(Everybody wants you by Damone plays in the background, signaling the start of nCws favorite TV show, the Pulse! A highlight clip of nCws finest is shown for an opening montage. Fade in a soundstage, with a large desk and a neon "The Pulse" sign behind it. A man sits at the desk, black suit, grey tie, he shuffles the papers in front of him as the music fades and the camera shifts into position.)
Keybo: Welcome to the hottest show in New Championship Wrestling! That's right, forget the Fox Line, forget Over the Top, forget O-TV, this is where the stars align, the planets coincide, and where it all comes together. This is..
The Pulse!
Keybo: A months worth of shows and yours truly is still sitting at this desk, bringing you the fire and the rain. Only one week remains until Soverign and the Colliseum, and the temperatures are getting hotter by the minute. Three Revolution, Three Resistance, all fighting for one thing inside a giant steel arena. Who will set aside the egos and work for the greater good? Ten days and we'll know! I'm soo excited, and you should be too. Because it's time for The Rundown!
(Keybo spins in the chair, stopping when he's facing the left side of the desk, looking into camera #2.)
Keybo: The name of Trauma this week was vengeance. Sexy Jason gets his hands on Dirty Deal again, and Mark Evil can get some vengeance for the possibility of losing his job. Normally, you'd have to lose your job to get vengeance. But hey! It's Mark Evil. He's the exception.
Joe Everyman vs Steve Awesome
Keybo: Seems that everyone and their mother has been questioning the heart of one Joe Everyman. Well, not me. I still believe in you. But to be honest, not more than I believe in the Awesome one. And I was right, again.
Steve Awesome 1-0
Mr. Preston vs Shaddix
Keybo: It's good to see that Shaddix not only can stay within the confines of the rulebook in the ring, but also within the confines of the law. Seriously, it's on TV. You're telling me the Cops can't find him here? Well, I hope not, because the kid has potential. Way to go, Shadow Master. We'll forget the fact that Davey Ortega handed you that one. Mainly because I'd like to just forget Davey Ortega.
Mr. Preston 1-1
Sexy Jason and Mark Evil vs Dirty Deal
Tag Team Grudge Match
Keybo: Not sure what is so grudge about it. Jason and Evil winning would profit them nothing. Amber is still Dirty Deal's, Damien is still a douchebagerton. The only one who could suffer from this was Evil, and that is just not fair. But in the end, Jason caused this match to get entirely thrown out. Saving Amber further embarassment, and Evil's job. Good thinking.
Sexy Jason and Mark Evil 1-1 (No Contest)
Keybo: After the excellence that was Trauma, what would you do for an encore? That's right, please accept your gold star. It's Collision time!
A deal was brokered that will change the face of Soverign. Adam Knite, Angel, Philip Burns, JFK, MGK and AJ Phoenix all step into that horrorfest of blood and steel. Sure, a World Title shot is on the line, but, that will just be a secondary prize to beating and bludgeoning your adversaries to death. Also, Leonard Fox has given Falcon an ultimatum. One week to show proof of Awesomes involvement in the removal of Spike Kane. Clock is ticking bird boy.
CK Owens vs Kevin Kruger
Keybo: One promising rookie versus another. Nothing on the line here but pride and a chance to impress the bigwigs upstairs. I had my doubts about Kruger, but hey, I guess he showed me, right?
CK Owens 1-2
AJ Phoenix vs Xavier Williams
Keybo: An epic rematch of an epic battle from a couple of X Division superstars. I'm fully behind Xavier Williams, but you can't deny AJ. You can try and try, and the more you do, the stronger he gets. Good job, Mr. Phoenix.
AJ Phoenix 2-2
Overdrive vs The Age of the Revolution vs Motor City Mafia vs Two Below Zero
Keybo: Tis a sad day for New Championship Wrestling. My very first studio guest in Frostbyte has left us. I had hoped he could go out with a win. But it just wasn't meant to be. And after a great match, the Karns managed to come out on top. Maybe a Tag title run for them next? Twould be epic my good sirs.
Age of the Revolution 2-3
Jack Hammond vs Mike Honcho
Cardboard World Heavyweight Championship of the World Match
Keybo: Let me get this straight. Hammy already has one World title, and they give him a chance at a second one? But the Magic man doesn't get a chance at the real gold? He beat Steve Awesome! Err.. forget I said that. Anyway, I cry shenanigans. But, nevertheless it was a great match, and in the end, Hammond walked away with the cardboard. Or he tried to, before Honcho burned it in the ring. What's next, styrofoam?
