Scene: The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Inside of poker room, the southeast regional world series of poker is taking place. As the camera enters the room, the tournament head calls for a break and ESPN WSOP announcer Norman Chad is seen walking across the room and over to the V.I.P. section. He begins interviewing some of the celebrities that have come out to see the event take place. He makes his way down the line of “A-listers” and at the end of the line is Chris Brock.
Norman Chad: And now I have a special guest from New Championship Wrestling, rising star Chris Brock! Chris, nCw is in town for three exciting nights of action and you will be kicking it off with the debut of the returning show Suspense on Friday night. What brings you out to the World Series of Poker?
Chris Brock: well Norm, I’ve been a fan of the WSOP for a while and when my agent called me and said he had tickets, I was all over it. It’s been a great night of poker so far and I’m looking forward to the finale latter tonight.
Norman Chad: It certainly has been an action packed night. The break is almost over and when we come back, we start the final table where the winner leaves with a guaranteed spot in the finals latter this year in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’ll be back, right after this.
Norman and Chris shake hands as the camera filming the interview turns off. The two men exchange a few words and then Norman walks off. Brock walks to the end of the row and exits the VIP section, making his way over to the nCw camera. At the bar that over looks the tournament; Brock sits and looks to the camera.
Chris Brock: Fallout may not have been the night that I wanted it to be, but I will say this; Rob Diamond, you and I have unsettled business. I’m coming for you and when I finally get you in the ring again, there will be hell to pay.
A waitress walks up and asks Brock if he would like a drink. Brock orders an M&M (Captain Morgan’s Rum and Mountain Dew) and the waitress hurries off to make the drink. Brock looks back to the camera.
Chris Brock: So as the roster in nCw grows, so does its programming block. Out of retirement after over a year, Suspense returns to the airwaves on Friday night. For this very special occasion, Chris Diamond contacted me personally and asked me to be in the main event for this event. I agreed not knowing who my opponent would be, and I was not disappointed. A fellow member of the new talent initiative that brought guys like me and Cameron Corvis to this company, Gabriel Karras gets his first shot at the main event and oh what an event it will be.
Brock pauses for a moment as the waitress brings his drink over to him. Brock thanks the young lady and takes a drink of the liquid before setting the glass down on the table in front of him.
Brock: Gabriel, you think you have life completely figured out, don’t you? You fight what you feel is the good fight in the name of all that is holy and you feel justified in your actions, don’t you? “Do it for God” you say and “do it for God” you intend, but at some point you need to stop pretending and realize that you are a monster just like every other so called crusader in this company. You are on the same level as people like Rob Diamond and Adam Knight, only they’ve been here longer. I do not under estimate the power of faith Gabriel, but I have to wonder if you are truly dedicated to the cause? You talk a big game, but are you willing to pay the price for your own sins? When your day of judgment comes will you be willing to go to hell for what you have done? I know that my path has already been chosen for me and I am willing to beat down the doors to hell and spit in Satan’s eye if it means that I can put to rest people like you and the rest of the monsters that are infecting nCw like parasites. I am here to rid this company of you and everyone like you.
For almost three months I have been on my own in this company as the only guy that is willing to step up and take on the injustice in this company. Wins and losses don’t matter to me, as I’ve said before I am expendable in this company but that doesn’t mean that I will stop standing up for what I believe in. Unlike you Gabriel, my faith is unwavering. I don’t try to justify my actions by scripture and false semantics. I will tell you straight to your face and in plain English that you are a piece of garbage and not worth the paper that your contract is printed on. You can bring your sidekick, your congregation, hell you can bring the Lord himself if you want; but it will not stop me from completing my destiny of ridding nCw of the likes of you.
If you’re going to battle a monster, then it’s best to start with the lowest man on the totem pole. Right now, Gabriel Karras, that man is you. So on Friday night when Suspense makes its return to air, you better be ready because at the end of the night you’re going to be leaving that arena with a massive headache. Don’t worry though; the memory lapse will only be temporary.
