holy.mother.of.god.
I saw the early showing of it today with some of my bros. Hands down, one of the best zombie movies. period. Obviously it wasn't a 'horror classic', but i loved Shawn of the Dead, I thought it was great. This was like superbad meets shawn of the dead. I found myself laughing through most of the entire movie, and they did a good job actually having some dramatic parts in it. Honestly, I've never gone to a theatre and sit down, and after watching a movie thing its one of my top five favorite, but i walked out of the place with a smile and was incredible entertained. For anyone who is on the fence about this movie go see it! If you are waiting, go see it. If you are blind...go see it. Joe Everyman would no show to see this....oh wait...

Saw the trailer and I think it looks awesome, so I'll go see this.
Oh, and anybody who doesn't like Shaun of the Dead should be castrated.

Shaun of the Dead re-vitalized zombies after the ****ty re-done plot lines of the prior three hundred zombie flicks since Army of Darkness. yes, that goes for the Videogame Plots too...unfortunately. I will hopefully get to see Zombieland this week, saw Invention of Lying last night, pretty cool flick and both cost about the same to make (roughly 20 million US dollars, which compared to most films that are "popular" is like virtually nothing). I suggest you go see Invention of Lying, especially if you hate religion, you'll get a good chuckle. BTW, the Catholic Church already pre-banned it with an "Offensive to church" rating.

I really wanted to see it before I read this, and now that I see this, it makes me want to see it even more.

I watched it last night and damn it was awesome. I recently joined a Cinema Club with some of my friends, we basically go to the movies once a week watch something and then tear it apart, kind of like Yahtzee and his game reviews, yet last night every single one of us left with a smile on our faces and were quoting the movie all the way home.
Truly an awesome film, however I believe withouth Woody it would suck, so I'm glad he's there, and the special guest cameo? Epic win.
