"I used to think that I was the best there is. Turns out, I'm the worst. I can't change that. So I'm gonna use it. I'm gonna use it to make 'em pay for what they did to me."

He stares at the television. Good news, for once in a long time.
--- News Anchor --- Two men tonight were brought into custody today in connection with the shooting of nCw Pro Wrestler Ricky Johnson's wife Roxi on May 2nd. the men identified as Mark Huntley, 45, and Kevin Stevens 32, both of Tampa, are now going to to trial within the next few days. At this time, both men have entered a plea of not guilty.
This announcement brings me no peace. Both of these bastards are arrogant enough to enter a not guilty plea. They did it just to anger me
He flips through channels, not wanting to hear the men's comments.
He would probably destroy the TV listening to their smug comments.
Instead, he hears another man's smug comments.
--- Justin Marsham --- Ricky Johnson is a deeply disturbed individual.
His fists ball up.
Rage building up
--- Justin Marsham --- He looks like a damn fool with that face paint.
Just when you thought he couldn't say anything more dumb than before.
--- Justin Marsham --- Ricky is sad, pathetic, and confused.
He opens his mouth again.
Justin Marsham wants to be the winner at Reborn, and that is admirable. He's trying so hard, it's evident. Saying he wants to make money, not friends, and all that stuff he heard on some DVD to make himself sounds both knowledgeable and intimidating.
He fails. At both.
He simply sounds uneducated and desperate.
I fear that Marsham again misunderstood, but it seems to be par for the course.
Plus, a healthy dose of denail as well. The record books will show you Marsham, that on May 4th, 2008 Ricky Johnson defeated Reckoning AND Justin Marsham.
Yes, you lost too.
How does that feel Justin?
Get used to it[/color]
He speaks to us,
--- Ricky --- If Justin were to listen to my interviews on him for the past two weeks, or actually watch them, he would know that I do not wear face paint outside of the ring. I don't do it to make myself look like anything. The "Crow" reference before was uninspired and un-original. My face paint is an expression of myself.
And for the record chump, I do not blame anyone on my wife's shooting, other than those responsible, namely the two men recently brought to justice, and myself. Did you not understand my pain is mainly because I couldn't do anything. That I said it was "My fault" I guess not, considering that you incorrectly said I blamed the world.
You know, you could learn a lot if you focused on things that aren't only about you.
He stands, with his cold blue eyes piecing the camera.
--- Ricky --- Marsham, you have been in nCw long enough to complete a sentence. You have come up short in a number of fights, you may have beat another rookie a few weeks ago, but I made you a non-factor before taking out Reckoning.
Jason hit it on the head, you're nothing but talk.
But I suppose this plays into your master plan?
Get Ricky all riled up by making fun of my situation?
Sound about right?
I am focused on one thing: My Wife's health. It doesn't bother me that you want to win, or that Jason, or Jack Hammond does. It speaks to where minds are. This match is my way of getting my focus off my wife, which is next to impossible. If I were you I would try to invoke my sympathy or tell me that you feel for me. Make me want to focus on my wife, take it off my game at Reborn.
But unlike any smart person, you want all the attention on you.
Fine Marsham, you got it.
At Reborn, I'm going to make it my personal mission to make sure, you get all the attention you deserve.
Sunday, there is no words.
No clever one liner or being the cleche' comedic heel anymore.
Nothing can stop the enevitable.
You've heard the expression "I'll make you famous" in wrestling before.
Imagine being the first wrestler to bleed to death in the ring. that not suit your fancy? How about, the first wrestler to become a quadriplegic after a match. These choices are the types that I am considering.
You think about that.
Call my bluff.
I dare you.

He always visits. But first..
--- Doctor Rivers --- Mr. Johnson.
--- Ricky --- How did it go?
--- Doctor Rivers --- She's OK, She lost a lot of blood from that hemorrhage the other day.
--- Ricky --- Take mine.
--- Doctor Rivers --- No, no, it's not needed. She's fine. As a matter of fact, she's awake right now.
--- Ricky --- Move.
He sees her, and she looks back at him.
Miracles never cease. She may be only able to see me, but that to me means more than anything else.
She's looking at me. the significance dwarfs anything in my life up to this point.
They embrace.
She groans.
He over-reacts, and she assures of his health.
--- Ricky --- Feeling better?
She nods in approval.
--- Ricky --- I knew you'd come through.
She smiles at bit, and feels on his hair, and gives a questioning look.
--- Ricky --- I dyed it. It seems more natural now.
She nods.
--- Ricky --- Last week, I re-entered the ring. I won my match, but it was for you. I didn't want to go back. I wanted to be with you.
She smiles again. She clutches at her stomach and questions with her eyes again.
--- Ricky --- ...
She winces, tears well up.
--- Ricky --- You saved my life. Their trial is tomorrow. I'm going.
Her eyes widen with fear.
--- Ricky --- I am a key witness. I saw them rob me of everything. I'm lucky you're still alive. I want to see them get what they deserve.
She closes her eyes and exhales. Obviously she doesn't approve.
--- Ricky--- I just love you so much.
They embrace again.
This is bigger than any award, any championship, any belt, anything I will probably ever accomplish.
He looks at her with a serious face.
--- Ricky --- They have booked me to face Three men at the next Pay-per-view. Normally, I turn to you in this situation. I was forced to go it alone for a couple of weeks. I'm sure you'll be back on your feet soon. But just know it's not soon enough. I will be with you EVERY step of the way. Believe me.
She weakly smiles. She points to a pad of paper and a pen, and he hands it to her. She scribbles a message and shows it to him
"I love you. Go get 'em."
--- Ricky --- Thank you.
He kisses her and leaves the room.

He is dressed for the trial.
Jason has been as vocal as Marsham, just simply not as direct. I harbor no ill will toward Jason, but his statement is very accurate, when the bell sounds, we will not be friends, allies, or partners. It's a business. The object of this game, just like any other, is to win. I am sure Jason wants to get back to that Xtreme championship level he was at only a few weeks ago. I am sure he will prepare as best he can, because he wants to make an impact.
I just plan on being better prepared. That's what I do.
He walks outside, and lights up.
Jack Hammond has kept a low profile as of late, so going further in depth on his pseudo-psychological head-games have lost their luster.
He gets into his car.
I suppose that everyone is highly prepared to be on a big show again. I will only offer the following:
I am slowly gaining my life back, but until it reaches the point of my own personal satisfaction, I will never be happy. And for three gentlemen, that is not a good thing.
Justin Marsham, Sexy Jason, and Jack Hammond, I hope that you are prepared. In the end, you will end up with short end of the bargain. I'm sure that you all want this win very badly, but I need it. Roxi needs it.
And I will not disappoint.
For you three, you will end up like the two men today.
With me, having your fate and lives in the palm of my hand.
Welcome to reality.
I am your Judge, jury, and executioner.
And I have already found you guilty.
