We look at our children and we see our future. We look at them and we see the future leaders of the world. We look at them and see the people who will take care of us when we get older. We look at them and we see the people who will wipe our a*ses when we sh*t our pants.
That is just wrong though. They aren’t the future. They are the now. We need to teach our children to be ready for anything now so that if something was to happen to us they aren’t lost in the world. I know that I look at my daughter and worry that if I leave this world tomorrow she won’t know what to do in life. We need to teach our children at a young age what is right and what is wrong. We need to teach them not to be afraid to take a few chances. Show them that it’s okay to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is.
I don’t know why so many people are afraid to sit down with their children and be honest with them. It can really help the relationship between you and your children if you are honest with them. I’m not saying you should go out and tell your children of all the bull sh*t the world has in it at a young age. All I am saying is talk to them. They can tell you something you want to know, but are afraid to ask. You shouldn’t fear your children. They are no different that you or me. They can be as smart as us, they are just smaller in stature.
The scene opens with showing JackHammer talking into a recorder while he is driving down the road. JackHammer is about to continue talking when he sees Lisa is starting to wake up. JackHammer just looks at her and smiles.
JackHammer: Enjoy your nap?
Lisa: Are we there yet?
JackHammer: Almost sweetie. We should be there within the next ten minutes. Are you ready to meet the kids?
Lisa: I can’t wait. It is going to be a lot of fun to play with them.
JackHammer: I think you are going to have lot of fun. Just remember they are a little younger than you so they may not be as excited as you.
Lisa: How old are they?
JackHammer: They are three. They are still getting used to being around Vanessa so they might be a little weird when it comes to meeting new people.
Lisa: Okay Daddy. I will be a friend to them.
JackHammer: That’s good. Sweetie. Look over there we are here.
We are in Parma, Ohio with JackHammer and Lisa pulling into the driveway at Vanessa’s house. JackHammer pulls the truck up to the front door and they get out. They take one look at the house and look at each other.
Lisa: Can we live here daddy?
JackHammer: You can live here if Vanessa will adopt you.
Lisa: That’s not nice daddy.
JackHammer laughs at Lisa.
JackHammer: I know sweetie. Let’s go find Vanessa and the kids.
JackHammer and Lisa walk up to the front door and knock.
Vanessa walks to the door with a surong over a swim suit. She has Duncan in her arm as she is in front of Majandra. Majandra opens the door quickly as Vanessa rushes behind them.
Vanessa: Majanadra let Mommy get the door.
Majandra sees Lisa, looks at JackHammer, and she slams the door closed.
Majandra: Mommy It’s the guy you don't like
Majandra yells as Vanessa opens the door.
Vanessa: Sorry Jack Hi Lisa
Vanessa says with a smile.
Lisa: Vanessa.
Duncan: Princess.
Duncan looks over his mom’s shoulder away from JackHammer.
Vanessa: Dun what's wrong?
Duncan: Daddy said not to look at him.
Vanessa: He's got his little girl Lisa with him. Besides your father isn't right about everything.
Duncan squints as he looks at JackHammer. Duncan then gets down from his mother’s arm and picks up Princess with both arms as he stands behind his mothers leg looking at JackHammer.
JackHammer: I take it your kids don’t like me. Guess I got to prove to them that Jeff is wrong.
Lisa goes running into the house to play with Princess, but Duncan turns his back so Lisa can’t see her. Vanessa looks down at Duncan.
Vanessa: Duncan let Lisa see Princess. Princess and Lisa are friends.
Duncan turns around and sets Princess down. Majandra looks at JackHammer.
Majandra: My mommy don't like you. She will have your belt. My mommy is epic
Vanessa shakes her head.
Vanessa: Maj where did you set your Vanessa doll at?
Majandra's eyes widen as she runs down the hall to find her doll.
Vanessa: Come in Jack.
Vanessa laughs as she walks behind Majandra.
Vanessa: JackHammer's a friend of mine Maj. Remember I said he and Randy would be coming around?
Majandra nods as she picks up her Vanessa doll like a baby.
JackHammer: Majandra is that your favorite doll?
Majandra nods as she hugs it.
Majandra: It's my Vanessa doll. I have had her since I was this many years old.
Majandra puts up two fingers.
JackHammer: That’s really cool. I bet you love your mommy a lot don’t you.
Vanessa and Lisa walk back towards the living room.
Majandra: Yes She's my favorite wrestler and my mommy.
