The word family is defined as a group of people related by blood or marriage. The thing is how can you define a word like that. It’s like saying if you are a foster child you don’t get to have family. That’s just not right. Just because your real parent are douche bags doesn’t mean they deserve to get cursed because for it.
I know I am blessed to have a daughter who loves me with all that he is and I have a cousin who would die for me tomorrow if it was necessary, but what about the people who help you in your everyday life. Those people who aren’t blood, but are still closer than blood can take you. How many family members do you know you who would fight for you at any cost? How many family members do you know that would show you unconditional love?
After you count out how many people you can say that about count them out on your fingers. Did you get past one hand. If you did than you should realized you are blessed to have your life. If you didn’t well don’t worry about it to much. You have the life of almost every person on this earth. Hell I am pretty damn sure aliens have the same fu*ked up lives we do. They came to Earth looking for answers of life’s problems. They stayed for our willingness to get anal probes. It’s kind of amazing that aliens always seem to find gay men or freaky woman up for anything, but that is going way off topic.
Back to the point at hand. Friends are sometimes all we have in life. We seem to take for granted that they are there for us. We always assume that they will be there. They are just a phone call away, then something happens. They move away for some reason and you lose contact with them or worse something happens to them and they are truly out of your life forever. How do you deal with the fact that you will never see that person again and you just let them leave your life without at least saying thank you or really showing any kind of appreciation for what they have done in your life. They are gone and you have to deal with the pain. Just hope it doesn’t eat you alive.
Now I know I was insulting the blood family and how they don’t really seem to do a lot to make sure that you are okay, but some of the time you do get those people who really do care and if you do have someone in your immediate family who does care then you should show them the love too. After all they were there when you had some of your early problems. Never forget them and all that they do.
Now what has always caught my attention is the fact that while most people can be a*sholes and have nothing but hatred in their hearts, there are people out there who have unconditional love in theirs. No matter what you do in your life to fu*k it up for the rest of us. Those people are there to make sure that you understand that you fu*ked up and to let you know that they forgive you and will help you get back on the right track. God put these people on the Earth for people like me. People who can’t quite get why they are here and that they are fu*king up royally. He gave me a daughter so he could show his mercy and to try and shape my life in the way I should go. It didn’t work to well, but He is still trying through Lisa .
In a lot of ways I guess He brought Vanessa back into my life as a way of showing me my fu*k ups. Either that or he is trying to give me a reminder that He hates me. It’s just that they have always been there for me no matter what I did they were there to let me know that it will be okay and were there to let me know there was no need to ask for forgiveness. Vanessa isn’t the best at letting you know you are forgiven she more a less tries to let you fell like sh*t for a bit and then lets you know, but you know the love is there.
The people you meet during your life can be the people that will save your life. Introduce yourself to people you meet. If your standing in line at the bank don’t hesitate to speak to the person behind you. Not only will help pass the time, but you might find out that you have something in common. It could lead to something more. I mean if nothing else you just passed the time and you can go on your way.
You should never give up that there is no hope in this world for you. Hell even I found hope in life and I thought hope had passed me by years ago. Let me tell you all a little story. There once was a guy who was on top of the world. He was loved by everyone he met. This gentlemen had it all, but he wanted to see what else he could get. So he made a corrupt business deal and got a **** load of money. For a while the money made him happy. He never thought of how he just ruined a relationship that people pray to have. The thing is after awhile he got into the lifestyle that people who didn’t have money get into when they get some. Drinking, drugs, and prostitutes became just part of the hell storm he had gotten himself into. Nothing gave him peace. Even the sight of his own child made him sick. The man was on the verge of death when he came across a last chance. He found the people who he had betrayed and run out on. He saw them and thought his only chance for forgiveness was to grovel and beg for mercy, but he was still to proud to beg so we continued his destructive ways only to continue his long hard road to hell. He wanted to get forgiveness, but something in him wouldn’t let it happen. So started fighting the people that he loved hoping to kill the pain inside himself. He joined up with the wrong crowd hoping they could give him some peace, but the people he aligned himself with turned out to not be what he was looking for, but he thought it would get better. It was to no avail. The fall continued and he finally hit rock bottom after a night that changed everything. He had nothing left to be proud of so he went to beg but upon approaching his former friends he was welcomed with open arms like nothing had happened. His friends were his family again. He was finally complete.