Jack Hammond 3-3
Adam Knite, Falcon and Homeless Harold vs Kristoff Liam Bates, Jimmy Zane and the Ace
Keybo: For a group of guys who don't seem to care for one another, they kept it clean. So kudos for that. I half expected Harold to try to kill Zane or Falcon, or perhaps both. I expected Adam to call for Angel, Burns and Nelly. And I half expected Bates to just sit back and watch. But, it was a great Main event, and everyone I talked to after the show went home happy. It closed in one technical marvel in Bates, making another technical marvel in Adam Knite tap out to the suffocating cubicle.
Adam Knite, Falcon, and Homeless Harold 3-4
Week: 3-4
2009: 14-11
Keybo: Let's add up the numbers here. Oh no.. I'm subpar for the week! Dagnabbit. But, I'm still up for the year, so all is not lost. Especially since we can always look forward to the future! Yes, yes, yes kiddies.. the future!
(Keybo spins the chair again, stopping facing the other way. He reaches down and puts on weird turban, looking like the thing Johnny Carson used to do. The camera switching to #3.)
Keybo: We fall headfirst into the Ides of March. Saint Patricks day cometh and what not. But the real pre holiday is March fourteenth, when New Championship Wrestling presents Trauma!
Ron Gibson vs Kevin Kruger
Keybo: Kevin Kruger showed a lot of spirit in his debut last week. But this week he faces off against someone just as tough and mean as he is. The only question is, doesn't he have a second gear? Another level he can go to? I'm not so sure.
Ron Gibson
Bob Grenier vs CK Owens
Keybo: Owens comes off a tough loss against Kruger. Grenier comes off some resful time off. Momenum versus ring rust. Who wins? The one with fresh legs, that's who.
Bob Grenier
Steve Awesome and Falcon vs Overdrive
Keybo: There's very few ways this match can go, and most of them end with Falcon on his back, bleeding from a couple places. But, this does reek of the birds handiwork, and I'm betting he's got a plan. The question is, will Awesome play along?
Overdrive
Kristoff Liam Bates (c) vs Homeless Harold
Xtreme Championship Match
Keybo: These two have faced off twice, but never alone. And I'm betting they are both itching for this chance. Harold wants his title back, and Kristoff wants to prove he's not a one trick pony. I expect the Trauma ring to run red before the night is out. But my money is on retention.
Kristoff Liam Bates
Keybo: And that would end Trauma. But Trauma is just an appetizer to Collisions entree. So let's jump forward again to the fifteenth, for Collision!
Mike Honcho vs Curtis Kanyon
Keybo: The Magic Man against one of the dirtiest guys, and I mean that literally, I've ever seen. This match can go either way, depending on how the Honch is feeling. I'm backing you again kid, stop calling. You're not getting on my show by begging.
Mike Honcho
Adam Knite vs Jimmy Zane
Keybo: If there ever was two guys who wanted to tear each other limb from limb, these guys could make a case for being those guys. Jimmy Zane hasn't officially thrown his hat in with the Resistance, but with as much ire as he has against the Revolution, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. But, I'm still worried about his head.
Adam Knite
Nelly Angel vs Xavier Williams and Shaddix
Handicap Match
Keybo: Rules are simple. If Nelly pulls it out and wins this match, he doesn't have to defend the X Division title at Soverign. The rub is, whoever pins him gets the shot. So expect this to be more or less a triple threat. Man, Diamond knows how to make matches my friends. Once again though, I back the X train. Win this one for me, kid!
Xavier Williams
Age of the Revolution vs Echoes of Freedom
World Tag Team title match
Keybo: Christmas comes a whole bunch early for the Echoes. Since Angel and Burns got put into the Colliseum, the title defense got moved ahead by one week. Will it help the Echoes? I'm sorry, but no, it won't. You still have your work cut out for you boys.
Age of the Revolution
Jack Hammond vs AJ Phoenix
Keybo: These two faced off several times over the X Division title. Mat classics every one of them. But now, the Hamster has ascended to the highest height, and AJ has gotten himself involved in the Revolution War. But, in the end, this will show everyone that AJ Phoenix deserves as much of a chance as anyone else.