Vanessa smiles as she walks over to Lisa and Duncan who are both petting Princess.
JackHammer kneels down so he can be closer to Majandra.
JackHammer: So you have been watching your mom train to wrestle for awhile. Does it scare you when you see her in the ring?
Vanessa: JackHammer.
Majandra: No cause Mommy is epic I don't get scared cause she beats butts.
JackHammer: That’s good. You shouldn’t be scared because your mommy is always safe. Besides my training match against your mom had you ever seen me before?
Majandra nods her head.
Majandra: Yes on DOWN TV. Daddy said you’re an as-
Vanessa steps in front of Majandra.
Vanessa: Daddy is wrong and don't repeat what your father says they are potty words. Why don't you and Duncan show Lisa the slide set I got for you in the back yard?
Vanessa looks at Princess.
Vanessa: Princess keep an eye on them. Any trouble start barking.
Princess yips.
Majandra stands up and walks outside getting Lisa and Duncan on the way out. Princess barks at JackHammer once and then follows the children outside.
JackHammer: Your kids are adorable. I guess Jeff didn’t paint a really good picture of me to them. I guess I will have to show them the real me.
Vanessa laughs shaking her head.
Vanessa: Well Jeff didn't paint a good picture of me to them and I’m their mother. But I think given time they'll come around. It's a good thing princess is a watch dog.
Vanessa laughs as she looks out the window at the kids and Princess.
JackHammer: Jeff knew this day would come and he was hoping that when the day came the kids would hate you enough that they wouldn’t want to go with you, but he didn’t count on you having two of your best friends around to help you. I know I can’t speak for Randy, but as for me and Lisa we are here to make things go smoothly.
JackHammer notices Vanessa looking out the window.
JackHammer: So has it set in yet that you are a mother.
Vanessa: Being uberly honest? No.
Vanessa shakes her head.
Vanessa: Not yet. It's almost like It's a dream or not really happening.
JackHammer: Don’t worry Vanessa. It will all come to you. The first time one of them falls and cries for you. The parenting instinct will kick in. It will just feel natural. The dream effect goes away when it becomes far too real. I hope you have a lot better luck with those two angels than I have had with mine.
Vanessa looks at JackHammer.
Vanessa: what in the heck are you talking about? Lisa’s a little princess
JackHammer: I didn’t say she wasn’t. I was saying I hope you being with your kids goes a lot smoother than some of the times I have had with Lisa. It’s just been a journey to keep her with me.
Vanessa looks down and nods.
Vanessa: Yeah. Um I'm still uberly sorry about that. But I know the struggle to get kids and keep them. I've had this issue since I came out of the coma.
JackHammer: There is no need to be sorry. What you did woke me up to what it means to be a parent. I guess in a way me helping you get your kids back was my way of saying thank you. I just look at Lisa sometimes and think of about all the time I have lost with her. I know you have lost a lot of time with your kids, but at least you have the excuse that they were taken from you. I had my daughter sitting right in front of me and I blew it. I know that I can’t ever make it up to her and it tears me apart inside.
Vanessa: But you were working dude. You had to provide for her. She loves you. She at least knows who you are. You were there for a lot of things in her life. You're a good parent. I wish my kids would be the way Lisa is with you.
JackHammer: They will be. I think a lot of the reason that Lisa tries to stay so close to me is because Kristina told her how I almost died and Lisa is worried that it will happen again. I know that she loves me and I know that she worries at night about where I will be tomorrow. It breaks my heart. I have burned so many bridges in this business because when she would start to really worry I would come off the road to comfort her. It usually came at the worst of times. I just don’t want her to ever have the fear that I won’t come home to her.
Vanessa nods.
Vanessa: Well you're the only parent she has. Of course she would be worried. It's a common complex in single parents that are widowed or widows. But Duncan and Majandra they have Jeff. Whom they've known so much longer. How odd is that?
Vanessa sighs.
Vanessa: I think one day they will hate me for what I did. I'm training for wrestling now and things are indeed uberly epic.
Vanessa wrinkles her nose as she continues to look out the widow.
Vanessa: But I get them back only to be gone at work. Granted its one day a week so it's not that big of a deal but still to some degree it doesn’t feel fair to them I guess.
JackHammer: Sometimes I wonder if it worth it anymore. I leave her every week to go to work. Like you said it’s one day a week, but the separation is still there. Lisa has been raised more by my cousin than by me. It’s almost like he is the father and I am just someone who comes to spend time with her.
