Blackheart is seen backstage just before Suspense. He's warming up and Jason Dunn has already moved in to ask the new guy some questions.
"Blackheart, I'm glad we could get you before your match tonight. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?"
Blackheart stopped warming up and looked at the man. He wasn't sure whether to hit him or humor him.
"Is it true your here to smack the hell out of a certain clown?"
No response, only angry glares.
"Well, ummm, I really hope you do, cuz he's nothing but a pest around here. Just two weeks ago he skipped out on a match just to play a horrible trick on me."
Blackheart's glare rolled as he understood who he was talking to.
"Listen, just turn around and walk away right now. I don't need a kiss ass sucking up to me. Once I settle my business with Freakke, it's done between me and him. He can spend whatever feeble days he has wallowing in shame. Weak and decrepit. I have other fish to fry first, so bug out."
Jason nodded nervously and dropped the subject. He continued the interview though.
"Ok...well how do you feel about the match tonight? You get to start your career here against one of the top guys in our industry. The X-Division Champion, Rob Diamond. That's gotta be a good feeling right?"
With an angry sigh, Blackheart looked at Jason with a new form of aggression. It was still controlled but he wanted to get the point across to leave him alone.
"Listen, this isn't the first time I've gone from everything to nothing. Way back when, before our little feud, me and the clown were two of the biggest up and comers for Defiant. After he left I got dropped to square one again. Since then I have risen to the top and been dropped time after time. Each time it gets easier. Each time it lasts longer. Each time, I have become better than I was. I don't care who I fight this first match. It could be freaking Andre the Giant and I would look at it like just another match. Now, get out of my sight."
Jason gulped.
"Just one more...
Blackheart grabbed Jason by the shoulder and hurled him into a cluster of garbage cans behind them. He made his way to the ring as people gathered to see if the interviewer was ok.
