"There's a fine line in life between wants and needs. I want to win the World Title this Sunday at Battlegrounds, but I don't need to. I'm not going to quit wrestling or walk away from this company if I don't. I want to wrestle and defeat Adam Knite, but I don't need to. Adam is an excellent competitor and many a wrestler has fallen to him, there's no shame in that. But what I do need.. is to win the World title.. this time..
Who knows when my next chance comes.
I have to win now, because later might never come. Chances like this don't just happen every couple of weeks. If I don't come through now, all my work will be for nothing. The work of Spike.. Rob.. Cam.. all of it won't matter. I never asked for this load on my back, God knows I've dealt with enough pressure over these long years. But, if the burden is mine...
I can carry my own.
I have to win.. I have to...
For everyone who ever failed a tryout...
For everyone who was ever told they'd never make it...
For everyone who was told they'd never be good enough..
For everyone who was ever held down by someone above them...
For everyone who was Forgotten...
I won't fail this time. I can't afford to. This is my Rebirth. The day I give up reaching for the sky is the day they put me in a box. Sunday a bird may rise, but a King must fall. Only then, will I be able to stand atop the World and let them all know..
I... am... Reborn"

"Sometimes I don't get you.
(Falcon. Roof. Handi-cam pointed at the stars. Go.)
Falcon: You spend all this time, talking about crushing dreams like it's something you have to do. You win wrestling matches Adam, that's all. It's not your fault AJ didn't have the stamina to keep going when things not tough. Not your fault Ortega forgot he was a wrestler and lost.. again. Not your fault Bates has completely lost his damn mind. But you keep preaching these things to me like I don't know what you're talking about. And I suppose that's what bothers me the most. You talk me up about my potential, and how far I'll probably go, and then tell me you'll have to crush my young dreams. You keep forgetting who you're talking to. Hell, I'm probably older than you.
"Have you seen Kyle?"
(Serenity stood in the hotel hallway, a worried expression on her face. He hadn't been around all day, so she was resorted to asking people. This time it just happened to be Bad Luck Chuck.)
Chuck: You mean Falcon? (Nod.) I saw him headed for the fire stairs this morning. Don't know how much help that could be.
Serenity: Well, it might, it might not. Thanks anyway.
Chuck: Sure.
(She runs off for the stairs. Chuck, feeling good for being helpful, walked away, whistling and thinking his luck may change. I doubt it.)
Falcon: I'm not some green kid you need to lecture. I'm not that young guy who needs the older mentor to show him the ropes by giving him a beating. The sad thing is you know who I am, and you can't seem to just admit it. You want to hold onto the title, I get it. Hell, you should want to keep it, you should want to keep it forever, because as long as you have it, you're the best this company has to offer. As was Lance when he had it. Same with Spike, Trent, Steve, Xavier, Hammond.. yes.. even that lame waste of air you took the title from. Am I good enough to represent this company as its best? Yes. Of course I believe that. If I didn't, I don't deserve to be here. Will I be the one to stop you? I, like you, don't know. But I'm not doing this to stop you. It wouldn't matter if it was you, AJ or Davey, the story doesn't change. That's something you need to learn, and soon.
(Serenity found the exit stairs, she pressed the door open and looked inside. It extended up several floors, and down for twice as many. Where the hell would he go, she wondered? Then a little voice in the back of her head gave her the answer.)
Serenity: Birds always fly highest in the sky.
(She started off up the stairs.)
Falcon: The last thing you've forgotten, is that the truth is my deal. Has been for years. I was always the one who sat there and told people things they didn't want to hear. And now, here I am, listening to you list off what you predict will happen as fact. Maybe you will win. Maybe the King's reign of tyranny will last for another thousand days, I don't know. Nor do I really care. But what thing I've come to realize. People don't care about ideals. Nobody cared about the Social Enemies fighting for Equality. Nobody cared about the Revolution fighting to change the face of wrestling. All they cared about was the end result. So, I have to win Adam. It's not what I was hoping for, but it's something I must deal with. If my purpose is to be fulfilled, the road leads through you. Stop me if you want to... Or if you can.
(The door opened off camera. The view switches to the camera following Serenity, which has just stepped onto the roof. Falcon sat near the edge, the little handicam next to him, pointed up. He reaches down, and turns it off as she takes a seat next to him.)
Falcon: Alright, who spilled it?
Serenity: Chuck.
Falcon: I'd do something, but he probably fell down the stairs or something.
Serenity: More than likely. You ready for this?
Falcon: Ready as I'll ever be.
Serenity: I'm behind you. No matter what.
Falcon: I know that.
(There's several moments of silence, finally she leans her head on his shoulder.)
Serenity: But you had better win.
Falcon: Yes, ma'am.
(They laugh as the camera fades.)

I lie here paralytic
Inside this soul
Screaming for you till
My throat is numb
I wanna break out
I need a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is
The waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating
Inside this soul
Screaming for you till
My throat is numb
I wanna break out
I need a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst is
The waiting
In this womb I'm suffocating

Feel your presence, filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in, I've died.
Rebirthing Now
I wanna live for love
I wanna live for you and me
I take you in, I've died.
Rebirthing Now
I wanna live for love
I wanna live for you and me

Breathe
For the first time now
I come alive somehow