JackHammer rubs his hands over his head and face with frustration.
JackHammer: What’s bad is I start feeling like me worrying about her is only going to ruin my mind set for work. I just don’t know what to think of myself when that happens. Actually I do know what I think. I think I am a piece of sh*t father that doesn’t deserve what I have.
Vanessa: JackHammer that's not true. How about I do you a favor. I have a jet. After every Collision I fly you back to your home so you can see her more often?
Vanessa says as she looks nervously out the window.
JackHammer: That would be mess up you getting home. I couldn’t do that to.
JackHammer notices that Vanessa is looking out the window.
JackHammer: What’s wrong Vanessa?
Vanessa: It takes an hour and a half to drop you at your home. It’s not that messed up Jack.
Vanessa shakes her head.
Vanessa: Nothing I just keep checking on the kids and.. well Randy was supposed to be here.
JackHammer: I know. He will show up. He has a lot of things to think about. Like I said before. Whatever happens between you two happens. I know Randy well enough to know that everything will be okay. You just have to have faith in that. Why don’t you go outside with the kids and watch them. I am going to go out front and smoke a cigar and then I will be back there.
Vanessa: That’s disgusting. I've got to get them in their floaties then into their raft anyway.
Vanessa waves as she walks out her screen door. She walks through the hallways of her house out the side door to the deck. JackHammer watches her walk away and then walks through the house and out the front door. After getting his cigars out of his truck JackHammer lights one up and then reaches into his car and grabs the tape recorder. He hits record and starts talking into it again.
I may not know everything about children. Hell I probably don’t know a fourth of what I should know about raising a child, but I know what it means to love the one I got. I may never win father of the year. Hell I will probably never be in the running, but I know that me and my daughter have a great relationship. There is nothing that I can’t talk to her about. Even though there are times that I don’t feel like I do enough to show her love I know that she will be there to let me know that she loves me. This may not be what I usually do for my fans, but this is what I am thinking. Don’t like it. Deal with it.
JackHammer shuts off the recorder and throws it back in his truck. JackHammer then turns around and sees Akon washing the limo so JackHammer reaches into the truck again, only this time he pulls out his video camera. JackHammer walks over to Akon and hands him the camera. Akon turns the camera on then points it at JackHammer and starts recording.
JackHammer: The love that we show for our friends should be equal to the hatred that we show for our enemies. Sometimes we don’t quite show the same dedication on either front that we should. I don’t know if it’s the fact that hatred comes to much easier than love does but we should still show the love.
I could easily hate Sexy Jason for being the piece of sh*t that he is, but I would rather show the love for the legend that he is. I want to show respect for the man that has done it all in this business. I want to show respect to the man that still remembers that this a sport and not just entertainment. I want to show respect for that man that
JackHammer starts laughing.
JackHammer: Okay I tried to keep a straight face about this. I have nothing but respect for the man, but respect only goes so far. We are talking about a man here that has done a hell of a lot for this business. He has seen the world and he has done many things. Hell I will be the first to admit that he has beat me. The thing is I lost to him in the match. Sexy Jason lost to a b*tch named JackHammer. Sexy Jason lost to a bi*ch that he proclaimed the worst thing to ever come to wrestling. You say that by losing to me last week and your Xtreme title was very bad. How does that make you feel? I am man enough to admit my loses, but you have to come off like you are the ruler of the world. Old man I have shown nothing, but love to you. All you have shown me is what all the veterans in this business show me. The fact that they aren’t ready to give up the throne just yet so they use their swing to keep the new guy down. Well b*tch I ain’t new and you ain’t going to hold me down. I am far to dedicated to the cause to let that happen.
You speak of how you made a mistake joining me in forming Lords of Destruction and how I have changed since you left. You know what you’re right I have changed. I found something that an old bastard like yourself lost a long time ago. I found my love for life and this business again. I don’t need the money that Vanessa has or the name that Fox has. I have the love in my heart to know I am doing what I want to do. Maybe after I beat the ever living fu*k out of you, you will find the love again.
You may have been the longest ever NCW Xtreme champion, but at the end of the night at Fall out, I will be on track to breaking that record and becomming the longest NCW Xtreme champ ever. Now deal with the facts, fu*k tard.
JackHammer motions cut the camera off so Akon shuts it down and hands the camera back to JackHammer. After getting the camera JackHammer puts it back in his truck and heads back inside the house as the scene goes to black
