(Everybody wants you by Damone plays in the background, signaling the start of nCws favorite TV show, the Pulse! A highlight clip of nCws finest is shown for an opening montage. Fade in a sound stage, with a large desk and a neon "The Pulse" sign behind it. A man sits at the desk, black suit, gray tie, he shuffles the papers in front of him as the music fades and the camera shifts into position. The expression on his face is priceless.)
Keybo: It's Wednesday! You know what that means don't you? Of course you do, that's why you're sitting in front of your TV screens or computer screens, waiting to be fed the delicious news for the week in nCw wrestling history.
The PULSE!
That's right, It's not a dream. It wasn't a one time deal. So let's get to the Rundown!
(Keybo spins in the chair, stopping when he's facing the left side of the desk, looking into camera #2.)
Keybo: Week one of the Road to the Gold is over, and the lineup is shaping up to be the best of what we have to offer. Let's recap.
Suspense
Terminus vs William Spencer
Keybo: I think this masked guy needs a drink, he might not be so serious all the time.
Terminus 1-0
Lance Ryan vs Gabriel Karras
Keybo: Yeah, Lance Ryan is the best, but even he has an off week now and again.
Lance Ryan 1-1
The Ace vs Philip Burns
Xtreme Rules
Keybo: I'm worried about Phil. Nobody has seen him since this match ended. Rumors of contract trouble and such, but I just don't know.
Philip Burns 1-2
Keybo: On Trauma, the tournament began.
Trauma
Jack Hammond vs Spike Kane
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Damn you Spike, you CHEATER!
Jack Hammond 1-3
Mike Honcho vs Gib
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Gib is truly over his insanity, in more ways than one, and advances to Round 2.
Gib 2-3
Glen Nodoveit vs Seth Evans
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Well, one of them had to lose, but after an awesome match. Glen cements himself as a tournament contender.
Seth Evans 2-4
Steve Awesome vs JFK
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Last tournament, Steve Awesome was at the top looking down. And now it looks like he won't rest until that comes his way again.
Steve Awesome 3-4
Keybo: Half of round two was set, now it was a waiting game for the other half.
Collision
Mac Bane vs Jimmy Zane
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Yea, he was mad. And this time it worked.
Jimmy Zane 4-4
Ricky Johnson vs Joe Everyman
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Well, Ricky failed me, so you pulled it out this week Everydouche. Keep smiling kid, you're gonna get what's coming to you.
Ricky Johnson 4-5
Sexy Jason vs Hexx
Road to the Gold
Keybo: I never thought I could rely on Sexy Jason to do anything, but he removed Hexx from the tournament.
Sexy Jason 5-5
Will Washington vs Alex Jones
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Oh where foreart thou AJ? We miss you.
Alex Jones 5-6
Falcon, Cameron Corvis, and Rob Diamond vs Dirty Deal and Xavier Cross
Champions Showcase Tag Match
Keybo: I hate Dirty Deal and everything they stand for. That's all I'm gonna say. Looks like another six man partner won a match for you, eh?
The Forgotten 5-7
Week: 5-7
2009: 178-109
Keybo: Ok, I'm not perfect. We've discovered this, moving on.
Keybo: Round two of the Road to the Gold tournament begins this week. Let's make this happen. Short Webisode of Suspense this week.
Suspense
Terminus vs Alex Jones vs Freakke The Clown vs Curtis Kanyon
Keybo: You can't really describe this match without the word cluster in it. All four of these guys are wild and unpredictable. My moneys on the dude with the mask.
Terminus
Cameron Corvis vs Ron Gibson
Keybo: After lucking out a win against three champions, Gibson gets his partner ripped from him and has to do something on his own.
Cameron Corvis
Keybo: And with that, Trauma will begin, and thus the Road to the Gold will continue.
Trauma
JFK vs Nick Logan
Xtreme Rules
Keybo: JFK was defeated by the Awesome one, and will more than likely take out all his frustrations against Nick Logan for missing the opportunity. Poor Nick.
JFK
Spike Kane vs. Gib
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Possibly one of the most anticipated matches in the Road to the Gold tournament. Spike may have taken the easy road to eliminate Hammy, but Gib is not going to be fooled.
