What? Are you kidding me? John's solo work, while great in the early albums (Plastic Ono Band, Imagine) falls off a ton in some of the later stuff. It gets to the point where you're listening and you're just like "Ok, now he's just trying to hard to be obscure and artsy."

And that can't be said about the beatles?...I don't care what people say "Seargent peppers..." sucked ass, Lennon proved music goes in cycles...everyone was doing out there artsy stuff, Pink Floyd, Yes, Cream all of them..Lennon came along and recorded the "plastic ono band" and "imagine" albums using simplistic works, I mean **** listen to "working class hero" it's just Lennon and a guitar....yeah his later albums got all artsy but it was cause he started listening to way to much jazz...

Ok, A. Sgt. Pepper rocked, yes, there was weird stuff on there, but there was alot of their rockin' regular stuff too.
As for Lennon, I love Lennon, I'm not saying anything against him in particular but you can't say that somone's solo career was better when you're basing it off of two albums. I'm looking at it as a whole, and as a whole it wasn't as good as the Beatles were on the whole.
But yes masked man, the Beatles do rock. They rock so hard they continued to rock into their solo careers (even Lennon).

Ringo's solo career is pretty entertaining, sure not nearly as high quality, but his music is fun to listen to, and old people love it
