So this is the rp I was working on, on Thursday. It's not finished and no point finishing it, but it was part 1 of 3...so....enjoy?
~~~~~~
This week is probably one of the biggest of my career. Bigger then when I fought Lance for the World Title? Bigger than the rematch that involved Jack Manson? Yes...because this week I stand aside my brother at last. We stand together ready to fight for what we believe in. Ready to fight the false idols of the Smokin' Aces and ready to take the tag team champions by storm. We are the brothers of the Revolution...and nothing can stand in our way now...
Spike Kane walks infront of the camera. The room we're in is completley dark, no windows, there doesn't even seem to be a door.The only light is Spike. That's right, Spike seems to be glowing and the only light in the room comes from him. He dons a baseball cap and a hoodie with the hood up. He smirks as he looks at the camera.
Spike: A Night to Remember...so fitting it's incredible. So much has transpired in my life from my not so humble childhood, to my debut in the wrestling business...warring in the tag team divisions...then my catapault to the Main Event. Now I stand here, when we all know that the Tag Team Championship match should be the Main Event at Night to Remember. Full circle as some people may see it. My career began in the hardcore division and the tag division...my long timetag partner was Insane Fan...before the time of The Ace, and way before the time of Steve Awesome. Hell, even before the time of the Hollands. I wouldn't go as far as to say I dominated the tag division....but the truth of the matter is, the only time Insane Fan and myself would lose, would be when we turned on each other. It was a hillarious state of affairs...but we were one hell of a team. Today, I stand on the same side as not just my brother, not just the saint, the leader of our revolution, but he's also my twin brother. Hard to believe how two brothers seperated as children would grow up to be in the same profession and find each other...it's not unheard of though is it? Family ties spread across the world, and family members find each other every day...but now The Ace and Steve Awesome have to face not one but two Kanes. As if going in the ring with one wasn't bad enough....it's time for the showdown. Time for the Age of the Revolution to show you exactly why Nothing Saves, and who better to make an example of then the two biggest waste of human resources in Steve Awesome and The Ace....fitting indeed.....
The scene changes to a street in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Tall trees stand high on each side of the street and the sun beams down. Illuminating the street as the trees try to block it out, failing miserabley. Kids play on the street, riding bikes up and down, throwing water bombs at each other. On the end just before a small island is a church with a large grassy area. Kids can be seen wrestling there and standing just infront of them dressed in black, with his hood up once more, is Spike Kane.
Spike: Steve Awesome thinks he's a funny man. He thinks he's really clever showing off his wealth and riches. Showing himself on television with women all over him. Don't worry though Steven. We can see right through it all. How your insecure, constant need for people to be around you, but not ordinary people...people who claim to have succeeded in life. People who are better off than the majority of this world, people who like you Steven, are pathetic. You flaunt your material possessions like they're something to be proud of, like your trying to rub it in the face of myself and Jack. Your a fool Steven. If material belongings and the like where what I craved I would have them. I'm a very successful man Steven, despite my despicable background, my disgusting upbringing. I've ran wrestling federations, I paid the spot monkeys like you their cashflow. So please spare me the lacklustre attempt at trying to show us up Steven. The lives we lead, we lead by choice at some level, at some signifacant moment in our past. You Steven, and you too Jake. You chose to live the lives of a Hollywood star, a Rockstar...in essence you chose to destroy your lives day by day. You can flaunt your fancy clothes, your spectacular parties...the only currency you two will be carrying soon is that of STD's...
Spike begins to walk down the street. The bright lights of the cars, houses and people enjoying themselves are a direct contrast to that of Spike, who walks his head hung low, hands in his pockets. He walks down the street and stops at a low wall, turning to face something acrss the street. He sits on the low wall and looks across the street at the huge structure of the orphanage. The very same orphanage that he grew up in. Tongue in cheek Spike barely controls his emotions as he looks up and cracks his neck
Spike: The hand that fate dealt us wasn't great at all. In fact it was the biggest tragedy I've come across in my life. A family living well and happily in a small cottage in sweet old Ireland. Their father, a true patriot. He ought for his country and defended what he believed in. He was called a terrorist by small minded idiots, much like the Age of Revolution may be..again, by small minded idiots. My father defended Ireland and his life was taken from him in the process...by none other than Castor Holland. Revenge seeps deep within my veins, as much as it must in Brad's. Christian is still oblivious...and Freya is tormented still to this day. Family is something The Ace has always been at heads with me with...I've destroyed so many of The Ace's relationship it's untrue, unrealistic...but fact. Now I look at The Ace, a women at his side and a daughter. Do I feel anger? A thirst to end it? No...oddly enough I do not. I've done enough by knocking all sense of reality and common sense out of that stupid womans brain. Jake might be into the kinky crap that whore delves out, but seriously from one human being to another...she needs help, of all people I should know. But the more I think about it, the more I realise you all need help. You all need to be saved from yourselves...much like my brother saved me, but it'll never happen. It'll never come because nothing saves Steven....nothing saves Jake. Your doomed to live a life of pettiness of pathetic longing for things you don't need. Steve Awesome, you may have the most “perfect abs” but how much did they cost you? How much surgery have you had to go through to look like you do? How much of your life have you thrown away with cosmetics. I don't need to know about Jake...how much drinking, gambling...unprotected sex. It's like a walking talking disease factory.
(ooc: so thats where I got to before I had my..."crisis"...so...yeah.)
