*The scene opens with The Ace sat in a hotel bar, across a table from his wife, Solitaire is sat playing with a teddy in her mother's lap...*
Listen honey, with The Revolution playing dirty, he's just what we need, you saw how Nelly took advantage last week...I just can't take the chance that they might get to you and Soli, just to get at me...Falcon already attacked you once...and I let you down, I will not make the same mistake again...
Kathy: I suppose you have a point...and I would feel safer...because believe it or not, I actually miss accompanying you down to the ring...
Exactly, besides if the Revolution want to have an extra advantage in the ring like they did last week, it cannot hurt for us to have an extra set of eyes and ears at ringside...
Kathy: I suppose not...
You know it makes sense darling, besides I just got a call from him earlier...he's signed up and ready to go...it'll be great to see him again, I haven't seen him in a while...he should be on his way to meet us here right now...
*As if it was the fulfilling of The Ace's foretelling, a large, well built man entered the bar on cue and The Ace got up to greet him with a firm handshake and embrace of old friends...*
Big Kev! How long's it been?
Man: Too long old friend...
*Both men smile at each other and The Ace introduces his family as they sit down...*
This is my beautiful wife, Kathy and our daughter, Solitaire...this is Kevin Kruger...
Kathy: Nice to meet you...
Kruger: Charmed...
*Solitaire looks up briefly and offers her teddybear to the big man*
Kruger: That's alright, sweetie you keep it...
*Solitaire resumes playing with her bear*
Kathy: We'll go back to the room upstairs...I'm sure you guys want to catch up... it was nice to meet you Kevin...
*Kathy leans over and kisses her husband, and The Ace kisses his daughter on the forehead before they leave the two men...*
Kruger: Not bad, mate...not bad...but I never thought any woman would be able to reign in old Jake The Snake...
Yeah well, neither did I...but there we are...how's yours by the way?
Kruger: Good, the old wife says hello, and that she's grateful to you for getting me this gig, just like I am too...
Don't worry about it mate, how're the kids?
Kruger: Fine, fine...my son still idolizes you, and my daughter...well she still has a crush on you, she can't wait to see you again...
Kids, eh?
Kruger: Yeah...so anyway, you ready for your match this week?
As ready as a man can be for an opponent who has never beaten him...
Kruger: Technically that may be true, but I wouldn't count the guy out just yet, I mean he is the World Champ after all...
I know, I know...this will be yet another main event for both of us, I'm not counting him out, I'm just saying with his track record against me, I bet he's thanking his lucky stars that this isn't a title match...
Kruger: Perhaps...or he might just surprise you this week, I mean nobody thought he would win the big one, but he did...and nobody thought he'd beat Xavier twice in a row, but he has...so who can say what can happen this week?
Just whose side are you on anyway? But I suppose you have a point...it seems that running along a wheel isn't the only trick in the hamster's repetoire these days, and whether he believes in the power of prophecy or not, he can't ignore the clarity of the message my deck for him had...and from my perspective, I'd say that destiny has smiled on Hammond for long enough...one way or another, Jack will suffer a sudden reversal of fortune this week...and I will get him...mark my words...
Kruger: Reminds me of a catchy song...one way or another, I'll getcha, getcha, getcha, getcha...
*The Ace slaps his old friend upside the head and both men laugh as the scene fades...*