Friends and family’s love is all that we need because the one thing that is most important is the one thing we take for granted and the one you don’t notice until your life is on that line. I think it's the way God had planned it to open up your eyes and make us realize that to some life is money but what's money without life. All I need in life is the air that I breathe and my friends and family to believe in me.
I hope you can learn from all of this. Don’t follow the path that I have walked. It leads to nothing, but I really fu*ked up feeling in your life and loneliness that nothing, but love can feel. My friend’s don’t be a loser kid like me. You may not get the chance to be the prodical son.
JackHammer saves his blog, closes his laptop and sits it down on the desk in his office. He stands up from the chair he is sitting in and walks out of the room looking like he is on a mission. His eyes seem like they are focused on finding one thing and one thing alone. After a couple of laps around the house JackHammer eyes seem to lose that look because he can’t find what he is looking for. Finally he goes to look outside and sees his daughter playing in the yard. The look in his eyes has changed from focus to a look of love. JackHammer just stands there and watches her run around the yard and play for a few minutes before he walks outside. Lisa sees her dad and runs over to him and jumps his arms to give him a hug. JackHammer hugs his daughter back and then sits down in a chair on his porch. Lisa sits down on his knee as they start to talk.
JackHammer: Were you having fun out here Lisa?
Lisa: Yes daddy. It’s finally summer. I can play a lot longer. Just wish I had a pool to get into.
JackHammer: Lisa you know that I would love to let you have a pool, but the nice people who let us live here I can’t.
Lisa: I just want a baby pool.
JackHammer: Sweetie I can’t. I tried, but the people who own the house are not nice people.
Lisa: Then why do you we stay here.
JackHammer: We stay here because we are blessed to have a home. How about I tell you a story?
Lisa: You haven’t told me a story in forever. I want to hear a story.
JackHammer: Once upon a time there was a little girl who saved her father’s father life with her love. Her father had gotten hurt really bad and was going to die. The last thing her father remembered was seeing his daughter’s face before he went to sleep. He started to not feel good at all and started to see a light. His body started to go closer and closer to the light, but he kept hearing his daughter’s voice saying she loved him and out of nowhere his body started flying away from the light and when he opened his eyes his daughter was laying down next to him. He saw his little angel and knew that his daughter was his saving grace and that he could never repay her for what she had done for him. He finally saw what people had told him for years. A child’s innocence can change the life of even the hardest heart.

Lisa: No daddy, where did it come from?
JackHammer: It came from you when I saw sick and in the hospital your voice gave me the strength to wake up. Your face gave the faith that everything was going to be okay. You saved me from death Lisa.
Lisa: I’m little. I can’t do that.
JackHammer: Even the smallest ant can move stones that would appear to crush him. Your body size has nothing to do with this. It’s your heart Lisa . If you have the heart and compassion for someone you can save them.
Lisa: I never knew that. I never would have thought I could do anything special.
JackHammer: Lisa you can do anything you set your mind to. If you want to do something enough you will fight for it.
JackHammer sees his cousin pulling into the driveway.
JackHammer: Lisa why don’t you go inside and get the Toy’s R Us paper. I might just get you a pool and take the punishment.
Lisa: Okay Daddy.
Lisa is so excited that she jumps off her dad’s lap and runs into the house. After a couple of seconds Lisa comes running out of the house and gives her dad a hug before running back into the house. JackHammer stands up and walks out to his cousin’s car. Goliath gets out of his car just as JackHammer gets to it. Goliath is a little curious why his cousin is coming out the car.
Goliath: Is everything okay Jack?
JackHammer: Yeah everything’s fine.
Goliath: Then why you coming out here?
JackHammer: Look I don’t really know how to speak what I need to say to you so I wrote it out.