AJ Phoenix
The Ace vs Rob Diamond vs Sexy Jason vs Mark Evil
Fatal Four Way for the #1 Contender spot for the World Title
Keybo: This is it gentlemen. The four of you duking it out for a shot at Hammy in one weeks time. As much as you have to be prepared for this, this is only the beginning. Adam is lurking, AJ is lurking.. You're at the start of the road guys, now you just have to start walking. Who can walk the furthest? I think we know the answer.
The Ace
(He spins around again, back to the center, and camera #1, losing the turban in the process.)
Keybo: Joining me in the studio is the One Man Crusade himself, Xavier Williams!
("All Nightmare Long" by the legendary Metallica plays as Xavier steps through the curtain. He and Keybo do a hip handshake, let's just say it involves four hand slaps, three gestures and a fist bump. Xavier takes his seat on the couch.)
Keybo: Welcome to the Pulse, Mr. Williams.
Xavier: No problem man. Thanks for having me.
Keybo: I think the first thing on everybodys mind is. What's it like being straight edge?
Xavier: It's very liberating. You don't face the distractions of the biz. You're not being chased by demons like everyone else.
Keybo: It certainly shows in you. Two time X Division Champion, former World Champion. You are a shining example for the lifestyle.
Xavier: I try to be.
Keybo: Excellent. The world needs more men like you. Ready for some fan questions?
Xavier: Lay it on me.
Keybo: V. Mcmahon from Stamford, CT asks How does it feel to live in the shadow of The Rock being a black wrestler? And on a personal note, do you hate him as much as I do for going Hollywood?
Xavier: I'm not in the shadow of anyone, let alone Duane Johnson. There always has to be a first someone, and it doesn't matter either. And yes, the sport of wrestling is worse off without him.
Keybo: P. O'Furniture from Ireland asks Xavier, if you could do any other profession besides professional wrestling, what would it be?
Xavier: You know, I don't know. But if pressed, I'd have to go with Cage Fighting. Maybe basketball.
Keybo: Alrighty. Ben Dover from Breakfast... Ireland.. that's a real place?
(Xavier just shrugs.)
Keybo: Anyway, he asks..Hey X, killer boots man, just wanted to ask ya, I heard rumors about you taking some time off to drop a rap album. Whats the word on that G? I mean X?
Xavier: Those rumors are just that, rumors. I'm going to be here in NCW until my crusade is finished and all my enemies lie broken behind me. Count on it.
Keybo: And we're glad to have you here. We've all seen how far wrestlers rap albums get. V. Ice from... the ghetto.. asks Is it true that you were a lemonade salesman before you became an nCw Superstar? And if so, why did ya give it up, couldn't you handle servin' lemonade with ice ice baby?
Xavier: Heh.. No.. and no.
Keybo: And also.. What is it about your culture that made you so popular with the youth of today, so much so I thought a white guy like me could get in on the action by lying to my fans about my roots?
Xavier: That, I don't know. I'm just here to be Xavier Williams. I'm not here be any one part of "my culture" as you called it. As for lying, that's all on you man.
Keybo: And the last one is from A. Blake in West Hartford, CT. My question for Xavier is, what is it going to take for you to snap out of of this "I was the world champ" bull**** attitude of yours and get back to killing M'Fers in the ring like you used to? Cause if it's going to take me bringing you to hell and back again, I'll do it. Love always. Angel.
(They just stare at one another a long moment.)
Keybo: Ok, that was awkward.
Xavier: Well, Angel knows I'll get to him sooner or later. Then we'll see if he wants to go to hell and back. Take that **** to the bank.
Keybo: And on that note that's all the time we have this week. For all of us here at New Championship Wrestling, this is Keybo Shabaz, host extraordinaire of the best show on Television, The Pulse! Now, remember..
Steel Chairs are fun...
Barbed Wire is a good time..
And always tip your waitress!
Good night.
(Everybody wants you by Damone plays again as the transmission fades out.)
"Hey, tune in next week when my guest will be that sprite full of fight, the one, the only Joe Everyman! Questions? Comments? Want to place a bet on if he'll show up? Send them in to:

Or Call the studio lines at 1-866-555-3737
And I'll see you here next week!"
(Reply with a question, or PM me if it's private. Just like the Fox Line you can ask ridiculous questions, just edit them for TV. Thanks for the support last week. Let's do it again this week. I'd like to apologize to X if anything is out of his character, but the people would riot if the show isnt up on time, and I did try to get ahold of you dude.)
