(Everybody wants you by Damone plays in the background, signaling the start of nCws favorite TV show, the Pulse! A highlight clip of nCws finest is shown for an opening montage. Fade in a sound stage, with a large desk and a neon "The Pulse" sign behind it. A man sits at the desk, black suit, gray tie, he shuffles the papers in front of him as the music fades and the camera shifts into position.)
Keybo: Welcome to the hottest show in New Championship Wrestling! That's right, forget O-TV, forget the Fox Line, forget Over the Top, this is where it is at my friends.
The Pulse!
A Night to Remember was exactly that. The Coliseum prophecy has come to pass and the War has finally ended between the Revolution and the Resistance. And for the first time ever, we have a dual championship that doesn't involve the word "Tag". So, it's time for The Rundown!
(Keybo spins in the chair, stopping when he's facing the left side of the desk, looking into camera #2.)
Keybo: Well, it's April, and that means NCW puts on the best show that you'll see until next April. There was an awesome X Division classic, a six way rumble for the Xtreme title, an eight man elimination match, and of course, the Gladiator fought for his World title prize against the most elite man in the business.
Shaddix vs Chino
Keybo: Wired only had one match, but that was all it needed after the classic these two put on. Shaddix came back in full force and show a rookie what the ropes were. Unfortunately, Chinos developmental contract is expired and he has not renewed. Good luck buddy.
Shaddix 1-0
Mark Evil vs Nero
Xtreme Rules
Keybo: Well, Neros television debut didn't go over quite as planned, but I can guarantee you the effort did not go unnoticed. He'll stick around, that I'm sure of. But for now, Evil picks up another Xtreme win.
Nero 1-1
Xavier Williams (c) vs Jack Hammond
NCW X Division Championship Match
Keybo: A classic of X Division superstars of epic proportions. Xavier Williams, perhaps one of the best athletes in recent memory, and Jack Hammond, the spunky never say die underdog, battling out for the gold with the big bright X on it. When it was all over, the Hamster ran supreme and now sits atop the throne, waiting for the elite 8 to begin.
Jack Hammond 2-1
Mike Honcho vs Rob Diamond
Grudge Match
Keybo: We sat and we waited. Many moons for Rob and Mike to see who was the better Diamond, the son or the brother, to carry the mantle of the family name, and what happens? Mike Honcho can't even be bothered to show up. I'm sooo disapointed.
Rob Diamond 3-1
Kristoff Liam Bates (c) vs Joe Everyman vs Curtis Kanyon vs Ron Gibson vs Sexy Jason vs JackHammer
NCW Xtreme Championship Match
Keybo: Six Men entered the squared circle to beat each other bloody until one of them would stand tall as the beacon for the Xtremists. And history was made while they were at it. When Gibson and Kanyon both pinned a man at the same time and became the first ever Co-Xtreme Champions.
Curtis Kanyon 4-1
Team NCW vs Team Revolution
Eight Man Tag Team Elimination Match
Keybo: The Final battle for the company came down to these eight men. Leonard said that NCW as he envisioned it would never die. Kelly said that NCW was better under her vision. It didn't look good at first, the Karns were eliminated, Steve was kidnapped by Harold, and AJ stood alone. But that was enough. AJ had some "Angels" watching over him literally. After Angel and Burns turned their back on the Revolutions cause, Falcon was left to martyr until the end. No one deserved it more I say, and I hope he felt every bit of it.
Team NCW 5-1
The Ace (c) vs Adam Knite
NCW World Heavyweight Championship Match
Keybo: The seeds sown at Soverign came to fruition here. Adam Knite, NCWs prime gladiator, takes on the pride of the company, The Ace, for every last nickel and dime. They about killed one another for the prize, and to be honest, I couldn't ask for anything more. But, sadly, as I predicted, a dark Knite started, and we'll just have to keep trucking through it to find the dawn.
Adam Knite 6-1
Week: 6-1
2009: 57-26
Keybo: Things changed and things have stayed the same. I say that because though NCWs face has changed, I still remain as the cream of the crop for picking the winners. Now, it's time for the fallout of a Night to Remember. Because we're going... Into the Future!
(Keybo spins the chair again, stopping facing the other way. He reaches down and puts on weird turban, looking like the thing Johnny Carson used to do. The camera switching to #3.)
Keybo: That's right, all the way to May 2th when once again it's Trauma Time!
