Studios clients, past and present. Here's to hitting 200!

In other Studios news...
Kid Midnight, as reported earlier, has garnered the 100th official win for the Studios, with her win over Luke Blue in PWX. She's currently undefeated and on a major roll.
Dr. Pepper is booked to defend his Xtreme Title this week, after winning a 6-man tag match involving his nemesis, The Reckoning. Good luck to him... as far as pure records go, The Doc has the best one this year. Most clients get barely a few matches in America before a federation closes, as 90% of feds close within a month. But the studios is currently in two federations that seem around for the long haul... PWX and NCW. And the Doc's 5-1-0 Record is only going to get better when he takes on TXO this week.
Kid Trinity has cashed in her contract with the DEW. After a nonsensical angle that saw her being led from an arena in handcuffs, The Studios decided to buy out her contract. "It makes no sense", WBL Studios vice-president Halbeard "Seagal" Johnson has been quoted in saying. "There's no reason she'd need to be led from the arena in handcuffs... she's a devout Christian, and an honorable woman. Whatever the angle was, it just wasn't going to work, and wasn't run by the Studios first. We bought out her contract, in order to give her a fair shot somewhere else."
Kid Trinity and her little sister Twinkle were unavailable for comment, as they were already on a plane back to Just Offense, the Hokkaido-based all-hardcore, all-women's federation.
An article on the infamous Kid Syndicate was on tap for this version of the Studio Report, but was not ready as of press time. Look for an expose on the infamous 15-girl clique from Hokkaido later this year.
That's all from the Studios. Until next time!