JackHammer hands Goliath an envelope and then starts walking towards his truck.
Goliath: What is this?
JackHammer: Just read it.
Goliath: Where you going?
JackHammer: I need to go get something for Lisa . I want the letter read by the time I get back.
JackHammer gets into his truck and pulls offs.
Goliath watches him pull off then opens the envelope to see a letter inside.
Dear Goliath,
My "brother" I don’t really know how to explain how much you have meant to me over the years. You have shown me and Lisa unconditional love and have never once complained about having to give up your own life for my bull sh*t. There truly is nothing that I can do to make it up to you, but I will spend the rest of my life trying. Thank you. Goliath.

Goliath puts the letter back in the envelope and starts crying as the scene goes to black.
The scene reopens with JackHammer riding down the street in his truck thinking about all the things he has learned about himself in the past couple of weeks. Lisa’s new pool is in the bed of his truck. He stops at a red light and reaches under his seat to get out a video camera. Upon getting it set up on his dashboard the light turns green and the red light which mean recording come on.
JackHammer: You know I got to thank Sexy Jason. You took me to a place that I have been taken to in a very long time. You helped to see what I haven’t seen in a very long time. You helped me to see the wrestler I can be. You helped me to remember the days when I would do anything to get the job done. When I would risk life and limb just to hear the fans chant those famous words. “Holy Sh*t” “Holy Sh*t.” Thank you Sexy Jason for helping to breath life back into my gimmick. We will meet this comming Sunday at Fallout and I will give you a very special thank you.
Sexy Jason me and you face off again for the NCW Xtreme title in a junk yard match, a match that I've been in and have won the match before many times. I plan on winning this match again just like I did last week at Collision in our I Quit match, your just mad cause you got your a*s kicked all over the arena and I became the new NCW Xtreme champion. This comming Sunday at Fallout I will beat your a*s all over that junkyard and retain my Xtreme title.

JackHammer shuts off the camera as he pulls up to his house. After putting the camera back under his seat and he gets out of the truck and walks to the bed to get the pool out. He yells Lisa’s name to get her to come outside so he can show her what he got her. As Lisa comes outside JackHammer’s cell phone rings. He pulls his cell phone out and answers it.
JackHammer: Hello.
Vanessa: Jack!
Vanessa’s chipper voice can be on the other end of the phone.
JackHammer: How are you doing Vanessa?
Vanessa: Most uberly epic as possible my team epic friend. What about you?
JackHammer: I doing pretty good. How are the kids?
Vanessa: They are doing well. I realized that even without them being around me. They so talk like me.
Duncan: UBERLY!
Vanessa: Three years old and they are talking like me. that so epic! How's Lisa doing?
JackHammer: Why did you curse your kid’s making them talk like you. I will have retrain them how to talk. Lisa doing really good. I just went and got her a little pool.
After he finishes talking Lisa finally makes it out to him. JackHammer makes a motion like she needs to keep quiet.
Vanessa: You will not be retraining my kids. It's hard enough I need to retrain them because of their father.
Vanessa clears her throat.
Vanessa: Hey I was thinking why don't you bring Lisa by my Parma home. I was wanting to have a team epic family picnic. It's actually why I called.
JackHammer: Yeah sure me and Lisa can be up there real quick. Just send your jet.
JackHammer laughs.
Vanessa: Okay it will be there in three hours give or take a half hour because of air strip time.
JackHammer: Okay that can work. Do I need to bring anything?
Vanessa: Well Any swimming things that Lisa likes. Keep in mind i do have a large in ground pool. It goes from two feet to ten feet.
JackHammer just looks in the bed of his truck and sees the small pool he just bought. A sad look comes across his face.
JackHammer: Okay we will be there as soon the Jet gets here.
Vanessa: Epic! We'll see you then.
JackHammer: Talk to you then.
JackHammer hangs ups the phone and then looks at Lisa.
Lisa: What did you need Daddy?
JackHammer: Just wanted to say I love you. Go back inside and get some clothes together. I need to put some stuff together so can go see Vanessa.