Nero vs Steve Ramone
Elite 8 Qualifier
Keybo: Two men have to battle to find out who's going to make it into the tournament. Nero comes off a beating at the hand of Mark Evil, while Steve Ramone rides in high off of his free agent contract signing. I gotta believe the rest is going to be the difference
Steve Ramone
Shaddix vs JackHammer
Keybo: Shaddix's spectacular return hits a roadblock here as he runs full on into seven feet of pissed off muscle. He may win, but like most improbabilities it is not very likely.
JackHammer
"Maniac" Chris Diamond vs Rob Diamond
Grudge Match
Keybo: The Maniac returns! I have been waiting for this day since I left that broken company Pinnac.. nevermind. A lesson will be taught, and one will be learned, does Maniac still have it? Has Rob surpassed the legend that is his brother? Yes, and YES!
Rob Diamond
Keybo: And that will do it for Trauma. However, my psychic powers are not all used up yet.. Let's take a look at the first Collision after a Night to Remember. All the way to May 3rd!
Kristoff Liam Bates vs Jack Hammond
Keybo: The former Xtreme Champion takes on the current X Division champion and everyones favorite hamster, Jack Hammond, in what could be a preview of a match at Reborn for that illustrious X title.
Kristoff Bates
The Ace vs Mark Evil
Xtreme Rules
Keybo: Ask and ye shall receive. Mark Evil demanded a match with the Ace under the banner of Xtreme rules, and Ace gladly accepted, I just hope this is one time where you get what you wish and end up regretting it.
The Ace
Amber Ashe with Dirty Deal vs Jade with the Lords of Destruction
Cat Fight
Keybo: This will be under my recollection the third ever Womens match in NCW history, and it promises to be a lot of scratching, hair pulling and slapping. I'd like to say it's going to be a mat classic, but doing announcing doesn't teach you how to wrestle, and well.. does Jade even know what a ring looks like?
Amber Ashe
Xavier Williams vs Joe Everyman
Elite 8 Preview
Keybo: The X Man against the E man. I almost don't know who to root for. We knew X would be in this tournament the minute it was announced, either at the top looking down, or at the bottom looking back up. But Everyman seems to be moving up without moving up, and I'm proud of him for that.
Xavier Williams
AJ Phoenix, Angel and Philip Burns vs Adam Knite, Homeless Harold and Falcon
Keybo: And so the Diamond one has consented to give the members of the war one final battle to remove all the enmity from one another. The war is over, the causes are dead, but these guys are going to give you a show you'll never forget, regardless of the consequences.
AJ Phoenix, Angel and Philip Burns
Keybo: But, the pay-per-view segments aren't done yet, because it is once again time for.. The Glory!
(He spins around again, back to the center, and camera #1, losing the turban in the process.)
World Championship
Champion:Adam Knite
#1 Contender: The Ace
Dark Horse: AJ Phoenix
Keybo: Adam and the Ace swap spots after the match at a Night to Remember, but always in the back of both of their minds has to be AJ Phoenix. He has already said he will end Adams reign before it truly begins, and I'm betting he won't let anything stop him.
National Championship
Champion: Steve Awesome
#1 Contender: Homeless Harold
Dark Horse: Mike Honcho
Keybo: After defeating Falcon for the second time, Steve has put that demon to rest. But now he faces more than just a man, he faces a monster who has been stalking him, and as of a few days ago, actually kidnapped him. But, now that Diamond is out of the way, look for Honcho to get back in a title hunt, and watch it start here.
X Division Championship
Champion: Jack Hammond
#1 Contender: KLB, Falcon, JFK, Xavier Williams
Dark Horse: Shaddix, Joe Everyman, Rob Diamond, Steve Ramone
Keybo: Lot of names up there, I know. But the Elite 8 X Division tournament will begin, and any one of those eight names can walk away with a shot, and then walk away as the champion. It's too soon to tell who will, but that's the fun in watching right?
Xtreme Championship
Champion: Dirty Deal!?!?
#1 Contender: Sexy Jason
Dark Horse: JackHammer
Keybo: It's going to be really difficult to manage a way around beating both members of Dirty Deal to get those titles off of them, but if anyone has shown the willingness to try, it's Sexy Jason. But Jackhammer is looking to be more than just Sexy Jasons tag lackey, and beating him to the punch would be the way to go.
Tag Team Championship
Champion: Age of the Revolution
#1 Contender: ...umm NAZI...?
Dark Horse: Umm.. can we rehire MCM?
Keybo: The Revolution soundly defeated Dirty Deal to retain the tag belts, but where do you go from here? There doesn't seem to be any viable contenders left. Do we just make one up? I don't know anymore.
Keybo: That's it for The Pulse, ladies and gentlemen. For all of us here at New Championship Wrestling this is Keybo Shabaz! Always remember..
Steel Chairs are fun...