Gib
Xavier Williams vs Seth Evans
Keybo: I like Seth Evans, he's a good kid. But this is X Dub we're talking about here.
Xavier Williams
Glen Nodoveit vs. Steve Awesome
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Reward comes not before the challenge. Glen wants that top prize? He'll have to go through one of the best this company has ever seen to get it. Sorry, but I don't see it this time buddy.
Steve Awesome
Keybo: After Trauma, the semi finals will be half set. But we're not done yet.
Collision
Rob Diamond vs Gabriel Karras
Keybo: Maybe what Rob has always needed was a little God intervention. But.. somehow I doubt it.
Rob Diamond
Jimmy Zane vs. Joe Everyman
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Let's see.. Joe.. douche.. Jimmy.. quazi douche.. I think we all know where my allegiance lies.
Jimmy Zane
Lance Ryan vs Xavier Cross
Keybo: This match flies under the radar being on the middle of the card, but I expect big things out of these two.
Lance Ryan
Sexy Jason vs. Will Washington
Road to the Gold
Keybo: Well Jason, you're gonna find this week to be quite a bit harder than the last. Seriously, the government needs to reclaim Will Washington before he kills someone.
Will Washington
Falcon vs Reckless Jack
Xtreme Rules
Keybo: Brad Kane is dead, at least the name is. And his first match back as Reckless Jack is a big one as he takes on the World Champion. If Jack can beat Falcon, he can damn near demand anything he wants. And I'm guessing what he wants is Spike.
Reckless Jack
Keybo: And now my guest in the studio is the stuff legends are made of, or so they say... Seth Evans!
("Have a Nice Day" by Bon Jovi. Seth Evans comes out to a well received pop. He takes the seat.)
Keybo: Welcome to the Pulse Mr. Evans.
Seth: My pleasure. I was wondering when you'd get around to me.
Keybo: Well, I'm a busy man. So how're things?
Seth: Little disapointed about not making it to the top of the tournament, but now I can focus more on beating that little scrub Diamond and bring that title to Toronto.
Keybo: Cool. We sorted through the mailbag and only found one question suitable for airing, so I apologize for the brevity of this segment.
Seth: That's cool man.
Keybo: Ok, Mr Happy.. from Tara's shower.. not sure where that is.. asks..I was just wondering why Tara won't go out to Deny's with me? I've been waiting for over a week now for her to show up like she promised.
Seth: I can't really answer why she hasn't at least answered you herself, but I know for a fact that she won't go to any restaurant that doesn't have a one-thousand dollar wine bottle for sale. It's like...her law, they need to be that expensive or the place isn't worth it.
Keybo: And I thought I had expensive girlfriends. Ok.. this little blinking light is telling me we have a caller.
(Keybo presses a button.)
Keybo: Go ahead caller, you're on with Seth Evans.
Caller: Hey, Seth. Two questions for you. One; how does it feel not being able to go home cuz of that douchebag Rob Diamond? And Two; could you tell Tara to answer her phone? She's been dodging my phone calls for months now. Also, as a personal favor to me could you steal a pair of her pan-
(Keybo Presses another button and the call ends.)
Keybo: ...And I thought the weirdos only emailed.
(Laugh.)
Seth: Well, to answer the serious parts. It's really not that damaging to me for not being able to go home...I'm currently staying in Buffalo, New York which is like...just across the lake from Toronto, so my girlfriend and friends can all just come visit me whenever the time is. It does feel bad because I do have a lot in Toronto, and a lot of people that don't feel like taking the time to come across the border for a little while to chill.
Keybo: That's good.
Seth: As far as you calling Tara's phone, I've been staying there for a while and...come to think of it, was it you that broke in? I heard some crashes and such. Anyways, she's not even home. She's in Hawaii getting ready to do a few of her own shows there. Have you tried her cell phone?
Keybo: I doubt he has that number. Plus I wonder how he knew you were staying there to ask you to steal her underwear.
Seth: That's what he was going for?
Keybo: Best guess, yes.
Seth: Ugh, no comment.
Keybo: Didn't think so. Anyway, that's all the time we have. I'm Keybo Shabaz, he's Seth Evans and always remember..
Steel Chairs are fun..
Barbed Wire is a good time..
And always tip your waitress..
Good Night.
